Like every good thief, Lupin has sticky fingers. And, sometimes, they even stick to his friends' belongings.

Jigen loved his hat. He couldn't live without it. He's had it for years,and every time it'd get damaged he'd get it fixed and would either sew it or quickly, if the damage was bad enough, get it to someone who can fix it back to look just like new. This happened to be the night where he could sew it himself.

When they arrive on the site of their next heist, all Lupin's Gang finds is the loot already gone, and a beaten up Inspector Zenigata. When he wakes up in Lupin's safe-house, Zenigata has to deal with the fact that he's injured, stuck in enemy territory, and that his lifelong rival now knows that he's transgender.
