A twelve-year-old girl strolled back home. The sun shone on her face though not blinding her and she felt the wind past through her hair like sike she slid it out of her eyes for a tad. She wore a smile but shifted to a frown at thought of going back to her home life, boring. The only things to do is study up on animals and do homework. It was like this every day, every night, to the pointed the repetitiveness of the average day schedule become torture, longing for something-anything to break the chains of this curse.

"Well, isn't Megan Clerk."

Said girl's blue eyes widen at that familiar voice. Looking to her side with a glare. Sure, enough she saw the queen of popularity herself Tammi standing a bit away, staring her with a cocky 'I think, I 'am better than you' grin.

"It must suck having no friends or family to see that terrible computer repairing skills, better get a real technician to do the work?"

"For your information I was using the manual. The dust gotten in my eyes."

"Aw, Megan when will you learn that nature and technology doesn't work together?"

"It can so work, like helping famers and providing shelter for wild animals."

"Whatever unlucky Megan." Tammi uttered as she started to walk away. "Don't come near me with your bad luck."

The twelve-year-old glared harder the cocky girl.

If there one such advantage about being an only child is that she didn't have to deal with people like Tammi. She huffed and kept walking.

When she gotten home, it was empty as usual. Her parents wouldn't be home for another hour. She headed up to her room and plopped her purple and pink backpack on her bed. Sighing, she then placed herself the bed next to the baggage.

Her eyes felt heavy. it has been a long week of her trying new thing and failing. Maybe some sleep would do her good?

She soon found herself in a grassy field with bunch of familiar wolves, happy, and living like nothing changed. However, she turned. seeing a portal that was made out of light and somehow sensing it was drawing to the light. Following that feeling, she walked over and went through it. The twelve-Year-old had now noticed she saw in her room.
