Welp, 40 minutes was a lot better than she was expecting, considering she beat Yuri.
Eddie would wager she was about 2/3rds of the way to Serena's room (they seriously locked her in the highest point in the dorms, holy crap Leo Akaba can you be more stereotypical) and had successfully evaded any other contact with the enemy, student or teacher alike.

"Men start a systematic search for the intruder, move and start from the bottom up!" A voice shouted from below the stairs she had just gone up, and Eddie could hear the American accent the Japanese words had. "If you manage to find them and defeat them, I will ensure that Sir Phoenix promotes you to a higher rank."
Well, she dodged a bullet there!
"Yes Commander Brodie!"

…From the bottom up, so if she waited a moment for all the footsteps to go away…
Once she could no longer hear mooks walking about, she went back down the stairs, carefully checking around corners as she went with a mini-mirror keychain shaped like Fiend's Mirror.
And there he was.
The gun like duel disk- no, the card shooting duel disk at his side, Axel Brodie.
This kid could not catch a break with who he worked for huh?
"Commander Brodie, we've found the intruder!" Eddie said in her best military voice.
"Where Soldier?" He asked as he turned around.
"Right here, 'sir'." Eddie said as she activated her Duel Disk.
"...Right upstairs..." He grumbled as he pulled out his own duel disk, it was very modified compared to all the others she had seen, similar to the one she knew but it still had the energy blade like all the others.
"Before we start, I'd like to make this more interesting." Eddie said.
"Do you think you are in a position to make demands?"
She held up Starving Venom Fusion Dragon between two fingers. "Yes, yes I do."
Axel's eyes almost looked like they were going to fall out of his skull. "...So Yuri actually lost to someone."
"Yup. He lost an Ante Duel." Eddie said. "So, you can't card me without locking away his whole deck. Meaning if you want to get his cards back…"
"Fine then, if that is what you want, you terrorist." Axel responded angrily.
"Terms are thus: I win, I get a selection of cards of my choice from your deck. You win, you get your buddy Yuri's whole deck."
"He is a comrade in arms not a friend, but even so I shall avenge his loss, so you have a deal, one enforced by the power of the beasts."
And then Eddie felt a pressure bearing down on her like a beast hunting for prey, followed by the temperature raising.
She couldn't help but grin wildly under her mask.
"Well there you are, old friend, I was wondering when you'd show up." Eddie said eagerly, unable to resist breaking character. "Don't worry, you'll be reunited with the others soon."
Axel looked a little off put by that, but continued regardless. "Duel, I am going first."

"I shall first activate the Spell Card - Bonfire, which allows me to add one Pyro-type Monster to my hand that is level 4 or lower." Axel said.
For a moment, Eddie was worried he was about to add a Snake Eyes, but let out a little sigh of relief at the Volcanic card.
"I Normal Summon, Volcanic Rocket(1900/1400), which allows me to add a Blaze Accelerator to my hand. Next, I shall set one card face-down and end my turn." Axel finished.
"Draw. I'll start by activating Terraforming to add a field spell to my hand, which I'll activate! Super Quantal Mech Ship Magnacarrier!" The swirling blue of the stock footage dimension was really starting to become familiar. "Now then, you're not the only one who can turn up the heat! I special summon Super Quantum Red Layer(2000/800) with his own effect since I had no monsters. I'll then normal summon Star Drawing(1600/1000) who can count as level 5 for our purposes. I'll then build the Overlay Network! Stronger together, Quantals Forever! Rank 5! SUPER QUANTAL MECH BEAST MAGNALIGER(2600/2000)!"
Both monsters jumped up to pilot the big red cat mech as it landed, two materials appearing around it as it landed and roared.
"So does this mean the Xyz Dimension is now fighting instead of hiding like rats?" Axel asked.
"You'll find the cornered rat bites harder than you'd expect!" Eddie said, unable to not get hot blooded with her current persona. "I'll detach one material from Magnaliger to destroy your Rocket!" Magnaliger roared out a burst of flames that overwhelmed the living missile. "Magnaliger! Attack directly! Roaring Inferno!"
"Gurgh!" Axel grunted as the flames surrounded his body, his life points ticking down. "You need much hotter flames than that."

"If that was all I had, maybe. I'll activate Super Quantum White Layer(2400/2400) from my hand, releasing Magnaliger to summon it to the field! This will trigger Red Layer's graveyard effect, letting me summon one Quant from my graveyard back to the field, which will be Magnaliger, chaining to White Layer's on-summon effect of sending a Quant to the grave! That'll be another White Layer, who's effect lets me add a Super Quantal Fairy Alphan to my hand. And we're not done yet! I'll discard one card to show you real power! XYZ MORPH! RANK 7! SUPER QUANTAL MECH BEAST LUSTERREX(2700/1900)!"
Another mech beast shot from the carrier, White Layer jumping up to meet it halfway as the two Mech Beasts loomed over Axel. If only Red Layer didn't prevent Magnaliger from activating its effects, she could have attacked with both, but c'est la vie.
"I'll then set one card facedown and end my turn."
"My turn, I draw." Axel said. "Activate my Continuous Trap - Blaze Accelerator Reload, discarding a Volcanic card, to draw one." Axel continued. "And since the card I sent was Volcanic Rimfire, I can use one of its two effects- By Banishing my Blaze Accelerator Reload I can set a new one face-up. And I choose Volcanic Blaze Accelerator, and activate its effect to destroy your Lusterrex, by sending a Level 1 Volcanic to the Graveyard."
"I'll interrupt using the trap card I discarded earlier, Full Armored Xyz, equipping Lusterrex to Magnaliger(2600-5300) and making it no longer be a monster, meaning your effect does nothing." Curiously, the two actually combined in a more chimeric fashion, Lusterrex coming apart to have its legs turn into bigger claws and the rest of its bulk into a jet booster on its back.
"But I still get to activate the second Rimfire's other effect."
"And in response I'll activate White Layer's to add another Alphan to hand!"
"I banish Rimfire to send Volcanic Scattershot to the graveyard, triggering its effect to deal you 500 points of damage," Axel stated as the cannon was loaded and a three-headed monster bullet was fired at Eddie. As she'd seen in the Yuri duel, the RSV wasn't as good as with the direct damage, as she felt an impact and some heat but no worse than a baseball.

"Next I shall banish 3 Pyro-Monsters from my Graveyard to Special Summon, Volcanic Emperor(3100/2400) and when he is summoned you take 500 points for every Pyro in the Banishment." Fire erupted from the creature as her life points were reduced.

"And then I can set one Volcanic Trap directly from my deck," Axel added. "..." The man looked at the cards in his hands and then Eddie's field as he contemplated his next move.
Honestly, despite this being a fair bit harder than the duel against Yuri? Eddie still saw her path to victory.
And she could feel the power that would be, should be, hers.
"Didn't want to do it this early, but I can't let you keep that face down." Axel said. "I summon Chaos Summoning Beast(0/0)."
Eddie's grin under mask grew.
"I use this fiend's effect to sacrifice itself to summon forth its great master, come forth, Level 10! Uria, Lord of Searing Flames(0/0)!"
And there he was.
With a rumbling like a volcano, the crimson winged serpent burst from the fire left in the wake of Chaos Summoning Beast's sacrifice, looming over the battlefield as best it could considering they were inside.
The effect was downright comical, actually, as the currently 0/0 monster pushed at the ceiling trying to spread out. And so its effect activated and destroyed her set Limiter Removal.
"And to shore up my defenses further, by using my Volcanic Blaze Accelerator to Special Summon Volcanic Shell(100/0) in defense position. That is the end of my turn."
"Draw." Perfect. "I normal summon Super Quantum Blue Layer(1200/2000) to add Green Layer to hand, but he won't stick around for long! XYZ MORPH! RANK 3! SUPER QUANTAL MECH BEAST GRAMPULSE(1800/2800)! And when Green Layer is sent to the graveyard, I can discard a Quant to draw another card!" The dolphins joined in on the fun. Though since she Special Summoned she took 500 points. "I'll then use their effect to detach a material and destroy your facedown! Deep Sea Strike!"

"In response, I activate the Volcanic Emission you targeted to Special Summon Volcanic Trooper(1000/1000)."
"Blue Layer still goes to the graveyard, meaning I can shuffle three Quants from my grave back to my deck, being 2 White Layers and an Alphan."
"Volcanic Trooper's effect then activates. When summoned, I can add one Volcanic card to my hand."
Okay, with this many bodies on the field her path wasn't so clear any more, but that was fine. "I'll set one card and end my turn." And then she realized she'd still summoned Grampulse in attack. Whoopsie.
"I expected better for the one that beat Yuri, he must have drawn a terrible hand." Axel said as he drew and grimaced slightly.
"Seems like he's not the only one. Though you have lasted longer than you're so-called strongest commander."
"Then how about I deal with that Magnaliger of yours, it is a little too strong for my taste, so I shall tribute it to Special Summon, Volcanic Queen(2500/1200) to your side of the field."
"Oh no."
"Though due to that, I cannot normal summon for the rest of this turn," Axel said. "So Uria shall destroy your face down."
Eddie sighed. Yet again, her Magic Cylinder went to waste.
"Battle Phase, Volcanic Emperor attack Super Quantal Mech Beast Grampulse with Emperor's Fiery Fury!" Axel shouted as the pyronic monster breathed a column of fire at the machine.

This time, she actually felt the backlash, the flames lashing over her.

They felt like victory.
"I end my turn."
"Draw." Eddie said, grinning maniacally under her mask (thankfully she hadn't actually caught fire). "You know Axel? I have to thank you."
"Why?"
"You see, Super Quants aren't made for the offense. We're the defense. We're the last line of resort. We are at our best where others are at their worsts." Eddie said, energy pulsing through her whole body. "So right now, there's only one thing to say…"
She held her hands together. "WE NEED MEGAZORD POWER, NOW!"
The Magnacarrier exploded, the three destroyed Mechbeasts- Lusterrex, Magnaliger, and Grampulse, shooting out of the wreckage and coming together in a kick-ass transformation sequence, Lusterrex shifting into green as it did.
"RANK 12! SUPER QUANTAL MECH KING GREAT MAGNUS(3600/3200)!" Eddie shouted as the megazord landed in between them, shaking the building.
"What… is this…?" Axel asked in shock as he took a step backwards before the mighty mech that was breaking through the floor and the ceiling.
"Fusion isn't the only way to combine! Together, we stand fast against any enemy! No matter how strong!" Eddie declared. "I activate Magnus's first effect! Before the might of GREAT MAGNUS, EVIL FLEES!" She pointed at the biggest monster on Axel's field, the Mech King doing the same in synch.
Volcanic Emperor turned tail and ran, shuffling back into the deck.
"Coward! Stand and fight!" Axel shouted at his monster.
"And we're done yet!" Eddie declared. "I normal summon Super Quantum Green Layer(1600/1000) who'll bring Super Quantal Fairy Alphan(0/0) with him to the field!"
"Alright let's do this Pink Layer!" Alphan shouted before freezing as Uria stared down at him, a growl coming from the Phantasmal Beast.
"...Did that just talk?"
"Cards are alive, treat them with respect and they'll respect you too." Eddie said. "On that note. Alphan! We need reinforcements!"
"You've got it!" Alphan said, glowing Blue, Red, and White before splitting into three indistinct silhouettes.
"You pick one, I summon it!" She explained.
"The one on the right."
"That's gonna be Blue Layer! Which means White and Red get sent to the graveyard, letting me special summon the Alphan right back while adding another to my hand, plus another Quant from my deck of my choice!"
Alphan smirked as he Kamina Posed in front of Eddie… He even had the shades on now.
"Battle Phase! Everyone together! QUANTUM STRIKE-VOLCANIC EDITION!"
With that, they all attacked at once, the two Quantum's destroying the monsters, Magnus picking up Volcanic Queen and beginning to swing it around by the tail, further wrecking the building they were in, while Alphan booped Axel on the nose.
"What was that supposed to do?" Axel asked.
"A distraction!" Alphan said cheerily right before his own Volcanic Queen collided into Axel, sending him flying.

"Damn…" He said he exited the wall crater and collapsed to the floor.
"Welp, guess stealth's no longer an option." Eddie said as she went over and, again, put the boy in recovery position before stealing his duel disk and deck. And the holster for it, she was running out of space for these things.
"Ooh, there you are." Eddie said, grinning at the sight of the cards she'd actually be keeping.
"The sound of battle came from this direction!"
Welp, that was her cue to run.
Stealth was out the window now, meaning she was going loud!
"...Wait." Eddie said, before pressing Axel's finger to the trigger, grinning as it turned on the duel disk in gun mode. "There we go."
With that, she began running, holding the duel disk like a rifle… cause it kinda was. Or maybe a pistol grip shotgun? She needed two hands for it, it was surprisingly heavy.
And she did put it to use rather quickly as two floors up she ran into two Obelisk students she had instantly dubbed Mooks, wearing clearly Crowler-inspired coats and weird masks with different colored gems on them placed like third eyes.
Who both backed down without a fight when she threatened them with Axel's disk. She had his actual deck loaded up but she had no idea if it destroyed the cards so she would only fire if she needed to.
Though thankfully she had a rather easy time reaching the top where Sere-
"Lunalight Leo Dancer attack directly and finish this duel, sorry Barrett but I can't stay here anymore, though you were much better than any of my handlers," Eddie heard Serena's voice and then a grunt of pain as she entered the hallway that connected Serena's room to the rest. And she did it just in time to see a well built man with blue hair get knocked out.
"You're Serena, right?" Eddie asked as she turned the corner, getting her attention.
"Who… I guessed my instincts were correct when the announcement was made." Serena said with a sigh of relief as she looked at Eddie.
Eddie nodded. "Ed sent me, come on we gotta go. Still have two more targets."
"Sure… Ed sent you." Serena said. "Wait, targets?"
"This is a recovery operation." Eddie said, watching the hallway. "Three humans, three monsters. You're the last human, two more monsters to go. You wouldn't happen to know where one 'Johan Andersson' and 'Adrian Gecko' would be, would you?"
"What do you want with the two great Commanders?" She asked as they moved, dodging the debris from the now slightly crumbly building, and thus avoiding the Obelisk Force much better now.
"Someone very close to me wants their cards back." Eddie said. "Those two have Raviel and Hamon."
"You are hunting the Sacred Beasts… wait does that mean you have already defeated Commander Brodie?" Serena hissed.
Eddie held up the duel disk in her hands.
"Well call me a fool cause how did I miss that." Serena said.
"Same way you missed me beating Yuri- distance."
"...what?"
"I beat Yuri in his greenhouse, so you wouldn't have heard it, and with the alarms going it makes sense you didn't hear me beat Axel."
"Yeah I was busy dueling Barrett, so yeah that makes sense." She answered, clearly still struggling to process that.
"Now, if you don't know anything about those two Commanders, I can exfiltrate you right now to safety. But I'll leave the decision to you, I am not leaving till I've rescued all my targets."
"Well then I am going with you," Serena said. "And if you are going for them, we need to get to the east end, their places are there."
"Alright then Serena, you and me." Eddie said with a nod. "You can call me Layer, by the way."
"Nice to meet you 'Layer'," She replied.
"You know the layout of this place better than me." Eddie said, a bit confused how she recognized her. The only things visible were her eyes and her legs, had she paid that close attention to her thighs last time? "So I'll be following your directions."
"Follow me," Serena said as she led them to their destination with it eventually taking them outside and-
"Well I guess your hunch was correct Adrian."
"Of course, they reported Axel was taken out and was missing his cards so it only stood to reason that whoever is here would go for us to get the other two Sacred Beasts."
And standing before them on the helicopter pad they had to cross stood Eddie's other two targets.
Oh god, it was Exodia Adrian, if it weren't for the fact he'd been called the King of Dark World she'd be concerned for her health. As it was, she was concerned for his- what kind of roids was he on? Ravioli? Would that happen to her?
And Johan- her heart skipped a beat when she registered the Yubel-possessed outfit, before it passed as she realized his eyes were distinctly both green… and his grin was more playful than murderous. A bit sadistic, but not murderous.
"Well then." Eddie said as she holstered Axel's duel disk. "I see two enemies. You up fo ante duel?"
"This is going to be a tag duel." Serena stated.
"Was wondering if you were betraying us or being a hostage," Adrian said. "Did you finally realize what Academia's plan actually is, you naive girl?"
"I did and I am going to put a stop to the Professor's plan, so I am going to deprive him of his best men before I leave," Serena said.
"Well dang, and here I thought we were friends," Johan said. "Well we are going to have to lock you up properly this time. Can't you have you ruining our plans, are you ruining our plans?"
"Yeah…" Serena said, taken slightly aback by Johan's attitude.
"Storming your base, ruining your plans, breaking some brainwashing… Pretty normal stuff."
"Brainwashing?" Serena asked.
"Would have used it on you to make you more compliant but somebody burnt the lab down." Adrian said with a glare directed towards Eddie.
"Nin-nin, kid. Nin-nin." (Read: Bullshit)
"Wow! An actual Ninja! And here I thought that guy with the Shinobi deck was the only one that did that," Johan said. "So time to duel?"
"Stakes first." Eddie said. "You win, you get Axel and Yuri's decks back-"
"Yuri?!"
"-I win, I get some cards of my choice from your decks, each." Eddie offered, certain the manic grin on her face was showing in her eyes.
"Well you've got yourself a deal, Ninja Girl," Johan said.
"Bind this contract with the power of the Phantasmal Beasts." All three holders said at the same time.
"Let the Shadow Game…" Eddie finished. "Commence."
And then the swirling darkness from overhead descended.
"What is this?" Serena asked.
"Real Solid Vision but harder. Effect damage will hurt just as hard." Eddie answered quietly as the shadows enveloped them, preventing outside interference. "Don't worry, you didn't wager anything so you just need to stay up."

"I shall go first," Johan said. "First I shall activate the Spell Card - Terraforming. To add and play the Field Spell - Advanced Dark, now even greater darkness descends on the field."
The darkness got denser as in the background Eddie could see the outline of (Dark?) Rainbow Dragon forming, the looming threat actually sending a chill down her spine.
"Next I Normal Summon, Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus(1800/1200), and when I do I can place one of my Crystal Beast in the spell/trap zone as a Continuous Spell."
A dark ruby formed on the field and Eddie could easily guess who it was.
"With that I end my turn."
"My turn," Serena said as she drew. "I Normal Summon Lunalight Emerald Bird(1200/1000), who when summoned can send one of my Lunalights from hand to graveyard. And since it was Lunalight Yellow Marten, I can add a Lunalight Spell or Trap to my hand."
"Normal so far Serena." Johan commented.
"If you think this is going to be normal, you have another thing coming Johan, I Set Lunalight Tiger as Pendulum Scale 5!"
"You what?" Said everyone else in the duel in shock. Eddie was not immune, she figured they'd start showing up eventually but wasn't expecting this yet.
"I use her Pendulum Effect to Special Summon Lunalight Yellow Marten(800/2000) from the Graveyard." Serena said. "I activate the Spell Card - Lunalight Fusion! By combining the reflexes of a fierce feline with the fluttering fury of a night time huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! Level 7! Lunalight Cat Dancer(2400/2000)!"
After a cavalcade of furry magical girls came and went, an animal themed belly dancer shining with silver light appeared on the field, two very sharp looking daggers in hand.
"And since Lunalight Emerald Bird was sent to the Graveyard by card effect, I can Special Summon Yellow Marten in defense. Now Battle Phase!" Serena declared. "Cat Dancer, attack with Dancing Daggers, and since I am declaring an attack you take a hundred points of damage."
Johan & Adrian LP: 7900/ Serena & Eddie LP: 8000
Johan flinched a little as a thin line was scratched across his cheek. "I activate Advanced Dark's effect by sending a Crystal Beast to the graveyard, I take no Battle Damage, and Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus goes to my spell/trap zone."
"Fine I go to main phase 2, setting two cards and ending my turn."
"Nice setup." Eddie said encouragingly.
"I draw," Adrian said. "I set a card face down and then I activate the Spell Card - Card Destruction! And since it only affects turn players, only Serena and I have to discard."
"Tsch." Serena tsked. Meanwhile, Eddie was wiping sweat off her forehead because she actually had a killer opener for once.
"And since I discard cards, I can activate a bunch of effects in my Graveyard. Snoww, Parl and Sillva of the Dark World all activate, Sillva Special Summons himself, Parl Special Summon a Dark World monster in my graveyard and I choose Snoww, Snoww lets me add a Dark World card to my hand." Adrian rattled off. "Then I activate the Spell Card - Dark World Dealings."
"Draw one and discard right?" Serena asked.
"Correct, and only the two of us." Adrian said.
"I discard another Yellow Marten and get to add a Lunalight Spell/Trap to my hand."
"I discard Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World, and when he's discarded I can destroy one of your cards, I choose your right most facedown."
Serena grimaced.
"Next I send Snoww back to my hand to Special Summon, Grapha Dragon Lord of Dark World(2700/1800)," Adrian said as the familiar fiendish dragon was summoned to the field. "Next I will go to Battle Phase. Grapha, destroy that kitty cat."
Grapha's fist slammed down on the fusion monster but was not destroyed much to Adrian's confusion.
Johan & Adrian LP: 7900/ Serena & Eddie LP: 7700
"Sorry, but my Cat Dancer can't be destroyed by battle." Serena stated even as small tears formed across her clothes.
"Fine then Sillva will silence your Yellow Marten." The knife of the fiend carved the monster into pieces.
"I activate my other Trap Card - Lunalight Reincarnation Dance! When a monster is destroyed I can add two Lunalight monsters from my deck to my hand."
"Very well my turn ends then."
"Finally." Eddie said as she took her card. "I'll start by playing the ultimate, unstoppable spell! POT OF GREED!"
"How does she have such a powerful card?" Johan asked.
"Huh what does that do?" Serena asked.
"It allows me to draw two additional cards from my deck!" Eddie declared. "I'll then normal summon Super Quantum Green Layer(1600/1000) who'll bring Blue Layer(1200/2000) with in defense position! Blue Layer lets me add a Quant to hand from the deck, which I'll play immediately! Super Quantal Mech Ship Magnacarrier!"
"Huh somebody likes Sentai, hey you kinda remind me of Judai a little with that, he went on and on about heroes constantly," Johan said.
"Then let me remind you how heroes work-together! XYZ MORPH! RANK 4! SUPER QUANTAL MECH BEAST AEROBOROS(2200/2400) in defense! The Green Layer I just discarded will trigger, letting me discard another Quant to draw a card, which will trigger Red Layer's effect to bring that Green Layer back! But wait, there's more! I'll then release Green Layer to make way for Super Quantum White Layer(2400/2400)! Now, together! XYZ MORPH! RANK 3! RANK 7! SUPER QUANTAL MECH BEAST GRAMPULSE(1800/2800)! SUPER QUANTUM MECH BEAST LUSTERREX(2700/1900)!"
Three mech beasts hit the field in one turn, Lusterrex roaring in attack position while Grampulse and Aeroboros took more defensive positions.
"Wait, that isn't how Xyz works?!" Adrian questioned. "You need two monsters of the same level to do their weak summoning method."
"At least she is done," Johan added.
"Wrong on both counts! I'll activate XYZ Import! Adding Grapha as material to Lusterrex!" Eddie declared.
"What?!" Adrian shouted as his Ace Monster was taken from him with a swift bite.
"But wait, there's more!" Eddie shouted joyously. "I'll activate Grampulse's effect, detaching a material to destroy your facedown." Spirit Gates, eh, it was worth removing the risk. "AND NOW! WE NEED MEGAZORD POWER! RANK 12! SUPER QUANTAL MECH KING GREAT MAGNUS(3600/3200)!"
Once more, the trio of mechs combined, before a true megazord with a orrery of materials floating around it landed on the field, staring down their opponents.
"Battle phase! Cat Dancer, take out the monster!" Eddie ordered, the dancer stabbing Sillva in the back as she danced around him. "SUPER QUANTAL MECH KING GREAT MAGNUS, ATTACK DIRECTLY! RGB STRIKE!"
"Guargh!" Adrian screamed in pain as he was brought to his knees, his body bleeding and burnt.

"Main phase 2! I just read Tiger's effect, so I'll use it to summon Marten from the graveyard!" Eddie said. "And end my turn."
The fox immediately was destroyed. "Eh?"
"Not all of it," Serena commented. "The brought back monster is destroyed during the End Phase."
"I draw!" Johan shouted. "And… What error? Why can't I activate Opening?"
"Sorry for not explaining, but as long as SUPER QUANTAL MECH KING GREAT MAGNUS has 6 or more material, you can't add cards to hand via card effect." Eddie explained.
"That means I can't add… Oh no." Johan said as he realized his deck was now unfunctional. "I activate Advanced Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle in my Spell/Trap Zone to special Summon it, and as many other Crystal Beasts in my Spell/Trap zone as I can."
And so Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire rejoined in defense allowing him to set a Topaz Tiger.
"Next I set two cards, and end my turn." Johan said.
"Serena." Eddie said, getting her attention. "Use my card's effect, targeting his field spell. Trust me."
"Okay." Serena replied. "I trust you… so what does detaching mean?"
"The material around it are 'attached' like equips but stack under it instead, you send them to the graveyard to activate effects." Eddie quickly explained.
"Okay, I think I get it," She replied. "I activate the effect of Great King Magnus detaching a material to send your field spell back!"
"NO!" Johan shouted as the Field Spell was sent back to the deck sending his Advanced Dark Crystal Beasts to the graveyard.
"Next I discard Lunalight Black Sheep to add a Polymerization to my hand, now time for more fusion! I activate Polymerization to fuse three Lunlights from my hand to Fusion Summon the greatest sword dancer of the world! Come forth, Level 9! Lunalight Sabre Dancer(3000/2600)!"
The beast of a Beast-Warrior roared proudly as she entered the field, two long sabres in hand.
"And for each Beast-Warrior monster in the graveyard and banishment she gains 200ATK!"

"You are finished!" Serena declared.
"I activate the Trap Card - Rainbow Path, negating your attack and adding a Rainbow Dark Dragon to my hand!"
"You did the wrong one!" Serena said. "Magnus!"
The Megazord slammed down on the Emerald Tortoise.
"Now Lunalight Sabre Dancer finish them!" Serena shouted as the deadly blades of the dancer twirled in the moonlight that had appeared in the darkness. "Sword Dance!"
"Haaaa!" She roared as she sliced up up the two commanders.

"By right, return to me, my beasts!" Eddie said before the shadows could fade, the relevant cards actually floating over into her open hand before she grabbed them and put them with the rest in her deckbox.
Then the darkness faded to reveal Obelisk Forces surrounding them on all sides.
"You've caused quite a stir." Spoke the voice she hated the most in this world.
"Professor," Serena said as she looked at the man who was looking down at them from a balcony.
"Your little attack has caused some damage, but now you are surrounded with nowhere to go."
Many duel disks activated.
"That's what you say." Eddie said, feeling confident. "You know what I say? I say, XYZ CHANGE!"
"What-!?" Serena asked before she vanished.
Eddie spread her arms wide. "What now, false prophet? Your precious is far beyond your reach."
"They shall be found just like they have been before, a small delay in the grand scheme of things." Leo Akaba replied looking non-phased but intrigued.
"You can keep telling yourself that." Eddie said, inching backwards as she did.
"Take her down." Leo Akaba ordered.
"Come forth Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" Many voices spoke.
"Hehe, you should have paid more attention to who I was dueling!" Eddie said, running over to kneel by Johan's (breathing, good) body, holding out his arm. Just enough! Thanks, Adrian! "I SUMMON RAINBOW DARK DRAGON(4000/0)!"
"RARGHHH!" The monster roared as it appeared on the field.
"Your target's up there buddy!" Eddie pointed straight at Akaba before grabbing Adrian's arm, moving to take his duel disk off, shoving the excess decks in his pockets as the dragon began charging its breath weapon.
"Protect the professor!" Many shouted as the man himself fucking ran.

The dark rainbow beam was fired carving the place into pieces, resulting in the pad starting to fall.
"New plan Dark, save your summoner and his friend!" Eddie said just as she got the duel disk off and began rapidly clicking through for the Dimension Move App.
The dragon moved catching the two as Eddie pressed the button and woom.
She was pushed through a kaleidoscope of colors.
And then her vision returned and- her face collided with concrete.
The lost thing she thought before she lost consciousness was- 'Ow'.

"-do you think you are doing!?" Serena shouted and she realized that she was no longer standing where she used to be, instead she was in a warehouse… and several people were looking at her.
Three of them sharing her face.
"And there is another one." A dark haired boy said.
"You are Serena aren't you?" The her with pink hair asked.
"Yeah? Who are you and where am I?"
"You got sent here by Eddie, is she going to follow soon?"
"I… I don't know. We got surrounded and then she did some magic bullshit and now I am here." Serena said and she feared for the worst.

Leo Akaba's face was set in a grimace as he sat upon his throne staring down at the failures before him, Yuri most of all. To think he lost and with it his copy of the all powerful Super Polymerization. "It seems more serious measures are to be taken… call for Kagemaru, I have need of him and his Seven Star Assassins."

Eddie's eyes fluttered open, her body felt sore, her head was killing her…
"Ugh, did anyone get the number of that truck?" She groaned as she tried to sit up, blearily opening her eyes and looking around.
And she looked to be in some sort of workshop? Well Autoshop probably, that was a tire.
"Uh, hello?" She called out, blearily feeling at the… mattress? Her face felt horrible but she could at least see straight.
"Oh you're awake," She heard a voice say and from a doorway came someone who could only be one Yusei Fudo…
