Chapter 858: More with January School stuff again.

(January 27. Royal Woods Middle School. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Michelle's car shows up and she drops off her son, Lincoln. "Remember kiddo, I'll be back later to pick you up." Lincoln nods, and he goes over and gives her a hug, to which she hugs him back and then they depart and Lincoln heads to the school while Michelle drives off to work.

Lincoln is about to go inside, but then he stops and feels that something is wrong, he then closes his eyes and then he turns around and grabs whoever was about to tackle him, and it's his girlfriend Jordan Rosato. "Got you this time, and so close too."

Jordan chuckles. "Dang, I don't know if this was from self-defense training, or if this is all from just being that damn good with dodge ball." They both chuckle and share a small kiss and they go into the school, they do greet Meryl who walks by with some donuts.

As they go down the hallway, Jordan then speaks. "So, before Valentine's Day, Luna is gonna be doing a gig with her band, right?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, they are, and I'm gonna be there to watch it, and of course our mom's too. You can come along and watch."

Jordan smiles, and she wants to see that. Just then he sees Clyde and Zach go towards him, and then Zach nudges Clyde to ask. "Lincoln, Zach and I have been wondering about something."

Lincoln and Jordan are both confused, and then Trent, Artie and Lance go over to hear this. "About what?" Then Stella, Leslie, Carmelina, Jo and Chloe.

Clyde then speaks. "So, Zach and I have been noticing how everyone is playing video games, those advanced online connected ones that are meant for team playing, and team coordination. So, we were wondering later after school, if you guys can teach us how to play…"

Zach then hands him the note and he reads it. "Either League of Legends or Company of Heroes."

This surprises them, and then Hassan speaks. "Guys, League of Legends is a five vs five game, and that would mean if we have to teach you guys then you need to be with a team and coordinate and figure it out through chat or emotes."

Then Jo continues. "Company of Heroes is a four vs four game, and like League of Legends there has to be communication between each other in order to fight through and win." They then continue to give some pointers and advice to Clyde and Zach, and this seems so much. But they do notice Zach is taking notes. Why?!

Then Lincoln speaks. "We can do this, after school. There is a local computer shop we go to sometimes for gaming." He then realizes, he has to text his mother Michelle that he won't be headed home later after school and will be with his friends for a while.

(Royal Woods High School.)

Luna and Sam are both walking through the hallway, and Luna explains something that happened the other day.

"So, Lori called me and she was wondering if she could partake in the whole self-defense training thing, and if it is about firearms and shooting. She explained why she would wanna be part of it, it's because she wants to be prepared and also… Own a gun, because she believes she's old enough to carry a licensed firearm."

This shocks Sam. "Holy Smokes on the Water and Fire in the sky. What?" Then she asks. "Well, does Michelle and Amanda know?"

Luna sighs and she explains. "They do, and they need to speak with Rita and Lynnard about this. Still, what Lori seeks is kinda risky, and a little dangerous, and she can pretty much handle a situation on her own. But, perhaps she should go for it, I mean… I honestly don't know, and at a crossroads with this idea. I mean, I feel like I should have one too."

Sam also speaks. "Not me, I think a taser is good enough for me." They then see Sully and Mazzy show up, but they notice someone is not with them and then she asks. "Guys, where the heck is Nina?"

Mazzy explains. "She called in sick today, and she might not be around for a couple of days. Didn't think that would happen to her, but from what we heard, she was at the lake and tuning some nice music, then a bird Pokémon accidentally flew by and she tripped and landed into the cold water of the lake."

Luna and Sam cringe hearing that, and now they feel bad for Nina. Sully then continues. "But she doesn't want us to just do nothing, we have to continue with rehearsals and prepare for the next gig. Nina also said she might come back, because she's only gone for a few days and that won't be a problem."

They all agree, and head for the music club room, and also talk about the aftermath from what had happened with Scoots, and that means everyone, even the sports teams in the High School will not get annoyed by her, because she also attends the High School sport events.

A/N: Just some school stuff going on, and I had to extend it, and chances Lori might become part of the next self-defense training classes. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter guys.
