Spacecore94: That would be funny to write, but…
Neon Starch: Yeah, I will try to establish Naruto's penchant for 'going on walks'.
Rio Skyron: Charlie is a sister figure. Kaguya was Naruto's mother figure for a few years, so Naruto doesn't need another.
Fenris Silverblood: I thought it sounded cool, Dog/Hound of Hades. We shall see Naruto's TDF through the series, but with the Control Art Restriction System, he can only transform so much at once. OH, you think Dr. Gerbil is stupid? … well, yes, he is, for the reasons you stated, but he is smart.
ShadowBloodedge9396: Glad I am able to keep Gerbil's creepiness. I think I give a better reason/showing of why Lilith is the way she is in this chapter. I feel like 'controlling' is a bad take with her. Especially since we don't know her character. Yeah, Mirko and Kaguya have a much better relationship than Tamamo and Kurama from Crying for the Moon.
Jebest4781: I hope you like it.
Freedomringer: That would be funny, Naruto waking up as Naruko. OOOOOh, now that is an interesting take on King Ramses/Zabuza.
Gamelover41592: Yeah, relaxation is a pipe dream when you are in hell.
EnkiduKingu: Both are good guesses.
Bednarczykmiki: I know, and I am excited to see what happens next.
Kigen No KitsuneOokami: Gerbil is dead, Walter will make sure of it.
Spark681: Don't worry, he will.
MichaelTheFox: OOOOOH, YOU WANNA KNOW?
Kreiger Techpreist: That he did.
MEATBICYCLE: Yeah, it's basically Arlong's fault, but he doesn't see it that way. Yep, Lucifer likes Naruto and gave him his first title, the Dog of Hades. Abridged Alucard would be very proud. LOL, love Emperor's New Groove.
Exia Zero: I might have more Courage villains appear, since many of them DO/CAN work in Hazbin.
DaftMerc39: Yes, Kaguya found baby Naruto in Wrath, and since she was expecting a child herself (Mirko and Naruto are a few weeks apart) took him in, raising him for a few years before putting him to work in the Rabbit Foot Combat Arena. Mirko could have worked, but I wanted Charlie and Naruto to bond on an emotional level, as they are going to be working together for the foreseeable future. The game was rigged, and so Naruto smashed it to get Mirko her gift, and of course Mirko would love it. Did you like Son Goku, Kokuo, and Saiken?
22jawrd: Okay.
Rodolfo el Renosaurio: Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Ernestogierbolini07: Thank you.
TRK: Glad I am able to keep you interested. I haven't decided on Walter's backstory, since he isn't a sinner, so he would have no connections to the Hellsing Organization.
OKAY, LETS READ THIS SHIT! I DON'T OWN NARUTO OR HAZBIN HOTEL!

Chapter 8: Doctor's Note
Naruto turned to look at Dr. Gerbil… only to see the demon wearing a gas mask as he held a spray can.
He pressed the nozzle, spraying a green gas into Naruto's face.
"WHAT THE… THE…the… th…" Naruto felt an intense drowsiness hit him before he collapsed.
"Knock out Gas made by YOURS truly~" Dr. Gerbil cackled as he tossed off his gas mask, both the spray can and the mask landing in his suit case.
"All according to plan." He said with a smile, walking up to the unconscious teen, reaching into his jacket, pulling out a vial of pink liquid.
He poured it into Naruto's mouth, and cackled as he tossed the vial, missing his suit case.
His cackles echoed as the potions affects began.
Skip, Noon…
"Naruto~" Mirko called out as she entered Walter's house, the vampire following her with bags in his arms. "We're here!"
"…"
"…"
"Strange…" Walter said as he quirked an eyebrow. "Usually he responds instantly."
"Maybe he's taking a nap?" Mirko said as she jumped, literally, jumped up the stairs, making her way to Naruto's room.
She opened it… only to be greeted with nothing.
Mirko's face became sad, her shoulders slumping.
Meanwhile, Walter walked outside, along the side of his house.
Something caught his attention.
'He left the laundry out…' Walter thought as he saw the broken laundry drying set up. 'And all over the ground.'
However, his irritation was short lived as he took notice of another thing as Mirko walked up behind him.
"I can't find him in the house… Walter?"
Walter squatted next to a separate pile of clothing.
Except, it wasn't a pile.
'It looks like Naruto just… phased through his clothing.' Walter thought, recognizing that the clothing belonged to Naruto, having seen him wearing it before he left.
But it was strange.
His tie was still secured around the 'neck' of the collared shirt. The vest was still buttoned. The pants were zipped and buttoned.
"Wait, what's this?"
Walter turned to Mirko, who picked up a vial.
"Something was in this…" Mirko sniffed it, her face becoming disgusted. "Smells gross."
"Wait, give me that for a second." Walter asked, holding his hand out.
Mirko handed it over.
"What are you going to do?"
Walter put the vial on the ground.
He took off his monocle and kicked off his shoes.
Taking a deep breath, he focused his magic.
Mirko watched in surprise, shock, and disgust when bone popping sounds entered the air as Walter transformed into a wolf, while still wearing his clothing.
"What?" Walter asked as he looked at her. "Haven't you ever read Dracula by Bram Stoker?"
"N-no…"
"Well, I suggest you catch up on your reading." Walter said as he returned his attention to the vial.
Mirko watched as he sniffed it for several minutes.
"Hmmm…"
"What?"
Walter closed his eyes in thought.
"This vial smells like…" His eyes snapped open. "A gerbil."
Mirko's eyes widened.
"IT WAS THAT FUCKING GERBIL!" She screamed, anger overwhelming every other emotion she had.
"With this…" Walter said as he pawed at the vial. "We can track him down…"
Meanwhile…
"Wakey Wakey~"
Naruto's eyes twitched before they opened.
"Wha…"
"Ah, good to see you awake."
Naruto snapped to alertness, standing up… only to realize that he was looking at a VERY GIANT Dr. Gerbil.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Naruto yelled before he was picked up by Gerbil.
"Don't struggle, my friend." Dr. Gerbil said as the tiny fox tried to break his grip.
With some effort, Dr. Gerbil slipped a collar onto Naruto's neck before releasing him into a small cage that was meant for mice.
"THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO ME YOU FUCK!" Naruto yelled, grabbing the cage, ignoring the fact that he was naked, except the collar Gerbil had just put on him.
"After I knocked you out, I fed you a shrinking draught, another potion made by yours truly." Dr. Gerbil said as if he was in an infomercial. "I needed to transport you somehow, and dragging you was not in the cards."
Naruto growled.
But, he took a deep breath.
"Why did you do this?"
"Oh, you want to know why?" Dr. Gerbil asked with very creepy enthusiasm.
He picked up the cage Naruto was in, walking out of what Naruto just realized was a lab, down a hallway.
Several minutes passed before Dr. Gerbil entered an elevator.
"I was once like you." Dr. Gerbil said as the elevator took him and Naruto down. "A slave to the noble class."
"I am NOT a slave!"
Dr. Gerbil sighed, his face showing sadness.
"Oh, dear. It seems our dear Princess has been making promises or telling lies." Dr. Gerbil said in a sad tone, shaking his head. "But don't worry, Dr. Gerbil will reveal the truth."
He closed his eyes.
"I was a young man once, bout your age I reckon before I was sold into slavery under the Goetia." Gerbil monologued. "I worked hard, yet no matter how good of a job I did…"
A darkness filled his eyes.
"My master was never happy." He continued in a gravely voice. "However, one day, I was able to escape. My heart and body scarred with vengeance. But as you see…" Gerbil flexed his tiny arm. "I am not strong, but with my smarts…"
The elevator door *Pinged* before the door opened.
Gerbil walked out, holding the cage outward for Naruto to see.
What he saw made him sick.
Hundreds of demons, wearing collars similar to Naruto's, were naked, and many of them had cybernetic enhancements.
"With my smarts I became a scientist, and…" he chuckled. "I 'acquired' the help of these lovely people."
"You… you lobotomized them."
"Indeed. Their free will would have just gotten in the way of my plans." Dr. Gerbil said, the very tiny demon walking past demons that surpassed him in height several times over… yet they timidly cowered in fear.
Men and women alike.
They showed the fear of a god in the tiny Gerbil as he walked past, smiling.
"My loyal minions serve me… because if they don't…" Dr. Gebril held out his hand, which flooded with magic before his thumb 'Pressed' down on nothing.
Naruto watched as the demons began to howl in agony and pain as electricity shocked through their systems.
"…"
"So, you see…" Gerbil continued as he stopped the shock therapy, returning to the elevator. "With this Muscle and my Brains, I can get me vengeance on my former Master. You…"
He hit the button in the elevator to go back up to his lab before he raised the cage to look Naruto in the eye.
His eyes held a fanatic level of enthusiasm and joy.
"You… my dear, boy. Have unusual power. Maybe… you might be the last of the puzzle pieces I need."
Naruto's fur bristled, putting his hands together.
"I am releasing control, Level's four…"
"Nuh-uh-uh…" Gerbil interrupted, pressing his thumb again.
This time, however, electricity shot into Naruto's body.
His screams of anguish didn't stop until Gerbil released it after the elevator reached his lab.
"I can't have you doing that. Yes, I know about your little seals." Gerbil said as he walked out of elevator, Naruto's fur burned and his flesh sizzling.
He was barely conscious.
"I planted some cameras around your home, so I know you are a lot stronger than you Look." Gerbil admitted as he put the cage down. "I'll let you recover, for now, anyway. I'll be back in a few minutes. Ta-ta~"
Naruto mentally cursed the demon as he left, flipping himself onto his back, arm covering his eyes.
Everything hurt.
It hurt to move.
It hurt to think.
The only thing that gave Naruto relief was the fact he passed out shortly after.
Meanwhile, Lucifer's Mansion…
"Charlie…"
"Mom."
"Can we talk?"
Charlie felt small amount of dread begin to brew in her stomach as she looked at her mother.
The two of them were near the staircase that led upstairs.
"Uh, sure." Charlie replied, her arms crossing in front of her defensively.
Lilith could see this clearly.
"Charlie, I want to… I want to clear the air between us." Lilith explained, wanting to show she wanted to simply talk.
"What is there to clear?" Charlie asked, tilting her head.
"About Naruto."
Charlie mentally deadpanned.
'So, that's what this is about.' She mentally sighed, trying not to show her thoughts on her face.
"Okay, what about Naruto should we be talking about?"
Lilith took a deep breath.
"I know I showed a lot of… immediate and intense distrust in him when you brought him here nine months ago, and I want you to know it isn't out of hatred."
"Then what was it about!"
Lilith took a step back, lightly biting her own tongue as her maternal instinct to verbally retaliate negatively rose.
"… I don't believe you should put your trust in people so easily."
"So, you don't trust me?" Charle asked with an eyeroll and a hint of sarcasm.
"What? No, dear, I do trust you!" Lilith responded in surprise.
"Well, if you trust me then why do you doubt Naruto's capabilities?" Charlie asked, her arms swinging outward.
"He isn't someone you should trust easily." Lilith defended.
"So, you admit you don't trust me?"
"That isn't the point, Charlie, let alone a childish retaliation."
Charlie held up her hand, thumb on her middle finger.
"'I'm Lilith Morningstar…'" Charlie said, doing an impression on Lilith as she moved her hand up and down as she spoke, imitating a mouth moving. "'I am on a high horse so high that I can see all of Hell.'"
Lilith's brow furled into an irritated frown.
"Charlie!" Lilith raised her voice, grabbing her child's hand, the mother and daughter looking in each other's hand. "Focus!"
"Oh, I thought I was?" Charlie responded with sass in that ass. "Because all I know for sure is that you don't trust that I can handle this situation on my own. Failure is a part of life, mom. How am I supposed to grow and mature if you won't let me fall?"
"BECAUSE WHEN I FELL I LITERALLY WAS SENT TO HELL!" Lilith screamed in her daughter's face. "I EASILY TRUSTED YOUR FATHER AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!"
It was Charlie's turn to take a step back as Lilith panted.
"We gave Eve the apple because I trusted Luci to easily." Lilith said through her panting. "I trusted to easily, and I was punished by God. Yes, I was able to flourish here. But my trust had been violated, and it took many years before I could trust Luci."
Lilith gently placed her hands on Charlie's face, her face visibly softening.
"I… I just… I don't want you to make a mistake that could cost you so much…" Lilith concluded; her voice so gentle it could have been a whisper.
"I understand, Mom." Charlie said as she put her hands on her mother's hands. "But…"
Lilith's heart sank as Charlie removed her hands from her face.
"I am not a child. I'm an adult. I don't need you to worry so much." Charlie very calmly told her mom, leaving her sarcastic anger behind.
Lilith's chest tightened as Charlie walked upstairs, their conversation over.
Anxiety slowly crept into Lilith.
Paranoia, you could say.
Concern, too.
Or just over protectiveness.
No matter what word we choose, Lilith was overwhelmed.
Skip, One Hour…
"We're here." Walter said, returning to his normal vampiric form as he and Mirko arrived at their destination.
"… It's a fucking theme park…" Mirko bluntly stated in confusion.
"Hmm…" Walter sounded as he pushed his monocle into place.
The two were outside a dilapidated theme park.
"Come on, let's go." Mirko stated, heading forward before Walter stopped her. "WHAT!"
"Be calm. Rushing in could get you killed." Walter warned as he took lead. "You will follow my lead, or…"
Mirko scoffed.
"Fine."
Walter understood her reasons for being in a rush, but they couldn't be careless.
Mirko was too eager to jump in, and that could probably kill her.
Something Walter would not allow.
The duo made their way through the park gates.
"… kinda creepy." Mirko muttered, looking around, seeing how damaged the attractions were.
Smells of rotten food and dead rodents wafted through the air.
"Stay on guard." Walter warned, lighting a cigarette.
He was not nervous nor was he anxious.
He was calm.
"Yeah, yeah…" Mirko said as they continued walking through the park, not seeing the camera's moving in tandem with them.
Meanwhile…
Dr. Gerbil hummed 'Tiptoe through the Tulips' as he hooked Naruto up to a miniature table, his arms and legs restrained.
Naruto, who was in a state of half-conscious, couldn't stop the demented demon from putting him on the table, however, his anxiety spiked when Gerbil pulled out small eye-opening clamps.
"Don't worry, this is just to keep your eyes open. Its called the Ludovico treatment." Dr. Gerbil said as he reached down to put them in Naruto's eyes. "Can't have you looking away from the video I'm going to…"
Dr. Gerbil was interrupted when an alarm went off.
Putting the eye clamps down, Dr. Gerbil walked over to a computer.
He typed some things in, clicking a few things there, and brought up the camera feed.
"Hmmm…" He hummed when he saw Walter and Mirko walking through the amusement park above. "Wait a minute…"
He looked closer.
'That's the guy who trained my newest test subject. And she is…'
A lightbulb appeared above Gerbil's head as a smile graced his lips.
"I could add them too~" He said, snapping his fingers, excitement running through his veins.
He turned to Naruto, who was slumped over.
"I'll be back." Dr. Gerbil chuckled as he headed to the elevator, using it to go back down.
The elevator door opened, Gerbil having his hand ready as he stepped out amongst his… minions.
"Now, now, don't worry… Little old Gerbil has a job for you." He told all of the minions.
Three Minutes Later…
Walter and Mirko jumped, their backs touching as they prepared to fight when the amusement parks lights suddenly turned on.
Rides began to move again.
Game attractions began to draw their attention.
And…
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
Mirko's ears twitched.
"Fuck…" She said in annoyance as the music and repetitive lyrics continued.
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
Walter lowered his arms, only to raise them up again and defend himself and Mirko when a giant gorilla demon appeared, their arm raised to hit him.
"Mirko!" Walter yelled when he saw the Rabbit jump over him. "Don't…"
Walter's worry was replaced by surprise when Mirko's foot caved the Gorillas head in.
"We don't have time for this!" Mirko yelled as she saw several more demons charging at them.
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
Wires sliced through flesh.
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
Legs shattered bone and broke skulls.
"It's never ending!" Mirko shouted as she and Walter defended each other's weak spots.
"Just tough it out." Walter said as he grabbed one of the minion demons' arms, spinning them around as the wire wrapped around them, and with a flick of his wrist, peeled their skin like a banana.
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
A tic mark appeared on Mirko's forehead when she was swarmed, her limbs being grabbed and restrained.
"ENOUGH!"
Walter was once again surprised when magic swirled around Mirko.
Crackling sounds of electricity rippled off of her as the demons holding her got burned.
"Woah…" Walter mumbled, dropping his cigarette.
Mirko's body was coated in lightning magic.
She stood beside him… and then instantly vanished, a trail of blood and bodies in her wake.
"I'M GOING TO FIND NARUTO, YOU TAKE CARE OF THE REST!" Mirko shouted.
"Mirko, Mirko, WAIT!" Walter ordered, unable to go after the rabbit as he was still surrounded by the enemy. "Hmph, kids these days."
Meanwhile…
Mirko, having ended her technique ran down the corridor that the demons had come from.
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
"SHUT UP!" Mirko screamed, jumping up and kicking a speaker.
"My, my…" the speakers suddenly stopped playing the music to be replaced with the Cajun accent of Dr. Gerbil. "You sure are a feisty one. I can see where my current test subject gets it from."
"WHERE ARE YOU, COWARD! WHERE IS NARUTO!" Mirko demanded, turning every way she could to yell.
"Tsk, tsk, trade secret my dear. I am currently busy with my test subject, so please continue to play with my… minions." Dr. Gerbil said before cutting the audio as the song returned.
"~It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World
It's Doc Gerbil's World,
It's Doc Gerbil's World~"
Mirko let out an enraged roar that echoed through out the cavern.
She felt like she was going mad.
And like a Mad Lad, Mirko took off, running down the corridor.
'Hang on, Naruto, I'll save you!' Mirko thought as she began to worry that she might be too late.
Meanwhile…
Naruto was jostled awake by Gerbil.
"Time for your lessons, my test subject." Gerbil told Naruto as he slipped a device on his head, which forced his eyes open. "Now, listen closely, for class is in session."
Chapter 8, DONE!
Can anyone guess the Goetia Gerbil was in service to?
The Ludovico treatment Dr. Gerbil was going to put Naruto through was inspired by A Clockwork Orange, where Alex is strapped down, has his eyes forced open, and is forced to watch gratuitous violence on video.
Yes, the song takes up a lot of the chapter. It's supposed to be annoying.
Mirko's technique is the Raikage technique from Naruto Shippuden. I decided to 'spice' her combat up with some magic, and thought that since she is a rabbit, speed is the name of the game, and who is the fastest in Naruto? The Raikage. Currently, it isn't perfect, which is why she had to turn it off after revealing it, but over time, she will master it.
Lilith and Charlie's argument/talk was something I wanted to do to show/explain why Lilith has been the way she has been towards Naruto. It's a trust issue. I had this thought at work, and it fits. Lilith trusted Lucifer, and that trust cost her paradise. So, it made sense that Lilith would have issues trusting new people, especially when the new person is supposed to guard/protect her daughter, whom she loves very much. This is the best I could come up with because canon wise, we don't know how she and Charlie interact. The only thing we know is that Lilith most likely rose Charlie, being the dominant parent figure, while Lucifer was doing his own thing, which explains Charlie's statement of them not being close.
If you enjoyed the chapter, leave a review, even if you hated it because it helps me become a better author.
