It's impossible to be mad at her when she looks at him like that; impossible to be mad at all, truth be told, or sad or moody or anything that Bucky used to feel so often.
She has made such a difference to his life, and so easily, giving love and affection that has been absent too long from his life, not to mention affirmation that he is worthy of the same.
"If you love me," he tells the cat, stroking her pure white fur as she curls up in his lap, "I guess I can't be all bad."
