Chapter 8 Guild, Dungeon and First defeat

"This could only happen to you Harry" Fred said for the first time both twins looking quite serious
"Well, if not for the screen in front of me or the few video games my father and I play, I would've thought you are pranking me" Tonks said, Harry rubbed his neck sheepishly
"So can you guys can please keep this a secret, I would've invited Ron as well but, you know…" Harry trailed off, George nodded
"Yeah, he would either be jealous of you or he would brag till everyone knows your secrets" George said
"He was the main reason many stories spreading out there, but many of them seem suspicious, so we ignored many of them" Fred said
"Wha-wait, what stories are you talking about" Harry asked dreading the answer
"uh, Ron said he almost killed the troll as you ran and cover beside Hermione in your first year, and Hermione set Snape robes on fire on Harry's first quidditch match, at the end of the year you went through the trail of bravery that was set in forbidden corridor, and if not for Ron you couldn't escape one of the traps"
"And in your second year Ron break into Snape store and stole ingredients for Polyjuice, and Hermione brewed it, Ron and Harry broke into Slytherin common room using Polyjuice, and it was Ron's idea, we know Hermione was basically a genius in everything but even she can't brew the Polyjuice potion it was NEWT level potion after all"
"And at the end of last year when you, Ron and Lockhart were in the chamber of secrets, when Lockhart attacked you and the separated you both, Ron Duelled him and he reflected one of the spells and it hit Lockhart and knocked him out and Lockhart lost all the memories, how could we believe that, we know Lockhart don't know single spell out of cosmetic charms" George said, Hermione was fuming
"That… that utter prat, he... He is the one that spreading all those rumours, and he did nothing except that stupid chess game, even if he wasn't there, I could play chess, he played with me only once and when I defeated him, he never played with me again, he was not the only one who could play that stupid chess" she snarling, Fred and George were nervously looking at each other,
"Um Mione you were scaring others" he said squeezing her hand, she took deep breath and tried to calm down
"Now what do you think, do you want to join the party" Harry asked, Fred and George looked at each other and at the floating screen before them,
"Uh, I would like to join, but I can't be in your party when you were at Hogwarts, and I would be in Auror Academy, but could we be in the party even if we were far away" Tonks asked, Harry and Hermione looked at each other, Harry shrugged
"Um, I don't know, and don't worry you could exit the Party whenever you want" Harry said, Tonks nodded and accepted the request
"What do you thing Forge" one of the twins asked, even in the mini map when they were less than 2 meters their names merges, Harry rubbed the bridge of the nose and after few seconds both Twins accepted the Party Invitation, he viewed the Party Tab

"So, Harry how do we gain level up"
"Uh, we could level up by gaining Exp, we can gain it by completing the quests and defeating the monsters in the dungeons" Harry explained, they looked at him unsurely, before he could do anything there was another notification appeared

Harry stared at the notification and looked at them and he smiled
"don't worry about the party, if its fine with you, I would like to invite to the guild, then we can join the party even if we are not near each other" Harry said, Tonks perked up at that
"So do you wish to join Marauders Guild" Harry asked grinning, Twins looked at him and grinned
"So, you managed to…"
"… uncover the secrets of our gift then" the twins said in their ping pong tone
"Well, I must thank you for returning the heirloom of my father and his friends" he said with smile
"Wait, does that mean you father..."
"… James Potter was part of Marauders" twins asked in shock
"Yes, apparently my father was called Prongs" Harry said, they looked at him with shock
"Let us join you..."
"Let us be the part of..."
"Ok please just stop that ping pong game of your" Harry said rubbing his temple and opened the menu and Guild tab

"Uh I really don't know Mione, game generated those names automatically" Harry said he know that was sore subject with Hermione, after several moments Hermione calmed down
"We got notice saying we can change Marauders names when we unlocked our Animagus forms, what if we can't become Animagus" Tonks asked
"Huh, what do you mean Tonks" Harry asked
"Well, it was well-known fact that Metamorphmagus can't become Animagus" she said
"But why not?" Harry asked confused, because he saw the Animagus Perk in the Perk list but as per the description of the Perk he need to meditate and find my inner animal manually only then I can buy that Perk
"Because …" she trailed off, she was thinking of explanation but only thing coming to her was everyone saying 'it was not possible' or 'no one with Metamorphmagus ability ever became one'
"See if we don't try how can we know it for sure, according to Mispy other than us the known Metamorphmagus were few centuries ago" Harry said
"Now let's see your status and if you are ready, we can raid a dungeon" Harry said, Fred and George nodded

"Well, we at least know klutz can be removed" Harry said with a chuckle, Tonks wacked him back on his head
"Ok now are you ready for dungeon" Harry asked, everyone nodded

Harry noticed the name of previous dungeon he used was changed to Undead ID, he selected that

Harry selected 'Yes' there was a flash of light
All of them were on the abandoned island, all buildings were covered in vegetation, with familiar red sky and full moon
"Harry, where are we?" Hermione asked
"This is the Instance Dungeon, it was some kind of pocket dimension, I hope all of you can see your Health, Mana, Stamina and Experience bars on the edge of your sight" Harry asked, they all looked at the place Harry pointed they nodded
"If your Health reached 0% you will be thrown out of the Dungeon" Harry said, he noticed Hermione relaxed a bit, then they heard the some scraping noises they turn around and saw Undead skeletons dug themselves out of the graves and moving towards them
"Get ready" he opened the inventory and equipped the one of the Twin Dragon swords he used previously, and equipped the shield on his off hand, he rushed and casted simple knockback jinks to knock them back and Harry used the sword to defeat 3 skeletons in one swing, he noticed a blue fireball attacking few skeletons, Harry jumped back to give others a chance to fight
"Reducto" a blue beam both twins wands and hit closest undead and it exploded into slinters, they were using those spells repeatedly, he looked at Hermione
"I want to try something new" Hermione said and picked up few rocks on the ground and throw them in the direction of Undead and she pointed her wand in the same direction and shouted "Waddiwasi" all the rocks shot in high speed and punched through few skeletons, it took out few of the skeletons with every shot he looked at Hermione impressed, then he heard
"Sagittas" Tonks shouted few arrows materialized and shot through skeletons, Tonks was using several spells, Harry nodded and re-entered the Battle to defeat the stray undead who escaped Hermione's and Tonks attacks
2 hours later
"Harry, I hate you" Hermione groaned, both twins were panting and Tonks and Harry too looked winded, it was taking a lot out of them, all these Undead were stronger than the in the Quest ID he entered, but results show themselves, now Hermione was Level 32, Fred and George at Level 40, Harry is at Level 39 and Tonks was at Level 48
"Well, we completed our first objective 1000 Undead" Harry said, then there was the similar feeling of dread covered all of them, only Harry and Tonks still standing, Hermione and twins were shivering, he closed the Gamer Mind activation notification and looked at Tonks, he noticed all the bones gathered into 2 piles and formed into 2 Death Knight,

"How are you feeling" Harry asked
"I am fine, I was trained in Occlumency to help control my Metamorphmagus ability" Tonks said, Harry nodded
"Ok I faced it once but at that time I only fought 1 it was a very tough battle but now there are 2, I don't know we could handle them and protect them" Harry said
"Protect them I will try ..." she was cut off by the roar from one of the Death Knight, it rushed at them, "Protego Maxima" she shouted and a dome like shield appeared covering all of them, Harry noticed Hermione and Twins slowly standing up, Death Knight was pounding on the shield
Harry closed his eyes and tried to concentrate and pointed his sword at Death Knight and shouted "Flamma Sanctus" instead of the jet of flames he was expecting, there are just few sparks

Harry cursed, at that moment Tonks shield charm failed and both Death Knights raised their swords and that was the last thing he saw and everything went black

Harry gasped and looked around everyone looked somewhat pale, Mispy appeared and looked around and popped away, after a moment Mispy brought chocolate drink for everyone
"I am sorry for that" Harry said
"No, it's not your fault" one of the Twins said
"We almost fell unconscious when they appeared" another Twin said
"I am good in stealth and information gathering, that's what most of my training was focused on till now, so I was no help in real straight fight" Tonks said
"I think we got stronger even though we failed to clear the dungeon" Tonks added
"I was just carried away with my spells with undead and when time came for those last 2 monsters, I am all out of my magic, and I almost fell unconscious when they appeared" Hermione said with sad face, Harry sighed,
'it seems no one was joining me in next Dungeon diving, well I don't blame them if they don't want to accompany me, I failed them as leader' Harry thought
"If you don't want to join me in next time I can understand"
A/N: And that happened, in my first draft I written they cleared the dungeon and partied and Twins introducing Harry and Hermione to Butterbeer, but I thought why not let Harry experience this loss, to ground him, because he was depending more and more on stats and game mechanics, he need to know Stats are not definite proof that he would win, better loose the less consequence battle and learn right.
Also I am sorry if you expect a huge fighting sequence I am not that good in writing fights, I am still learning to convey my thoughts into words
