Chapter 4 Dungeons and Dementors

Harry Potter was now running from the skeletons, he cursed himself for the mistake

Harry was peaking around the rundown buildings to gather the information on the mobs he got closer to the Graveyard till he can make sense of the matter on the screen,

He noticed all the skeletons were about the same level, Skeletons were just Level 10 to Level 15 and their Hp was also low, only one thing that was stopping him to tear them a part was his skillset,
After absorbing the first 2 years textbooks, his theoretical knowledge was high enough to recall everything even in his sleep, but his practical knowledge was lacking, to gain experience he need to cast spells repeatedly to gain experience in the spell, so was conflicted what spells should he use
There are many spells that could do the job, even third year spell such as 'Lumos Maxima' could blind them for few seconds and a well-placed Diffindo or Bombardment spell could do it, even though he has few problems controling Bombardment spell, it had done a wide-area damage and far more damage than the book indicated it would be capable of, but in this situation, it would help him defeat the monsters
He was decided to use the bombardment spell and was going to prepare to fire it, but before he was could do anything he stepped on the twig and snapped it, that gained the attention of the Skeletons and they rushed at him

Harry gained the enough distance away from the skeletons he pointed his hand at the skeleton and casted 'Incendio' then a 2 fireballs appeared before his hands and blasted towards the closest skeletons and burned them, it would usually just burn the skeletons reducing their HP, if it was casted by a normal Wizard, but Harry was far from a normal Wizard, his magic which gained the core of Fire Phoenix and Basilisk Quean core, his magic was far more potent, his fire magic in particular was far greater than any due to the Fire Phoenix, so the blast obliterated the Skeletons fire hit it stopped the Skeletons march on him,
Harry took in a sharp breath he never imagined the power of the spell to be that powerful, he noticed there was a 'I' symbol on his right bottom corner of the HUD, he selected it and found

Harry used 'pause' immediately and opened the inventory, there was usual his mannequin on Left side and distinct grid boxes for the items on top left corner there was indication of his money on right top corner there was 2 more tabs appeared with names 'Skill Set Library' and 'Loot inventory', when selected 'Loot Inventory' there was a notification
{all Items would be transferred to Main Inventory after exiting the Instance/Dungeon}
He closed the notification and saw there was few bones and a short sword and one more sword that was with small crack and a box with Gold and another box with silver, he ignored the gold and silver for now and he took out both swords and saw

He gripped both swords then he got error notification that his Sword Wielding was not high enough to Dual Wielding, he sighed and equipped common short sword, he gave few slashes and he noticed he could cast only from other hand, he shrugged and used 'Resume'
Immediately he was dragged back to his position before Pause also the sword returned to the 'Inventory', he cursed and equipped the sword, and raised his sword just in time to block the down word slash from another Skeleton, and pointed his hand at the skeletons and shouted 'Depulso Maxima'
He used a maximized banishing charm all nearby Skeletons blasted away, he saw few more Skeletons dissolved into ashes, he learned that maximize magic was difficult because it would take more power than usual to multiply the output of the spell, then there was a ping

Harry smiled, and ran at the Skeletons and started to swing his sword, he was not making a much damage when he used his magic but his sword Wielding was gaining EXP, although the skeletons not giving him that much trouble anyway, even though the gamer said they were at level 10 to 15 their bones were quite weak, so every swing was defeating the Skeleton
After Almost 1 hour, Harry was exhausted by dodging, ducking and running all over the place, his Hand was also aching because he was swinging for last hour, he defeated 6 waves by now, he noticed each wave was taking long time and every time the monsters shrinking but they were getting powerful than the previous wave, he noticed there was few notifications he hasn't read yet, he opened the tab

He grinned and opened the loot and found few common grade short swords he found pair of weapons he wasn't expecting

He placed his used sword on the ground its Durability was almost gone he was not surprised the sword shattered soon his sword tip touched the ground,
He shook his head and gripped both hilts of the swords he can feal his magic covering the sword as well,
He nodded and noticed 25 more skeletons started to dug out of the grave, he looked at the Quest to see how many he defeated he noticed first objective was 400/500, he sighed 'yes, this is going to be a very long DAY' he thought to himself, and observed the levels the strongest level was 18 and weakest level was 10, he rushed at them and slashed using two swords in 'X' formation that was enforced by magic it cleared the 10 Skeletons in one go
It took only few minutes to clear the first objective, then there was a rumble all the 500 scattered skeletons started to merge and forming a ball of bones, there was a feeling of dread around the mass, Harry wanted to run and hide and he felt like he was going to die any moment, then
{Gamer's Mind Activated}
All the feeling of dread and despair were dulled it hasn't gone, it was there but it was 'muted' in a way of speaking, he looked at the figure emerging from the mass they stood 2 meters tall with a crooked body. It is equipped with a rippled Sword and a huge Shield. They are looked upon as huge creatures equipped with armour made of black metal with red bloodlines engraved on it (AN: Just imagine the Death Knights from Overlord) he read the screen hung above the monster

He gulped and looked at the Death Knight and filled with dread returned again, his Gamer's Mind activated again and he gripped both Ninja-to hard, and rushed at the giant skeleton undead monster, he slashed at its legs, but it swung him away using its shield

He grimaced he might not physically damaged but it still hurts, he stood up but noticed the Death Knight was not moving at him, it was looking at him and '… is it taunting me to attack it' he thought, he felt the urge to run at it and attack it

He sighed but then it roared and start to move towards him, he gripped his swords hard and ran at the monster and jumped a few meters away from the monster, he noticed it raised its shield and he smirked, he landed on top of the shield and slashed at its head and penetrated the swords deep into its neck and another into its hollow eye, and grinned, "Eat this 'Incendio Maxima'" he shouted and with 2 huge blast Harry was launched away and hit the building near him

After the dust cleared, he saw the monster still standing but its head was melted, its HP was almost gone, he wanted to rush at the monster and finish it,
But at that moment there was a chill ran his spine and everything was started to froze around him, he noticed the monster was convulsing and throw its Shield at Harry, He had only few seconds to dodge the shield and noticed the Death Knight was close to him,
Harry pointed his sword at the monster and shouted 'Flipendo Maxima' he got only a short respite as it moved only few feet away from him, it was too heavy but it was enough time for what he done next
Harry plunged his right sword into the gut and shouted 'Flamma Sanctus' he doesn't know where the knowledge of the spell came from but then there was a golden flame, immediately Death Knight screamed and it glowed with golden light and disintegrated,

Then he heard the sword shattering sound and found the sword he used to cast the blade of the sword shattered and there was a crack on the other sword
"I need to find a stable sword" he mumbled, he opened the 'shop' to buy the HP, MP and SP restoration potions and drank them, he sat on the floor and took a breath, after few moments there was an alert
{Alert: The Boss monster was about to spawn}
He noticed everything was freezing, he noticed there was thin sheet of icing and he heard a scream of a women and felt the feeling of dread and despair he was hoping his Gamer's Mind activate again then he heard a notification
{Gamer's Mind: Failed}
Harry cursed as the feeling intensified, and he starting to see the Voldemort confronting a woman with red hair and heard a scream, he blinked and blinked again, and he found himself Infront of what looked like a dementor, he looked at the screen to conform

It was about to grab his head to kiss him, he stepped back and tripped, he remembered the Patronus charm, he tried to recall the process of the casting the charm,
He tried to recall the good memories to fuel the Patronus, he used the memory of Hermione hugging him after she revived from the petrification, and casted "Expecto Patronum" he shouted, as before there was a gush of the silver fog and formed a shield around him, he noticed the dementor was just hovering over the shield, he recalled what was he missing, he remembered the note mentioned in the [Patronus] notification
{Note: the memory used was not strong enough to conjure Corporeal [Patronus] Charm, please use stronger memory with the positive emotions of feeling such as love etc}
'There was one memory, one memory I could use' he thought, he closed his eyes and brought up the memory, it was about [The Mirror of Erased] from the first year,
he remembered the mirror it showed his parents after few moments there was two men in shadows stood beside his parents, after a second there was another couple a man looked like his father but he was older, and the women was beautiful with dark hair and hazel eyes they was smiling at him with the most loving expression, his grandparents,
after them another figure appeared in the mirror her face was blurred but he can only notice her brown hair, she came to him and took his hand and squeezed it, Harry in the mirror smiled at him, he opened his eyes his body filled with the love of his parents grandparents and everyone he loved and pointed his hand at Dementor and shouted "EXPECTO PATRONUM"
There was a huge gust of wind and golden and silvery mist exited his palm the glob started to form a four-legged animal with golden antlers, it was a Stagg, it stomped on the ground and rushed at the Dementor and impaled the dementor with its golden antlers repeatedly, after few moments the Patronus stopped its attack, there was nothing but just the cloak of the dementor, it glowed for a bit and shifted to dark hooded robe with golden highlights that could cover the whole body

He closed all the tabs, Then the world around him started to glow and slowly faded, with a POP he appeared few feet above the bed and, he fell on the bed, then he heard a shocked gasp, he was on his feet immediately and looked around, and found Nymphadora Tonks staring at him with startled look on her face
"What the hell was that? and where did you come from" she shouted; Harry winced
"The question should be, what exactly are you doing in my room?" Harry asked
"Oh, I was waiting for you in the diner but you never came for the breakfast, so I came to check on you, and the door was unlocked, so I entered and you popped into the room" she said, Harry groaned
"I don't know what you were talking about" Harry said with a deadpan voice, she grabbed his shoulders and shook him
"You shouldn't lie to an Auror Mr Potter" she said
"You were not the Auror yet, you were still a Trainee" Harry said
"Mah tomato tamato, and don't try to distract, how did you learn the Apparition" she asked again
"I don't know what you were talking about" Harry said again with same deadpan voice

He scowled internally, and activated his newly acquired ability and maintained his Poker face well, her eyes twitches after few moments she sighed
"Fine, I am to be your protection, so don't leave without informing me" she said
"Hmm, to be honest you haven't introduced yourself properly" Harry said, Tonks eye twitch again
"Fine, I am Tonks just Tonks" she said
"So how did you get the 'She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named' title any way" Harry asked, Tonks bonked him
"don't call me that, Weasley Twins used my first name repeatedly for a week when, so I reversed all the pranks they planned on them, so they came up with that ridiculous moniker" she scowled, then she heard a snicker when he looked at him with a glare, he has his poker face back again
"Fine Tonks, do you know anything about the Sirius Black" he asked her, he noticed all her joviality faded and she looked out of the window,
"He fooled many people, everyone think he was totally against the You-Know-Who and his death eaters, he even fought his brother who took the Dark Mark openly and broke his arm once, but it looks like it was all for the show, you know I personally know that man when I was little, he often visited my parents" she said, Harry looked at her confused
"My mother was the 'disgraced' sister of the 3 black sisters, I was 6 years old when he visited once, he brought you with him and you parents came as well" he looked at her with surprise, she smiled
"You know I attended your 1st birthday party as well; he gifted you a kid's broom, you jumped on it from your mother's arms you flew even before you started walking, you performed a perfect cork screw dive, and crashed into the ginger cat, its face squashed at the impact, your mother turned Sirius into the feather less duck for over Half hour" Harry laughed at it, again she sobered and continued
"When my mother heard that he was arrested for betraying your parents, she didn't believe that, at first she tried to get the trail transcript of Sirius Black, but as she was the disowned from the prominent family her standing was lower than the Muggleborn, even now she was convened that he would not betray Potters" she shook her head
"Now Harry, don't try the apparition again it was very dangerous, you could have injured heavily or even dead if you splinched" she said, He wanted to say that was not he was doing but he stopped and just nodded, he wanted to share about the Gamer and invite few members to 'party' but, he met her just few days ago she might think he was a looney, he sighed
"Now let's go and eat your breakfast" she said, Harry nodded and followed her down and to get some breakfast, and that day went normally he reading his ancient runes text and Arithmancy text
3 days later
For past few days Harry wandering around the Alley by transforming using his Metamorphmagus ability, he tried to escape Tonks but she always found him out, he completed his homework, now he has the enough theory comprehension on the subjects, it was easy to complete the work he was assigned
he received the letter from Hermione saying that she was returning from France on 28th August, and we could buy her supplies and he had a surprise for her, he hadn't said anything about him changing the electives to Hermione and Ron, he know Ron going to throw a temper tantrum, he sighed at that moment there was a Pop
In front of him stood a female house elf wearing a toga with a crest depicting a Shield in the center of the shield it had a wand and a sword in 'X' shape and there was a Thestral and Griffin holding the Shield with 'POTTER' on the banner below the crest
"Mispy be here to serve Young Master Harry Potter" she said in a dignified high pitch voice
"So Mispy you were the potter family elf huh" Harry asked
"Yes, Master Mispy was in Potter family for over 300 years" she said with proud voice and he noticed there was a hint of sadness too
"300 years?" He choaked
"Yes Master Harry, my mate be the Head-Elf till he 3 years ago, he deceased because of the lack of magic, now I be the " she said with a sad smile
"What do you mean" Harry asked
