Izuku walks into Nimbasa City with a pep in his step at finally being home and the next gym Battle. He heads straight to his house knowing that his Dad and Papa won't be home until an hour or so later. Walking down the familiar road Izuku starts humming a song. When he gets home he uses his key to get inside and locks the door behind him. "All aboard Joltik and Litwick," Izuku calls releasing the Pokémon so they can get comfortable in their new home.
"So welcome to your new home guys all I ask is don't destroy anything please," Izuku says while gently petting all the Joltik and picking up Litwick before setting him down on a table. For the next hour while waiting for his dads to get back he settles in and feeds all of his Pokémon.
Izuku is upstairs when he hears the door open, only for a second later to hear his Dad yell, "EMMET ARE YOU BREEDING JOLTIK AGAIN!!!" Izuku runs down the stairs to see his Papa shaking his head in negative, while Dad is pointing at one of the Joltik angrily who had made itself comfortable on his Dad's seat. "Sorry Dad, that would be my doing. They were scared and alone so I offered them to join our little family," Izuku says with Emmet smiling happily and gathering all the Joltik together.
"We are not keeping them Izuku, do you remember what a nightmare it was with all of Emmet's Joltik breeding that happened a year and half ago, plus all the zapping because I do," Dad says, voice raised, while looking at Izuku with arms crossed and eyes narrowing. Meanwhile Papa is cuddling the Joltik like they are newborns that need to be protected and loved.
Thinking back, Izuku remembers that afternoon when his Dad got home.
Izuku is helping Mr. Emmet with trying to get a shiny Joltik, by breeding his Galvantula even though there was no luck so far. "Are they all behaving?" Mr. Emmet asks and Izuku says, "Yeah they seem ready to run around and play though;" as the herd of at least thirty Joltik skitter around the room. "That's good because I need your help in here little passenger," Mr. Emmet calls from the other room. Izuku gets up and hurry's out the door not realizing it didn't shut all the way. After helping, Izuku heads back to babysit the Joltik while bringing a group of four more only to see the door open and the room empty. "Mr. Emmet you may want to get in here, because we have a problem," Izuku calls slightly panicked, Emmet runs in looking around and seeing all the Joltik missing, says, " We should be fine, it's not like Joltik are evil or anything."
A few hours later the front door opens with Ingo calling, "Emmet, Izuku I'm home." They walk down the stairs to greet him only to hear Ingo scream. Emmet and Izuku rush the rest of the way down only to see Ingo covered in Joltik, zapping him while scurrying all over. "Ok now they are a problem," Emmet says while smiling nervously.
"Yeah but it was only one time," Izuku tries while waving it off. "No it took us three weeks to find them all and I get zapped into unconsciousness almost every single day until we had caught them all," Dad replies while giving a hard stare right at Izuku and Papa who freeze under the look.
" I promi-se they will be no trouble and there is a Litwick who's frie-nds with them that can help keep them from zapping you. They really needed… a home because of a situation that happened they were to…. afraid to go outside, so they are more pets than battle partners. Plus they can guard the house while you're at work," Izuku responds, stammering out quickly while pointing to Litwick who waves at Ingo. "Still no, because who do you think is going to be taking care of them while you are on your journey to get into the Unova league?" Dad replies sternly.
"I can take care of them brother, and with there being only five we can keep better track of them, plus it would be verrry rude to turn them away now," Papa says. Dad tilts his head at this seeing he's about to give Izuku turn on the Growithe eyes and waterworks while saying very sadly, Pleeeeease." Dad stares at Izuku for a moment trying to remain strong before sighing, "Alright they can stay but if I get zapped into unconsciousness again they are out." Papa and Izuku nod quickly before they both start cooing over the Joltik.
Ingo sits down in his chair beside the table Litwick is standing on. "I can't believe I fell for this," Ingo says, but looking at Emmet and their little passenger so happy can't help but for his eyes to light up happily. "Lit Litwick wick," Litwick says while jumping into Ingo's lap, Ingo just gently starts petting the Litwick gently before saying, " I guess this is just part of the tracks of life and reaching further down the tracks things change, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Welcome to your new home, little ones." The rest of the evening Ingo, Emmet, and Izuku get all the Pokémon settled while creating a list of things to get for their new family members.
