POKÉMON THE REVAMPED TIMELINE: TRIALS OF THE 3!

AFTER SERENA WAS ABLE TO GET HER OWN BUTTERFREE, SHE HAD TO CONTEND WITH THE ANTICS OF A GHASTLY …

WHO HAD FORCED HER TO WEAR HER PERFORMANCE OUTFIT IN A HAUNTED HOUSE.

AND SHE UNFORTUNATELY CAUGHT THE GHOST.

IT WASN'T ALL FOR NAUGHT, HOWEVER.

IT TURNED OUT THAT THE HAUNTER ASH HAD BEFRIENDED THIS TIME ACTUALLY WAS HIS GENGAR.

AS SUCH, ASH WAS READY TO TAKE ON SABRINA.

AFTER DEFEATING HER, ASH WAS ABLE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PAST SABRINA WHO WAS A ROCKET WAS NO LONGER THE ONE INHABITING SABRINA'S BODY ANYMORE.

AS SERENA WAS PREPARING FOR HER TRAINING AS A PSYCHIC, ASH AND BULBASAUR WENT TO THE MYSTERIOUS GARDEN.

WHERE THEY MET ANOTHER OF RED'S OLD POKÉMON, SAUR.

BULBADAUR ALSO DECODED TO EVOLVE, SO HE LEARNED THE HIDDEN ABILITY OF THE SAUR LINE, CHLOROPHYLL.

NOW, THEY JJST HAVE TO WAIT THREE DAYS FOR SERENA TO FINISH HER TRAINING.

AND THEY WILL DECIDE TO DO A DIFFERENT THING EACH DAY.

(DAY 1)

Ash yawned as he stretched out of the bed.

Rocket Sabrina clearly didn't care that much about how her students slept.

Given how rock solid the beds were.

Still, Sabrina now had put in the order for some new mattresses, so that shouldn't take too long.

The only reason why Ash was sleeping in the student quarters was because of Serena.

Sabrina recommended it so that she was comfortable while she was here.

She also glared at the guy who had tried hitting on Serena when they first entered the Gym.

Ash kept his eye on him, and he and Gengar and Zorua often made him regret his decisions.

Ash stretched as he sat up …

And noticed Serena had just finished getting dressed in front of him at the door.

In her Performance Dress.

"Seriously, Serena? Aren't you getting tired of wearing that, especially after the haunted house escapades?" Serena jumped slightly before realizing Ash had just woken up.

"I wouldn't, but Sabrina recommended it as while I am having some bad memories in this, I have so many more happy memories in this dress." She said as she walked over and sat next to Ash.

"So, it should keep me stable while we train." She then scowled.

"That plus they were out of the new trainee uniforms when they had a perfect supply yesterday." She grumbled out, as Ash soon got a feeling as to what happened.

"Idiot?"

"Idiot."

Idiot was the guy who had tried hitting on Serena when they had entered the building.

"Thankfully, Gengar, Zorua, Zoroark and surprisingly, GHASTLY are currently hunting him down with Sabrina's permission to punish him." She said, as Ash just smirked at the ideas that came to his mind.

(WITH IDIOT!)

He ducked as Zoroark came sniffing around, trying to get his scent.

The beauty that had arrived had a Ghost Type and some kind of undiscovered new Type.

Hopefully he could report this to Professor Oak and make a bundle since a new Type hadn't been discovered since 1995.

He just had to avoid them long enough and get that blasted bloke away from her before he could, since he did throw out all the new uniforms so she could get stuck in that lovely red dress she arrived in.

Seeing the strange Pokémon and her Ghastly leaving, he emerged from his hiding spot and tried to head into her room …

Only to have the bloke's Gengar appear from the wall in front of him.

"What are you going to do you inferior Ghost!?" He insulted, before Gengar smirked and pulled out a stopwatch.

"WHY LOOK AT THAT! It's exactly 6 seconds before I poke your eyes out, honk your nose to alert the others and pull your underwear over your head!"

"Wha- what do you mean by-"

*BRING! *

*POKE! *

"OWW!"

The pain from Gengar poking his eyes with his pointy fingers was a sensation he wished he never had to go through.

Then he felt Gengar grasp his nose, ready to squeeze it.

*HONK, HONK! *

Instead of pain, he felt his nose compress like rubber as a honking sound came out of it.

"GENGAR'S GOT HIM! CHARGE!" While his vision was still blurry from the double poke by Gengar, he swore he saw the girl's Ghastly charging at him in a Musketeer outfit with a rapier.

Panicking, he tried to turn around and flee …

Only to feel Gengar unbuckle his belt, grab his underpants, and sling them over his face to where he couldn't see where he was going, ultimately tripping over something and feeling the sword poke him in the rear.

"YEEEOOOOOWWWW!"

"I'd say that they found him and are punishing him." Ash said as Serena was still sitting next to him.

"Indeed, I hope they make it painful with the slap stick." She said as she turned to Ash.

"So, what are you going to be doing today? I can't have you with me in the training room, it might screw up Sabrina trying to teach me." She asked, with Ash smiling.

"There's something called the Training Dojo nearby, so I was thinking of taking Pikachu, Lucario and Primeape for some training." He told her, which got her to smile and shake her head.

"I swear, besides food and the present me, you only think about that." Ash chuckled nervously at that, then noticed that Serena had her Performance Shoes off to her side.

"You might want to put those on, you might be late." He then noticed Serena take on a red hue as red as her dress.

"W-well, remember when you told me back in Rota that if I wanted, I could just … welll …" Ash racked his brain, trying to remember what she was referring to …

Then laughed as he remembered what he told her when he gave it back to her and he presented the shoes.

"You're collecting on it now?" Serena then nodded.

Ash then grabbed her left shoe and walked over to her.

Pikachu and Sylveon, who had been quiet for the moment their trainers were having, looked at each other and nodded.

Pikachu then whipped his legs with his tail, making him fall over.

He let go of the shoe and Sylveon caught it, placing it on Serena's foot.

Serena was confused until she saw Ash acting like her shoe had hit the floor.

"Oh no no no! This is terrible! Now I will never find the girl who fit that with the Performance shoe destroyed!" He cried, as he acted like he was shuffling around shattered pieces.

Serena looked in confusion, until she remembered the movie.

She giggled and got into character, playing along with the three of them.

"That's quite alright, Prince Ash." Ash looked up as Serena put her hands to her side.

"For you see …" She began as she slightly lowered her voice to match that of the voice actress from the movie, they were role playing.

"I have the other Performance shoe." She presented her right shoe, while Pikachu did an over-the-top gasp while Sylveon pretended to faint like the evil stepsister.

Ash then smiled, and then grabbed it.

"Now to see if this slipper fits her." He said with a ton of Tepig Ham.

He then slowly put the shoe on her, as Pikachu then used Dexter to play the music that had played during the scene.

The shoe had no trouble going onto her foot, as Ash did an over-the-top reaction of it fitting her.

She then smiled as he raised her up …

And then nearly became as red as her shoes again as he then brought her into a kiss.

When he pulled away, he was smirking.

"What? We had to get through the scenes fast." Serena got out of her stupor as she then began to giggle at the whole affair.

"Yes, but I recall in the scene, the guy repeatedly kissing the shoe before he put it on her. Why didn't you do that?" She asked with a sly smirk.

"I was tempted, but it would appear weird for a thirteen-year-old to do that. So, best to wait until we're older." He told her, as she thought about it and nodded.

"OK, but that means we're going to be doing it again." She said in a singsong voice as Ash blushed.

"Once a year, OK?" Serena looked at him, then laughed and nodded.

"Well, it's time for my training to begin! C'mon, Sylveon! Say goodbye to your mate and let's get going!" Sylveon then wrapped her feelers around Pikachu, and dragged him to her, where she kissed him.

Pikachu took on a hue similar to his cheeks as Sylveon then ran to Serena's side.

Pikachu was picked up by Ash as he shook him out of his stupor.

"Come on. We'll have some moments with them later." Pikachu glared but acquiesced as they ran out of the building.

Sabrina was waiting for Serena to get to the room where she would train her.

The other students were having a day off to rest up after the regiment Rocket Sabrina put them through.

At least the ones who didn't anger her to the point of questioning what Rocket was thinking.

Given how Ash's Zorua and Gengar, and Serena's Zoroark and Ghastly had dragged the idiot who was an inexperienced intern who tried to talk a big game into the room she was in after he had gotten rid of the new recruit outfits.

"You are going to have to convince me of why I should keep you here. You have already gotten the basics on Psychic powers, so you don't need help controlling them anymore." She told him, as he whimpered.

"I will get the new recruit outfits by the end of the day." He whimpered out, terrified of both the Pokémon growling at him and the very judgmental stare Sabrina was giving him.

And he thought Rocket Sabrina was terrifying.

Sabrina stopped glaring as she saw Serena come into the room.

And then smirked.

"So, did you have quite the moment with your boyfriend?" She asked as Serena blushed.

"Yes, but I would rather not get into detail." She said …

Before realizing that Sabrina had disappeared.

"Hmm, interesting." Serena nearly jumped when she saw that Sabrina was to her right, having her left hand on her right foot.

"You and Ash had a nice little moment in the room I gave you two, replaying that Cinderelly scene. And that Ash is planning on taking on the Dojo that's next door." Serena blushed as it seemed like she was somehow living through the scene.

Sabrina then let go and looked at Serena.

"A bit of a trick I picked up from Morty in Johto. Whenever anybody touches something, it leaves a psionic print of that particular moment in time." She explained as Zorua and Gengar dragged the moron away with Zoroark and Ghastly sticking around.

"It's more strong if the person is actually wearing the object, and it will degrade over time. If you're viewing it just from the object, you only get bits and pieces of the scene you're trying to watch." She explained as she led Serena to the center of the room.

"But that's a lesson for later. Do you have the team for the training today?" She asked as Serena then released Braixen, Riolu and Sakura.

Given how Sylveon, Ghastly and Zoroark were already out, it was clear her starting team was ready.

"All right then. Now then, first we learn how to actually feel it." Sabrina said as she sat down in a meditative stance.

Serena followed suit with her Pokémon, as Ash had taught her the same thing.

"Now then, first clear your mind. Focus on the happy thoughts you currently have tied to that dress."

Ash had run into Gengar and Zorua, and returned them as He and Pikachu found themselves in front of a wooden building, with a sign on the front.

"THE FIGHTING DOJO! MASTERS OF THE MARTIAL ARTS!

Not associated with the Pokémon League we are not a Gym."

"Well, at least they're being honest about it." He said as they entered and saw several men grappling with each other.

Everyone stopped and stared at him when he entered the building.

Ash felt his skin crawl at the glares he was getting, until he remembered he had met Bruno.

He was a lot scarier and more gentle than these guys were.

Quickly decomposing himself, he released Primeape and Lucario.

"I am here to test my strength and my Pokémon! Who are our first opponents?" He shouted, as they all stared at him.

Then, in the far back, the one who clearly ran the Dojo walked forward and smiled.

"There's some fire! And from someone with a Lucario! Remember that, students!" He told the four around him, who bowed in respect.

"You didn't need to do it like that, just to so you're aware. We don't look down on those who hold themselves back, given how long it took for you to tell us what you wanted." Ash mentally slapped himself for that.

"Sorry, but I had met Bruno years ago, so I wasn't sure if you would act like him or not." While he hadn't met Bruno YEARS AGO in this timeline, he mentally remembered his meeting in the original timeline.

"Understandable, but we have trained under Bruno himself, so we aren't like most other Martial Artists. Still, we are always ready to train! SĀ HAJIMEMASHOU!" With that order, the two white belts then appeared in front of him.

"We shall have a gauntlet, one Pokémon versus two of my students. Have you picked which Pokémon shall be your first?" Ash looked at Pikachu, and nodded.

"Pikachu! Let's do it!" Pikachu leapt off his shoulder and waited for his opponents.

"TYROGUE!"

"MANKEY!"

The two martial arts Pokémon took battle stances as they stared at Pikachu.

"HAJIME!" The teacher shouted as the Pokémon charged at each other.

"Pikachu, use Iron Tail! Then try Brick Break!" Pikachu blocked a double palm strike from Tyrogue with his tail, and punched Mankey in the snaus with his tiny fists.

"Now Quick Attack!" Pikachu quickly streaked away as Mankey tried a retaliatory punch, and Tyrogue tried to kick him, only to get each other instead.

"Brick Break on Mankey!" Pikachu then shot off to try and get Mankey off guard.

"Counter!" Mankey's trainer called out as Pikachu landed the hit …

Only to have Mankey grab Pikachu and knee him in the stomach.

"Hi JUMP Kick!" Tyrogue's trainer called out, as Pikachu was almost sent through the roof after the kick connected with his face.

"Pikachu!" Ash watched as his best friend slammed into the mat face first.

Yet amazingly, Pikachu staggered to his feet.

"Quick Attack into Brick Break!" Ash called out.

Pikachu looked at him for a second, then figured it out.

Charging for the pair, he jumped over their attacks and twisted his body to punch one of them.

"COUNTER!" The trainers both called out.

"Now try sending electricity from your cheeks to your fists!" Tyrogue's eyes widened in terror as electricity began to pool around Pikachu's fist as it connected.

Tyrogue was sent reeling back into Mankey as they staggered to their feet, ready to throw the Counter …

Only to stop in place from electricity freezing them in place.

Ash stared in shock, alongside Pikachu as he looked at his fist.

That wasn't just some random combo attack they did.

Somehow, Pikachu did a Thunderpunch.

Ash then saw the two staggered.

"Use Iron Tail!" Pikachu sprinted at Tyrogue, who threw up his hands and caught Pikachu's Tail with a Detect.

"Try ThunderPunching your tail!" Pikachu didn't hesitate, as he socked his own tail (which really hurt!) And the electricity traveled down the metal and into Tyrogue's arms, forcing him to let go.

And then get clobbered on the head by the Iron Tail.

Tyrogue hit the mat with swirly eyes, showing he couldn't take it anymore.

Ash and Pikachu didn't celebrate, however.

Mankey was still standing, and he was still ready with a Counter.

Ash then noticed that Mankey was leaning to one side, clearly favoring one side over the other.

Could he… ?

"Pikachu! Charge at Mankey with an Iron Tail ready!" Pikachu began to run towards Mankey with his tail glowing silver.l, not truly metal yet.

Mankey oriented himself to where Pikachu would hit his crossed arms, while still balancing on the good side.

"Jump!" Pikachu did a small hop into the air, his tail still glowing silver.

Mankey was ready.

Ash knew he could tank the hit if he hit the crossed arms.

Then again …

"NOW SPIN UPSIDE DOWN AND USE IRON TAIL ON HIS LEGS!"

That wasn't the target.

Turning his tail into a lighter steel so that he didn't accidently break Mankey's legs, Mankey was thrown for a loop and a spin when Pikachu swept him with Iron Tail.

"Now. BRICK BREAK!" The punch landed squarely in the middle of Mankey's face as he was thrown backwards on the mat.

Mankey tried to push off the ground, but slumped to the floor, unable to move.

"KONO TATAKAI WA OWATTA!" The teacher shouted as his students returned their fallen friends to the balls.

"Very well done. Combining Brick Break with natural electricity to make Thunderpunch. I shall have to catch a Pikachu myself." The Tyrogue trainer said as he bowed in respect to Ash as Pikachu stumbled back, cradling the arm that had done the ThunderPunch.

"Well, I definitely need to start sparing with Lucario later. Feels like I broke my wrist." Pikachu told him as he rubbed his left wrist.

"Is your next Pokémon ready to go?" Ash nodded at Primeape who leapt forward as two brown belts then released their own Primeape and a Machoke.

"BEGIN!" Primeape took a battle stance.

"Just use Rage Fist?" He asked Ash as he felt the power he used from the last 8 times still being present.

"Hold back on it for now, I noticed how it seemed like your rage hasn't diminished from the last time you used it." Primeape shook his head but understood.

"Use Mega Kick!" Primeape charged and spun around for the kick, taking Machoke by surprise as he was sent flying.

"Mega Punch!" The other Primeape trainer called out as both Primeape slammed their fists into one another …

And Primeape accidentally activated Rage Fist.

The extra power completely surprised his opponent, who skidded across the mat, trying to not fall over.

Primeape nervously looked at his hand, as he hadn't meant to activate that move as he felt the increase in power again.

Ash then noticed something with his opponent's Primeape.

His hand was glowing with Ghost Energy as well, with confusion as it swung its own Rage Fist at Primeape, who met it with his own given how surprised he was by it.

"What the – did your Primeape somehow teach mine a new move?" The trainer said, as his Primeape stared at its fist in confusion.

Both Ash and Primeape looked at each other, before he made a time out motion with his hands.

"My Primeape learned a new move called Rage Fist, and according to him, he's only ever seen other Primeape use the move, and we don't know how exactly it works." He told him as Primeape looked at his opponent and shrugged.

And then had to dodge the other Primeape's attempt to knock him our with Rage Fist.

"Use Thrash!" Ash called out as Primeape caught his opponents arms and a dust cloud began as he began to pummel the opposing Primeape.

It stopped when Machoke attempted a Karate Chop and he pushed off his opponent to dodge.

"Mega Kick!" Primeape rolled under a horizontal Karate Chop and kicked Machoke right in the face before again accidently using Rage Fist and knocking him out.

"I swear I'm not activating it intentionally, Ash!" He called out as Ash stared at the fist in confusion.

Each time Primeape had thrown that punch, the ghost Aura would grow bigger and bigger, even when he fought Sabrina.

Primeape threw one more punch, and knocked out the opposing Primeape, but both he and Ash felt no satisfaction from this and just stared at the hand worriedly.

"We really need to teach you the other punching moves." He said, as Primeape nodded.

"Yeah, I don't like this. Everytime I use it it feels like the rage just doesn't go away."

Meanwhile, the teacher was discussing with his students on how to deal with that battle.

After 5 minutes, they nodded.

"You won the second round. So now you will face your final opponent."

"Wait, WHAT!? But didn't I cheat or use dishonorable tactics!?"

"Far from it. You and Primeape accidentally used it, and it was clear you weren't activating it intentionally. Even then, the other Primeape learned it and was just as confused as you were, so it was a fair fight." With that, Ash looked at Primeape, who shrugged and walked off the field.

"We'll accept, for now. But who will be our final opponent?" The master smirked as he revealed two Pokéballs, one colored white and brown, the other Brown, Purple and Red.

"Me! The black belt of the Dojo! Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan! Battle Stance!" With that, a Brown Pokémon with slanted eyes appeared with white limbs and showed off some rapid kicks.

The other one had brown skin as well, but the center mass had purple coverings like armor and both fists looked like oversized boxing gloves.

Ash looked at Lucario and they both nodded.

"Aura on, Lucario!" Lucario roared and took a stance on the mat staring the two down.

"Finally. One of the worthiest opponents for my two friends. Our battle will be LEGENDARY!" The Karate Master called out as both he and his Pokémon looked excited when Lucario appeared.

"Use Hi JUMP Kick, Hitmonlee! Use Sky Uppercut, Hitmonchan!" Both Fighting types blurred as they struck Lucario square in the chest.

Yet despite both extremely powerful attacks, Lucario stood firm.

"Rapid Fire Aura Sphere!" Lucario then began to fire a bunch of smaller Aura Spheres causing both Hitmon to run around the field trying to avoid the small projectiles.

"Extreme Speed!" Lucario then vanished and tried to take a swipe at Hitmonlee's back.

Only for him to duck forward and spring his legs back into Lucario's chest.

As he was sent backwards, Hitmonchan zoomed around and used Fire Punch on the back of his head.

"Lucario!" Ash called out in worry as Lucario shakily stood up, glaring at the two.

"Still, he stands. Excellent. Blaze Kick and Fire Punch!" Lucario staggered back from the pincer attack of both Fire Type attacks and fell to one knee.

Still no Burns, so thankfully they didn't have to worry about that.

Lucario continued to do his best at dodging the attacks while Ash tried to think up a plan.

"Try Extreme Speed to make them hit each other!" Lucario tried to vanish the very moment Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were in the perfect position to hit each other.

They did, but they had pulled back on the attacks enough to where they just confuzzled them for a moment before chasing after Lucario again.

Ash was worried about losing after he came so far.

When he noticed that Lucario's appendages suddenly began to get sparks coming off them.

On his arms, it looked like electricity was coming off them as he blocked the fire attacks, while his legs were giving off embers.

Wait.

The other Primeape learned how to do Rage Fist just by watching HIS Primeape, right?

"Lucario! Stop trying to retaliate and watch their moves!" Confused, but obeying, Lucario began to observe both using the moves.

Whenever Hitmonlee used Blaze Kick, his legs scratched the ground to kick up sparks to set it ablaze, but it seemed to hurt Hitmonlee in the process.

Whenever Hitmonchan used Fire Punch, he vibrated his hands together for about 3 seconds before drawing back his right arm and engulfing it in flame.

Suddenly, he felt his legs start burning similar to how Hitmonlee did kicks, and quickly roundhouse kicked Hitmonchan in the face, knocking him back.

As Hitmonlee charged, Lucario threw a punch, as electricity began to crackle around the fist.

Taking Hitmonlee by surprise, Hitmonlee slammed into Hitmonchan, as sparks began to surround the two of them.

"Now, use Extreme Speed, but combine it with your Punch and kicks!" Appearing in front of the two, everyone turned away when bright flashes suddenly kicked up from the beat down.

When everyone looked again, they saw Lucario standing over two swirly eyed Pokémon while a Kanji symbol was surrounding Lucario.

"Both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are unable to battle! Ash Ketchum, you have not only survived the Gauntlet, but you have conquered it!" The Karate Master called out as he returned his two fallen comrades.

"Thanks, but they were tough and hard-earned victories, Master." Ash countered, as the Karate Master then suddenly brought out a box.

"Because of your honor, ingenuity, and teamwork, I ask you take these two Pokémon with you. Train them alongside your own, and they shall be as loyal as any Pokémon!" With that, he presented two Pokéballs, as they released a Hitmonchan and a Hitmonlee from them.

Ash looked at them both in deep thought.

Both were very good, but he didn't see the need to keep Both.

Oh, he wouldn't refuse, but he was thinking he might give one to one of his friends.

"Is everything OK, Ash? You seem to not want our gift."

"It's not that. I will take them, but I think I will give one of them to one of my friends who will take good care of them." The Master understood as they both returned to their balls.

"Now then, will you be on your way?"

"Not yet, figured it would help me and a lot of my Pokémon if we stay and train-" Ash cut himself off when he saw a silhouette of purple behind one of the curtains.

Then what came out was a Galarian Farfetch'd.

"Um, what's this Farfetch'd doing here?

"Oh, this strange Farfetch'd? A week ago, I went to the Galar region. When I came back, I found this guy stowed away in my luggage." The Master replied, as Ash bent down to talk to it.

"Meet me outside after this training is over." He told it, as the Farfetch'd looked at him uninterested?

"Because I can help you evolve." THAT took everyone by surprise.

Which was understandable, given how the Kanto variant couldn't evolve.

"But first, training?" Ash asked, as the Master shook his head to refocus.

"Indeed! Now then, to help your Lucario and Primeape! Do you have any others who need help?" Ash then released Charizard, and Clefairy.

"Alright then, first we are going to go over the Punches. For Fire Punch, we need to find the flame deep inside."

(ONE TRAINING MONTAGE LATER! (SORRY! I DON'T EXACTLY HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR WRITING A COMPLETE TRAINING MONTAGE! I WILL TRY TO BE BETTER IN FUTURE CHAPTERS!))

Farfetch'd had followed Ash outside when it became night, and the dojo closed.

He would be coming over here over the next three days, in order to work out where he could improve all his friends' abilities.

Right now, he had to give the option to an old friend.

"So, the reason I asked you to come out here." Farfetch'd said nothing but motioned for Ash to go on.

"See the thing is, we've met before. In the future." Farfetch'd raised an eyebrow at that.

"Yes, you did evolve, but that was after your leek got slashed apart. You want to be the best Leek Master around." Farfetch'd nodded at that, no surprise at that.

"Then you and I went on to defeat the reigning champion of the world. We took him down after you evolved. I can give you back your memories, if you want." Ash held out his hand to Farfetch'd, who put a wing under his chin in thought.

Then he grabbed it and began to glow.

When the light disappeared, the dark colored Farfetch'd was replaced with a proud, uninterested white bird who had a leek sword and the top of a leek shield.

"Well, Sir Ash, you're lucky that my old self just decided to grab your hand for the heck of it. Otherwise, I would have just slapped you with my leek, henceforth." Ash was trying his hardest NOT to laugh at the combination talk of old school knight and punk.

"That being said, it is good to see you again. This is when you were first starting out, given the date?"

"Indeed, but if you wish to fight, let me know as the Gym Leaders should be getting harder by this point."

"Verily. We shall soon show them the awesome might of the Galarian variants and drink their tears of shame of defeat!" Ash mentally smacked himself to make sure this was reality.

"Do all Sirfetch'd talk like this?"

"Tis a bit of an annoyance, we do shift from honorable knight to arrogant flightless bird quite on the fly."

"Let's just get back to Serena so I can give her the other Hitmon Pokémon so she can train with him as soon as possible." Sirfetch'd raised an eye at that.

"And this Serena? Is she to be your queen? And is it the same blonde gal who you talked with for 10 seconds in Hoenn?"

"Watch what you call her. She'll make you into Farfetch'd Fricassee."

"Alas, one slight problem with that. I am a Sirfetch'd now, so she can't do that as I am no longer a Farfetch'd."

"You and your loopholes."

(BACK IN THE ACADEMY!)

"OK that is the end of the training for today, Serena. It is time to sleep and get as much rest as possible. It's going to get hard almost immediately when we start tomorrow." Sabrina told Serena, as she and her Pokémon went back to the room they were assigned, dog tired from the training.

For something that just used the mind, it was as taxing as physical training.

Well at least the idiot found the new uniforms as he was ordered to.

So, she wouldn't have to wear her Performance Dress again for training.

Quickly opening her door in case, a certain idiot was around the corner.

So, she was surprised when she found Ash conversing with a brown bodied, white limbed Pokémon and a white knight bird Pokémon.

"Oh, Serena. Training done for the night?" He asked, as she nodded.

"Yes, but tomorrow I have to bring in a Pokémon that I have just recently caught, so I can learn how to get a feeling for their thoughts in case they need help." Ash perked up at that.

"Would me giving you a new Pokémon count?"

"It should, but why?" Ash then gestured to the brown Pokémon.

"When I beat the Fighting Dojo, they gave me two Pokémon. Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan seems to get along with me better than Hitmonlee." Hitmonlee nodded and then stepped in front of Serena, looking at her.

"Hitmonlee, I think is a better one for you as a Performer and as a Psychic Partner." Serena thought about it and looked at Hitmonlee.

"We use the training tomorrow as a test run and see how well we do?" Hitmonlee closed his eyes in thought and nodded.

With that, Ash gave Serena his Pokéball.

"So, who's the white bird?" Said Bird then walked up to her and bowed like a knight to a Queen.

"He's called a Sirfetch'd and he's one of the recent ones I caught who helped me become the World Monarch." Serena then began to scratch him, while he tried not to show how much he was enjoying it.

"Make sure he wins the Indigo League this year, OK?" Sirfetch'd made a bow, as Ash returned him.

"Combination of a gallant knight and a street fighter. So, his talking might sound strange." Serena then giggled.

"Actually, I just read their minds. I don't hear their voices like you do, so it will sound normal to me."

(THE NEXT MORNING!)

Idiot was again making his way to the new recruit's room.

This time, those dang ghost types and … WEIRD types wouldn't get the better of him this time!

He brought FRIENDS along.

They were just making sure he didn't do something stupid and had alerted Sabrina to what was happening.

When they turned the corner, however …

They saw the boy's Gengar in an old school carnival outfit with a speak stand.

"SREP RIGHT UP HERE! DON'T BE SHY NOBODY LIKES A BASHFUL LEATHERHEAD!" He said in a faux carny voice as he pointed his cane at Idiot when he called him a leatherhead.

"MOVE IT!" The 5 made their way up at that order.

With that, he brought out a filled-up ballon.

"For my first trick, I'd like to do something for you son." He told the FRIEND to Idiot's right as he began to twist and contort the ballon to where it seemed to have a body with two heads on either end.

"We have … a GIRAFARIG! There you go son, now get outta here ya bother me." He told him as he gave the balloon Pokémon to him.

Then his girlfriend tried to get a better look at it, before he greedily pulled it away from her.

"Now …" Began Gengar as he reached behind him to pull something out …

And brought out a stuffed Pichu.

"Sorry, wrong pocket." He quickly tossed it away as he then pointed at Idiot.

"For you Son!" He brought out a white colored ballon and again began to twist and contort it.

"A little body English!" As he began to pump it in and out to get more air.

When it was done, he squeezed a bit of air into a ball on the end to resemble a trimmed poodle dog.

"A Kalos Furfrou!" He announced as he was about to give him the ballon Mon …

Before he popped it in front of his face.

"Sorry son, the Furfrou was rabid, had to put it down." He told Idiot as he took on a false saddened face, while Idiot looked ready to cry at having to put the Furfrou down.

"And NOW, last but not least!" Gengar announced as he brought out a massive black balloon.

"My favorite!" As he began to twist and contort it, he licked the balloon to make it easier to tie up.

They watched in fascination as he rolled it under and over himself to make a shape.

It seemed to have a balloon sword look to it when he stopped …

Pulled backwards and forwards …

And made it into …

"A TOMMY GUN!" He announced as the group suddenly realized that THEY were in the line of fire and ran away as Gengar opened fire on the group, intentionally missing the shots as Idiot dove into a dumpster that was there for some reason, as the others ran away.

Gengar began to laugh as Ghastly, Zoroark and Zorua began to laugh, revealing that Gengar hadn't been holding a Tommy gun, but Zorua who was spitting seeds at them, with Zoroark helping with the illusions and Ghastly helping with the balloons.

"He's going to be smelling the results in the morning!" Zorua laughed out loud as he and Gengar went back to Ash to begin their training at the Fighting Dojo, while Zoroark and Ghastly went back to Serena so she could put them in the Bag Box PC.

Meanwhile, Idiot discovered a new smell after falling down the trash chute.

(DAY 2! BROCK STORY!)

Brock had left the Pokécenter and was walking around Saffron City, looking for a good place to start training.

And hoping to figure out why Geodude was having trouble evolving.

He had asked Sabrina where a good place to train would be.

"There should be a place near the park that should be a good place to train something as big as a Steelix and work up to a Geodude and its evolutions."

Brock had found the area amd was about to start training when he saw a building nearby.

BATTLE CHATEAU! TRAIN FOR RANKS OF NOBILITY!

After walking in, he was surprised to see a bunch of people walking around in some fancy clothes like tuxedo or dress.

"Excuse me, Monsieur. You seem to lack the appropriate attire right now." Jumping slightly, he saw what looked to be a Kalos man staring at him.

"Apologies, Mon ami. I did not mean to startke you like that. If your interested in fighting the Battle Chateau you will need to follow me." With that, the man led him to a dress room.

"Alright, Mon Ami. What is your name?"

"Brock."

"Current team?"

"Steelix, Crobat and Geodude."

"OK, your first fight will be against a fellow Baron. Beat more and you'll rise in the ranks of the Battle Chateau. Get to battlefield 3, please." Brock didn't hesitate to get over there.

(BATTLEFIELD 3!)

Brock arrived and saw his opponent was a 12-year-old girl, who probably didn't have a lot of experience.

"Is Copycat ready!?" Copycat?

As in, the little girl who constantly uses mimic or transform?

She nodded, and the ref turned to Brock.

"Brock, are you ready?"

Brock brandished a Pokéball.

"Alright, BEGIN!"

"Clefairy!"

Brock grimaced.

This was going to suck for her.

"Geodude!"

Geodude emerged, looking eager to fight, before seeing hs opponent and turning around slowly to look at Brock.

"Yeah I'm not looking forward to this either, Geodude. Let's just get it over with." Geodude shook his head and got ready.

"BEGIN!"

"Use Metronome!" Clefairy then began to wave its fingers back and forth, as Brock and Geodude waited in anticipation…

When an image of Ho-Oh appeared above Clefairy and sent a massive torrent of flames from its body towards Geodude.

"Yes! Got Ho-Oh's Sacred Flame! This will be over in 2 seconds!" Copycat cried out happily.

Before noticing both Brock and Geodude looking unimpressed at it.

"Take it." The flames hit Geodude, who looked very annoyed at the flames, as if it were tiny embers.

"WHAT!? HOW'D IT BRUSH OFF THE SACRED FLAME SO EASILY!?" Copycat cried in astonishment as Clefairy was looking afraid of Geodude now.

"Rock type and Ground type. He's been hit by a Pikachu that was able to overpower his immunity to electric attacks. ROCK POLISH!" Geodude then began to sand himself until he had a massive mirror sheen to his body as he began to use Rollout around the battlefield.

"Use Copycat!" Clefairy then began to roll around the field, trying to catch up with the speedy rock type.

'Just a little more, just need to stay one step ahead …' Brock thought in his head as Clefairy then stopped having gotten dizzy from constantly spinning.

"NOW, GRYO BALL!" Geodude's own Rollout came to an end as it grabbed the ground to reorient itself as it then began to spin again.

But this time, he held his arms outwards as they adopted a silver glow, and he rocketed toward Clefairy.

"CLEFAIRY! INCOMING!" But Clefairy couldn't tell up from down before Geodude slammed into it.

When the dust settled, Clefairy was knocked out in a pit.

"Clefairy is unable to battle, Geodude wins!" The ref declared as Geodude began to shine brightly, with Brock looking excited …

At least until Geodude began to dull down and looked at his body in sadness.

"Still? It can't just be that you're not ready. Could something be preventing you from evolving?" Geodude just looked at him saddened.

"Maybe we should see if Professor Oak can figure it out. He is the authority on Kanto Pokémon for a reason." Geodude nodded …

And Brock then noticed that Geodude seemed to be trembling in fear, though he didn't acknowledge it.

"Well, it was my first attempt at a battle, but I guess I need to work on NOT just using the cutest Pokémon." Brock just smiled as he returned Geodude and patted Copycat on the head.

"More like I need to wait a few years and then start training. Not bad for your first attempt, you just need to be a bit more unpredictable with it." Copycat smiled and ran down the corridor.

"With that victory, Baron Brock, you have risen to the Rank of Viscount! Do you wish to continue?" Brock smirked.

"Yes, but I will be letting Geodude rest!"

"Understood! Who will be your two Pokémon for the fight of Viscount!?"

(TWO ANGRY RANTS DURING THE VISCOUNT FIGHT AND EARL FIGHTS ABOUT STEELIX DAMAGING THE BATTLEFIELD LATER!)

Brock was walking back down the challenger corridor after winning the Marquis Rank battle and was now a Duke.

He wasn't exactly … happy about his last win.

Turns out the Battle Chateau, while ALLOWING Pokémon such as Steelix to battle, doesn't exactly have a good BACKUP PLAN in case he uses his signature Heavy Slam attack.

Or Dig.

Or Body Slam.

Or basically any attack that has a chance of hitting the arena.

So right now, he was thinking about how to structure his team, since literally all he had on hand was Geodude, Crobat and Steelix.

Not really a lot of variety since he hadn't yet gotten Vulpix back.

"Geodude should have gotten fully healed, but Crobat can't keep taking these punishments, he's getting knocked around silly-"

All thoughts were halted when Brock tripped over something round on the ground and his face had a nice talk with how much of an ignoramus he was.

Quickly looking behind him, he saw it had been a Pokéball he tripped over.

"Well, that is just embarrassing. For both me and whoever dropped this ball." With that he picked up the ball and flipped the center button around to see who the ball was registered to.

Then he stared in shock and his hand went down to his belt.

He quickly counted how many Pokéballs he had on him right now.

3.

He then dug through and saw that he had all his empty Pokéballs on hand.

He then decided to find a secluded place to release the Pokémon away from prying eyes.

Quickly ducking into a corner of the city outside the Battle Chateau, he opened the ball on hand …

And got the wind knocked out of him, while feeling the familiar numbing of poison.

"Well, this isn't exactly how I imagined we would run into each other, but why the punches to the stomach? I haven't looked at a girl like that for-"

*SOCK! *

"No, but I have a quota to catch up on since I was gone for 4 months!" A purple toad like Pokémon said, as his right-hand glowed purple with poison.

Brock got himself back up as he stared at his old friend.

"Alright, Croagunk. Somehow, you came from the future, so I won't ask about that too much. Celebi or Dialga?"

"Celebi. Now, I believe you were trying to win the Battle Chateau?" Croagunk changed the subject quite fast.

"Yes, but I will have to register again to make sure they know about you." Croagunk looked annoyed but sighed and showed his fist again.

"Act up like usual and it's the Jabber for you, capiche?"

Brock gulped at that and nodded.

With that, Croagunk went back into his ball as Brock walked back in.

(BATTLEFIELD 5!)

Brock stood ready against his opponent; another Marquis ranked trainer.

He looked at Brock and bowed in a sign of respect.

Brock had managed to register his new team but was asked from using Steelix to avoid the budget issues that came from the last 2 battles.

"This will be a 3v3 between Brock Harrison and Sheldon Watanabe! Are your first choices ready?" Brock held out a Pokéball and Sheldon did the same.

"Then begin!"

"CROBAT!"

"LADY SYLVEON!"

As Crobat watched the energy of the ball release his opponent, he couldn't help but wonder how he was going to get better, given how in the last two fights he was knocked out First.

"Wow, I have a friend who has a Sylveon, but this is the first time I've seen a Shiny variation." Brock replied, breaking Crobat out of his stupor.

"Indeed! I lucked out when I hatched her egg! Enough talk! Use Psyshock!" Sylveon's eyes glowed as a blue around shot straight for Crobat.

Brock really hoped Ash's suggestion paid off here.

"WING/POISON COUNTERSHIELD!" He called out, as Crobat then began to send Toxic to his wings as he use3d Razor Wind to create a barrier as the aura struck the shield.

"Fairy Wind!" Sylveon quickly swung her head around as a pink wind suddenly came up as Crobat began to swirl around the vortex Sylveon was creating.

"Arial Ace!" Quickly cancelling the shield, Crobat did a flip in the air and aimed for the ground, heading through the eye of the wind as he pulled up at the last minute, a white aura forming an x on his body.

"Ram into Sylveon and use Poison Fang!" Sylveon had just gotten herself to stop using Fairy Wind, but she didn't have the time to dodge as well with how fast Crobat came in.

Crobat's mouth then glowed purple as he sank his teeth into Sylveon's neck, which Sylveon screamed in agony.

When she used her hind legs to kick him off, she perked while glowing purple.

Sheldon looked horrified when he saw that.

"I USE MY ONE SUBSTITUTION! RETURN SYLVEON!" With that, the red beam encapsulated Sylveon as he grabbed another ball.

"GO, TINKATINK!" A Pokémon that had an all-pink body minus a piece of grey metal on its chest and a cream cowlick on the head emerged from the ball and began to cry while shaking a grey rattle object in its left hand.

Brock carefully watched it and then Crobat looked at him.

"I take it you saw the same thing?" Crobat nodded as Brock then held up his right hand.

"I too shall use my one substitution to replace Crobat." The ref nodded and Brock then returned Crobat.

"Go, Geodude!" Geodude came out and saw his opponent.

He was tempted to laugh, until he remembered what Brock told him about Happiny and the crazy things she could do.

"GEODUDE VS TINKATINK! BEGIN!"

"Ice Hammer!" The rattle object in Tinkatink's hand became encased in ice as it charged for Geodude like a cartoon character.

"ROLLOUT!" Geodude then began to spin in place, waiting for the right opportunity.

Just as Tinkatink caught up to it and swung the "hammer" down, Geodude suddenly sped out of the way as the rattle became stuck in the ground.

Geodude then made a U-turn and headed straight for Tinkatink, who was desperately trying to get its rattle free from the ground.

"Tinkatink, Protect!" Tinkatink quickly threw up a green field around itself as Geodude then reoriented where his rolling body was.

When he hit the field, instead of stopping dead in his tracks, he rolled OVER the field and launched into the air.

Brock then had an idea.

"GEODUDE! BODY SLAM THE GROUND!" Geodude then stopped rolling in the air as he made a beeline for the floor as Tinkatink got its rattle out of the ground and was horrified.

"Tinkatink! Endure!" Tinkatink then crossed its arms in front of itself as it prepared to take on the incoming wave.

When Geodude impacted the ground, instead of cracking it, brown energy suddenly sprang around it as it then armed straight for its opponent.

Tinkatink was sent flying into the air, as Geodude then used Rollout again to chase after it.

"USE ICE HAMMER!" Tinkatink began to somersault through the sky as it prepared to hit Geodude who was slowing his roll.

"DOUBLE EDGE!" Geodude then suddenly roll forward twice as his body glowed white, before both he and Tinkatink collided, creating a plume of smoke.

"TINKATINK!"

"GEODUDE!"

Both became worried when they heard the arena cracking.

When the smoke cleared, Tinkatink was in a crater on its back with swirly eyes.

Geodude looked to almost be in the same shape, until he began to move slowly.

Then, miraculously, he pushed himself up and cried out in victory.

"TINKATINK IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! GEODUDE WINS! AND AS SUCH SHELDON GETS A SUBSTITUTION BACK!" The ref shouted as Sheldon returned Tinkatink.

"Thanks, Tinkatink. Take a good rest." Brock wanted to recall Geodude, but he had already used his substitution, so he had to stick with him until he was knocked out.

Geodude was panting and looked annoyed at having to stay out.

"Alright, Lucario! Let's avenge Tinkatink!" Brock gulped at that.

Great, Steel/Fighting type.

This was going to suck for Geodude, who also looked a bit scared when the blue jackal appeared.

"GEODUDE VS LUCARIO! BEGIN!"

"Metal Claw!"

"Rock Polish into Rollout!" Geodude quickly polished himself before BARELY getting out of the way of Lucario.

"Extreme Speed!" Lucario became a blur as he chased after Geodude, who because he was basically running on fumes, was slowing down.

Brock saw this and despite the rolling, his eyes met Geodude's.

And they both knew what the plan was.

He waited until Lucario was about to strike with Metal Claw.

"EXPLODE!" Before Lucario got the chance to try and change direction, Geodude grabbed his legs and made sure that they had a sudden stop.

Quickly weighing me down on his back, Lucario saw Geodude start to glow white as he tried to claw his way out from underneath him.

*KABOOOOMMM! *

Like before a massive explosion of dust obscured what happened, which everyone averted their eyes.

When it settled, a fainted Geodude was on top of Lucario.

Sheldon was worried that Lucario had fainted as well, when he elbowed Geodude's unconscious body off his back and shakily stood and roared in victory.

"GEODUDE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! LUCARIO WINS!" The ref began before Sheldon held up his arm.

"I would like to use my substitute now." The ref nodded as he recalled Lucario and brought out Sylveon again.

With that, Brock knew his choice.

"Crobat! Back into the fray!" Crobat screeched when he emerged and glared at the Shiny Eeveelution, as it glared back until it glowed purple.

"CROBAT VS SYLVEON! BEGIN!"

"Use Venoshock!" Several tendrils shot from Crobat's body and made a beeline for Sylveon.

"Rolling Protect!" Sylveon then leapt into the air as she began doing forward rolls while the green field erected itself and blocked the tendrils.

"Arial Ace around the field!" Crobat quickly did so and began to speed around the field as Sylveon gave chase.

Brock wasn't just running around waiting.

He saw the field begin to dissipate from Sylveon.

He just had to wait for the right moment.

"Use Bite!"

Sylveon leapt into the air at Crobat, its teeth glistening.

It got close to one of his wings, ready to bite down …

When Sylveon glowed purple and froze in the air.

"NOW!"

Crobat flipped over and shot out another Venoshock attack, which this time connected with Sylveon's stomach.

Sylveon crashed into the ground but staggered up, flashing purple, but still not toppling over.

"Hyper Voice!" Sylveon began to suck in air, as Brock nodded at Crobat, who flipped in the air and re-engaged Arial Ace.

"Now aim it at the ground!" Brock and Crobat mentally cursed in their heads at this guy's ingenuity, not as on par as Ash perhaps, but still tricky.

"Crobat, fly high into the air!" Crobat quickly pulled up and made a beeline for the higher roof area.

"NOW!" Sylveon let the attack rip as debris shot into the air, several pieces making it high enough to almost make Crobat lose his balance.

Brock, however, noticed the debris that collided with Crobat's wings stopped suddenly and became sand.

Quickly, they looked to where Sylveon was …

Only to realize that she was now up in the air at Crobat's height.

"Iron Tail!" Rolling forward again, Sylveon was smiling, ready to strike Crobat on the head.

Brock, however, knew how to put a Grooky wrench into that plan.

"Astonish!" Sylveon was startled when Crobat appeared right in front of her, with a devilish smirk on his face.

Crobat brought his wings together which were glowing white as his surprise attack startled Sylveon enough to where she lost her gathered Steel energy and was sent further up into the air.

"NOW VENOSHOCK HER INTO THE GROUND!" Sheldon panicked when he heard that.

"ENDURE!" Sylveon crossed her feelers in front of her after Crobat flew higher than her to shove her down into the ground with the attack.

A crater was formed when the Venoshock attack slammed Sylveon HARD into it.

Despite that, Sylveon smiled as she climbed out of the hole, ready with another Hyper Voice …

Only to glow purple and fall flat on the ground.

"SYLVEON IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! CROBAT WINS!" Crobat was staring ahead, shocked he had WON without getting KO'd in the process.

"Way to go, Crobat!" Crobat looked back at his trainer, and a smile slowly formed on his face.

They both turned as they saw Sheldon return his Shiny Fairy Type.

"You did amazingly well for having been poisoned, Sylveon. Take a nice long rest." Sheldon then smiled.

He had already revealed his last Pokémon, but Brock hadn't either.

"Lucario! Let's win this!" His Steel type came out and roared, ready to take down the Bat.

They both were confused when Brock held up his hand and motioned to the Ref.

"I shall now use my last Substitution." The ref nodded and held his flags behind his back.

"Brock, what are you doing! You're going to reveal your last Pokémon to me! Shouldn't Crobat stay out and try to whittle Lucario down as much as he can!?" Sheldon asked in confusion, with Lucario nodding his head at his trainer.

"Maybe, but I'd rather not put him through unnecessary pain. And even then, he doesn't quite have the move set to deal damage to Lucario." Brock then brought out the last ball, staring at it.

He may not know his moves, but he was going to improvise as best he could.

"CROAGUNK!" With that, Brock's purple frog with orange cheek sacs was crouched on the ground, looking up at Lucario.

"A Croagunk? Surprised you didn't use him against Tinkatink or Sylveon."

"His Fighting Type isn't as good at Fairy."

"CROAGUNK VS LUCARIO! BEGIN!" Croagunk made no motions as he just stared at Lucario.

Lucario stared back until he vanished.

Croagunk then closed his eyes, as if taking a nap …

Before it spun around and connected a Brick Break with Lucario's stomach region, stopping the Extreme Speed cold and forcing Lucario to fall back a bit.

Brock then noticed that Croagunk was looking at him, like he was trying to tell him something without outright saying it.

He then moved one of his black fingers down, white the other black one and his orange middle finger were still up.

He then cupped his arm into a C shape.

2 C?

Brock racked his memories trying to remember which move had 2 Cs in the name.

Then he remembered Ash's Lucario and his Primeape.

"Use Close Combat!" Croagunk then zipped in front of Lucario, who was still reeling from the punch Croagunk had given him.

When he saw Croagunk giving a devilish look, he gulped.

Croagunk then showed very little mercy in his pummeling.

Oh, Lucario just needed a trip to the PokéCenter later, but he wasn't going to try and close the distance again.

Despite that, Lucario used Force Palm to shove Croagunk off him and shakily stood up.

"Use Aura Sphere and keep your distance!" Lucario complied and began to use Extreme Speed as well to create a barrage of Spheres surrounding Croagunk.

Croagunk just watched as the Spheres came closer and closer, as he focused the Poison energy from his Jab attack into a point …

And began to cleave through the spheres, having focused the energy to a point that it dissipated the Spheres.

"Now listen for him and then-" Brock cut himself off when Croagunk held up a hand as he closed his eyes.

Soon, he picked up where Lucario was.

He then raised one of his feet and slammed it down, sending Ground energy straight for Lucario, who didn't see it in time as he tripped and began to roll.

Croagunk didn't stop there.

He zipped in front of Lucario and clapped his hands in front of him.

Lucario was sent further into the ground disoriented, as Croagunk brought his glowing white hand down on Lucario's head.

Lucario was dead center in a crater with swirly eyes after that, as the ref checked him to make sure.

"LUCARIO IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! CROAGUNK WINS! AND BECAUSE BROCK HAS TWO POKÉMON REMAINING, BROCK IS THE VICTOR AND RISES TO THE RANK OF DUKE!" He declared as Sheldon sighed and returned Lucario to his ball.

"Hey, Sheldon." Sheldon turned to Brock who had walked up with a smile on his face.

"Good battle." He said, extending his hand to shake it with Sheldon's.

Sheldon stared in surprise before smiling and shaking it as well.

"Thanks. SO how did you figure out counter strategies against ones that aren't native to Kanto?" Brock smiled.

"I got lucky with Lucario and Sylveon as two of my travel friends have one of them. Tinkatink, I just improvised best I could." He told him, as Sheldon nodded.

"Make sure you reach the rank of Grand Duke." Brock nodded and then went to the healing ward of the Chateau.

(GRAND BATTLEFIELD!)

"WELL FOLKS! IT HAS BEEN QUITE THE FAY BUT WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE FINAL BATTLE OF THE DAY!" The announcer yelled out as the Ref took to his fancy stand.

The only reason it was fancy was because they rarely got folks who go all the way to Duke or Duchess, and this was to determine if they went to the Grand stance.

"ON THE BLUE SIDE OF THE FIELD, THE MAN WHO HAS USED HIS ROCK-SOLID FRIENDS TO NOT ONLY TEAR OUR BATTLEFIELDS APART, BUT ALSO THE RANKS, BROCK HARRIISSSOOOOOOONNNNN!" Brock walked out to his platform, grimacing at the fact he had to swap out Geodude for Steelix, since Geodude had broken his arm during the fight.

"ON THE RED SIDE OF THE FIELD. THE OLDEST OF FOUR SISTERS, THE LEADER OF THE BATTLE MAISON, THE LOVELY GREEN TORNADO OF TERROR! THE ONE, THE ONLY, MORRRGGGGANNNNNNNN!" With that, the distinct sound of high heels walking could be heard from the tunnel.

Brock very nearly called out Croagunk when he saw who the lady was.

She wore a green dress, tights with a green line going vertically down the middle, green heels with a gold decoration like Serena's, black gloves that went up to her shoulders where they flared out, a green top hat based off a tulip, and her hair was green and done in a spiral shape.

But what made Brock surprised was her eyes.

They were green like her outfit, bur the way they looked half open reminded him so much of …

Her.

"My, my. Such a lad as yourself was able to make it this far in record time!" She told him in a composed voice that REALLY reminded Brock of her.

"I must admit though, I had not expected such a wee frog like yours to trounce such beasts of the Battle Chateau, my lad." Brock immediately changed gears when he heard her say that.

"HEY! Croagunk has taken on his evolved form and come out on top!" Morgan then held up her arms in a way of saying hold it.

"No need to bite back with that steel snake of yours, you've done a marvelous job of crushing your opposition, while aiding them as well!" She told him as the ref nodded to Brock to release his first Pokémon.

With that, Crobat appeared.

Morgan then seemed to look at him in faux jealousy.

"But to have such a marvelous bat such as yours? It puts me to shame! Let this battle be one of a treasure, my dear Politoed!" With that, the Kings Rock evolution of PoliWhirl appeared and began to clap his hands.

"POLITOED VS CROBAT! BEGIN!"

Politoed immediately started off by going straight for a Swagger, which got Crobat as he began to fly around unsteadily.

"Now my dear! Use Psychic!" Politoed then glowed blue as Crobat froze in the air and was slammed to the ground.

"SuperSonic!" Opening his mouth, Crobat sent out a massive screech, forcing Politoed to cover his ear holes.

Thankfully, Crobat snapped out of his confusion from that.

"Arial Ace into Poison Fang!" Quickly dodging the random Water Guns Politoed was spewing, Crobat maneuvered himself to behind Politoed and sank his fangs into Politoed's back.

"Politoed, darling! Use Rest!" Thankfully he heard her as he plopped onto the ground asleep.

Brock, however, remembered Ash's Snorlax and Heracross.

He knew what was coming up.

"Use Cross Poison! And then Giga Drain!" Crobat wasted no time in striking Politoed again, and this time he glowed purple, showing he had been poisoned.

Politoed suddenly shot up …

And began singing a song.

Brock and Crobat gulped.

Perish Song.

If Brock wanted to keep Crobat healthy for the next fight, he had to end it NOW.

"KEEP GIGA DRAINING!" Crobat complied, as he kept sucking off the energy Politoed had, while also inflicting Poison damage.

"Use Venoshock!" AT that moment, Politoed woke up and got stabbed by the tendrils Crobat had released.

"Hyper Voice, my darling!" Politoed took a deep breath and screamed at Crobat, forcing the tendrils to let go of him.

Politoed didn't stop there, his eyes glowed blue and Crobat once again found himself in the blue field of Psychic.

Crobat had been slammed 3 times over into the ceiling when Politoed glowed purple, breaking his hold on Crobat.

He didn't hesitate to use Giga Drain on Politoed and got some energy back.

"YOU HAVE 2 MINUTES REMAINING." A voice rang out in their heads.

They both knew what that meant.

"Use Venoshock!"

"Use Rest, my dear!" The Venoshock hit Politoed before he went to sleep, but he fell asleep fast enough to heal up from the damage dealt to him.

His eyelids glowed blue as Crobat was again shot into the ceiling.

However it was easy for Crobat to break free after the hit, so he struck back with Giga Drain.

"YOU HAVE ONE MINUTE REMAINING."

THAT woke up Politoed, and he then summoned a swirl of water from a Hydro Pump and shot it straight at Crobat.

He Arial Aced over it and hit Politoed with another Giga Drain, but this time, Politoed struck him with an Ice Punch which began to freeze him …

Before they both heard it.

"TIME'S UP."

With that, they both fell to the ground with Swirly Eyes.

"DUE TO PERISH SONG, BOTH CROBAT AND POLITOED ARE UNABLE TO BATTLE! TRAINERS, SEND OUT YOUR NEXT POKÉMON!" With that, Brock brought out Croagunk, while Morgan brought out …

Well…

"Oh, Ash is going to clobber me if I don't beat this." What was staring at him was an Alolan Raichu.

This normally wouldn't bother him, and he would be confident …

If it wasn't for the fact that Alolan Raichu are Electric/PSYCHICtypes.

Which for a Poison/Fighting type like Croagunk, was a literal headache.

Croagunk, however, wasn't scared.

If anything, he looked eager.

"CROAGUNK VS ALOLA RAICHU! BEGIN!"

"Magnet Rise, my Darling!" Raichu then began to surf on her tail.

And hovered out of reach of Croagunk's punch.

"Croagunk, DIG!" Croagunk jumped into the dirt of the arena floor and vanished from sight.

Raichu closed her eyes, looking for where Croagunk was.

Morgan was wondering why Brock had Croagunk use Dig when Magnet Rise was in use.

"NOW USE X-SCISSOR!" Croagunk shot up out of the ground BEHIND where Raichu was, with his arms glowing a greenish white in an X pattern.

Raichu swung around just in time to get git by the super effective bug attack and sent back into the ground, barely orienting herself in time to still be hovering.

Croagunk landed and suddenly began to spark.

"What the-! I thought Alola Raichu didn't have the Static ability!" Brock called out as Morgan giggled.

"Oh, Raichu was charging a Thunder Wave attack when Croagunk came out as she can't focus on electric attacks when she's using Magnet Rise. Now use Psychic!" Raichu again glowed blue and because of the Paralysis Croagunk suffered earlier made sure he couldn't get out of the way.

Croagunk was sent straight into the ground and shakily stood up as …

"RAICHU! TAKEDOWN, DARLING!" He then got slammed in the stomach by the Raichu and sent flying into the air.

Raichu smirked until she suddenly screamed in pain as she glowed purple.

"Poison Point?" Brock said confused as he recalled the Hidden Ability of Croagunk.

One he definitely didn't have at the time of the end of the original timeline.

Croagunk back flipped onto his feet and leapt for Raichu who was falling to the ground.

Tendrils suddenly began to shoot off his body as they slammed into Raichu, forcing her to scream even further in agony.

"You can feel it, don't you, Psychic Mouse?" Brock gulped at the tone Croagunk was using.

He never talked like that.

"Right through your type, the pain of the poison!" Brock was getting ready to forfeit Croagunk when Raichu then dispelled Magnet Rise and activated Lighting Terrain.

She zoomed away, and only stopped when she glowed purple.

"Shockwave, Darling!" Raichu then sent out an electrical pulse that reacted with the electrical terrain as it sent a massive pack of bolts towards Croagunk …

Who just used Bulldoze to block it and then dove underground again.

Raichu was now spinning around, trying to figure out where Croagunk was.

Unfortunately, she then shut her eyes when the Poison dealt its damage …

And then Croagunk shot out of the ground, connecting with her chin.

Croagunk then locked in place when the Paralysis stopped him from following up with another Bulldoze.

Whoch allowed Raichu to connect with another Psychic, sending him flying back.

Both Brock amd Morgan could see they were on their last legs.

"VENOSHOCK!"

"PSYCHIC!"

Both attacks past each other, with Croagunk's tendrils connecting with Raichu's body first before the double Super Effective Psychic connected with Jim as he froze in place due to Paralysis.

The dust settled amd they both stared at each other, panting heavily.

Then Croagunk smiled.

"Not bad, Psychic … mouse …" He then fell forward, with swirls in his eyes.

Raichu raised her right arm in victory as the ref raised his flag.

"CROAGUNK IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! RAICHU-" But he cut himself off when Raichu flashed purple and then fell forward.

She struggled to get up but flopped to the ground with swirls.

"DUE TO POISON, RAICHU IS ALSO UNABLE TO BATTLE! TRAINERS, SEND OUT YOUR LAST POKÉMON!"

Brock quickly returned Croagunk to his Pokéball, and knew he would need to have a conversation with him on how he acted.

"Thank you, Darling Raichu. Rest up." Morgan told the fallen Alola Mouse, as she turned her attention to Brock.

"Very well done, my lad. Very few have stood up to me like that, and given me such a thrill of a fight. But this is where it might become tough for your boulder! KAPUTOPS!" Morgan threw out a green Pokéball and what emerged was an upright combination of a rock crab and mantis colored green as it glared at Brock.

"KABUTOPS!" It declared as it waited for its opponent.

"Sorry, but after the fight with Lucario, Geodude was too injured to fight, so he was sent to the PokéCenter for healing. SO I had to register my starter as my third choice. STEELIX!" With that, Brock's giant Steel Snake emerged and roared, almost cracking the ceiling in the process.

The ref gulped at this.

Both at the sheer power of Steelix …

And at how much the bill was going to be if they destroyed this arena and the roof.

"STE-STEELIX VS KABUTOPS! BEGIN AND PLEASE HOLD THEM BACK TO WHERE THEY DON'T TRADH THE PLACE!" He called out before running for cover.

"We'll start, my beloved shiny! HYDRO PUMP!" The shiny Kabutops took a deep breath, looked at Steelix …

And turned around and fired the Hydro Pump at the ground.

Kabutops shot off like a rocket at Steelix, who barely dodged the flying Water/Rock type …

Only to have it grab one of his spikes and start slamming his back.

"Steelix! Dig into the ground!"

"SERIOUSLY!?" A shout was heard as Steelix began to dig into the ground and peeled Kabutops off his back as the Shiny then bounced back to his feet and began to listen for Steelix, waiting for the moment to strike.

"Use Thunder Fang!" Kabutops was taken completely by surprise when Steelix smashed his way directly underneath Kabutops and ensnared him in his teeth, electricity arcing around his body, and going straight into Kabutops.

"Use Mud Shot into his mouth, my darling!" Kabutops opened its mouth wide as it turned to the inside of Steelix's mouth and fired a blob of mud into it, forcing Steelix to let go of Kabutops as an explosion rang in its mouth.

Kabutops then began to fire at Steelix nonstop as he was getting his body absolutely pelted with the attacks.

"Steelix! Use Ice Fang!" To get Kabutops to stop, Steelix quickly made his mouth full of ice and again connected with the attack.

Kabutops, unlike last time, suddenly began to scream in pain as Steelix threw it out of his mouth.

"Huh!? Why didn't he try to make sure Kabutops got frozen!?" Morgan cried in confusion, as it seemed that Kabutops took more damage from the not very effective attack.

Brock smirked.

"Something me and Steelix have been working on. Normally, his abilities are Rock Head or Sturdy, neither of which are actually useful in this battle." He said, as Steelix smirked at Kabutops.

"However, we are giving up the side effects now." Morgan was confused until she remembered the Hidden Ability of the Onix line.

"Sheer Force!?" She shouted as Kabutops backed up a bit.

"Yes, Thunder Fang and Ice Fang and his other moves may lose the secondary effects like Paralysis and Frozen, but he will be much more of a tank. Especially after he Rock Polishes!" Steelix then shook a lot, as he then left less of a muddied look, and very nearly disappeared.

Kabutops barely dodged an Ice Fang attack as he fired a Hydro Pump at an after image of Steelix.

The Electric Terrain, however, was still up as Kabutops noticed something.

Whenever Steelix moved through a spot that was electrically charged, it gained a variation of a charge.

Kabutops then had an idea as he turned to his trainer.

One look was enough to understand.

"Get yourself charged, Kabutops!" Kabutops then took its mouth and scythes as it began to rub them around in a particularly charged area.

This time, when Steelix tried to dodge the Hydro Pump, it curved around to hit him in the face, stopping his run cold.

"Did you just have Kabutops give its water a charge to make the water attracted to Steelix!?" Brock cried out in surprise as Kabutops became surrounded by water as it slammed into Steelix, forcing him back into a very charged area of the field.

"Yes, and since your Steelix right now is an electrically charged magnet, it couldn't dodge the water, now let's make sure it's down for the count. EARTH POWER!" Kabutops stamped the ground, and the ground beneath Steelix began to push outwards as Steelix began to panic.

"STEELIX, GET OUT OF THERE!" Brock called out in panic, as Steelix began to try and slither around to get out of range …

Before stopping, and smirking.

It began to speedily snake around the charged area, doing an aileron roll on the ground doing something.

Then the ground exploded like a volcano, sending debris everywhere, even cutting Brock's shirt on his shoulder.

Morgan covered her eyes as Kabutops also averted its gaze.

When the dust cleared, they looked expecting to see Steelix knocked out on the ground …

Only to realize he wasn't there.

Kabutops and Morgan began to look around, trying to find a sign of Steelix, which they did …

When his shadow fell over Kabutops, and his tail wrapped around him.

Why?

He was floating in the air!

"WHA-BUT HE- I- HOW IS STEELIX LEVITATING!?" Morgan cried in astonishment as Steelix put the squeeze on Kabutops.

Brock was trying to figure it out himself …

Until he remembered what she called Steelix and what Dexter had told him about moves from Alola.

"You said Steelix was like a giant magnet when he was charged like that, right?" Morgan nodded, and then paled.

"By using the Electric Field and Autotomizing his weight, Steelix was able to use Magnet Rise, which means Ground Type attacks won't work on him anymore!" Brock then smirked.

"But this will. HEAVY SLAM!" Steelix wound up his tail with Kabutops still trapped within and let himself fall back down to earth.

This time, the field was totally destroyed as the full weight of Steelix impacted on Kabutops.

When Steelix slithered out and the ref got a good look at Kabutops, he saw the poor Shiny had swirls in his eyes.

"KABUTOPS IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! STEELIX WINS! AND WIOTH THIS, BROCK HAS WON THE MATCH AND IS NOW THE HIGHEST RANK OF THE BATTLE CHATEAU, A GRAND DUKE!" He roared as the crowd went crazy.

Brock walked to the lowered head of Steelix as he pets him.

"We may have taken a bit, but I think we're almost as close as we were before I went to Hoenn, and we're back in sync after the training we took to become Mega Evolution Trainers." Steelix smiled at that, then they both saw Morgan returning Kabutops.

"Thank you darling. You put up one of your best fights ever. Take a good three-day rest. You earned it." She told it, as Brock descended into the crater, as she shakily stood up.

She stared at Brock before smiling.

"That was an amazing fight, Brock. If you're ever interested, feel free to come to the Battle Maison. I'm sure my sisters could learn a thing or two from you." She said, before realizing Brock had extended his hand out to her.

"Hey, you gave me and Steelix a run for our money as much as we could without going to Mega Evolution. I would like to battle again one day." Morgan looked at Brock, then smiled and took a step forward.

Unfortunately, she forgot she was wearing heels in a cracked-up battlefield.

As such, she lost her footing as she grabbed Brock's hand, as her shoulder skin connected with his damaged shoulder skin.

Brock then suddenly realized he felt like he was sending electricity into her, despite not having a charge.

As Morgan then nearly went limp.

"MORGAN! ARE YOU ALL RIGHT!?" Brock called out worriedly, as Morgan groggily woke up again, and looked around like she was confused and processing something.

Then she looked at Brock, and he swore she looked shocked and seemed to have a look of recognition in her eyes as she stared at him.

Before She pulled him to where his ear was next to her.

"I'll be seeing you again after you exit the building, Brockorock." Brock's eyes widened when she called him that.

Only one other person ever called him that …

And she was gone, and he was waiting to meet her again in the Orange Islands.

Brock came back to reality when he found himself pulled up by the ref.

"Sorry, but because of the damage you two caused to the field, the prize money you would have won is going to be diminished." Brock shook himself out of his stupor.

"Well, I wasn't trying to win money anyway, so take all of it for the repairs." The ref took a sigh of relief as he then presented Brock with an egg.

"You still won this though. We have no clue what Pokémon will come out of it." Brock nodded, got his picture taken with his Pokémon and left the builing.

"What did Morgan mean by she would see me after I left the building? And why did she call me that?" Brock wasn't paying attention as he walked back to the PokéCenter.

He was so preoccupied, he didn't see a hand shoot out of an alley, cover his mouth, and pull him inside.

Brock was horrified when he saw the egg start to fly through the air before a pink bird Pokémon caught it.

He then felt the hand come off his mouth as he was pushed against the wall.

He then realized that it was Morgan who had pulled him into the alley.

"Morgan!? Why are you doing this!?" He asked as she then looked at him confused.

"You really don't recognize me, Brockorock?" She asked as Brock began to slowly raise his voice.

"Well, it would be nice if you explained how, you know that nickname and why I felt an electric zap on my shoulder when I caught you back at the Battle Chateau! Only one person ever called me that, and she was still in the Orange Islands last time I checked!" He told her, as she then looked over herself, and then let him go.

"Sorry, guess I should have remembered you never saw me in this outfit or in this guise." She said as she turned around and gave her hat to the Pokémon.

Then, she reached her hands up to her face and twisted something.

When she lowered her hands, Brock saw that she was holding green contact lenses …

As her hair began to unspiral from the drill it was put in, poof out a bit and became …

Purple.

Brock suddenly realized, as she turned around, how she knew that nickname.

Morgan now had two half open eyes with a purple iris.

"After all, it was that experiment that caused me to be split in two. One, a professor who didn't recognize you or cared who you were. And Lucy, the Battle Pike Queen, who had a soft spot for Pokémon and people who had slanted eyes just like yours, and who didn't reject your advances." Brock began to hyperventilate as she got nearer to him.

"Do you think, this time, you can keep me in one piece, my darling?" She asked, as her eyes stared into Brock's, as he sputtered out her name.

"Phi-Phi-PHILENA IVY!?" He shouted, before covering up his mouth, while Ivy just giggled.

"Don't worry, this place isn't going to be reverberating sound anytime soon. But yes, it is me, Brockorock. Complete and whole." She said as she stepped back.

Brock then looked ashamed.

"I failed, though. What's to keep the experiment from doing it again?" He asked as he held his head down in shame.

He then felt Ivy put a finger under his chin, as she made him look at her.

And she was smirking.

"Did you forget that when I am focused on something, I have a photographic memory?" She asked as she then pulled out a folder.

"I remember that suit I was working on before the accident and how my blind half had perfected it. It will be ready for the day." She said, as she then tapped Croagunk's Pokéball.

When Croagunk came out, he didn't power up his Jab.

If anything, he looked like he was expecting this.

"And you'll make sure that they fear you and him, won't you, Croakacroak?" Croagunk winked at her, as she then put her contacts back in and her hair returned to the drill look it was before.

"Hey, you said you had sisters?" She smiled and nodded.

"Yes, and we are related. However, we only ever show our identities to those we trust. So as far as most are concerned, Morgan and Ivy are two separate people." Croagunk then suddenly pinned Brock to the wall as she pulled out green lipstick.

"Now, I need to head off. I remember how my sisters get when I'm away for too long, but before I go, I'm going to leave a little something." She then began to apply the lipstick, smacking her lips together as she put the lipstick away.

She then pinned Brock's feet with her heels as she drew closer to his face.

"A little sign that you are mine and that no one else can take you, and a nice memento." She said, as Brock saw her face get closer and closer to his.

Then his eyes bugged out while his senses could only detect the sweetness of Orange Island Marmalade.

All the while, Croagunk just smirked, finding this absolutely amusing.

"So that's it?" Misty asked, as she was finishing up a call with her sisters and cousin.

"Yeah, if it happens you have to do what we said, little cousin." Kasumi told her, as her sisters looked eager.

"Then it's a bet! I'm pretty sure it won't happen for a while until-" Misty then heard the Center door ding as she turned around.

"Hey Brock! Been a long day at the Battle-" She immediately cut herself off when she saw Brock stumbling around like he had one too many, barely keeping a hold on his new Pokégg …

And having green Lipstick on his mouth area.

"hEy, MiStY. HoW'S iT GoInG?" He slurred as he then saw her on a phone call with her family, who were giggling like crazy.

"Um, Brock? Why do you have lipstick on you?" Misty asked, as she began to sweat.

Croagunk then popped out and used a regular punch to snap Brock out of his stupor.

"GAH! Thanks, Croagunk. But I'll have to whisper it to you, Misty." Misty then turned to look at her family, who were just smirking.

"OK, let me ask a basic question. Did a girl kiss you?" Brock, not understanding why she asked that, just nodded his head as she then groaned and put her head down on the desk.

"Um, did I ruin something?"

"You just made me lose a bet 5 minutes after agreeing to it."

"You can't back out now, cousin! But don't worry, I'll make sure THOSE TWO don't use them for ballets. And me and Daisy will make sure they are still training." Kasumi replied, as Misty groaned again.

"Fine, maybe you can help Horsea evolve. Just please make sure the dress and the heels are in good condition for one who doesn't like wearing them. And I just sent the address of the center I'm in right now." Brock then sweatdropped.

He knew how much Misty hated wearing dresses.

She liked shopping and getting clothes, yes, but she was much more an athletic girl than Serena.

"Don't worry! It still has a belt clip of Pokéballs! And it's themed after a Goldeen! Just expect some stares at the literal rear." Daisy said as Misty then shot her head up and growled.

Brock then began to slowly shuffle his way to his room, wanting to avoid an angered Misty for the night.

(ACADEMY CUT!)

"Really? So, you won't mind learning how to dance?" Serena asked Hitmonlee, who nodded as Ash gave her the Pokéball.

"Yeah, besides, he can teach other moves to your friends. And he learns Extrasensory, so it should be good. As for us, Gengar has learned the Punch attacks, and Greninja has mastered his Ice Punch. Zorua and Fuecoco are also on their way to learning new moves." Ash replied as they both got ready for bed.

"Tomorrow is the last day of my basic training, then we can continue Ash." She said as she then laid down in her bed.

"No need to rush on my account, the training at the Dojo has helped me out with Aura as well, surprisingly."

With that, both dozed off with Pikachu and Sylveon cuddling up to one another.

Idiot knew this was his last chance.

He couldn't let that pretty psyhic go with that Aura imbecile.

So this time, he had gone to a shop to try and get some extra muscle.

"And then, you can beat up the scrawny idiot for as long as you want, Reverse World, use HIM as a tool!" He told the mechanics as they all laughed.

*CRASH! *

They stopped laughing when the door was forced open …

And Gengar, Zoroark, Zorua and Ghastly had sadistic looking smiles on their faces …

While holding some mufflers.

"HOOOLLD ON TO YOUR LUGNUTS! IT'S … TIIIIIIMMMMMEEEE FOR AN OVERHAUL!"

All Idiot and the other three could do was watch in terror as the four began to spin around in a cartoonish looking tornado as they came closer and closer.

*STROICK! *

"WAH!"

THE NEXT DAY!

MISTY STORY!

Misty was grumbling the entire time she was walking around Saffron.

The previous night, she had made a bet with her sisters and Kasumi that Brock would find someone before her.

She said it would be about 5 months before he did, and as such, made the bet.

So, while she was happy that Brock actually reunited with Ivy and she remembered him through that Aura thing Ash used on them, it cost her the bet almost immediately.

Now, for one entire day, she had to wear a white leotard with pink leggings, white heels, white opera gloves, and thin translucent pieces of cloth that eneded in an orange frill.

Basically, her outfit resembled a Goldeen.

Which wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't the exact same outfit that Melvin had made her wear in the original timeline when she was his assistant.

She was getting very irritated by the numerous cat calls a lot of weirdos were giving her as she just walked faster.

She was also making sure that the belt that came with this outfit wasn't making her lose her Pokéballs.

And she only had Starmie, Cloyster, Gyarados and Tentacruel on her as another part of the bet said that if she lost, she had to send her two cute Pokémon to the gym for the entire day.

Thankfully, they were going to Kasumi, who definitely would keep Lily and Violet from using them for a ballet.

(CERULEAN CITY!)

"C'mon, Daisy! Horsea and Chinchou would be perfect for the ballet we had in mind!" Violet whined as Daisy shook her head.

"No, these are Misty's Pokémon, we are just taking care of them for one day, AND they aren't interested!" She argued as Lily was trying to convince Chinchou to help with a light show.

She didn't exactly notice the dirty look Chinchou was giving her.

"Oh come on! Misty doesn't need to know! And such cute Pokémon would boost our appeal!" Lily said as she stood up, having just come out of the pool in her swimsuit and ballet flats as she had to dive down the tank to do some repairs to the filtration system.

Daisy then got an idea on how to shut them up on this.

When she made a small motion to Chinchou and Horsea.

"Maybe you're right, Lily. We do have one dim bulb around here." Lily looked confused at that.

"What do you mean? All the bulbs up there are working fine." She then got nervous at the smirk Daisy was giving her.

"Oh, she is currently very wet right now, and standing in a puddle." Lily just looked down at her feet …

And then realized that not only did she fit the description of standing in a puddle, but Chinchou was giving her a VERY sadistic looking grin.

Chinchou then let loose her electric powers by putting her two antenna orbs into the puddle as Lily began screaming from the electricity coursing through her wet body.

"Well, at least I'm not that stupid." Violet said …

Before she then realized Daisy was holding Horsea up to her face, with the little guy absolutely smirking despite not having the ability to close or reorient his mouth.

"You just got fresh makeup on your face, right?" She asked, as Violet began to sweat.

Horsea then unleashed his ink, right in her face, as she stumbled back …

Right into the same puddle that Lily was stuck in, and both were electrocuted and knocked out as they slumped to the floor.

Daisy was smirking until she noticed that there was a camera nearby.

"Is that thing taking pictures?" Chinchou ran over and shook her head.

"Is it off?" again, shake.

"Is it recording a video?" this time, Chinchou nodded.

Daisy looked back and forth at the two who were knocked out, then at the camera …

As a devilish smirk began to form on her face.

"OHHHH, STARYU! KASUMI!" Kasumi and Staryu arrived in the room and found the knocked out sisters.

"Did these two do something again, Daisy?" She asked, until she saw the smirk on her face.

"Yes, but then we saw them having the camera here, and it's video recording." She told her, as Horsea then began to fill up numerous buckets full of his ink, but this time with a more slime-like texture to it.

"What are you planning?" She asked, as Chinchou brought the camera over.

"You remember Pokélodeon?" Kasumi thought about it, then she took on a smirk of her own.

"Ah yes. They too used Horsea ink for that, didn't they?" She asked, as Daisy whispered something to Staryu, who then glowed pink as it lightly use Psychic to stand Violet up.

"You do realize that Misty might want to get you with this stuff too, right? You did make her wear that outfit after all." Kasumi pointed out, as Chinchou made sure that the camera was picking up everything as Daisy prepared to throw one of the buckets of ink at Violet.

"Oh yeah. And I do intend to let her do it if she agrees to do it IN the dress I got her. Doubt she'll refuse to since she hates those outfits." She replied as Staryu made subtle adjustments to Violet to make it look less like she was unconscious and more just preparing to get slimed.

Kasumi nodded and grabbed a second bucket, as they both threw the ink at Violet.

Misty sneezed all of a sudden, as she walked down the Silph Road.

"Great, one of them is probably laughing at the fact that I'm stuck in this dress." Misty groaned before she felt her right foot get stuck, it slipping out of the heel.

"GAH! I HATE HEELS!" She roared as she saw the heel part of the heel had gotten caught in the space between sidewalks.

Carefully pulling it out so as not to damage it, she found a bench to sit down on and put it back on.

"Violet, Lily. When I get back to Cerulean, I am going to put you through SO MUCH WORK!" She growled out as she got back up.

And then someone ran into her.

"HEY WATCH IT!" Misty shouted as she saw that it was a receptionist that had run into her.

"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" She heard someone else shout, as she then saw a Rocket Grunt running towards them.

She then had a feeling she knew who they were after.

"Quickly! Follow me!" She told the woman as she grabbed her hand and helped her run.

"DON'T THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY FROM US SO EASILY!" The grunt yelled as 3 more then aided him in the chase.

"Quickly down this alley!" She told the lady, as they made a sudden left turn.

"Hold it men! This Alley is a dead end! We got them trapped." He told them as they then waited just outside for backup.

"What do we do now!? We have no way to escape!" Misty then looked at her.

"You're going to have to remove your heels, I'm afraid."

Backup then arrived 2 minutes later, as the Rocket grunts got ready to storm the alley.

"ON three. One. Two. Three!" With that. The squad of 7 stormed the alley where their prey was …

Only to discover they had vanished into thin air!

"What the- WHERE DID THEY GO!?" The lead grunt yelled as they began to explore the alley.

"They couldn't have used a flying Pokémon. We would have seen or heard it!" one grunt said.

Misty and the secretary were as quiet as they could as they ran up the fire escape.

They were being as quiet as they could so that the grunts didn't hear them.

Which was why they were carrying their heels right now to avoid the loud clanging that would occur if they had worn them.

Misty looked down briefly to make sure that they weren't being followed …

And saw the one from the raid on Cameran Castle, the one with the Raticate.

And he looked up at her, her eyes meeting his.

Then she realized he looked more familiar than just that.

She hadn't gotten a good look at him before, but she couldn't help but think about Rudy from the Orange Islands when she looked at him.

His partner grunt then looked up as well, making her worried they had been made …

Before they put a finger to their lips, telling them to be quiet.

Two of the grunts were looking around for any possible clue as to where their targets had run.

These two were looking ad well, but they were following secret orders from Giovanni.

They had allowed the secretary to escape so that she could get an alert to the police, but the lead grunt had seen her get out and started chasing her.

Then the girl in white bumped into her and then the mess they were in right now.

The one from Rota suddenly had an idea, as he knew the layout of the streets and alleys, so he knew this one had a fire escape.

Quietly looking up so as not to tip off the other 5, he checked the fire escape …

And saw the secretary and red head running up the fire escape, holding their heels in their hands so as not to make noise.

He then locked eyes on the red head as she ran up the second to last set of stairs.

He stared into her Viridian eyes as she stared back at him in his black eyes.

He quickly realized someone was near him, only to lightly sigh in relief when it was his partner.

He quickly put up one finger to his mouth to indicate to them both to be quiet.

She disappeared over the roof when the lead grunt saw them staring up at the fire escape.

"What are you two doing, staring off into space!?" He angrily yelled, as they pointed up the fire escape.

"We thought she could have used the fire escape to run away, but then my partner pointed out they were both wearing heels so they would have been rather noisy if they tried that." He told him, who just growled.

"Then they must have had a Psychic Pokémon who had Teleport! Back to Silph Co. NOW!" The group began to leave the alley, but not before the two looked up the fire escape and nodded before running to meet back up with the group.

Misty and the secretary were breathing heavily as they saw their chasers go back to Silph and begin something inside.

"What happened?" She asked as the Secretary was breathing heavily, and then Misty noticed her left ankle had torn tights and burn marks on it.

"Team Rocket invaded Silph Co and have a bunch of hostage Pokémon within." She explained as she stumbled in pain.

"I have to get to Officer Jenny, and tell her what's going on." Misty looked over the side of the building and then pulled the secretary down.

"I don't think that's a good idea right now." The police station had a Rocket Grunt in the front of it, and the Door was forced shut by an iron rod, with Officer Jenny screaming on the other side.

The secretary sighed, before Misty pulled her and they traveled over the rooftops to the Gym.

"A friend of mine is in this Gym. Talk to the trainers inside, mention I'm a friend of Serena's and they should help you." The secretary then began to make her way down the fire escape that was in front of the Gym, before she realized Misty wasn't coming with her.

"Where are you going?" Misty turned towards Silph Co and clenched her fist.

"I'm going to give a complaint to the head of Team Rocket."

Serena had Sprigatito, Sylveon, Braixen and Hitmonlee out in a meditative state as Sabrina was walking around her, making sure her area was neutral.

"That's it, Serena. Keep your focus on what is in front of you in your mond."

"MISS SABRINA!"

Sabrina turned her attention to the Gym Trainer that was running up to her.

And she then saw the secretary from Silph Co as well.

"Please, we need help! Team Rocket has taken over Silph Co and-"

"It seems they have come prepared." Sabrina answered solemnly as Serena came out of her state.

"What do you mean, Miss Sabrina? Surely all of us together could-"

"They have brought many Dark Types with them, and the building itself has blocked most Psionic techniques from getting in or out. Best we can do is get the street grunts out of the city and get Officer Jenny to ready reinforcements." She said as the Secretary began to panic.

"But Serena's friend is inside the building! She can't take them all on their own!" Serena became terrified at the thought of Misty taking on an entire Team Rocket platoon on her own.

"But I could go in and-"

"And get captured and then the fiasco with Ash happens. And if we tried to rush into the building, we risk alerting them to your friend's presence, Serena." Sabrina told her as she began to cry.

"Serena, is your friend that weak?" Serena then remembered Ash talking about his battles with Misty, how she was able to outmaneuver him at his own game sometimes.

"No, but I can't just-"

"We aren't abandoning her. We can be ready to storm the building when she causes enough headaches." Serena sighed but decided to trust Sabrina on this.

It was relatively easy for Misty to get in the Silph Co despite the ridiculous outfit she was currently wearing.

There was only one grunt at the front of the building, and knocking him out was too easy when he literally keeled over from seeing her.

Attraction or finding her situation ridiculous?

She really couldn't tell.

Currently she was on the 3rd floor, trying to figure out where everyone was.

"Hey! What are you doing here, girly!?" A grunt yelled out, as she then saw him charging for her.

"Starmie, Rapid Spin!" She called out as she threw her starfish's ball out.

"Gah! Golbat! Crunch!" Starmie had already been spinning when the enemy bat Pokémon came out and tried to bite it.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Starmie immediately fired one of its spouts right into Golbat's mouth, sending him flying into his trainer, knocking both out.

"I heard shouting and a fight! This way!" Misty began looking around, trying to figure a way to avoid them.

*CLICK! *

Looking down when she heard that underneath her feet, Misty was confused by the white circle she was standing on.

"INSTANT TRANSPORT ACTIVATED."

Then the floor opened underneath her as she fell down it.

"YIPE!" She shouted as two more grunts charged into the room, none seeing her go down the thing or hear her.

"SERIOUSLY! I FALL FOR THIS KIND OF TRAP!?" Misty shouted as she slid down the tube, seeing a bright light coming up.

She soon found herself coming out of a ceiling and onto another white pad as she landed on her feet.

With the clacking of her heels giving away her position.

"Way to be stealthy, Misty. Now everyone's going to know you're back at the entrance!" She mumbled to herself as she looked around…

And realizes that she wasn't at the entrance of the building.

And then she saw a sign that played havoc with her senses.

"6TH FLOOR!? HOW DID I GET UP HERE WHEN THAT DROPPED ME DOWN!?" She unintentionally shouted, unaware of a hand approaching her from behind.

At least until it covered up her mouth and pulled her away before 4 grunts came around the corner.

"Did anyone else hear someone shouting?"

"Must have been one of the female team members accidently activating the transport system again."

"I told them to take off those heels on their boots."

Misty was struggling against the one holding her mouth shut as she struggled against his grip.

Then, when she saw the grunts that had come into the room where she landed leave, she felt herself turn towards who was covering her mouth.

It was the same grunt from earlier that had kept his mouth shut on where she and the secretary ran.

"I'm about to let go of your mouth. Do not shout, keep your voice below a whisper." He whispered in her ear as he uncovered her mouth.

Turning around, Misty got a better look at him, and had a feeling she could trust him.

"OK, what's going on? What are you after, and where are the employees and captured Pokémon?" The grunt quickly made sure the coast was clear as he then handed her a card.

"A week ago, one of the Admins came up with this plan to take over the Silph Co because they were making a new type of Master Ball." That confused Misty, who didn't reveal that she had 6 and had never used them.

"Why? What's wrong with it?"

"Many people believe the Master Ball just catches Pokémon outright. In reality, it actually has a very low chance of failing. Silph has been working on making sure it is 100% fail proof, and they had recently had a breakthrough of a mysterious crystal found in the Sinnoh region." Misty was surprised to learn that as she then wondered what this crystal was that made such a jump.

"OK, but why do you need to capture those Pokémon?" The grunt looked very pained at that.

"Because that's the reason why the Master Ball even has a chance at failing in the first place. Even amongst twins, there are differences between them that while they are slight it's enough that it might confuse the Master Ball enough to where the Pokémon can bust out." He quickly checked around again before turning back to Misty.

"That's why we occupied Silph. The Admin is trying to fast forward the development of the Master Ball, and only make it work for Team Rocket. Currently, he and our boss are in the Chairman's office on the 11th floor of this building." Misty was about to leave when she realized he hadn't answered one of her questions, and a new one had come up.

"You still haven't told me where the scientists are, and why are you helping me?" The grunt suddenly gained red cheeks as he hid his face and head from her.

"The scientists are on the 7th floor, trapped behind an emergency door that the card I gave you can open, and I am actually from Rota and the Orange Islands." Misty looked at him in shock.

"My sister was having a hard time getting into a good school since schools are so much more expensive in the Orange Islands. But my Father was from Rota, and I grew to love the story of Sir Aaron and his Lucario." Misty then saw two tears running down his cheeks.

"He passed away when he tried to help a pod of Lapras in the Orange Islands, and I wanted to take up his legacy. Team Rocket had told me that they were going to protect Pokémon. It took my first mission in Rota to realize that they weren't totally honest." The grunt then began to walk away.

"Wait. If that's true, why are you still with them?"

"The money did get my sister into a good school, but the main reason is our boss. He may act like an uncaring businessman, but he's planning on taking down this corrupt organization and replace it with one that does what Team Rocket told me when I joined." He turned to her one last time, with Misty getting a good look at his face.

Her eyes widened when she saw who it was.

"If you're planning on taking down this building, some words of advice. Use the Transport system to get between floors incognito. You just weren't expecting it when you accidentally stepped on it.

Keep your legs crossed as your going down to slow down like your going down a water slide. And before you ask, the only way into the Chairman's office and the 7th floor is through the transport system.

They blocked the 7th floor and the Chairman made the Transportation system the only way into his office. Usually it takes a card to use it, only reason that you can use it is the same reason our female members keep falling victim to it." Misty was confused by that remark.

"And that is?" The grunt then pointed at the heels she was wearing.

"The card to activate it has two small points on it. Stand till you hear a click and then its activated. Good Luck." Misty was about to walk away before she turned back to him with a smile.

"My name is Misty Waterflower. I hope we can see each other again." She told him before she ran off, and the grunt heard her take one of the transports.

"Sheesh. Almost embarrassed myself in front of such a beautiful lady. Keep it together, Rudy. You have her name, so you can see her once this organization is gone." He told himself as he took of his hat, letting his auburn hair down, with his black eyes staring ahead as his cheeks were flushed red.

"Waterflower, hmm? Is she related to Kasumi perhaps like Red said?"

(5TH FLOOR!)

"STARMIE! USE PSYWAVE!" Misty ordered as Starmie unleashed the Psychic attack at a Hitmontop slamming him into wall as his trainer returned him.

"DAMMIT! I AM NOT GETTING BEAT BY SOME RANDOM GIRL IN A RANDOM GOLDEEN OUTFIT! ELECTRODE!" With that, the evolution of Voltorb emerged.

Misty took 5 seconds to think and returned Starmie.

"Misty calls … CLOYSTER!" With the throw of her ball, her Bivalve Pokémon came out with a smirk.

"Use Ice Beam!" An orb of cyan appeared above Cloyster's head as it shot forward and hit Electrode right in the face.

"Use Thunderbolt, Electrode!" Electrode began charging up his powers as Misty just smirked.

"Iron Defense!" Quickly closing his shell, Cloyster turned steel and waited for the electricity to attack him.

When it struck, the electricity couldn't get to his insides and as such he wasn't as hurt as the grunt thought he should have been.

That wasn't all that Misty had in mind.

"Now use Hydro Pump!" Cloyster opened its shell and sent a massive torrent of water at Electrode.

"Roll out of the way, Electrode!" Electrode obeyed …

And then the water curved and connected with Electroded, sending him rolling.

"What the- HOW!?"

"When Cloyster got hit with the electricity, it charged his water with the opposite charge of your Electrode, allowing it to curve and bend the water to connect!" The grunt growled at that.

"Yeah well it will take more than that to take out Electrode." Misty then smirked.

"Oh I know. It also triggered something else with Electrode. See, if an electrode is hit with the opposite polarity, it triggers a rather explosive chain reaction." The grunt was confused by what she meant …

Until Electrode began to glow white, as Misty and Cloyster took cover.

*KABOOM! *

The room filled with smoke as 2 Rocket Grunts charged in to try and help the now knocked out grunt.

"Dammit, WHERE'D SHE GO!?" One of them shouted, as Misty had again used one of the Transport tubes to get away through the smoke.

"Send a message to Giovanni and Archer! She's becoming more trouble than she's worth!" The other shouted as the one checking up on the knocked out grunt pulled out a Walkie-Talkie.

"So you see Mr. President, it is in your best interests and your employees best interest if you just cooperate with us." Giovanni smoothly told the Chairman of Silph Co, who had a distressed look on his face.

"I'm sorry, but I will not give up on my morales or let you get the Master Ball, Giovanni." The chairman told him, as Archer then stood up in anger.

"Either you get it done, OR I GIVE YOU A NEW TYPE OF MOTIVATION!" He threatened before an Arbok coiled around him.

"Thank you, Jessie. There is no need for such abhorrent violence, Archer. In case you forgot, if we do anything like that, Jenny would have no reason to not start a man hunt for us." Giovanni said as he then took a devious smile, which scared the chairman.

"That being said, while I can gurantee that the employees and Pokémon survive, I can't guarantee it to be PAINLESS." The chairman gulped at the implications.

"Please, Paldea has just been discovered, unless someone is able to find a Paldea Pokémon in Kanto, I can't improve it!" Archer then got free of Arbok as he then grabbed the Chairman by the scruff of his shirt.

"ENOUGH EXCUSES! GET IT DONE WITHIN THE NEXT 10 DAYS OR EVERYTHING YOU'VE WORKED FOR IS GOING UP IN SMOKE-KWEK!" Archer then froze as a Kadabra then used Psychic on his neck, made him let go of the Chairman and slammed him into the chair besides Giovanni, as an Impidimp then pointed his arrow like tail at his throat.

"Keep him quiet for now. On that, I can definitely agree that Paldea Pokémon are going to be a headache. We have some people exploring that region right now gathering data. Once two days are up, they will send it to you."

"But we need the actual Pokémon to-" Suddenly, the Walkie-Talkie Meowth was holding went off, signaling someone was trying to contact them.

"Boss's personal Walkie-Talkie. Please state the reason why you are bothering him instead of taking care of it yourself." He told the one who sent it, clearly not liking how someone decided to bug the boss.

"WE HAVE AN INTRUDER IN THE BUILDING!" Meowth then rubbed his head in annoyance.

"Then TAKE CARE OF THE INTRUDER, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" He shouted, which amused Giovanni.

"WE'RE TRYING! SHE KEEPS KNOCKING A GRUNT OUT ON THE FLOOR AND SHE KEEPS VANISHING BEFORE WE CAN GET TO HER!" The grunt shouted, as Meowth facepalmed.

"OK. Description?"

"Red hair, Viridian eyes. Wearing a white leotard, orange frills like a Goldeen, white gloves, and white heels sir! I think she's using the Transport system to outmaneuver us!" Meowth slowly turned to Archer with a look of annoyance.

"Gee, it's almost as if youse screwed us by setting dat map of the system ON FIRE!" He told him as Archer growled.

"You're seriously telling me we are having trouble with a ridiculous little girl in a overblown COSTUME?"

"She's taken out half of us! And has the keycard to get the scientists and Pokémon!" The grunt shouted, as Archer ran his hand down his face.

"THAT'S IT! I'M PERSONALLY GOING TO GRILL THIS FISH GIRL! I'M ON MY WAY DOWN!" Archer shouted as he grabbed a card and left the room.

Giovanni and the TRio waited until he closed the door.

"Finally. Thought that moron would never leave." Red said as he dropped the act.

"Indeed. Now, about what you were saying about DNA?" The Chairman said as he got back to what he and Red had talked about before Archer forced himself into the conversation.

"Yes. Would putting it on the button itself help with making sure the non standard team members and those that are in a wanted system?"

Misty was coming out of the Transport system as she landed softly to where no one would have heard her.

Quickly peeking around a wall, she saw no one around.

But she did see several captive Pokémon that were crying for help.

Stealthily (as stealthily as you can get in a white leotard and clacking heels can be) she made her way inside the holding cells, where the Pokémon looked at her in horror, thinking she was there to hurt them.

"Shhhh! Don't make a sound just yet, give me a few moments to get these cages open." She whispered as she began to unlock them.

"AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, GOLDEEN GIRL!?" Misty whirled around to see a man in a business suit with blue hair …

And a slightly angered look on his face.

"Oh, I was thinking if unlocking these Pokémon, getting the scientists out, taking down your boss and then going back to the Pokémon Center to get out of this ridiculous dress. So do you mind not bugging me?" She asked cockily, which only served to infuriate the man.

"SHUT IT! YOU'RE MAKING ME LOSE WHAT'S HAPPENEING WITH OUR LEADER AND THE CHAIRMAN! AND YOU'RE SOMEHOW DOING THIS IN THAT RIDICULOUS COSTUME! HOUNDOUR! IT'S SUSHI TIME!" Archer shouted as a black dog Pokémon with a white skull cap appeared and growled at Misty.

"Alright then. TENTACRUEL!" With that, Misty's newest capture appeared.

It was slightly out of its element, but Tentacruel had faith in his trainer.

"HOUNDOUR USE THUNDERFANG!" Houndour's mouth crackled with electricity as it charged straight for Tentacruel.

They both just looked at each other.

THIS was a Rocket Admin?

Well, might as well.

"Muddy Water." Brown water surrounded Tentacruel as they slammed into each other, the partial Ground energy protecting Tentacruel from the THunderfang.

"Now Sludge Wave!" This time, purple slime surrounded Tentacruel as it washed over Houndour again.

Archer growled when he saw Houndour glow purple.

"USE FIRE FANG! BURN THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND!"

"DON'T LET THEM, TENTACRUEL! USE SURF! AND COMBINE IT WITH VENOSHOCK!"

Tentacruel was on top of the wave as it hit Houndour, and it had a devilish look when it used the wave to transfer the Venoshock attack straight into Houndour's mouth.

Houndour staggered to its feet before it became engulfed in a purple glow and fell to its side.

"DAMN YOU! HOUNDOUR RETURN! HOUNDOOM!" Misty and Tentacruel just shook their heads at this.

If the guy had a Houndoom, why lead with a Houndour?

"Tentacruel, you want a break?" Tentacruel nodded, and Misty returned it to its Pokéball.

"MISTY CALLS STARMIE!" Starmie 'HIYAA'D' as it appeared on the battlefield.

"BIG MISTAKE SENDING OUT A PSYCHIC TO FIGHT A DARK TYPE! USE CRUNCH!" Houndoom charged at Starmie, its teeth bared out with a glisten.

"Use Hydro Pump." Misty simply told it, as Starmie lowered itself to let Houndoom soar over it as it lunged for it, and then fired the Super Effective Water attack right into its mouth.

"DAMN YOU! USE INFERNO!" This time, Houndoom pinned Starmie to the ground as its body lit up, sending Starmie flying when it connected.

"STARMIE! HANG IN THERE!" Despite flashing red, Starmie stood up, and Rapid Spun into Houndoom's body, knocking it back.

"YES! NOW USE FOUL PLAY!" Houndoom stood fast, waiting for Starmie to come to it.

"Use Brine!" Both Archer and Houndoom paled when they heard that …

And Houndoom slammed into the wall when the extra oomph from Starmie being below half its stamina took effect.

"USE SCALD AND WATER PULSE!" Misty called out as Starmie created an ultra heated water ring and slammed it straight into Houndoom.

Houndoom got up, but it flashed red just like Starmie, but it also began to stumble around.

"NO! GET YOUR HEAD BACK IN THE GAME, DAMMIT!" Archer shouted as Houndoom suddenly flipped in the air …

And itself in the rear with Thunder Fang.

"YES! HYDRO PUMP, 360!" Starmie began to use Rapid spin to hover as it then copied Squirtle's way of using Hydro Pump and sent water everywhere.

When it reached Houndoom, it had bit itself with Thunder Fang AGAIN, got it by the wave, and then flashed red.

And collapsed to the ground with swirly eyes.

"GRAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! DAMMIT, DAMMIT, DAMMITDAMMITDAMMITDAMMIT! DAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNN YOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU! I AM A ROCKET ADMIN! I SHOULD NOT BE BEING BEAT THIS BAD OR THIS STUPID! YOU'LL BE BEGGING ME FOR MERCY AT THE END OF THIS!" Archer shouted at the top of his lungs as Misty just stared at the tantrum he was throwing.

Misty noticed that Starmie looked ready to keel over, so she returned it.

"ONCE THIS POKÉMON GOES OFF, NOTHING IN THIS ROOM WILL BE LEFT STANDING! WHEEZING!" Misty actually gulped at that, knowing Wheezing could use Explode.

And it was clear what Archer's intentions were.

"USE EXPLODE! FULL POWER!" Misty began to panic, as she fumbled with a Ball as she threw it.

Wheezing had gotten to the part where he was about to explode when he found himself wrapped up …

And the Pokémon had a green glow, signifying it was using Protect.

Smoke and debris soon filled the room, but it was just the room.

Misty stood up after the winds died down, hoping her plan had worked.

Archer had a crazed smile on his face, clearly thinking he had done it.

Only to look in horror when he saw a Gyarados wrapped tightly around his Wheezing and glowing green.

"WHEW! My plan worked! And now you have no more Pokémon!" Misty said as Archer returned the failed bombing Pokémon.

"Yeah well, I can still take you down myself!" He shouted as both Misty and her Gyarados looked at each other with deadpan expressions.

"One, I have a freaking GYARADOS here. I doubt you'd get far. And two." Suddenly, the locks on the cages began to break off as the doors slowly creaked open.

"You're probably about to have a massive stampede on your face if you don't book it!" Taking that as their cue, the captured Mons ran out and began to run over poor Archer as his screams were muffled.

Misty couldn't help but laugh at that as the Pokémon found a way to activate the Transport tubes and get back down to the first floor.

"Well. Thank you for the warmup, but I have some scientists to save. Later! Oh and get a better team next time." She mocked as she then took another tube down.

"And as such, it would give us some much needed wiggle room. As we don't really want to force Pokémon." Red concluded as the Chairman nodded.

"Indeed, indeed. I shall take these into consideration. And while it's not official yet, it is so good to have you back, Champion Red." Red just chuckled at that.

"Save it for when I actually have taken that title. I've already got 5 of the badges from just running around Kanto on operations." He told him, as Meowth then walked up to him.

Hsh[pjsh0m.

"Thank you, Meowth. Seems like the captive Pokémon are free, and the intruder has gotten to the 8th floor. Shouldn't be long now before she gets the tube to the 7th floor, frees the scientists and comes up here since the tubes to reach this floor are on the 7th floor." Red told him, as the Chairman then opened a briefcase and flipped it around.

Quickly looking inside, Red's eyes shined at what was in it and then closed the briefcase.

"Make sure she gets this. She needs to let them know. Oh, and make sure you use this. It will heal her Pokémon." He said, tossing a small med kit to the TRio as they headed off.

The scientists had been hard at work.

Yes, they were working on the Master Ball, but the grunts that were watching over them weren't forcing them to do anything.

Moreover, they were making them work on safety protocols to make sure that the thing didn't fall into the wrong hands.

But they did know the plan of if someone stormed the building and took out the security and corrupted grunts, to run for it and the grunts watching over them would lead them to safety.

Suddenly, the door beeped and slid open.

"EVERYONE! YOU'RE FREE! GET OUT OF HERE!" A girl in a Goldeen outfit called out as she tossed the card needed to get the exits open.

None of the scientists hesitated to get the data and run.

The lead scientist, after making sure the good grunts took on the appearance of being beaten by the girl, walked up to her.

"Thank you so much! You were quite brave coming here alone! And you saved me and my friends! But what to reward you with?" He asked as he put his hand on his chin.

"Eh, me and my Water Pokémon can take on goons like the ones that tried to hunt us down no problem! Even if I'm stuck in this ridiculous Goldeen outfit." She said, as an idea popped into the Scientist's head.

"That's perfect!" He said, which confused the daylights out of her.

"What's perfect?"

"The reward I can give you! Close your eyes, young lady, and prepare for the best reward ever!" Even though she didn't want to, mostly because Misty expected it to go with the ridiculous outfit she was wearing, she nonetheless complied, closed her eyes, and held out her right hand.

She then felt something spherical enter her hand …

And the unmistakable button of a …

"A Pokéball?" She asked, as the scientist looked excited.

"Not an empty one! This one has been discovered in the Paldea Region! It's called a Palafin! The king of Water Types in the region! Take good care of it!" With that, he ran off with his friends.

"Wait! How do I get to the 11th floor!?"

"The room we were in has the only Transport terminal up there! Good Luck!" Misty sighed, and stood on the Transport pad.

It opened like a trapdoor and away she went.

As the Scientists were getting out, the grunt that Misty had met before was watching the events unfold outside.

"Well, your plan worked, sir. Now everyone's going to make sure that Master Balls are only given to those worthy." He whispered as he changed into his civilian garb and began to walk away.

"Still, while she was beautiful, that lady has the most wonderful soul and smile I ever saw. I hope I get to talk to her on the-" He then socked himself in the face.

If he tried anything, he risked blowing his leader's cover!

Misty had just exited the Transport tube as she saw she was on the 10th floor.

Looking around the small room, she saw another pad on the opposite side.

"Well, got no other option. Better make sure that this gets stopped." She said to herself …

Before the ceiling opened and three figures plunged from the roof.

"What the- WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" She shouted as she saw the TRio looking right at her.

"Well, we're pretty much a step BELOW Admins, and we answer DIRECTLY to the Boss. So, brat, we are needed here." Jessie told her as Impidimp began to laugh at Misty.

"And what is that little jerk laughing at?"

"Oh, he's getting a kick out of the fact that you, a tomboy, are wearing a pretty girly dress and somehow pulling it off." A tick mark appeared on Misty's forehead.

She was getting REAL sick and tired of this outfit and that Impidimp wasn't helping matters!

"Now, now. No need to explode on us just yet, Goldeenisty." James told her as she turned to him with a deadpan look.

"DON'T call me that."

"Whatever, Petite Dame. Eet eeze imperrritive zat ju take dis zootcase." James' Kadabra told her in her mind as he handed her a suitcase with the Rocket's insignia.

"What's this?"

"It has all the data on our current plans. Only the members that the Boss doesn't like will be attending them. Give them to Sabrina, she'll know what to do." Misty nodded, as Wheezing, Arbok and Meowth then stood in a line that clearly meant they were blocking her.

"Wese gots a healing remedy for all your Pokémon. But wese cants just lets ya go to da boss without putting up some resistance." Misty smirked.

"STARMIE!"

Giovanni/Red was pacing the room, waiting for the "SAVIOR" to arrive and fight him.

He had picked out his team of 4, that was all he needed.

One of whom was an old friend, and had been training to help take down this Team Rocket.

He then began to hear a sound, as the Chairman played the part of being scared.

*CLICK! CLACK! CLICK! CLACK! *

He couldn't help but chuckle when he heard that sound.

Oh, even though he hadn't met her yet, from what he remembered of the old timeline, his son had traveled with a girl named Misty, who was the replacement for Kasumi.

He was also aware of her being a tomboy.

So, he was honestly getting a kick out of her taking on the task of storming their own assault, while wearing an outfit that, from what he recalled in the memos Ash had given him when they met again in Viridian, she had originally been forced to wear an outfit that embarrassed her to no end in a magicians act.

Still, it didn't matter what clothes you were wearing, just your skills.

Not like he had much room to argue, given his OWN situation right now.

(A FEW MINUTES EARLIER!)

"Well, no sense in trying to be stealthy! He already knows I'm here and is probably waiting for me." Misty told herself as she ran down the hallway of the 11th floor.

Starmie with the last of its strength had done a good job at tearing the room apart without destroying the walls or building.

And thankfully that healing remedy Meowth talked about did indeed work, so Starmie was back up to full strength.

And she was going to need it as she ran into the room.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Really, young lady? You would interrupt a meeting between business men when they are so close to finding an agreement?" A deep voice echoed through the huge room as Misty looked across it and saw Giovanni, with a smug grin on his face.

"I don't know much about business, but I'm pretty sure that they don't usually include INVADING THE OPPOSING BUSINESS." She yelled as Giovanni laughed.

"Maybe, but the Chairman wasn't being very cooperative. Now then, with this operation in smoke, it's time for me to make my exit." He said as he then looked at the briefcase she was holding.

"I see that you beat my second highest team. Pity. I was hoping I wouldn't have to punish them." He said, as Misty then made a move to block the door.

"Well, I already pulverized them for you. Even then, I am NOT letting you get away! Not after all you've done!" Giovanni let a laugh escape his mouth.

"Really? Are you sure your up to it? You don't look like a battler dressed like that." That did it.

Misty held out a Pokéball and glared at Giovanni.

"You. Me. Pokémon battle. NOW." She said, as Giovanni held out another in response.

"Very well, your funeral, though you have dressed appropriately for it. KINGLER!" He announced as Misty threw out her newly acquired Water Type.

"PALAFIN!" She called out.

What emerged was a purple dolphin-like Pokémon that had a heart on its belly.

"PALAFIN!" It called out in a high pitched voice, as Kingler looked at this strange new creature.

"Use Hammer Arm." Giovanni simply told him as it charged for Palafin.

"Aqua Jet!" Misty guessed as Palafin …

Began to wiggle in place.

And got clobbered on the head by Kingler.

"Uh, Water Gun?" Palafin opened its mouth, before suddenly coughing and only creating a trickle of water that Kingler used like a faulty shower head.

"Um, Swift? ANYTHING?" Palafin looked back at her with an equally terrified look.

"It seems you have only just GOT that Pokémon. I admit, I have never seen this one before, but it must operate like the Goldeen line, Horsea line, or most of the fish Pokémon. It can't operate on land." Giovanni proposed, before he and Kingler took on a nasty glint.

"Which means it's wide open and you don't know what moves it has. KINGLER! BEAT IT DOWN!" Kingler then began smacking Palafin upside down, left and right, leaving NO chance for it to run.

Not that the poor thing could given its mobility was severely hampered right now.

Misty then hoped THIS move would at least help.

"FLIP TURN!" She called out, hoping it would at least get Palafin enough room to get out of there.

Palafin socked Kingler in the face, though the crab Pokémon looked more ANNOYED than anything else.

Thankfully, Palafin returned to its Pokéball when the attack completed, being safe out of harm's way.

"Sorry, Palafin. I promise I'll be better as a trainer to avoid this happening." She told the Pokémon, as she grabbed another ball.

"GO, STARMIE!" Starmie appeared and 'glared' at Kingler, remembering this particular Kingler from Cerulean City.

"Use Thunderbolt!" Starmie then unleashed the Electric attack at the crustacean, who just sat there with a bored look on its face.

"Intercept and redirect with Crab Hammer!" Running TOWARD the electricity, Kingler had water around his big pincer, as it gathered the attack and smacked Starmie right in the gem.

"Rapid Spin!" while being thrown back, Starmie was hardly out.

It used the momentum to start spinning much earlier than it usually would and slammed right into Kingler's face.

"Use Thunderbolt again!" Misty cried, as this time, Kingler was forced to take the hit, being unable to dodge with Starmie directly on it.

"Use Façade!" Giovanni called out as he saw Kingler Sparking.

Given that he was now Paralyzed, Kingler socked Starmie in the face, again causing it to go flying, this time, skidding across the carpet.

Despite that, Starmie staggered to stand up.

"Use Brine!"

"Façade again!"

Kingler tried to battle through the double powered Attack but slammed right into a table as the Paralysis stopped it dead in its tracks during the push.

"Use Surf and then THUNDER!" Misty called out, as Giovanni suddenly had an idea.

"Use the table to block the Thunder! Then Hammer Arm it!" Giovanni barked out, as Kingler grabbed both halves of the table, and used them as a makeshift charging shield to block the electricity.

It slammed straight into Starmie, who was then hit squarly in the center gem, causing little pieces to chip off.

"STARMIE! USE THUNDER!" Starmie let loose a surprise fast Thunder right into Kingler, who was thrown back to Giovanni's side.

When Kingler landed, he had swirly eyes, which made Giovanni sigh.

Starmie didn't fare much better, however.

When Misty looked at it, she saw that the center gem was blinking rapidly, meaning it couldn't continue.

"You put up a valiant fight, Kingler. You shall be rewarded later." Giovanni told the crustacean as he returned him.

"Not bad, Goldeen Girl." Misty growled at the nickname.

"But it will take more than that to take this one out. KANGASKHAN!" He roared as the Kangaroo-like Pokémon emerged.

"Misty calls CLOYSTER!" Misty's faithful Bivalve Pokémon appeared with his signature grin.

"Use Sunny Day!" Kangaskhan shot an orb up to the ceiling as it suddenly became bright.

"Damn it! Water moves will be halfed, Cloyster!" Cloyster took on a concerned look, but refused to back down.

"Now, Thunder Punch!" Misty's eyes widened at that.

"Iron Defense!" Cloyster quickly closed up and turned into steel as Kangaskhan's fist came close.

Only to stop inches form the shell.

"Brick Break!" Kangaskhan then punched Cloyster three times, before he was forced to open his shell, and got hit in the face.

"Cloyster!" Misty called out in fear, before thinking of a way to save him.

"USE AS MUCH WATER GUN AS YOU CAN TO GET AWAY!" Cloyster had gotten an orb of water ready to fire and create lift …

Only for Giovanni to smirk.

"Ice Punch!" Kangaskhan's right fist became encased in ice, which began to melt almost immediately due to the heat, and uppercuted Cloyster.

What no one expected, however, was the orb to shoot up to the ceiling …

And make it rain.

Once the rain drops began to hit Cloyster, he suddenly regained his smirk.

He then formed a ring around his shell, as his damage began to heal up.

"Oh my Arceus, CLOYSTER! DID YOU LEARN BOTH RAIN DANCE AND AQUA RING JUST NOW!?" Cloyster gave her a wink as he then took a deep breath, and sent little light blue flakes into the sky.

Everyone was confused until ICICLES began to fall and Kangaskhan had to duck and dodge to avoid the falling ice spears.

"YOU LEARNED ICICLE CRASH! NOW USE HYDRO PUMP!" Giovanni smirked in respect to Misty's luck and ingenuity.

But he could take advantage of this too.

"Thunder!" Cloyster let the Hydro Pump loose, but Misty was terrified of what could happen if that Thunder, powered up by the Rain Dance, could do to her faithful Water Type.

"Endure!" Along with the Aqua Ring healing him as he closed up, Cloyster closed up just in time for the Thunder to connect, as Kangaskhan took several steps back from the Hydro Pump that connected with it.

Cloyster opened his shell, but it was clear that the Thunder had overpowered his natural resistance to Electrical attacks as he had one eye closed in pain.

Even with Aqua Ring kicking in as he panted.

"Use Double Edge!" Giovanni called out, as Kangaskhan charged at Cloyster.

"Use Razor Shell!" Misty called out, as Cloyster rolled with his shell closed before slashing Kangaskhan across the chest.

However, Kangaskhan still connected with Double Edge, with Cloyster rolling back to Misty's feet with swirls in his eyes.

Kangaskhan looked triumphant before taking the recoil damage and fainting as well.

"Not bad. Not bad at all, little Goldeen." Giovanni praised, while Misty still glared at him.

"OK, I am getting SICK and TIRED of everyone commenting on the Goldeen outfit! Just stop!" She told him, as he just smirked.

"Sorry, Goldeen Senshi, but it's making you not think straight. NOW, PERSIAN!" Persian then leapt over the remnants of the desk as he grinned at Misty.

"THAT'S IT! GYARADOS!" Misty roared as her serpent of the sea roared in kind, thinking this would be a simple match for her.

"And now-"

"KNOCKOFF!" Persian, in an unnatural amount of speed, appeared underneath Gyarados and smacked his neck.

Misty then had a look of exasperation as she caught the flying Gyaradosite in her hand.

"Did you really think I would let you MEGA EVOLVE that overgrown sea snake?" Giovanni shouted as Persian smirked.

"Now, Thunderwave!" Persian then sent out a weak bolt of electricity, as Gyarados then became stuck in place.

The rain then began to stop, but Giovanni wasn't done yet.

"Use Sunny Day!" Persian used an orb and soon made it unbearably hot as he then began to use Shadow Claw up and down Gyarados, who still was trapped by electricity.

"Gyarados! Use Crunch!" Gyarados then began to bite Persian like a chew toy, who then swiped at his mouth and leapt out.

"Use Power Gem!"

"Protect!" Gyarados thankfully had enough time to put up a green barrier around his body to stop the flying rocks.

"NOW USE RAIN DANCE!" Giovanni commanded as Persian sent up a water orb to make it rain again.

"Big Mistake! Use HYDRO PUMP!" Gyarados had a confident look, preparing the water attack …

Before freezing with electricity.

And Misty paled when she heard what Giovanni wanted.

"THUNDER!" With that, the absolutely broken Thunder attack hit for unavoidable damage …

And Misty's faithful Mega Evolution partner, currently not Mega Evolved, fell backwards with Swirls in his eyes.

Misty had tears in her eyes as she sadly returned her most powerful team member to his ball.

"It's too late for tears. Send out your next Pokémon." Misty glared at the cat and his trainer, who were smirking.

Yes, she knew who these two were from Team Rocket and Ash, but that didn't mean she appreciated this OR was going down without a fight.

"TENTACRUEL!" Tentacruel emerged and immediately spat a glob of poison at Persian, before sending another orb into the ceiling to make it rain again.

"Big Mistake. THUNDER!" Persian attempted to send the electrical attack out again, but this time, Tentacruel wrapped him up before he got the chance.

Persian struck him with Shadow Claw after Shadow Claw, but strangely, Tentacruel kept healing from the hits.

"Blast the Hidden Ability, Rain Dish." Giovanni cursed as Tentacruel slammed Persian into the floor, the cat standing up.

"Try Thunder again!"

"Sludge Wave!" Persian got smothered by the purple wave, as he glowed purple.

"Now Venoshock!"

"THUNDER!" The tendrils stabbed into Persian, but unfortunately, that provided the perfect path for the Thunder to hit Tentacruel this time.

Enough that both were blown away from each other.

Giovanni watched Persian carefully and saw that he was starting to lose shape.

Knowing what that meant, he quickly returned him to his Pokéball.

"I have lost Persian, and I must commend your skills as a Trainer for making it this far." Giovanni complimented, as Tentacruel stood up once more.

It looked happy as Rain Dish healed up his injuries …

Before jerking from getting Paralyzed.

"Now then. The REAL test begins. NIDOQUEEN!" With that, the Queen of Poison and Ground types roared as it appeared on the battlefield.

"Tentacruel! Keep that Rain Dance going!" Tentacruel shot another orb to get fresh rain going to heal again, before Nidoqueen suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Thunder Punch." Her fist crackling with electricity, Nidoqueen punched Tentacruel squarely in the face.

"Use Muddy Water!" Misty called out in desperation as Tentacruel sent a huge wave of dirty water at his fellow Poison type.

"Predictable. Mega Punch." Leaping up to the crest of the wave, Nidoqueen's right fist glowed white before punching Tentacruel off the wave.

Nidoqueen was still in the air when Tentacruel landed on the ground …

And both he and Misty PALED when they heard Giovanni's next order.

"Earthquake into Thunder Punch."

Nidoqueen suddenly seemed to gain more weight as she rocketed onto Tentacruel's main body, causing the building to shake like crazy.

Then, it connected another electrified punch to the face of Tentacruel …

Who had swirly eyes at the end.

Misty fell to her knees.

After all this, coming back to a new timeline with her skills from the end of Ash's journeys.

From taking on numerous top trainers.

She still failed.

She failed to beat Giovanni.

Granted he was actually one of the top oldest trainers in the world, but it still stung knowing she lost.

"Well, you're down to your last one, little Goldeen." Misty stared up at him, confused.

She lost all her Pokémon!

How did he think she still had one more!?

"Did you forget who you sent out first and had used Flip Turn to get him out?" Misty then absentmindedly pulled out the Pokéball he was referring to and stared at it.

It was true, Palafin could still fight.

But was it worth putting him through all this pain?

He didn't have a pool to swim around in.

Misty stared at the ball and then looked up at Giovanni's condescending smirk.

"I wouldn't blame you for running, little Goldeen. It takes a lot of guts, then again, you were the youngest of the sisters, weren't you? Would you really have faith in a new comer like him?" Misty then lost the look she had as it was replaced with fiery determination.

"Maybe he can't win, but I'll figure out a way to beat you anyway! PALAFIN!" Her purple porpoise came out.

However, its eyes were glowing white.

"Nidoqueen, MEGA PUNCH THAT MAMMAL!" Her fist glowing white, Nidoqueen charged at the helpless dolphin.

Misty had frozen, honestly not knowing what to do, and thinking that Palafin was a sitting Psyduck.

As such, she looked away, not wanting to see her new friend in pain.

He had seen everything from within that ball.

He remembered how he failed to save his own pod from poachers.

Despite his special ability.

True he hadn't been a good first call, but it was one his friends had made without hesitation.

And that cost them when he made a critical error.

Alone, he had been swimming along the Kanto coastline, trying to either find some hint as to what happened to them, or just let it all end.

So, imagine his surprise when this girl, in a silly costume, suddenly was given him as a reward for saving the employees.

He honestly felt a connection to this girl despite having spent his time in that ball.

He had thought things would change.

But then his uselessness happened again.

He couldn't use a single water move.

Not even a small bubble attack!

So, his new trainer had him use an escape move.

And now, she had broken down into tears as the rest of her friends were hurt.

He couldn't stand it.

He couldn't stand seeing so many tears.

Now here he was, her last hope.

Still stuck not being able to move, with a Mega Punch coming right for him.

"please, if any power can hear me, please." It came closer and closer.

"No more tears. I want her to stop crying." The Punch was halfway to his face as his eyes glowed.

"please, GIVE ME THE POWER TO STOP HER CRYING!" He roared …

As time suddenly seemed to stop.

"Finally." He looked around, having heard a new voice.

"Those words FINALLY leave your lips." He finally saw the figure who was speaking, but he couldn't really tell if he was there.

"But tell me, why do you want to stop the crying? What purpose do you want that would warrant such a goal?" He looked back at his Trainer, who had looked away, not wanting to see him in pain.

As tears of his own streamed down.

"In the short time I've known her, tears don't suit her beautiful face. She has such passion for life, and I am reminded of a mate I had in that pod. I can't … I … can't …" He finally broke down.

"I WANT TO HELP HER WITH HER GOALS! BUT I'M A USELESS PALAFIN WHO CAN'T FIGHT ON LAND! PLEASE! HELP ME!" The figure stared at him, like it was contemplating something.

"Do you know who I am?" Palafin shook his head.

"I am you, in a way." Palafin then stared at him in shock.

"You see, I was born the day you evolved. I am your other half, Zero. You are the half that usually appears the most as we do usually just stay in water." He then motioned to the pretty girl who was their trainer now.

"But our true power can only be shown when we have a Trainer, and a team. They gave their all after you were forced to pull out. Are you going to let them down? Are you going to let HER down?" Palafin stared at her, as he saw the tears streaming down her lovely cheeks.

"I can give you the power, but I need to know what you will use it for." Palafin then looked at his opponent, who was ready to punch him.

"I am you and you are me. Can you handle the weight of this power?" Palafin closed his eyes, tears streaming down his face …

As he made his decision.

"Please." He looked up at the figure.

"Give me …" He then opened his eyes as he got a determined look.

"THE POWER! NO MORE TEARS! I WILL NOT GO OUT WITHOUT A FIGHT!" The figure smiled at that.

"THEN BY ALL MEANS, UNLEASH OUR POWER! OUR HERO POWER!" He shouted as he clasped his fin on his other half's hand.

Misty couldn't bear to look, as her tears escaped her eyes.

Palafin would be hurt badly, and it would have been her fault.

She should have retreated with the proof.

Instead, she pulled an Ash.

She winced when she heard Nidoqueen's punch connect.

"Nidoqueen?" She heard in a confused tone, probably wondering why she had looked away.

She honestly felt like a coward for not watching.

"What the- WHAT IS THIS!?" That shout from Giovanni made Misty look at the battlefield again …

And her eyes widened in shock.

(START PLAYING WHATEVER ANIME MUSIC YOU FEEL WORKS HERE! FOR WHAT I THINK WOULD BE A MORE POKÉMON STYLE, GO FOR THE BURNING BATTLEFIELD REMIX VERSION 2 FROM LIZARDON ON YOUTUBE! Nidoqueen had been stopped dead in her tracks …

By a hand emerging from Palafin.

His eyes kept glowing, but they took on a more determined look as another hand emerged from the other flipper and he PUNCHED her across the room, impacting the wall so hard, that Nidoqueen was IN the wall!

Then, the Rain Dance began to swirl around Palafin.

"PALAAFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNN!"

Palafin roared as he began to glow as he started floating in the air.

Misty knew it wasn't evolution or the Battle Bond she had seen Ash do, but what was it?

Palafin then went vertical, as three water rings surrounded his tail, giving him the appearance of legs.

His skin around the heart which now stretched to his tail area was colored black.

His head, however, had the most drastic changes.

It pointed forward as his flippers and arms buffed up, his face now having a heroic expression on it courtesy of water surrounding his eyes, and two watery shoulder pads.

"PALAFIIIIIINNNNN!" He roared with a much deeper voice this time, almost shaking the building.

"Palafin? What did you-?" Palafin turned to Misty, as he walked up to her …

And wiped away her tears.

"Please, Misty. No more crying. I can't bear to see you cry. We WILL win this. Together." She stared, surprised she could understand Palafin so soon despite still only getting like one or two words from her other friends.

But she then wiped her tears away as Nidoqueen clawed herself out of the wreckage.

"Alright, Palafin! Let's show this overgrown dirt pile what we do!" Palafin cried in agreement as he then held his right arm out and braced his left arm against it.

"JET PUNCH!" He called out as his hand rocketed off his arm and slammed straight into Nidoqueen's gut.

"Oh, my Arceus, THAT IS AMAZING!" Palafin smirked at her.

"You ain't seen NOTHING yet!" Nidoqueen had charged at him with a Thunderpunch …

Only to have him slightly move his head out of the way, and uppercut Nidoqueen with an Ice Punch.

Then he used Aqua Jet to slam into her gut, knocking the wind out of her.

He then ducked a Poison Jab from Nidoqueen, as he primed another Jet Punch …

And sent Nidoqueen through the roof, as he leapt up after her.

A news helicopter was flying around the Silph building, as a news reporter was filming the event.

"And we still have no word on the young lady who ran inside! We have gotten reports that she had saved the scientists but went after the boss of Team Rocket!" The news lady said into her mic as her cameraman kept trying to get a better view of the action in the office.

"I think there is some kind of fight going on in the Chairman's office, but we can't get a good view of-!" She stopped as suddenly, a Nidoqueen was sent crashing through the roof, and landed hard on it.

"Wait! A Nidoqueen has been sent THROUGH the roof! And it looks like some kind of Pokémon has followed her up!" The cameraman focused on the fight between these two newcomers.

"PALAFIN! PALA PALAFIN FIN!"

"NIDO! QUEEN NIDOQUEEN NID O QUEEEENNN!"

(MISTY AND PALAFIN POV! MOSTLY PALAFIN RIGHT NOW.)

"NIDOQUEEN! WE DO NOT HAVE TO KEEP FIGHTING! WE CAN END THIS BATTLE PEACEFULLY! NO MORE UNNECCESSARY TEARS!"

Palafin was trying to reason with Nidoqueen, as he saw no reason to prolong this fight.

Then, only from his, Misty's and Giovanni's view …

Nidoqueen shed a tear.

"I CAN'T PALAFIN! IF I DON'T FIGHT AND GIVE IT MY ALL, MY TRAINER WILL ENDURE AN EVEN WORSE PUNISHMENT!" Palafin looked at Giovanni in confusion when Nidoqueen declared THAT.

"What do you mean!? What has he done for you!?"

"He caught me by accident years ago in the Safari Zone, long before Kaiser found Dratini and became the warden! I was the object of two warring Nidoking, but he accidentally caught me when he snuck in a Pokéball!"

"So!? What has he done as a Trainer!? Seems to me that he-!"

"DON'T LUMP HIM TOGETHER WITH THOSE IDIOTS! HE HAD A CHANCE AT A FAMILY! AND HE WAS GOING TO GIVE ME ONE TOO BEFORE HE WAS FORCED INTO THIS ROLE! I WANT TO SAVE HIM, TO PROTECT HIM FROM THOSE THAT HURT HIM!" Palafin was taken aback by this.

Guess more was riding this than he thought.

That did not mean he wouldn't stop.

"I am sorry for the pain the two of you are going through, and I want to help. But I can't let her down either. So, I am sorry, but I must defeat you!" Palafin declared as he took a battle stance.

"That is what I want! I would rather lose to you than to run away! COME AT ME PALAFIN!" Nidoqueen yelled as Giovanni nodded.

"Use Thunderpunch!" Misty shook herself out of her stupor when she heard Giovanni shout that.

"Dodge it with Aqua Jet!" Palafin jumped to the left, the added speed of Aqua Jet avoiding the punch attack.

"Now, Rain Dance!" Palafin created a smaller fist as he shot it into the air, as he held out his other arm.

"SPLIT! AND GET MIXED!" He called out as he clenched his fist, as a storm cloud then appeared over them.

It began to rain heavily as Palafin then got bigger fists.

"Nidoqueen! Use Thunder!" Nidoqueen tried to use the storm to her advantage, but Palafin suddenly vanished and elbowed her in the head.

"USE THUNDERBOLT!" Nidoqueen then tried to focus the electricity into her horn pointed at Palafin …

But he just used Aqua Jet to get in close to her, grab her arm and horn, and throw her into the air.

"USE HYPER BEAM!" Giovanni called out, as Misty hoped Palafin knew this attack.

"USE HYDRO PUMP!" Palafin cupped his hands to his mouth and charged water energy around his cannon area.

When Nidoqueen let loose the Hyper Beam, it collided with the torrent of water, as neither side gained headway.

Nidoqueen stopped from exhaustion and Palafin stopped the water attack to save energy.

"Use Aqua Jet to get to her!" Covering himself in water, Palafin jetted up after Nidoqueen.

Nidoqueen had gotten enough energy back to spin out of the way, and let loose a Thunderbolt, connecting with Palafin's back.

But Palafin just turned around to stare at her.

And then he held out his right arm.

"Nidoqueen, it must have been a long time since you fought like this." Palafin began, though no one besides Misty could understand him right now.

Though Giovanni could at least get the gist of it.

"I don't just fight by myself. My comrades, who came before me, fought their hardest, even when they didn't land a hit!" Palafin's mind flashed back to his four teammates, who fought to the end.

Even Gyarados, who couldn't even enter his Mega State, and had been taken out BADLY.

Or Tentacruel, who was going to need a serious checkup from Nurse Joy after this.

"But I carry their will. I carry … THEIR RESOLVE." Suddenly the cloud seemed to swirl around Palafin's arm.

"But it is not your fault you have lost this amazing drive. It just needs to be reawakened, and the root cause destroyed." The swirling got faster and faster as Nidoqueen stopped ascending and looked at Palafin.

"Maybe one day, we can have a TRUE fight. No strings attached, and not to the death." Nidoqueen wasn't bothering to do anything, just listening.

"For now, me and my trainer have built a new river. One we will forge with our OWN two hands!" He then braced his right hand.

"And this attack will show her my commitment!" He then aimed it right at Nidoqueen, who had come back to reality and was readying a Thunderpunch.

"GIGA DRILL JET PUUUUUUUNNNNNNCCCCCCHHHHHH!" He roared as his fist launched off his arm, and both collided, trying not to give the other the advantage.

But the spinning prevented Nidoqueen from fighting back for long, as she lost the Thunderpunch, and the Jet Punch connected with her head as she rocketed down.

Back into the building and becoming an impact crater on the floor.

(END THE AWESOME MUSIC!)

Palafin landed with grace as Misty ran up to him.

"I AM A LUCKY GIRL! MAYBE THIS DRESS IS ACTUALLY A GOOD LUCK CHARM! WE NEED TO WORK WITH PROFESSOR OAK TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO BRING THIS OUT!" Palafin made a heroic stance as Misty hugged him.

At lest until Giovanni pointed something out.

"Nidoqueen isn't done yet!" They both turned shocked to see that somehow, Nidoqueen was pulling herself free from the crater in the floor they had made.

Nidoqueen stared at Palafin, before she began to gather water energy in her hands.

"Use Surf!" Giovanni roared as Nidoqueen charged at him.

Palafin knew that Misty couldn't get out of the way in time.

So, he charged for Nidoqueen as well, who let the ball rip.

The resulting water blew out the wall full of windows, allowing the news copter to finally see the inside.

Misty stood up shakily after having survived that attack.

Palafin was in the wall, but he soon tore himself free.

Nidoqueen was completely knocked out as Giovanni returned her.

Then a Helicopter bearing the insignia of Team Rocket appeared next to the hole.

"Count yourself lucky, Little Lady. You did quite well. Work on your skills though. If that had been a real battle, you would have died. Learn that lesson well, young lady. And MAYBE you could be considered a real leader instead of a runt." With that, Giovanni leapt into the Helicopter before anyone saw his face.

Misty walked to the edge as she stared out before she turned to the news copter and knew it was showing her face.

She gave a small victory smile and fingers as she turned to the Chairman.

"Any easy way out of this funhouse?" The Chairman sweat dropped as he then pointed to a thing beside a cabinet.

"There's a transport tube that will send you to the PokéCenter. I think you need to get there as fast as possible." Misty nodded and then walked over to the spot after returning Palafin.

She felt the wall and the cabinet but couldn't find anything.

"Um, do I need a keycard or something?" She asked …

Before she noticed that the Chairman was looking at the ground beneath her feet.

She then growled.

"Serious-"

*THWUMP! *

"LYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?"

The chairman grimaced as he heard that echo as Misty disappeared, with the news copter never seeing her get dropped.

Misty had been sliding for a good half minute before she saw light at the end of the tunnel and landing on some soft pillows.

"Jeez, I've had enough of those things! I can see why Serena was annoyed with Ghastly and that haunted house playset!" Standing up and dusting herself off, she realized she was in the basement of the PokéCenter.

"Well, at least it saved me trying to fight paparazzi." She said to herself as Nurse Joy came down the stairs.

"Ah, I see the chairman had you use his emergency entrance to here." Misty nodded before she pulled out her Pokéballs.

"My friends took a bad beating. Can you heal them?" Nurse Joy quickly scanned them, then handed one of the balls back to Misty.

"These four are in worse shape. That one is in tip top condition. He can go a little longer without my expertise." She said to her as she headed upstairs.

Misty took a deep breath, knowing she would have to show her sisters and cousin her new friend.

She would make sure he didn't get dragged into ballets if it was the last thing she did.

When she arrived at the top of the stairs, she was surprised to see Serena, Ash and Brock at the counter, looking worried.

When she walked over, Serena looked at her in surprise before bawling her eyes out and hugging her.

"MISTY! WE SAW WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU! ARE YOU OK!? YOU DIDN'T GET TOO HURT, DID YOU!?" She cried, as Misty laughed and patted her back.

"Trust me, it will take more than clowns like that or this ridiculous outfit for me to kick the bucket." Brock shook his head.

"She means about the fight with Giovanni. And that new Pokémon you have. You almost got taken out by him." He pointed out as Misty lost the confidence she had.

"I know. All it means is I must step up my training. So, no holding back, you hear?" She said, with Serena smiling and Brock nodding …

Before noticing that Ash had an absentminded smile.

"And what are YOU grinning about, Ketchum?" Ash then seemed to come back to reality as he then smirked at her.

"Oh, I just had this wonderful little thought of you wearing this outfit, and Serena in her performer outfit, where me and a lucky guy who got you are watching you two perform a double Showcase." Misty took on an angry look, then opened her mouth to yell at Ash …

Only to then put a hand under her chin in thought.

"That … actually sounds pretty good. Granted, I need some help from Serena on my own Showcase, but I think I might wear this outfit again if a boy started dating me and he liked it." She said, as Serena then backed up.

"So, what are your specialties?" Misty then began to bend and contort her body around like a rag doll.

"Oh, I'm quite flexible. How did you and Brock expect me to pull off being a mermaid so well in the original timeline?" Brock and Ash thought back and realized she really had to be pretty good at contorting her body to pass off as having a fish tail and not legs.

"Wow! Do you think you could teach me how to do that!?" Misty then winked at Serena.

"Only if you agree to join in on a ballet." She said, which Serena agreed to almost immediately.

"Speaking of your time limit for having to wear that dress is almost over, Misty. Aren't you going to call your family to make sure you can get out of it?" Misty then had a smile, which confused both Ash and Brock.

"Oh, I'm planning to keep this outfit after today. So, I'm going to get Horsea back and show off my new friend."

"Hey, do you mind if I have Dexter scan him so we can figure out a good training routine?" Ash asked as Misty released her purple dolphin.

"Palafin!"

"OK, Dexter, out with it." He said as he pointed Dexter at Palafin.

"WATCH IT, KETCHUP. ANYWAY, PALAFIN. THE DOLHPIN POKÉMON. AND THE EVOLVED FORM OF FINIZEN.

THIS POKÉMON CHANGES ITS FORM IF IT HEARS ITS ALLIES IN DANGER.

IT NEVER SHOWS ITS TRANSFORMATION TO ANYONE AND WILL RESCUE BOTH SWIMMERS AND DIVERS ALIKE. POKÉMON OR OTHERWISE."

"OK, but what about that other form it accessed?"

"UNFORTUNATELY, I REQUIRE A DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT WITH THE DIFFERENT FORM, OTHERWISE I CAN'T GET ITS DATA."

"SUCH A SHAME A RECORDING OF THE BATTLE HASN'T COME OUT. THEN MAYBE I COULD HAVE HELPED."

"SHUT IT, YOU OBSCURE JUNK! I'M SURE TBAT IT WILL HAPPEN EVSNTUALLY! ASH HAS A HABIT OF BRINGING OUT THE WEIRDNESS!"

"EXCPET WHEN HE'S TRYING TO FORCE IT!"

Ash and Serena again put their Dexs on mute as the unheard argument continued.

"It always revolves into a shouting match with those two." Pikachu lamented.

"AT least Eve is polite when not doing that. Though she really needs to get new tips on fashion, those are outdated!" Sylveon said as she then walked over to Palafin.

"So, what's your specialty? How do you activate that form?"

"No clue. I've never entered that form before, nor have I ever heard of it before." Pikachu scratched his chin at that.

"mmm. That's going to make it tough to repeat to try and figure it out." Pikachu replied as Ash then showed Misty something.

And her jaw dropped to the floor.

"Guess I was right when I said this outfit was giving me good luck all of a sudden!"

All the Pokémon looked at her in confusion …

Until Ash flipped the Dex around to show that a regular colored Palafin was colored blue instead of purple.

"Seems you're a Shiny Palafin!" Palafin just looked at the picture and shrugged.

He didn't care about coloring, all he cared about was being there when it mattered.

Misty then picked up the dolphin and walked over to the phone.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I got some bragging to do."

(CERULEAN CITY!)

"WE WILL GET YOU ONE DAY FOR THIS, DAISY!" Violet called out as she and Lily ran out of the room, covered in Horsea ink as Kasumi and Daisy laughed their heads off.

"Ah, that was so worth it. Thank you Horsea!"

"HORSEA!"

"RING-RING-RING! PHONE CALL PHONE CALL! RIRIRING RIRIRING! PHONE CALL PHONE CALL!" That broke the two out of their laughter as they quickly reined it in in case it was the League calling.

"Good day, Cerulean City Gym!"

"Hey, Kasumi!" Kasumi took on a smile as her little cousin blinked onto the screen.

"Misty! How was your day in the dress?" She jokingly asked, before she saw Misty smiling at her.

"So bad that I'm keeping it!" Both Kasumi and Daisy looked at each other in surprise, given how they knew that Misty wasn't as girly as her sisters.

"I see no reason to take it back anyway, but what happened?"

"First, I got a new friend! Say hello, Palafin!" A purple dolphin then jumped in front of the screen.

"PALAFIN!"

"Wow! I've never seen that Pokémon before! He's so cute!" Daisy squealed, partially jealous of her sister for getting such a Pokémon.

"Yeah! And he helped me take down Giovanni! And I can't help but feel this outfit is giving me good luck because of it!" Misty winked as Kasumi and Daisy laughed.

"Well, since I'm assuming he's taking a roster spot, who do you want us to send back?" Kasumi asked as Horsea, Chinchou, and Staryu got in view of the screen.

"Send me Horsea and trade me Starmie for Chinchou! I trust you can help them further?" Kasumi smiled and nodded.

Misty put Starmie's Pokéball on the Transport as it zapped over to Cerulean.

Kasumi had gotten Chinchou and Horsea into their Pokéballs and was getting ready for the transfer.

When Violet and Lily stormed in.

"MISTY! YOU BETTER TEACH THAT SEAHORSE OF YOURS PROPER MANNERS!" Violet shouted, confusing the daylights out of her.

"Uh, what did Horsea do?" Misty asked before Lily shoved her face into the screen.

"AND TEACH THAT DAMN CHINCHOU NOT TO ELECTROCUTE PEOPLE! IT RUINED MY HAIR!" Hearing that, Misty finally had a feeling she knew what was going on.

"Well maybe if you had listened to me and not tried to force them into a ballet, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THOSE THINGS!" Misty pointed out, as Daisy and Kasumi glared at them.

"You two want another round of Pokélodeon slime tossing!?" They asked as Violet and Lily ran out of the room at that threat.

"Ah you used Horsea ink for that?" Misty asked as she had gotten the two while the sisters were arguing.

"Indeed, Misty. If your going to get me, fair warning I'll make you get it yourself in the dress you're wearing right now!" Misty then smirked.

"If you know a way to easily get Horsea ink out of this fabric, then sure thing!" Daisy winked.

"Oh I do, but those two don't know and I'm not giving it to then for a while." Misty winked back, as she ended the call.

"OK, Starmie! Ready for some training!?" Daisy shouted as she released Starmie.

"So, next stop, Celadon, right?" Misty asked as everyone was getting ready to turn in for the night.

"Yup, once Serena gets her checkup on what to improve first tomorrow." Brock replied.

"Actually, we won't need to do that." Serena surprised them when she was still in the room.

"I completed basic training, so I don't have to worry about going crazy like she did." They nodded as the entrance door dinged.

"So Ash, how was-" But Serena stopped herself when she saw it was Sabrina.

"Um, master? Is everything alright?"

"You left before I could give you something. To show you truly have control of your Psychic powers, raise this one to his final evolution." She said, as she held out a white and blue Pokéball.

When Serena took it, she felt like something probes her mind.

Throwing it, a small Pokémon emerged, with a white colored body, a blue hat with two red horns coming out.

"Where am I?" Serena heard in her head, with a male sounding voice.

The little guy looked around until his eyes fell on Serena.

And then saw Sabrina as well.

"Sensei, is this the one you were talling me about?"

"Indeed, Ralts. This one will be your Trainer and Trainee from now on." Ralts looked a bit nervous before nodding and letting himself be returned to the ball.

"That Ralts has been with us for a while. Even in the original timeline, we never found a good Trainer for him. I think you will be able to help him evolve into either a Gardevoir or a Gallade. He will also help you with your psychic powers. Have a good journey, my student and make sure to keep me updated with your progress."

Her part done, Sabrina then left the PokéCenter as Serena stared at the ball.

Serena honestly expected she would be given an Abra and not something from Hoenn.

"Hey, look on the bright side! You have a Pokémon who could become a dashing knight!" Misty joked as Serena shrugged.

"I guess. I just hope this little guy can help with Ghastly. Which now means your probably on his list as well." Misty looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?"

"That Goldeen outfit?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Did you forget what Ghastly did to me when we went to the PokéTower?"

Misty began to rack her mind trying to figure out what Serena was talking about …

And then remembered what Ghastly had done.

"OOOHHHH NO. HE AIN'T GETTING ME TO WEAR THAT IN A HAUNTED HOUSE OR FORCING ME TO WEAR IT WHEN I DON'T WANT TO!" She shouted, unaware of Ghastly being outside his ball and smirking at her without either of them seeing him.

"You heard the lady, Ghastly. DROP IT." Ghastly looked at Gengar in annoyance.

"AAAANNNNNNDDD what exactly is stopping me from doing it, say, in Koga's Gym?"

"GHASTLY!"

(PALLET TOWN!)

"And as such, Adam, we need to figure out a good way of translating Pokémon. Would a wireless earbud be sufficient to do so with you?"

"I AM AFRAID NOT, PROFESSOR. MY BODY WASN'T BUILT FOR MEDIA CONSUMPTION MUCH LESS HAVE BASIC MODERN FUNCTIONS. WE WILL HAVE TO FIGURE OUT A WAY OF TRANSLATING IT TO MODERN TECHNOLOGY."

Oak sighed, knowing Adam was right.

Maybe start with a built in wire headset?

"ALERT. THERE IS MOVEMENT OUTSIDE, UNKNOWN FIGURE APPROACHING."

Right on cue, the Professor's door was knocked on.

Grabbing Dragonite's Pokéball in case this person was hostile, he moved silently to the door, looked out its view hole …

And the Pokéball slipped from his hand as he stared at who it was.

Slowly he opened the door as his amazement was clearly shown.

"Stop that look, dad. After all, I never went down easily and you know it." He said, as he then took off his hood, showing someone who looked like an older Gary, but instead of a confident grin, he was stoic and seemed disinterested in things.

The Charizard behind him had a confident grin to it as it breathed flames in the air.

Oak just stared, with Dragonite releasing himself to also look in amazement.

"B-b-b-b-b-b-BLUE!?" He shouted in amazement, which he nodded to.

"Indeed, father. I heard about how Red has been found, and that his son is currently traveling the Kanto region. Do you know where Red is? Or the annoying girl?" He then tossed off his cape.

"It's time for Blue Oak to provide assistance."
