Chapter 7 Familiar and Memories

"Now, let's see would you like to enter Dungeon with me to Level Up" Harry asked
"I... Its better we complete our school shopping first, so we have enough time afterward, also we could add Ron as well" she said
"Then let's go and get our things, according to Ron, Weasleys would return from their trip tomorrow" Harry said
"Well, I am staying in Leaky Cauldron Today and Tomorrow" she said and exited the room and Harry followed her, on instinct he morphed his hair from Black to Blond and entered the Diagon Alley, Harry showed her all the shops he visited over the summer break, when they reached Magical Menagerie where they sell magical creatures and familiars for the witches and wizards Hermione stopped and looked at the shop oddly
"What is it" Harry asked holding her hand
"I don't know there is something" she said, Harry looked at the shop
"Maybe your Familiar was calling you" Harry said, Hermione shrugged and opened the Menagerie's door and entered Harry followed her in
They walked around and nothing happened, she was disappointed and about to exit then there was the same feeling again, when turned around she found a ginger half-kneazle with a squashed face, he approached her and nuzzled into her leg, and glared at him for a moment and also nuzzled with him as well, he picked up the cat then there was a memory when he touched the cat
It was his 1st birth day, he was in his Father's arm and surrounding him were 3 men, one has few scars on his face his father called him 'Moony', one has the face of rat and large front teeth he was called 'Wormtail', and there was handsome looking man with dark hair and grey eyes looking at him with full of love and he presented him with a large package in his hand, he noticed his mother was looking at the men's antics with amusement, there was the same cat in his mother's hand and she placed the cat on the floor and approached them
"Sirius Orion Black, that would better not be what I am thinking" she said looked at the Dark hair man, who was looking at his father who looked away, he looked around for any support from others, no one came to his defence
"Uh Lily, please show some mercy" Sirius begged, she scowled
"If Harry was injured in any way, you will be very sorry" she said with a scowl, he relaxed and opened the gift and presented it to him, it was a broom, no it was not the real broom it was miniaturized it was like a kid's broom
"this was an excellent kids training broom" Sirius Black said with a smile, Harry was excited as he already went on rides with his father, Harry jumped suddenly from his father's arms and landed on the broom and flew away with all the speed the training broom can move,
Harry felt the excitement coming from the baby, everyone scrambled to catch the baby, Harry dodged the attempts of his father, Sirius and Lily to stop him, Harry maneuvered his broom around the tables and chairs located in the huge ball room laughing hardly, after few moments he took a dive, and suddenly he was in direct collision with his mother's cat and collided with the cat and by result the face of the cat was squashed and he was knocked unconscious,
Harry blinked he noticed someone calling his name, also there was tears in his eyes, this was the first time he remembered the clear memory of his parents, he can feel the love from Sirius, James, Lily and the other man they called moony, they all loved him and them someone shook him suddenly
"Harry!" Hermione shook him, Harry blinked again and wiped his eyes, and he noticed the cat in his hand, Harry hugged the cat sill tears falling from his eyes
"Harry, are you alright" she asked him with concern
"Yes Mione, I am fine" he said and then he noticed there was a screen above the cat

Harry smiled, he knows she would take care of his mother's cat, Harry handed the smiled and handed the cat to Hermione
"Mione, He was once my mother's Familiar, now he has chosen you take care of him" Harry said with smile and approached the counter when they reached the counter the assistant noticed the cat was carried to the counter, the assistant casted the spell at cat, a small chain appeared connecting Hermione's hand and Crookshanks paw
"What was this" Hermione asked
"This was the spell that would show if the magical creatures were the familiars or not, this cat never approached any customer and if anyone tried to pick him, he would scratch them till they walk away, when you brought him while carrying him, I suspected a Familiar Bond, we can't actually sell the Familiar after completing the bond, so he is yours to take" the assistant of the shop said, Harry bought the cat carrier and food any medication the cat needed
Harry and Hermione exited the shop, then Mispy appeared and cried as she see the cat, after a moment she took the cat from Hermione and took the cat to his room,
They entered the Flourish and Blotts, it took almost 2 hours and he had to drag Hermione away from the books, and they entered Florean Fortescue and ordered the Ice cream and after that they refilled the Potions Ingredients, Runic engraving kits and finally went to the Madam Malkin and Harry stayed out as he already bought his robes and full wardrobe few days after he arrived in the Diagon alley,
After almost an hour Hermione exited the Madam Malkin, Harry noticed someone in the crowd and he sighed looked at an unassuming man leaning on the wall few feet away from him, when he glared at the man he spluttered and tripped, harry facepalmed and approached the 'man' and helped him up
"Why am I not surprised that you tripped over the air" Harry said with dry voice. The 'man' glared at him
"Harry, do you know who this is" Hermione asked
"Oh yes, this was 'She-who-must-not-be-named ' she was the protection detail assigned to me this entire stay in Diagon Alley" Harry said with suppressing his laugh, the 'man' glared at Harry
"What do you mean 'she', Harry please explain" Hermione asked him again
"Well, let's get back to my room, and I will explain everything" Harry said and took Hermione's hand, the 'man' raised her eyebrow at the gesture, Harry extended his hand to him as well, with a sigh he took his hand awkwardly and soon they entered the leaky cauldron and into his room, as soon as he closed the door, for Hermione's shock the 'man' turns into a woman with heart shaped face and pink hair
"Who are you" Hermione exclaimed
"Let me introduce Mione, this is Nymphadora Tonks, Master Metamorphmagus, Trainee Auror and terror of Weasley twins, and Tonks this is Hermione Granger brightest witch of our generation and my girlfriend" Harry introduced each other, Hermione noticed her eyes dim and her shoulder slumped when Harry introduced her as his girlfriend, Hermione stood
"Tonks, can we talk in my room Privately" she said and took Tonks hand and exited Harry's room and entered the room opposite to his, Harry shrugged and took out the book on Arithmancy and started on how to break the spells into equations, after almost 30 minutes Hermione and Tonks entered his room, both had mysterious smile,
Harry smiled at them and accompanied them down for lunch, Harry and Hermione spent rest of the day reading Arithmancy books, surprisingly Tonks was good in Arithmancy and explained few doubts they had, but he noticed Tonks was acting a bit differently, she always had some stiffness even though she acts casual and free, but now she was truly free and even touching him more than usual, Harry shrugged
Next day
Harry woke up with the shouts coming from the out of his room, Harry sighed and exited the room, there he found Ron shouting at Hermione
"Keep your monster of a cat locked up in your room, he almost killed Scabbers" Ron yelled at her
"Ron, it's a cat, that's what they do, chase the rats and eat them" Harry said, standing up for his girlfriend and his mother's familiar, he took Hermione's hand and squeezed in reassurance
"But Harry, that bloody monster almost scalped me while trying to kill the poor Scabbers, and you were taking on her side" Ron complained
"Ron, just keep Scabbers in your room" Harry said with a sigh
"Why shood I, I had Scabbers for longer" Ron complained
"Ron…" Harry started, but he was interrupted by Mrs Weasley
"Ron, what's taking you so long, you would be late for the shopping" she said and stopped and looked at them and noticed the joined hands and her shoulders slumped slightly only Hermione noticed,
"Oh, Harry dear, Hermione, would you like to join us for the breakfast, we need to complete our school shopping" she said,
"Harry Mate you can join us we can get all our supplies together" Ron said
"Sorry Ron, I am here for over 4 weeks so I got my supplies long ago" Harry said
"What, I thought we could go together, fine Herms do you want to join us" Ron asked, both Harry's and Hermione's eyes narrowed
"Ronald Weasley, if you call me any name other than my full name you will be very sorry, and no I have got all my supplies yesterday" Hermione yelled and returned to her room carrying Crookshanks
"Mental that one" Ron mumbled
"Ron, you know she doesn't like you calling that" Harry said
"But she lets you call Mione" Ron said
"that's different" Harry said
"How is that different" Ron complained
"Because he was my boyfriend" Hermione said coming out of her room changed into regular clothes, Ron gaped at them, Harry sighed
"Ron…" he was interrupted again
"Since when" Ron asked Weasley temper evident in his tone
"yesterday" Harry said, Ron scowled and walked away from them, Hermione was about to follow him and yell at him, but Harry grabbed her hand and shook his head and entered his room and changed his dress and enter the dining area of Leaky Cauldron
"Come dear, join us" Mrs Weasley said and seated them in-between Fred and George, Twins smirked at them, they ate breakfast and before they can return to their rooms, Weasley twins dragged them to other part of the pub
"So"
"Is it true..."
"That you finally..."
"Confessed your feelings"
Harry looked at them with exasperation
"Can you two not do that ping pong thing, at least this early in the day" Harry asked
"Fine, now spill" Fred asked
"umm" Harry looked at Hermione, she just sighed and nodded
"Ok fine, yes we are Dating" Hermione said, they grinned
"Thanks for the conformation" George said pulling out the parchment and reading it
"Who got the pot Gred" Fred asked
"Huh? It's Luna she gave the date, second gone to Madam Pomphrey, she bet that they would date before 31st October 1993, third gone to Neville Longbottom, huh I don't even know he placed bet" George said, Harry and Hermione were gaping at them
"You were betting on us" Hermione growled
"No, we didn't get any money, we placed when you were in 4th year" Fred said
"Who else exactly place bet on our romantic life" Harry asked sarcastically
"Uh, almost everyone in Gryffindor, Professor McGonigal, Flitwick, Sprout, Madam Pomphrey and few others from other houses" George said
"I can't believe this" Harry muttered and Hermione nodded
"Also, whatever happen to you Harry, you look way different than we last seen you" Fred asked looking at him closely
"Nothing, maybe just a growth spurt" Harry said shrugging, Twins looked at him not believing what he said
"Uh fine, something happened but I don't know…" Harry trailed off and opened the 'party' tab

Harry looked around and found an elderly woman at the entrance of the Diagon Alley, looking far too innocent, Harry sighed, Hermione noticed and snorted when she looked at Tonks, Hermione approached her and dragged her to them
"Uh, Hermione what are you doing" Fred asked
"Ya know you can change your appearance, but you act the same" Harry said with chuckle, the elderly woman scowled at his words and started to morphed back to Tonks
"Hi Tonks, its bean long time since we met" George said with nervous smile
"What are you all up to now" Tonks asked her eyes narrowed at the Twins,
Harry was thinking hard weather to reveal his gamer ability or not, he knows Twins they can be trusted they will keep secrets, but Ron would sometimes just blurt out without thinking, and Tonks she only knows me for just few weeks, would she believe him and would she keep this a secret, Harry was thinking hard,
Then Hermione grabbed his hand and squeezed it, it reassured him, whatever it maybe he trusted Twins and Tonks even though he knows Tonks for only few weeks there was this feeling that makes him comfortable in her presence
Harry took a deep breath and took them to his room 'it would not do to speak of these things in public' Harry thought, Harry and Hermione sat on bed, before he could call Mispy popped in and brought few more chairs for everyone to sit
"Do you know what RPG Games are" Harry asked
