Immunity Challenge

Day 23

"COME ON IN!"

The soon-to-be top ten head in to find eleven large poles, with slim slots to insert fingers and toes. It's one of the most repeated challenges in Survivor history. Those who haven't made it to his challenge still have to hear the rules out though.

A couple people are very familiar with endurance challenges. Especially Wonder Woman over there.

Diana: The pressure's on. I need to keep immunity away from those robots no matter what.

With everyone present, Diana gives her immunity to Jeff, and he locks it on the stand. "You might get it back."

"Don't say that.."

Jeff returns with a smile. "Alright. Immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, you will hold onto a pole for as long as you can. When you drop, you're out. Last person left hanging wins immunity, and gets a free pass to the top ten. Losers are vulnerable at Tribal Council, where one of you will be the first member of the jury. Get into position and we'll get started."

Everyone's hugging that pole like they'll never see it again (ok ok ok ok ok). Judging from the contestants who are decent at endurance challenges, heck most of the people here WON one….yeah, this could take forever.

"Third immunity. A crucial one heading into the top ten. Survivors ready?"

.

.

"Let's begin."

Nobody slips down immediately, because let's face it, the poles aren't drenched in baby oil. A slip-n-slide is the WORST thing a castaway wants to balance on. It'd result in two, maybe THREE medavacs.

Five minutes later though, comes the first struggle. Sackboy, even though he can fit his limbs in those little cracks…doesn't have the best stamina. Especially after missing that reward. He's the first causality.

"Sackboy..I hate to do this again but you're out." Jeff admits, some pity considering the damage to Sack's body.

"It's ok :). I'm just glad to make it this far." An optimistic mindset to have.

"You better hope it doesn't screw you."

Sackboy heads to the bench, taking his early loss in stride. All he really cared about at that point is keeping his alliance in.

Ten minutes into the challenge, and Gordon's arms start to shake. Maybe in the past he'd last longer, but with the stiff competition, and the weakness breaking in, he drops out.

"Down to nine." Jeff calls.

As Gordon walks to the bench, Slade slowly slides down as well. With his feet hitting the sand, we are down to eight. Someone else is going to join in just a few moments, because of a plan that came into fruition before the challenge. Now's the time for action.

"Li Mei would have lasted longer." T'Challa starts, lighting the match to another fake fire.

"She's not here now, is she?" Slade asks.

"She'd laugh at you."

"Get him!" Mac shouts, still bitter over Slade's comment. The mercenary just shakes his head at the drama. He can't say much, he and his forbidden lover started the whole Mei slander.

Slade: That hurt my ego…but I can look past it for now. No insult we make is real. It's manufactured.

Pause.

Slade: Maybe our holy King does believe it, but even then who cares? We chose to keep this team under wraps.

After a few minutes, T'Challa let's his grip loosen a bit. He slides down a bit but catches himself. Nothing will break his focus.

"FALL!"

Slade's yell causes him to slide down, eliminating a challenge beast early.

"T'Challa, to the shock of ME, drops early." Jeff calls. "That's what happens when you make enemies."

"He's making more than me." The king hits back.

T'Challa: I can't win all the challenges. Slade is not just a good ally, he is a reliable villain in my story. If we go to the end, he will look so much worse than me, and I will take the crown. That's if he doesn't betray me first, but even HE knows it's too soon. He can think he's a schemer, but this deal benefits me the most.

As he heads to the bench, he lets out a sharp exhale. "That receipt is coming, Wilson."

"Still waiting on three."

Sackboy just drops between them. "Ok, new topic. Umm…where are you going after this?"

"Home." Slade answers.

"Really? Your home sounds..sad." Sackboy responds, trying to have an genuine conversation.

"It is."

T'Challa decides to chime in, because why not? "I have a lot of meetings. It is not easy being king."

Time still goes on. Almost half an hour in, and Peach drop. Despite her improved condition, she has to get to the bench.

"Peach is out, we are down to six."

Mac is next to go.

"Mac's out, down to five."

Chun-Li, Sektor, Cyrax, Metal, and Diana stick it out for a while. For a solid TEN minutes, they barely move. Endurance challenges seem to come naturally. Or at least THIS specific one for a couple.

"Forty minutes in. All of you are in the hot seat. Anyone can drop anytime. Even if you think you're the best, this challenge will humble you." Jeff narrates, putting extra pressure on them. The pressure doesn't seem to really work.

"The concept of 'humble' is a mind game." Sektor adds.

"You always have something to say, don't you?" Jeff asks.

"I need you to hear me out, Probst."

Jeff just shrugs. "Go on."

"Being humble, and 'non chalant' as they say, programs you to be weak in times of conflict." Sekto lectures. "If you keep your head down, that will make you more of a target for the predators that roam around us."

Jeff's eyes widen. "You think Type B's are weak."

"You understand me, Probst. Type A's are stronger." Sektor confirms. "I know this because—"

The longer he yaps about personality types, and the concept of "humbleness", the more bored everyone looks. Even after a ten minute TIMESKIP, he's STILL talking! People on the Sitout bench are getting tired too.

"How long can he go for?" Peach asks.

"A year, give or take." Slade admits. "He's done this before."

Gordon just looks like his mind was numbed.

Gordon: If his "mission" is to bore us to death: He did something right.

Even after the session is over, they are about an HOUR into this. There's some winces here, quick breaths there. Eventually someone else has to drop, and that someone else is…

.

.

Cyrax.

"Cyrax is out, we're down to four."

As the cyborg heads to the bench, eating defeat, Sektor slides down the pole.

"Sektor's out, down to three."

Sektor meets up with his fellow cyborg. Cyrax just has to ask though. "Did you wait for me to drop?"

"Perhaps I did. Perhaps I did not."

"You do not need to be so vague."

"But it's fun to make you question." Sektor admits, walking past his former friend. In his mind, he's scored a victory over Cyrax by just lasting longer. Cyborgs aren't immune from hater energy.

Cyrax: He was not this childish before.

Back to the challenge, and it's down to the nitty gritty. Three left, and a crucial immunity. Jeff decides to insult the viewers intelligence by saying who's left. "Chun-Li. Diana. Metal. All vying to get further into the jury phase."

At this point, there's not much to say until the next person drops. They have been there for an hour, and given who's left, they could be there much longer.

.

.

Li hangs on as tight as she can, but she still slides down.

"Just like that, we're on on one. There's no water to jump in, just the harsh sand." Harsh sand, Jeff? He acts like it's a five story fall. But the point stands: Wonder Woman and Metal Sonic are reliving history.

Their competitiveness shines through when Diana the trash talk. "Got another eight hours in you?"

"My spite will get me there." Metal replies, ready to run it allll the way back.

She spots Metal's right foot, struggling to stay inside that little slit. "What about your stamina?"

"Aren't you an antagonizer…"

Diana looks at the losers, leaning closer to hear them. "Have to keep the crowd entertained."

The crowd in question would keep the view for another hour and a half. There's no change. Even with the extra trash talk to stop themselves from boredom. Diana let's out ONE breath, and Metal's on it immediately.

"You could drop again."

She gives him a look that shouts "NO."

"Not amused?"

"You have a cocky worm crawling in that brain of yours." Diana snaps.

"Your trash talk is aggressive.." Metal points out. "Maybe you can apply that to the game."

"I thought you liked the social game."

"I do. You need be thrown off."

Diana shakes her head at this bot.

Diana: His mind games suck. It's so obvious to me that he wants me thrown off, that's why I'm not taking the bait. I'll just send it out myself.

.

.

TWO hours in…both have slid down a little lower. There's not much to stand on at all. Diana takes another look at the robot, clawing into the wood. For once, she can see the struggle in him. "You need that aggressiveness you were telling me about."

"My you just LOVE throwing it back at me."

"You need to be thrown off."

Metal lets out a little growl, having his own words used against him. Diana isn't usually THIS petty, but she's letting that flag fly. Metal slowly falls a little lower, but another stab through keeps him on.

"Put competitive players together and this is what you get." Jeff narrates. "But petty? That's even better. Gives me something to talk about."

Sektor turns to the host. "But you have an issue with us fighting back."

"That's a 'you' problem."

The bench laughs at Jeff's dismissal, making Sektor feel worse about the situation. "All this deflection, and…" he stops himself before finishing the thought. There would be plenty of time for him to finish it later because…

.

.

At two and a half hours, Jeff takes a seat WITH the eliminated players. "If it wasn't illegal I'd run to the store."

"Get me a water." Mac says.

"You'd get gassed opening it."

Ooooof. With the way Sektor locks in, he doesn't want Jeff to stop at the cardio. "Go on."

"Mac, you are one of the most human…but alien contestants I've ever met. Who wears a tank top to the boxing ring?" Jeff asks, digging even more.

"I've worn hoodies..and your issue is the top?"

"You just look a little goofy sometimes." Jeff admits, getting laughter from the rest.

Little Mac: It's "all love" and everything, but If Jeff wants to actually feel how this feels, he knows where to find me.

Meanwhile, the top two aren't at their peak anymore. More like the middle, and whoever scrapes themselves off first will go through all this effort, for nothing. Even after all this time, the raw pride of Diana and Metal keeps them alive.

Metal needs that 2-0, and another few days in the game. He's swinging everywhere at this point, and winning the necklace solidifies more chaos.

Diana needs any necklace she can get. She's in a rough spot due to how many challenges she wins, and her reputation is proceeding her even with a better field. Any immunity is good, and she knows it too.

One will walk away with immunity, while the other will walk our disappointed. Neither wants to let go SO much, that players start complaining about how long this is going.

Slade: If I had to sit through eight hours of THIS, I'd leave.

As they start to slip, it becomes apparent of who's about to win. In his last grasp, Metal tries stabbing through the pole itself..and fails. His distance to the sand gets closer, and he meets his end.

"DIANA WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"

She slides down and approaches her fallen rival. "We're one a piece."

"This does not taste good."

"Try losing more often, it'll humble you. It sounds insulting but it's great advice." She answers, heading to the stand to get awarded with yet another immunity necklace.

"Congratulations Diana, you've secured a spot in the top ten. Rest easy knowing you have another few days left in this game." With a pat to her shoulder, Jeff faces the rest of them. "As for the rest of you: get ready for Tribal tonight, where someone will become the first member of our jury. Head back to camp. I'll see you there."

As they walk back, Diana squeezes more airtime from the episode.

Diana: One a piece. If he wants to settle this once and for all, he can come to Themyscira. He won't get another chance on the island. It will be sweet karma sending him home.

Merged Tribe

Day 23

The cast gets back, and that Amazon hangs her necklace on a branch once again. If she keeps this up, she'll reach double digits. Honestly, a very good day for Diana Prince. First, she has more options, then she defeats a rival in another long endurance challenge.

Now? She's making top ten, and has more time for survival.

As for her rival in question, he's dealing with bitterness.

Metal Sonic: If I had a mouth, this would leave a sour taste. Plan A has failed me, but Plan B has sowed more chaos. Things better not get worse from here, for my plan is in motion.

A part of his plan is getting attention on Sektor and Slade. Luckily for him, Gordon's not concerned about Metal for this vote, and instead pulls T'Challa aside to discuss it further. Sektor is an enemy of the Master Chef, but he has more concerns..

"I've cursed Sektor to hell and back. But have we even thought about 'Stroke?" Gordon asks. Little does he know, he's speaking with Slade's #1 Defender.

"Sektor is not only more obnoxious, but a bigger problem for challenges. Slade is all talk. After this, he could be useful." T'Challa declines, putting in both good and bad words in for his ally. "Are YOU sure we should keep Metal in? Cyrax guessed his entire plan at reward."

"Cyrax also agreed on a truce. If he breaks it, to keep his biggest enemy, then war's back on." Gordon states, likely keeping to that promise.

"Will he hold his word?"

"He better. There's no reason Sektor stays." Gordon explains. "Metal is not a god, he can stay a round."

In confessional, Gordon goes into more detail.

Gordon: They act like Metal Sonic has divine f*cking intervention. If he did, I'd have to cover Diana's ass tonight. He's not invincible, and he's not a threat like people say he is. You know what he also isn't? Annoying to live with. We can cut Metal next time for all I care, but I've lost my tolerance with his red puppy.

Comparing Sektor to a loyal dog is wild, but maybe not untrue. Sektor seems to see a lot of himself in Metal, and has stood by his side through thick and thin. Sektor just doesn't gel with empathetic people.

After getting a load of information from Gordon's end, T'Challa decides to share the wealth, and bring Slade into a little cave. He gives Slade the basic rundown of "Gordon says Sektor is bad."

"We're hearing two different stories then." Slade answers, recalling what Cyrax said at reward. "Gordon wants Sektor, Cyrax wants Metal. The losers will take it very well, I'm sure."

"Gordon is not joking around." T'Challa says, stating Gordon's threat verbatim. Slade scoffs at it though. "Was he not threatening enough?"

"Cyrax knows where's the fifth dimension is. Does Ramsay think he'll just let that happen?" Slade asks, being a smartass about the whole thing. "Are you flipping too?"

"Not this time, but I'll pretend you didn't say that. Our good words are working for each other." T'Challa admits. "We're covering this up pretty well."

"Scandalous alliance we have."

"That's what makes it fun." T'Challa gives Slade a genuine smile.

T'Challa: I could never do this in Wakanda. They would NOT approve of someone like a Deathstroke. But they would approve the downfall of someone like Metal. He should not let this get to his head, but it's hard to take the "arrogance" from an arrogant player.

The other cave further down the island is occupied as well. The last two of the Samoa cast are actually strategizing before Tribal. Metal is dipping his claws into everyone's pot. "Sektor leaving is better after all. Better the Angel you know, than the devil you just met."

"I know a lot of devils. Sektor may be the most obnoxious." Diana reads. "He doesn't know if he wants to be logical, or emotional."

"All that talk of humbling. It's ironic. He will receive a humbling in tenfold." Metal adds, looking to bury the hatchet at least once.

"We'll get some peace around here."

Diana: All that talk of humbling, and Metal still doesn't see it coming. Cyrax laid out his entire plan. I'll worry about him next time even IF it upsets my alliance. They still need me. But when it comes to Metal, you will see him make the same mistake he always does. Underestimate us, and pay the price.

The bell may be tolling for Metal, because Cyrax, clocker of his plan, meets with Slade in the woods. He looks to build upon the relationship they started at the reward by including him in the plan.

"Metal's schemes have gone too far. They are so complex to the point, I'm one of the only ones who can catch on." Cyrax admits, pushing the agenda. "I am done with him."

"I was done when he threw my name out." Slade casually brings up. "All he had to do was keep my name out of his mouth."

"He's desperately swinging for the fences. It's time the fences swing back."

Ontop of that quote, Cyrax passes the 40 confessional mark.

Cyrax: Metal may sit at camp, comfortable like the ruler he thinks he is, but even HE a knows that you cannot let off the pedal for a milisecond. Complacency does you no good.

A few castaways like Peach, Slade, and Chun-Li sit at the shelter. Their peace is interrupted when Metal walks up with a stride. "Are we still voting out Sektor?"

"He's buried himself enough." Chun notes.

"It was a matter of time." Metal says, monotone. He decides to join them.

Metal Sonic: They just can't seem to catch me. If Sektor has to be my sacrificial lamb, so be it, I HAVE to play day by day. I'm about to live through another.

Footage pops up of Peach walking down the shore with Chun-Li. "The vote is on Metal right?" the princess asks.

"He doesn't even know it."

"What a relief…" Peach comments, ready to write that "M".

Back to his confessional…

Metal Sonic: This is not even fair. I'm known for complicated plans, how has NOBODY caught on to me?

Cut to Cyrax, with Sackboy on his shoulder. "We are playing along with his scheme."

"I would say that's mean…but Metal will get over it. Right?"

"You are understanding more everyday." Cyrax praises.

Back to Metal's confessional…

Metal Sonic: All of my hard work is paying off. My drama shield is throwing them off. Slade's burying himself too, which saves me TWO votes.

B-Roll plays of Metal chatting with Slade. The second he turns his back, Slade holds up an "O" to the cam.

Metal Sonic: If I win this game, I should be considered the greatest of all-time. Where is my crown?

Tribal Council

Night 23

The eleven players left enter the Tribal Council area for the tenth time. Jury season has come, and they have eight, maybe nine Tribals left until it's all over. Jeff anticipates their arrival, but..something's off. There's a SECOND podium.

Is he taking guests?

When the players walk in to dip their torches..they are met by the sight of Season 3's winner, Sonic the Hedgehog, standing next to Jeff. The winner winks at Metal, who just returns a stare.

"Loosen up, dude."

"Never around you." Metal says, dipping his torch in with intense eye contact.

"Do you ever just take a walk outside and appreciate life?"

"The whimsy is a distraction from my real goals."

Sonic looks at Jeff and shrugs. "I told you that doesn't work on the guy."

The host immediately points to Gordon. "Maybe it'll work on him."

Sonic sets his hands on his hips, looking at the cast that's left. With all the planning, plus Sonic as the special guest, this could be a very chatty Tribal. But why is there a special guest? First, Jeff takes the time to explain what's going on here.

"Alright. Before we get too deep..YES, that's Sonic. He's here because of a small twist we're running. From now on, each Tribal Council will feature a special guest from season's past. It could be a winner, a fan favorite, or even someone who never even got on." Jeff explains. "But if it makes you all feel more comfortable, they aren't allowed to blow up your games, or target you. They'll be thrown out immediately."

Sonic hops on the podium, and kicks his legs back and forth. "I'll do the honors. Hey Gordon."

Gordon runs a hand up his cheek. "You're unpredictable."

"Relax, it's not serious. I just wanted to know what stuff was like after the challenge." Sonic says, surprisingly following the guidelines.

Relief washes over Gordon's face. "I thought you were getting thrown ou—no." Some laughs. "After the challenge, was the most peaceful strategy session we've ever had. I'd say you missed out, but you would have added to the chaos."

"Sounds fun, shame this wasn't a full All-Stars." Sonic gives Jeff some quick sideye. "But that sounds like hell for someone like you. Who was causing the chaos?"

"You remember those Black Dragon blokes?" Gordon asks.

"Oh yeah, not shocked at all." Sonic says flatly. "Anyone else?"

"Dark Samus." Gordon adds.

"She seemed creepy." One nod confirms it to the hedgehog. "Sounds like your crew had it tough."

Sektor shakes his head, butting in. "You would despise Hathuru's run. It was loss after loss, no matter where we swapped. The stress would destroy your mood."

"Eh, it's pretty hard to do that. I've got a mountain full of trauma." Sonic admits. "But you were just fine after all of that?"

"There are times where my emotions come out, and they cannot be stopped regardless of my programming. It is frustrating to deal with, and Hathuru exploited it." Sektor responds. "I have been under constant attack, and regardless of who's fault it is, the attack will continue."

Sonic tilts his head when he sees Diana. "Coming for the record?"

"I've already broken it." Diana's coldness gets an "ooooh" from the cast.

"There IS some satisfaction in losing.." Metal adds, rubbing it in to Sonic more.

Sonic laughs through any potential pain his ego has. "Ok, ok. I'll remember that. But I was gonna ask: how's it feel to be in a group without Shane?"

That puts a smirk on Diana. "It's relaxing to be around people who don't take everything personally. I said it years ago, I don't like bullies, and Shane had bully tendencies."

"He still has them." Sektor adds, agreeing with her for once. "Nefarious had a mouthful."

"Thanks for taking them out."

Sektor just sits there, stunned. "Did you just…thank me?"

"You did both of us a service. Trust me." Diana is merciless tonight, and everyone notices. She never vibed with the likes of those early boots. Screaming in her face, or being rude for no reason, does no good. Maybe in her mind it's warranted, because both Shane and Nefarious didn't learn much.

Anyways, Sonic leans back just like Jeff does, and focuses on Mac. "Mac..it's been a while. Chef talked about how the Black Dragon came back to rain hell on everything. Has anyone been raining on people's parades?"

Mac gives Slade a glance. "After Li Mei left, Slade was being pretty mean about it. T'Challa called him on it before I could give him an earful."

All eyes on Slade now. "You should know that I will say what's on my mind, even when people don't like it. It's made me an enemy before, but there's so much of that going on that I think I am saner now than before."

"People do like you more, it's just that you need to cut the rudeness off to win." Mac critiques. "Douchebags don't win this game."

Jeff and Sonic lean in. The actual host of the show jumps in. "Mac just called you a douche. Is it maybe a sign that the people are turning on you?"

"Mac is not a threat to the island because he spoke out." Slade being..reasonable? "As boring of an answer as this is, he can say whatever he wants, and I will continue to say whatever I want. It's a part of being human."

"But do the rest think it?" Sonic asks.

"I don't care. You're instigating." His bluntness actually gets a couple people to chuckle. Sonic just shrugs it off.

"You got me."

Jeff steps back in for control. "So it's looking like Slade and Sektor could be going home tonight. What's interesting is that there's always a third or fourth option floating around, so what you think could be set in stone, actually isn't."

"You could pull off a sick swerve." Sonic adds. "But I've been in those seats before, and I know a lot of you like to say nothing, sooo do we wanna vote? Show of hands."

Literally everyone raises their hands.

"Ok you heard 'em, Jeff."

Jeff shakes his head. His power has already been overrun, but he copes with it. He chose this twist, he'll see it through. "Maybe we'll need more deadlines…but it is time to vote. Gordon, you're up first."

The chef heads to the booth, sticking to his guns.

Gordon: Go away. (Sektor)

Mac: All that crap you talked, is coming back to get you. (Slade)

Cyrax: You are not running this game. You are not in everyone's pockets. You should see this coming from miles away. I am glad you don't. (Metal Sonic)

After him, Diana is in next.

Diana: I have been waiting a long time to write your name down. Can't let you live another day. (?)

Lastly, Metal walks in with a name ready.

Metal Sonic: I have carried you this far. It's time to let you go. A special piece of advice for YOU: Listen to criticism. You were doing well before we merged, but all of a sudden you lost all the lessons I taught you. You must have thought you were better than me. THAT is why you will be leaving tonight. Too confident. (Sektor)

After voting's over with, the cast heads back to their stumps. Metal gives Sonic an unnecessary dirty look before taking his seat. Sonic exhales. "Guy can hold a grudge."

Once they're seated: it's that time. "I'll go tally the votes.." Jeff heads for the booth, ready to reveal the fates of these people. People may love their villains, but they'll have to watch one die tonight. May sound dramatic to someone it doesn't affect, but these people have had to grind to get here. Now someone will have to feel like the grind meant nothing.

Jeff returns with the urn. "If anyone has a hidden immunity idol, OR advantage they'd like to play, now would be the time to do so."

.

.

.

Nothing.

"I'll read the votes."

Metal rubs his hands together, confident of his master plan. Sektor just stares a burning hole through Jeff, and the host actively looks away from him. None of that, please. Eventually the parchments all ordered up, and they are ready to go..

"First vote…"

.

.

"Sektor."

.

.

"Slade."

He looks at Mac immediately. "Understood."

"Hate the game, man." Mac responds, looking back at Jeff.

"Slade." Jeff reveals. The mercenary shakes his head. Imagine the feeling he'll have if all the work he did to branch out, collapses.

.

.

"Sektor."

.

.

"Sektor."

That cyborg turns right to Metal. "Surely you would not repeat his mistake."

Metal says nothing.

"Coward."

.

.

"Metal Sonic."

Metal's eyes have movement for once. They go from a couple circles, to a couple ovals. Sektor decides to talk to him like dirt. "My calculations say you screwed yourself."

"Silence."

"Couldn't turn the people against me, could you?"

Jeff goes slower to let their hostility continue. Metal and Sektor never really argued over anything, but now that the cards have been shown, Sektor knows Metal was afoot. "Metal Sonic. That's three votes Sektor, two votes Slade, two votes Metal. Four votes left.."

Metal hisses so hard, they could swear venom's in him.

"Metal Sonic."

Sektor leans back to look Slade in the eyes. "Can you believe his plot?"

"I can't believe you're still talking. Metal's going to kill you."

"I cannot be killed. There will always be a reboot."

Slade ALMOST cracks at that. Almost. T'Challa stares at him, in an effort to break him, but Slade doesn't corpse. That's NOT how Metal's reacting, seething at his ruined plan, and their reactions.

"Metal Sonic." Jeff reads. "That's four votes Metal, three votes Sektor, two votes Slade..TWO votes left."

Metal's not the only one who's pissed. Gordon leans towards T'Challa and Mac, side by side. "Who the hell flipped?" Before they can answer, Diana taps him.

"It was me."

"Why?"

"I'll tell you later."

Gordon looks dumbfounded. "O..k."

Jeff looks at the last two parchments with finality. After three weeks, the bounty on Metal Sonic's head will finally be collected. Metal's already getting to his feet. It's over.

"Tenth person voted out, and the first member of our jury: Metal Sonic."

#Blindside

He speedwalks past the top ten, but comes to an abrupt stop when he catches Sonic smirking. Sonic could just be smirking because of the blindside he just saw, but Metal choose to take it personally instead. "Don't smile at me, rodent."

"Awww. You're just like your dad."

Metal practically stabs his torch into the ground. Jeff looks at him unamused. "Be careful where you aim that."

"…."

Jeff raises the snuffer. "Metal Sonic, the tribe has spoken."

WOOOSHH….

"Time for you to go."

Metal turns around. "Even though you've upset me…whoever orchestrated that, will have my vote. I don't reward pacifists." That's all he wrote because he just walks out. Those are the last words he'll say to them until it's time to speak at finale night.

With his departure, there is more coming out. Gordon looks Cyrax in the eyes. "Got a snake in you?"

"You would do the same."

Gordon tilts his head. "Fair enough."

Jeff faces the top ten, with some final words before they leave. "This game has shown us that you can rise and fall, all in a day. You should never feel comfortable. Head back to camp. Good night."

As the cast heads out, Peach of all people has a triumphant smile. She walks next to T'Challa, who shares the same. "We finally got him.."

"They would be so proud."

After losing her allies at Hathuru, Peach could not be any happier. The source of her pain has been removed. Not everyone feels as triumphant as she does. Diana has to explain herself, Season Four Peach need to find out what's next, and not to mention, Sektor is basically a free agent now. Changes are a-comin', and who really knows who benefits.

All that and more, in the next episode.

Metal Sonic's Final Words

Metal Sonic: ..All that talk of "humbling". Someone must have caught onto my plan, because with all the set up, and all the deals I made, there is no reason Sektor should stay, unless someone caught me.

He squints. His fists ball, but he ultimately keeps them at his legs.

Metal Sonic: I spent all this time outrunning this fate, and yet here I am. First member of the jury. They could not let me anywhere close to the finale. They HAD to get rid of me in front of my mortal enemy. On one hand, I am impressed someone caught onto my plan, but on the other hand, this was the WORST Tribal to blindside me. I feel even worse than before…

Don't let a certain someone hear that word.

Voting (6-3-2):

Metal Sonic— Cyrax, Chun-Li, Sackboy, Peach, Diana, and Slade

There goes Metal Sonic, who was a massive character on this season. He was responsible for a flip, a betrayal, and a tiebreaker. He didn't even stop at the merge, using his immunity idol to save his "drama shield" and take out a smaller target. Metal could have made another run, BUT was stopped by the fact that these players are returnees. Someone like Cyrax would guess the plan, because he knew Sektor didn't have an idol. All it takes is one giant info-dump to turn the tables on someone. Metal was NOT getting away with it this time.

Next episode will see an island life without Metal, and drama along with it. Gordon was just betrayed too, and surely he'll take it well. Will he repeat what Shane did in Samoa? Who knows. There's all that, and some more on the next episode. Stay tuned as Days 24, 25, and 26 drop over the next couple of months. Bye bye :D
