Normal P.V. with Humphrey

Humphrey: It had been quite a few minutes and all the alphas were ready to receive the enemy at the edge of the border, I was traveling attentively, to give the order as soon as I identified the enemy, at that moment I could see a small group of what looked like wolves, but looking at them closely, they were quite disfigured and in front was the mysterious wolf that attacked us before, "Everyone prepare" I ordered

All the wolves nodded and got into a defensive position

Humphrey: At that moment I could see two more groups in the distance trying to surround us, "They want to do a pincer attack, Dian, Kod take care of the group on the left, Ted, Julian, you guys take the one on the right, Garth stay in the rear, you'll support me with those coming from the front" I ordered

The wolves nodded and divided as ordered

Garth: "You can't face them alone," I said seriously

Humphrey: "I know, as long as that wolf is leading them, I won't be able to face the others, so it will be your duty to support me and prevent anyone from intervening in our fight, once I finish him off, I can support you with the others" I said seriously

Garth: I was surprised at how quickly he admitted it, which means that wolf is a real monster, "Don't worry, we won't let anyone intervene" I said nodding

Humphrey: "Thanks and try not to die, there are several I couldn't bring back, including you" I said

Garth: "I know and don't worry, none of us plan to die today" I said confidently

Humphrey: "I hope so" I said smiling, then I got into an attack position and as soon as that wolf was close enough, I activated the hyper potential and received him with a tremendous blow to the face which sent him flying backwards colliding with several of his wolves in the process

Lind: "It seems you don't beat around the bush, father," I said as I stood up and spat blood to the side

Humphrey: I wasted no time and attacked him again

Lind: I couldn't react and I received the blow squarely on my jaw, which sent me a couple of meters into the air, but I managed to land on my feet, "I'll have to be serious," I said to myself as I activated the maximum potential

Humphrey: "I must finish him off as soon as possible, if I give him time he will continue to learn and become stronger" I thought as I prepared my claws to cut his neck

Lind: I managed to block his attack and said to him, "You seem to be in a hurry to finish this fight, father"

Humphrey: "Don't call me that," I said angrily as I hit him with my other paw to make him back off, "If you had come alone, I would have given you an honorable rematch, but since you dared to lead an army against my home, I will kill you immediately," I said seriously and annoyed

Lind: "This is not how I wanted to end our fight either, but I have to follow orders anyway," I said, frustrated and annoyed

Humphrey: That caught my attention, if there was someone behind this wolf and this attack, I must know who it is and stop it once and for all, "Who gave you those orders?" I asked seriously

Lind: "It's not worth it for me to tell you, anyway, I'll kill you right here" I said seriously while attacking him with all my strength

As the fight between Humphrey and Lind raged on, Garth's team was barely able to hold off the other failed experiments

Garth: These things are really strong monsters, we had to synchronize ourselves very well in order to hold them back, but if we don't do something soon, they will end up overwhelming us, "Hold on, we must not let them interrupt Humphrey's fight" I said seriously to all the alphas

The alphas nodded, but there was concern on their faces

Garth: "I hope everyone else is doing better" I thought worriedly

Meanwhile Andrea had already met Kate and was surprised to see her

Andrea: "I see why Humphrey told me something was wrong with you," I said, surprised

Luz: "I know it's surprising, but believe me, I wouldn't have done this without a good reason," I said

Andrea: "I believe you" I said nodding, but at that moment I heard something, "It seems that the battle has already begun" I said seriously

Luz: "It seems so" I said while looking in the same direction, Kate's senses are certainly impressive

Andrea: "You will have to explain to me in detail what happened, but for now let's concentrate, I can't let my guard down" I said seriously

Luz: "I agree" I said nodding as I helped her keep watch

Meanwhile, with Estrella, Esperanza, Silver and Tristan, they were looking for their brothers in the cave, most of the omegas and puppies were already there

Estrella: While I was looking for my brothers, I was able to recognize one who was talking to other puppies, "Brother" I called as I approached

Reiz: "Sister, I'm glad you're okay," I said, relieved

Estrella: "I say the same thing, we were looking for you" I said relieved

Reiz: "Are our other brothers here too?" I asked

Estrella: "Everyone except Nova, have you seen it?" I asked

Reiz: "We were playing when it all started. He said he would look for Katie and come to the cave," I said

Estrella: "It's so typical of he, but I hope he comes soon" I said with some concern

Reiz: "I hope so too," I said, nodding. "Should we tell Mom?" I asked

Estrella: Think for a moment before saying, "I think that would be the best thing to do"

Reiz: "Let's go" I said hurriedly before running off to where Mom and my aunt Andrea were

Andrea: "What are you doing out here? You should stay inside the cave," I asked them in a serious tone

Reiz: "We have something to tell you" I said

Luz: "Can't it wait until later? It's not the best time," I asked

Reiz: I shook my head and said, "It's about Nova, she went to look for Katie and she hasn't come back yet"

Luz: "Oh no, I have to look for him" I said worried

Andrea: I stopped her and said, "You stay and watch, I'll go get him"

Luz: I thought for a moment and said, "Okay, I'll leave it to you"

Andrea: I nodded and said, "I won't be long," then ran off looking for Nova's trail

Back with the battle, the alphas were managing to pressure the attackers from the sides, their numerical superiority and coordination was much better, so they had managed to finish off a third of the enemy force, having minimal casualties

A bear was giving the report to Arthur who watched from the top of a nearby hill how the fights were taking place

Arturo: "They are stronger and more organized than we anticipated" I thought worriedly, the idea was to overwhelm them from the sides while the main team advanced through the center, but all the fronts had resisted quite a bit, they were even pushing back our lateral forces, "How many forces have we lost?" I asked seriously

"I don't have an exact number, but I estimate between 30 and 60 troops" the wolf reported

Arturo: I made a face of annoyance and said, "I didn't expect to have to resort to this, but order the slaves to enter the battle as well and use them as cannon fodder and living shields"

"Right away, sir," said the bear before leaving

Arturo: I was hoping not to have to resort to that, it would significantly affect our ability to work in our territory, but it is a sacrifice that must be made for victory

Back with Humphrey and Lind

Lind: I was beginning to feel the ravages of maximum potential in my body, but I had to beat my father no matter what, I must prove that I am the best

Humphrey: I was starting to get tired; it's been a while since I had to use hyper potential for so long, "I shouldn't have neglected my training" I thought annoyed, I knew I had to finish this as soon as possible, otherwise I would be at a serious disadvantage

So, both continued fighting with great fury and intensity

Meanwhile in the battle the alphas were pushing back the enemies until they began to see several wolves appear, which were not so strong, but were used as shields by the other animals

"What do we do sir? It seems they are using their slaves to cover themselves so they can regroup," asked a worried alpha

Dilan: I thought for a moment before sighing and saying to myself, "Humphrey will probably hate me for this, but I must prioritize the lives of my alphas," then I said to the wolf, "If you have the opportunity to rescue them, do so, but prioritize your safety and the defeat of the enemies, so it is allowed to kill them if necessary"

"I already communicate your orders" said the alpha before leaving

Shortly after the order was given, the fields began to turn red due to the large number of deaths that were accumulating. Even though the alphas tried to rescue as many slaves as they could, it was inevitable that they would have to kill several, either because their desperation made them attack or because the enemy used them as a distraction to be able to counterattack, so they could not hesitate and had to focus on the real enemies

Meanwhile with Nova

Nova: I was desperately looking for Katie, I knew that the longer we delayed returning, the more dangerous it would be. After a while and with a lot of effort, I was able to find her trail. When I followed it, I could see her in the distance. I started to run towards her, but as I got closer, I could see that she was not alone. I quickly hid and approached her stealthily, since I did not recognize the wolf, she was talking to

Katie: "I've done my part, now let my parents go" I said seriously

"There was a change of plans," said the wolf coldly

Katie: "What do you mean? You promised," I said, annoyed

"Shut up, be thankful I didn't kill you," the wolf said seriously as he pushed her aside

Katie: I couldn't take it anymore and I started crying, I had to betray the wolves that took me in and all for nothing

Nova: I was very upset when I saw how they pushed Katie, so I went out and angrily yelled at them, "How dare you push her?"

The wolf looked at Nova and smiled coldly and said, "Well, look who we have here, one of Humphrey's pups"

Nova: "How do you know that?" I asked a little scared

Katie: "Please don't hurt him" I begged

"We know everything about your father and your family, your little friend told us everything" said the wolf coldly as he approached

Nova: "That's not possible, she would never do that" I said seriously

Katie: Look at the floor with sadness and shame

"He made a deal with us, in exchange for information about you, we would let your parents live a little longer" explained the wolf

Katie: "I'm sorry, I had no choice" I said sadly and embarrassed

Nova: "Did you just use us?" I asked with great sadness

Katie: "It's not like that, I really appreciate you guys, but they would kill my parents if I didn't help them" I tried to explain

"That doesn't matter, Doc will surely start me over if I bring one of Humphrey's pups to experiment on" the wolf said while smiling evilly and approaching Nova

Nova: I was worried when I saw that wolf approaching me, but I decided not to back down and face him, "I'm not afraid of you" I said seriously

Katie: "Please don't hurt him" I asked the wolf while biting his tail to try to stop him

"Don't bother me" the wolf said angrily as he kicked her away

Nova: "Damn it" I said angrily as I ran and bit him on one of his paws

The wolf just laughed as he lifted the paw that was biting him, "How pathetic" he said before giving him a hard blow to the stomach

Nova: I was left breathless by the blow and was left lying on the ground while holding my stomach in pain

"I was expecting more from some of Humphrey's pups, but you're too weak," the wolf said with a sigh as he picked him up and prepared to return to his territory, but at that moment he received a strong blow to the face that made him release Nova and take several steps back

Andrea: "Don't touch my nephew" I said angrily

"Damn, that hit really hurt," said the sore wolf as he stood up

Andrea: "Stay behind me" I said to the puppies

Katie: I tried to help Nova, but he didn't want to accept my help and managed to limp behind Andrea, I sighed sadly, I knew I deserved this treatment

When the wolf got up, he realized that he was facing Andrea, which made him hesitate a little, "It had to be her" he thought worriedly

Andrea: "Are you okay?" I asked

Nova: "My pride and confidence were destroyed, but otherwise I'm not so bad" I said still with sadness and anger

Andrea: "Don't worry, I'll make this bastard pay" I said seriously while I got into an attack position

The wolf growled in annoyance, "I was hoping to earn a nice reward, but taking that pup will be nearly impossible with her here, so I better go," he said to himself before turning around and running away

Andrea: I saw him run off and I was going to chase him, when I immediately remembered the puppies and that I couldn't leave them alone, "Damn coward" I growled with annoyance before turning around and seeing the puppies, "Come on, we have to go back to the shelter" I said

Nova: "Okay," I said, nodding

Andrea: "Can you walk?" I asked

Nova: "It was just a blow, I'm not so weak that I can't walk after that" I said while doing my best to compose myself

Katie: "I'm fine, it was nothing serious," I said in a quieter voice

Andrea: "Okay, let's go" I said while gesturing for them to walk, personally it was preferable for them to walk, that way I could be more aware of the surroundings and I could fight more calmly in case more enemies appeared

The pups nodded and the three of them walked back to the cave we used as shelter

Luz: When I saw Andrea return with Nova and Katie, I let out a sigh of relief, "I'm glad you found them" I said happily

Andrea: "They almost didn't tell; an enemy wolf had found them" I said

Luz: "I see, how lucky you were on time" I said nodding then I looked at the puppies and said seriously, "You must have come here as soon as you heard the call"

Nova: "I'm sorry, Mom," I said, still sadly. I looked at Katie for a moment and said to my mother, "There's something I need to tell you"
