AN: If you are not interested anymore then don't read it.

Yes, I have been working on this for about two years. Let's just say it has been a very difficult time. My ideas for this pretty much dried up after being laid off and then the death of Billy Miller. I will say that the only Drew I would accept would have been Billy Miller. I tried to watch Cameron Matheson as Drew, but it was like watching Ryan Lavery. They did not write him as Drew. So, I gave up watching it all together. I am glad I did after hearing what they did to Kelly Monico.

It is going to be this chapter and another chapter to wrap everything up. Parts of this chapter and next will be Sam recalling the events that led to the end of the Ring instead of lots of dialogue.

I guess we should see how Jack has fared being in a trunk for a year and a half.

Chapter 29

Cafeteria in Secret Medical Facility

"Lindze," Lucky said impatiently. "I have to go back today. They are probably suspicious as it is. You aren't listed as a patient at any of the open hospitals."

"Which is reason number one Chris (Curtis) should get the picture of the director," Lindze argued.

"They went to a lot of trouble to hide who this man really is," Lucky told her as he pulled her into a hug. "If I don't go back and just Chris goes, he will be in danger. They could kill him to avoid the possibility that he is a plant. Hannah and I disappeared on the same day. Suspicions are going to be running high as it is."

"I have to do this, and I will be safe with Chris with me." Lucky continued before Lindze could argue with him more. "I have too much to make up for to all my kids and to be here for this one." He placed his hand on Lindze's still-flat stomach.

Instead of arguing with him anymore like she wanted she pulled him to her and kissed him deeply. She pulled away from him and said sternly, "You have to come back to us, or I will kill you myself. I don't care how irrational that statement is. I am pregnant and hormonal."

"Chuck is going to provide Chris and I with listening devices as well as a pen camera to take Director Crowley's photo so they can determine who he is. The sooner we get this done the sooner I can come back and start treatments with Ellie."

An hour later Lindze watched Adam walk out of the medical facility. After this was over, she would have to get used to calling him Lucky. Getting used to thinking of him as Lucky was going to be the more difficult part.

LA Conference Room

Chuck, Frisco and Casey watched the monitors carefully as Lucky and Curtis walked through the building that housed the secret Marshall's headquarters.

"Hey, how is Lindze?" Someone outside the camera view asked.

"She is still feeling sick," Lucky answered as he looked toward the person asking. "She is staying with a friend, so she won't be by herself until she is feeling up to going back to work."

"Guys! We have a serious problem." Ellie gasped as she ran into the room.

"Son of a bitch!" yelled Casey at the same time. "Doesn't anyone stay in the deep dark holes we put them in anymore?"

Everyone had stopped monitoring the conversation going on between Lucky and the Director as Lucky gave him the cover story they had invented.

Frisco decided they needed to hear what Ellie was concerned about first. "Ellie, what is the problem but be quick."

"I took a closer look at Lucky's brain scans to make sure I didn't miss anything before I start him on his treatments, and I found a big problem." Ellie took a big breath. "He has a chip in his brain like Drew did. Curtis needs to know asap because they can probably use it to control him in some way."

"Do you know for a fact they could use it that way?" Frisco asked intently.

"No, I don't," Ellie answered with exasperation. "I haven't been able to track down the chip that was in Drew's brain to examine it for its true purpose. My best guess though is it has been used to torture him as a trigger for the brainwashing."

"What about A.J.," Frisco asked with concern.

"A.J. is fine;" Chuck said impatiently as his fingers danced across his keyboard. "We must get Lucky out of there before this director can use that chip to get Lucky to do what he wants. That man will have no mercy on Lucky or any of us if he has his way."

"I'm assuming you have an idea," Frisco said, deciding to let Chuck's tone go for the moment.

"I am hacking the hospital and making it look like Georgie has been admitted for tests to find out why she is sick," Chuck answered as he continued typing. "Call Lucky. Tell him to tell the director that Lindze is on her way to the hospital, and they need him there. Chris (Curtis) must take him because they drove in together.

"Sorry, Frisco," Chuck continued typing, looking at his screen. "Ellie, look closer at A.J.'s last scans to see if you find anything. Also, have the hospital in Switzerland send you his latest scans. I would hope they are not going to do more plastic surgery without medical tests."

Ellie rushed out of the room to do what Chuck asked.

"Everyone that is working for us needs to be pulled out of that building." Chuck kept typing. Everyone in the room did not understand what he was doing.

Before anyone else did anything, Frisco sat beside Chuck as he continued his hacking Frisco assumed. "You want to tell me why we need to pull all our surveillance personal out of the Marshall's building?"

"I just flashed," Chuck said almost hypnotically. "I knew he was evil because of our dealings with him before but I have pieced together what he has been up to since Faison broke him out."

"What did you see?" Frisco asked.

"Mostly stuff I already knew about from our last run-in with him." Chuck started explaining. "The new stuff is tied into your human trafficking case. He is not just enslaving women and children to be sex slaves. He is using them for cheap labor in the lithium mines in Africa and he is selling their organs to the highest bidder. He wants to create Hell on Earth. No one is safe around him, more importantly, Sarah and our family are not safe with him around either."

"Casey is probably the first name on his hit list." Chuck continued talking. "Casey was the one that captured him and put him in that dark hole in the ground."

"I am in the network in that building searching for everyone that can be connected to his network of agents." Chuck continued. "We have to get all of them, or this will continue after we take care of him again."

"It doesn't matter how many of these monsters we get off the streets," Frisco looked at Chuck sadly. "We cannot eradicate evil. I know. I have tried and I lost my family because of it, and they were hurt anyway."

"I know," Chuck muttered. "Ellie and I are living proof of that. Our parents left us to protect us, but the CIA got their hooks on me anyway no matter what Dad did to prevent it. I know we can only do the best we can, but it irks me that our best has not been enough."

"As soon as Lucky and Curtis are out of the building, we will raid it and clear it out." Frisco promised. "Our people on the inside will provide support when the time comes.

"Right now, I am going to check if Ellie will be ready to get that chip out of Lucky's head when Curtis gets him back here," Frisco said. "Hopefully when I get back, we can get an update on Jack."

"We will also have to set up communications so that if Tony and Alexandria call Crowley they think they are talking to him." Chuck told him. "I am going to have Jake repurpose one of his programs that will copy Crowley's voice. I think we can also set up communications with them through Crowley's phone and start off with text messages."

Frisco looked up at Casey, who had stayed silent and watched Chuck intently. Casey nodded in agreement then said to Frisco, "his flashes are notoriously accurate. Our families will never be safe from him. I know you get lost in your lady feelings Chuck, but they all need to be eliminated. No more dark holes for any of them except for hell."

Chuck continued his hacking but looked up at both men and nodded.

Outside Elizabeth's House

Elizabeth looked out her front window and saw the two men in a black Suburban. She presumed they were guarding the house. She assumed they were placed there after she had ignored Drew's phone calls the previous night. Just to be safe with the kids she decided to keep them home that day. Just because she was angry with Drew did not mean she should put them in any more danger than they already were. She did not know why they were in danger and right now she did not care. Right now, she hated Drew and Lucky because she knew they had both brought this to her family.

LA Family Room
Chuck just got off the phone with Robert with an update on Jack. He was leaving the raid planning with Frisco, Morgan, and Casey. He knew they could do all the planning without his help. Right now, he needed to be with his family.

"Jack is alright for now," Chuck told Sarah and Emma as he walked into the large room. He would make sure he talked to Rebecca before he went back to the conference room.

"Robert checked on him overnight," Chuck began to explain to Sarah and Emma. He took Sarah's hand and continued, "They left him in the trunk of their car during the night. Robert got him out and let him stretch his legs, got him something to eat. While Jack went to the bathroom, Robert but a bug inside the car so they can listen in on them the rest of their trip to Port Charles."

"Where is Jack now?" Emma asked.

"Emma, I'm sorry," Chuck took her hand after looking into her anxious face. "Robert thought it would be best for him to stay put. It will endanger everyone if they think we or anyone is on to them. We do not know if they are meeting any accomplices in Port Charles. They could alert them, and we would not know how to counter any attack they could be planning."

"Couldn't they make it look like Jack freed himself and escaped?" Sarah asked anxiously.

"Robert didn't seem to think so," Chuck answered her, then hugged her.

"Tell Robert he better keep Jack alive so I can kick Jack's ass," Emma said vehemently.

"I will hold him down while you do it." Sarah told her mother.

Chuck pulled both women to him and hugged them to him. "I will help." Chuck told them.

"I am going to spend a few minutes with Rebecca, then I must make sure Lucky and Curtis get back here without being followed. I will explain later but Ellie and Patrick are going to have to operate on Lucky before she can start his treatments."

Somewhere between Kansas and New York

Robert and Anna let Tony and Alexandra get a few miles ahead of them. Along with the bug inside the car, they also put one on Jack's suit. Luckily, they discuss their route to New York and where they are planning to stop for breaks and food.

It was not long before the two started brainstorming ways to make Alan and Monica pay before killing them. They discussed a neurotoxin they knew Shaw had used on Sarah when he had tried to kill her.

They began discussing torturing the kids while making Alan and Monica watch. Alexandria mentioned that Alan and Monica had stopped her from using Edward to fund her diamond scheme. Even after almost five decades, they wanted to cause them as much pain as possible.

They found a kindred spirit in Shaw because of his hatred for Sarah and Chuck. It did not matter that Shaw hated Sarah because of a lie.

They were still debating what to do with the con artist they had tied up in their trunk. They were still discussing ways to use him. Luckily for the con artist Jack Burton, they did not know his connection to Sarah and Robert.

Cafeteria in Secret Medical Facility

Everyone was picking at their food as they were waiting for another update about Jack and waiting for Lucky to get out of surgery.

If that was not enough, they were also waiting for the raid to be finished. They had captured Crowley, and he was in one of the holding cells Chuck and Sarah had set up at the new Carmicheal offices. Now they were just trying to sift through the staff and determine who was with Crowley and who was a legit employee of the US Marshall's.

They were having to hold Casey back from interrogating Crowley. They were currently using Crowley's phone for leads on his accomplices. It had taken longer to break the encryption because the phone had better encryption on it than the old Ring phones. Casey believed his interrogation techniques would work faster than getting into the phone, which Chuck found to be insulting. After all, he had gotten into Hannah's phone fairly quickly.

Everyone stood up as they watched Ellie come into the cafeteria. She went directly to Georgie.

"He is in recovery now." Everyone sighed in relief. "We should get him up as soon as he comes out of the anesthesia."

Then Ellie had a most un-Ellie-like moment when she contemplated putting the chip she got out of Lucky into Crowley. Then she could do experiments on him to see if the chip worked the way she thought it did.

Devon was shocked at first but when he thought about the harm Crowley and the Ring had caused their family he understood. At the moment, she could not do anything about Daniel Shaw making a deal for his freedom. It meant that Shaw would not go to jail for shooting her father and making it possible for the Ring to kidnap her father.

"Let's table the revenge talk for now," Chuck said to her in a frightened voice. He had always been afraid of his sister, but this is worse. He had never heard her talk like this. "Let's do what we can to help the victims. Matt Hunter and Steve Webber should be arriving later today to help with the patients."

Frisco had worked on some other jail releases when he got Brit out of jail.

"I am going to check on the progress of decrypting Crowley's phone." Chuck said wearily. "I should have something soon." He looked at Casey and Frisco, "Meet me in the conference room in about an hour. We can develop a plan for our next move. It helps that Alex and Tony don't seem to be in a hurry to get to Port Charles."

LA Conference Room

"I am going through Crowley's emails," Chuck said without looking up at Frisco and Casey as they came into the room.

"I should know better than to doubt you," Casey said with excitement. "What did you find?"

"I ran a search looking for any connection between Crowley and the Deckers." Chuck answered. "Crowley was working on setting up a meeting between them and Selina Wu. We need to find out who she is and why they would meet with her."

"She is the only mob boss other than Sonny that control part of the East Coast." Frisco answered. He pulled out his phone. "If Sonny wants to keep control of his docks he can help us."

For years the authorities had taken the 'devil you know', theory when dealing with Sonny. If Sonny wasn't in control of those docks, someone else worse could. Sonny didn't realize he had help from the authorities because of this.

"I don't know if you are rubbing off on me and Ellie," Chuck looked at Casey. "But I just had a similar idea on how to deal with Selina Wu and even Sonny if they will not cooperate with us."

Warehouse in Port Charles

As much as Sonny hated to admit it, this group that Drew worked with knew what they were doing. He looked around at the set up they made happen in just a few hours.

There was a large television on one wall and a table with file folders. Sonny knew what was in the file folders, but they wanted it to look like Sonny had also been contacted to help the Deckers with their insane revenge plot.

The plot to get Wu to cooperate was also insane. He wouldn't believe it if he hadn't seen how it made Drew believe he was Jason and then made AJ believe he was Jason.

Sonny was under no illusions that they would do to him what they were threatening to do to Wu if she didn't cooperate.

"Corinthios." Wu greeted Sonny as she walked confidently into the room. "What is this about?"

"Your guess is as good as mine." Sonny answered her, playing his part.

All of the sudden they heard bodies drop outside the door. Sonny rushed out to see all the bodyguards on the ground. Max and Milo were among them. That had not been part of the deal.

Wu rushed to her main guard and checked for a pulse and found the tranquilizer dart in his neck.

"I assume whoever set this up doesn't want to kill us or we would be dead right now as well as our guards." Wu surmised. Then she asked with apprehension. "How were they able to accomplish this without any help from one of us?"

"We have superior planning skills." A computer voice came from the television along with an outline of a face looking like Max Headroom. The mouth moved like the words were coming out of the mouth and the head bounced around the screen. "Now sit at the table and review the information in the folders."

"You were both contacted by a man named Crowley," the computer voice continued. "He wanted you two to help the Decker's eliminate prominent family members from Port Charles. We know you have a meeting set up with them, Wu. What have you been offered for the use of your resources?"

"They sent me photos of a very large diamond. They said they would give the diamond for payment. I was curious if it was real or not, so I agreed to a meeting. I didn't agree to help them." Wu explained with her usual confidence.

"Is this the picture you were shown?" The computer voice said as a picture of a large diamond was displayed on the large television screen.

"Yes, that is the one," Wu looked at the diamond with excitement.

"Don't get too excited." The computer voice went on. "If they have anything resembling this, it is a fake. We know where the real diamond is, and they do not have it."

Wu sank back down into her chair and went back to reading the thick file before her. She thought she was reading a Syfy novel, the story to crazy to believe.

"What is described in this file is impossible." Wu said with derision. She was considered to be a smarter woman than what these people believed of her.

"Are you forgetting about Drew believing he was Jason." Sonny reminded her. "We all believed it."

"Again, another unbelievable story," Wu argued. "Drew was probably part of an elaborate con job."

"I can assure you he is not," the computer voice said impatiently. "Drew was kidnapped along with Jason. They were both experimented on by the psycho Faison. Also, did you not see the news story about Alan Quartermaine? It is a true story."

"Let's get down to business of why we are having this meeting, and your guards are taking an unscheduled nap instead of being dead."

"The Decker's will be here in a couple of days, and you will take that meeting with them. During the meeting you will follow the script we will give you."

"Why would I do that?" Wu asked in anger.

"We could wipe your whole life out of existence and invent you a new one. Don't think we can't make it as uncomfortable as possible."

"Wait a minute," Sonny said indignantly. "Why am I here. I was never contacted by these Decker people."

"Your friend Brick was." The computer voice said firmly.

Sonny was surprised by this. He would discuss this deviation from the script when they were done.

"But I don't know anything about it." Sonny insisted.

"You will come along for the ride anyway," The computer voice insisted. "In case we need more of your goons to cooperate with us."

Men in black clothes and masks stormed the room with weapons at the ready. Wu and Sonny raised their hands and waited for further instructions.

"Glad to see some cooperation from you two," the computer voice said. "But be forewarned, if either of you try to escape, I have no problem with scrambling your brains like they did Jason and Drew. Also, keep in mind there are more slaves today than at any time in history," said the computer voice. "I see no reason why you two shouldn't join them, unless you both stay cooperative."

Warehouse Two Days Later

Sonny was surprised that the warehouse was equipped with furnished cells for Wu and him to be housed while the others got the script together and memorized. He had already called Brick about getting the neurotoxin to pretend to sell it to Alex and Tony.

Alex and Tony had contacted the Ring Director who they thought was the Ring Director. Drew's team made them think that the Ring Director was going to provide them with security.

Drew created a media blitz about Alan being alive and was on his way back to Port Charles. They were planning a big party for family and friends in the Metro Court ballroom. Of course, the only ones going into the ballroom were Alex and Tony.

The ballroom would be decorated, and soft music would be playing but no one would be there. Alex and Tony would be walking in with fake Ring agents. Cameras will be set up so everyone can watch them put the neurotoxin in the champagne bottles. Then before they could leave again, they would be tranqued by Drew when they realized no one else was coming. Drew didn't want Alan or Monica anywhere near the ballroom.

Alan and Monica were going to be able to watch the party while they were still safe in California. Alan would be able to come home a few days later and meet Oscar.

Outside Elizabeth's House a couple of days later

Georgie watched as Lucky made his way to Elizabeth's front door while she stayed by the car. They had decided he would go in first to let her know what happened. Then Lucky would text her when to come in. Even with all the coming back to life in Port Charles, this would still be a shock.

Lucky still had a couple of treatments left to do with Ellie but after the last one Lucky had received, he had to come to see Jake and Aiden. All the memories of them came rushing back. He even had very fond memories of taking care of Cameron as a baby.

Georgie was startled out of her thoughts as she saw Lucky fallback and almost fall off the porch. She had started running up to him when she heard an angry voice.

"Get the hell out of here! You are not going to come here and toy with my brothers' feelings again."

"Yours either, right, Cameron," Lucky said as he was rubbing his jaw.

"Oh, my God!" Georgie heard the gasp as she ran up to Lucky. Georgie looked up at the doorway and saw Elizabeth with her hand over her mouth as she stood frozen behind Cameron.

"Sorry, Elizabeth," Georgie began. "Lucky was going to tell you what had happened before you saw me to hopefully mitigate the shock but that is out the window."

Elizabeth moved Cameron out of the way as he was still just shooting daggers with his eyes at Lucky. Elizabeth finds herself speechless at first, then asks, "Is this what Drew has been calling me about?"

Before Lucky could answer she asked sharply with accusation, "Did Drew tell you about Jake? Is that why you decided to show up? Aiden by himself wasn't good enough for you?"

"Elizabeth," interrupted Georgie. "Can we go inside? Much more has happened and why it has taken so long for Ad…Lucky to come back."

Elizabeth looked at her questioningly before Lucky said, "The same people that kidnapped Jason, Drew and then A.J. also kidnapped me as well as many others from Port Charles. It is a revenge plot against the Quartermain's'."

"This is a long and sorted story," Georgie said. "Can we please go inside so we can explain everything? It could take a long time, and this isn't a story to tell while standing outside. Besides, I need to check Lucky's incision that is on the side of his head. Hopefully, that punch didn't start it bleeding again."

As soon as Elizabeth shut her front door, she noticed the bandage on the side of Lucky's head. It was bleeding a little, but it didn't look bad. She would check it and rebandage it while he told her what was going on.

"Why would those people involve you if they were after revenge against the Quartermain's'?" Elizabeth asked as she went into a cabinet to get the first aid kit.

"Remember that Faison was involved in this." Lucky reminded her. "That monster has been messing with my head since I was a teenager when he helped Helena kidnap and brainwash me the first time."

"Except this time, he put a chip in my brain like he did Drew." Lucky continued.

"Is this where the chip was taken out?" Elizabeth asked as she removed the bandage.

"Yes," Lucky answered then he looked at Cameron. "Ellie's going to be pissed if you messed up her work on my head. She's already unhappy with me that I insisted on coming here to see you guys instead of waiting to complete all my treatments."

"Well, I don't really care, whoever Ellie is," Cameron said angrily. "You ran out on Jake and Aiden.

After Cameron's rant Lucky looks at him directly, "I hope you never walk in and see the woman you have loved most of your life in bed with another man. It sucks the life right out of you. When I first left it was to get my bearings. I blamed myself for Shavon's death and I was no good for any of you boys. I had to get ahold of my emotions so I wouldn't find myself deep in another addiction. I didn't want to expose you or your brothers to that again."

AN: I wrote this last part before Joss broke up with Cameron to be with the other dude. Next chapter will fill in some holes I left in the plot and finish the story out. If there is something or someone I leave out, sorry. I wasn't following most of the storylines anyway, so they are not important to me or to the story I wanted to tell.
