The darkened sky above the USJ froze the fighting in the plaza as it commanded everyone's attention; the insidious buzzing sound that it carried sent fear racing through some of the lesser villains, and those who were not afraid felt the mental scream to flee.
"HALT VILLAINS!" A hollow voice boomed from somewhere within the swarm. "RESISTANCE IS FUTILE, SURRENDER NOW! EXTREME FORCE HAS BEEN AUTHORIZED!"
A villain with sandy brown hair and a panicked stricken face trembled, then with a guttural scream of fear, he raised his hand to the sky and fired off a blast of energy towards the swirling mass above him. The black and white tipped energy tore loose, and the swarm parted, letting it pass harmlessly.
"YOU ANSWER HAS BEEN REGISTERED AND RECEIVED." The swarm responded. Then suddenly, it descended upon the villains, their screams of terror and pain intermixed in the mechanical buzz with terrifying effect. Aizawa was in a momentary state of shock as the swarm descended, and the chaos of the situation was ratcheted to eleven. He saw the Monster go to move only to swarm the creature; now screams escaped the monster's beak, but Aizawa saw the swarm functioning as one as it yanked the creature's arms back and attempted to secure it only for the thing to tare free and grabbed at its' attackers.
"This was not part of the report!" Shigaraki yelled as the swarm came at him and Kurogiri. A portal opened, diverting the first attack, but quickly, the swarm diverted around the portal to reach its target. A second portal was utterly ineffective. Shigaraki got his hand up, activating his quirk. He was able to destroy the swarm that contacted him with his hands, but like the portal, they began to divert and tear into him, driving him back. "THIS IS BULLSHIT! I WANT WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!" Shigaraki yelled as he batted desperately at the swarm. Kurogiri grabbed him and leaped through a portal to get them out of being surrounded; the portal user's wounds, though hidden by his mist, were amassing at an alarming rate. They tumbled free at the outer edge of the plaza; their army engulfed, screams filling the USJ. The tide of the battle was slipping through his fingers.
"Kurogiri, get these pests out of here!" Shigaraki sneered.
"Yes, master!" Kurogiri rushed towards the swarm, ready to fulfill his master's orders.
Aizawa saw the beast turn and leap into the swarm; he noticed that wounds on the creature were closing nearly as fast as they were being made. The swarm obscured where the monster was; he saw it turn to him and readied himself to run. "Shota Aizawa, the Royal Guard is en route; we will secure the plaza. Those on the platform above you are in danger, as are the others scattered throughout the USJ. The creators have prioritized your safety and those of the other students."
"Who are you?" Aizawa said.
"My creators named me Hephaestus. Now go, Mei Hatsume is in danger!" the swarm said. Aizawa nodded and raced up the stairs to where his students were engaged in battle.
Front Doors
Tenya slipped past the claw strike from the Green Fin, planted his foot, and spun to land a rocketed boosted kick to the villain's exposed ribs when he felt a force grab him and yank him off balance, sending him tumbling towards the Grey Woman.
The Man-Spider leaped into the air and came crashing down with its talons onto Tenya; Mei came from behind the control booth with a strange futuristic-looking gun with a wide barrel that glowed a peculiar pink color in a spiral pattern. She pulled the trigger, and the device jerked harshly in her hand, but seven pink rings erupted from the barrel and collided with the Man-Spider, sending him flying away from Tenya and crashing hard into a wall.
Mina dived and tackled the terse man; as she raised to try and land a punch, the bald man placed his fingertips to his head, and a blinding lite erupted, causing Mina to scream and fall back, holding her face. The Terse man scrambled to his feet, about to pounce when Ochaco collided with a double leg drop kick to the man's back, sending him sprawling away. Ochaco was on one knee when, like Tenya, she felt a sudden pull and was yanked towards the Grey Woman. Ochaco negated her gravity and was pulled like a missile into the woman, sending them both down, but when Ochaco collided with Grey, she screamed in pain. Ochaco pushed off the ground, negating her quirk so she could come down with a thunderous forearm on the woman, bouncing her head off the ground.
Tenya got his guard up as the Fin swiped at him again with his claws, shredding the armor on his costume. Tenya's armor was fragile and more designed for aerodynamics than protection. Another strike was coming, and Tenya stepped in and blocked the attack with his forearms against Fin's arm. Stopping the blow, Tenya pivoted and landed a hard elbow on the villain's stomach, hoping to drive the wind from his attacker. When the blow landed, he was not greeted with the sound of the attack landing true and doing the damage. He hopped to hear a low grunt but felt the resistance when his attack impacted. Fin grabbed Tenya by the back of his head with his other hand, the claws raking across the skin and drawing blood before the villain drove his knee hard into Tenya's stomach and tossed him away.
Mei let the weapon swing to her back as it needed to recharge, ran, and leaped Fin's back. She did her best to hold in her scream of pain as the villain clawed at her to get free. She fumbled in the pouch at her side, grabbing some glass orbs filled with purple substance. Mei slammed them onto the villain's head, and they shattered. The substance burst forth in a gas form as Mei fell off and scrambled back, trying to hold her breath.
Mina ate a few kicks to her stomach as the Bald man laid his strikes into her, driving the wind from her body. Mina, still unable to see, did her best to protect herself, but her attacker was relentless and cackling madly above her. When the next kick landed in her stomach, Mina pushed through the pain, grabbed the man's leg, and released her acid as quickly as she could; his screams as the acid tore through his pants and into his flesh were her reward. This villain would not give up so easily; he fell to the ground, landing a blow to Mina's head, bouncing it off the ground, and dazing her. He grabbed her roughly by her horns and started to slam her head into the ground.
Ochaco, though not trained, was ferocious in her attack on Grey Woman. The villain was doing her best to cover up and protect herself from the young hero in training onslaught. Ochaco had mounted the villain and was swinging down with left and right. A blow slipped past Grey's guard; Ochaco tried to land another hit when suddenly a black talon came piercing through her shoulder and threw her off violently, tearing the wound open.
Tenya heard the scream and raced to help his fallen comrade, spun past an attack from the spider, dodged another, and landed a sliding kick to one of the two legs on the ground, sending it toppling over. Tenya pushed off the ground with one arm twisted, bringing a hard kick down the villain's abdomen. The Man-Spider was scrambling to get up. One of its legs came lashing out to stab Tenya, but it missed; with a devastating ax kick, Tenya's leg crashed right onto the joint of the leg, and a sickening crack and scream echoed in the area. Tenya didn't have a chance to dodge the villain, lashing out again and taking a talon through the thigh. Tenya let his cry of pain fuel him as he brought his armored elbow down, but he missed the joint this time. Tenya fell back, the Man-Spider's human half above him, and landed a solid right to Tenya's jaw, snapping his head to his side. Tenya blocked the follow-up. Like a horror movie, large disgusting mandibles emerged from the villain's mouth, dripping with a black ooze.
Mei grabbed one of the hard light shields, activated it, and ran straight into Baldy with all her might. She had braced the best she could, but the impact was still jarring. She felt something tear in her shoulder. Mei was doing her best to hold the villain down. He grabbed the shield's edge and rolled her onto her back. Mina stumbled, grabbed the villain by the side of the head, and unleashed her acid. He screamed and tried to hold her to throw her off. Mei grabbed at his hand, keeping him from defending himself, and she ignored the acid dripping down on her. Mina tore the villain off of Mei and tossed him to the side, her vision slowly returning to her. Mei reached into her pouch and threw a capture grenade as she scrambled away, pulling Mina.
Ochaco stumbled to her feet and was yanked towards Grey again. This time, Ochaco was met with a hard punch to the gut. Then the villain cackled and grabbed Ochaco by the shoulder, driving her thumb into the wound, making Ochaco scream. Ochaco grabbed the back of the villain's head and head-butted her for all she could. They both saw stars, but Ochaco did so again. This time, Ochaco's forehead landed clean on the villain's nose, breaking it, making the villains release the hold on Ochaco's shoulder, and they both fell back.
"NEGATE HER GRAVITY!" Ochaco heard someone yell. Ochaco reacted as a metal capture scarf came out of nowhere, grabbed the villain around the waist, and yanked her away. Ochaco saw Mr. Aizawa use the woman like an improvised wreaking ball and swing her into the Man-Spider, then drag her up and over, sending her crashing down again. Like the Man-Spider, Grey was unconscious on the second attack; by the third, it may have been overkill.
Mei dug into her bag and threw an aerosol can at Aizawa, "Use that on the wound on Tenya's leg; it will plug the wound and stop the bleeding; it also has a numbing agent!" she shouted as she pulled another from her bag and began to treat Ochaco. They had barely managed to start treatment when the sound of the swarm suddenly died down considerably. They looked and saw portals opening and closing at incredible speeds. From the swarm came the monster, landing on the platform with Shigaraki stalking up the steps.
"Now, who brought our little friends to the party," Shigaraki sneered, blood seeping from numerous wounds. "I owe them a handshake."
Avalanche
Melissa fired off a repulsor shot, hitting the ghastly creature, but to her surprise, it seemed to be able to shrug off the shots, and with a strange burst of speed, it closed the distance and stuck Melissa, sending her flying.
"Son of a bitch," Melissa muttered as the thing was in the air coming at her again. She righted herself and launched into the thing's gut, tackling it from the sky; they crashed into the ground. The thing's claws racked over the armor, leaving long scratches; Melissa ignored the attack and head-butted the thing. With an incredible display of strength, it was able to throw Melissa off; she was airborne, activating her thrusters, and she whirled in the air, raising her arm. The micro missiles deployed and hit their target, sending the creature cartwheeling away from the explosions.
"Target is still active," Icarus reported.
"Good," Melissa turned to a tree, using a laser, she cut the thing free quickly; when the beast came leaping towards her, it couldn't see the smile she had behind her mask, but it did see the massive tree trunk being swung at it like a baseball bat.
Ejiro's heart was pounding as he engaged Creepy. The thing was quick, and it closed with him. Ejiro threw a straight left, and the thing dodged. It wasn't that it dodged. It was how it did so by flipping up and over the punch. As it did so, its large mouth opened, and it bit one of the spikes protruding from Eijiro's shoulder, which was from his hardened form, clean off.
Ejiro turned as the thing was now behind him; creepy dove at him, its mouth wide, looking to take another chunk; despite the snow, Ejiro jumped back as the thing arced before him. He punched at the top of the thing's head, sending it crashing into the snow. Like some strange snow shark, it came up and out so quickly that Ejiro fell back from its bite attempt. It whirled and came at him again; he was on one knee. He got his hands up and caught the thing by the jaw. The razor-sharp teeth paused at Ejiro's hardened skin before they sank in and out of the back. Ejiro yelled in pain, doing all he could to keep the thing's jaw from closing around his head.
Bakugo raced towards the Ice Woman, determined to make quick work of her. A snarl plastered to his face, he leaped in with a right hook; the woman just leaned her head back, allowing the punch to fly by harmlessly. Her hand came and raised over the metal gauntlet; Bakugo's snarl was replaced by surprise as the gauntlet frosted over. He could feel the cold penetrating as the metal suddenly cracked and touched the inside of the chamber break, and some faint drops of liquid hit his arm, then froze and stuck in place. The gauntlet fell to pieces around his arm, but he raised it and tried to ignite his quirk for the first time. It sputtered, but then it happened, and it ignited.
A bit of his sweat had been collected in the chambers of his gauntlet; when the snow woman broke it, the bits froze and stuck to him. The crystals of nitroglycerin stuck to his skin ignited the explosion, which was unfocused and wild. Combined with the gauntlet's integrity already crumbling, the entire device exploded, sending the shrapnel everywhere. It was like a fragmentation grenade had just been unleashed. Bits of metal tore into the villain and Bakugo alike and sent them flying apart. Bakugo tried to push himself up from the ground, blood pouring from numerous wounds. He saw his opponent doing the same, but her wounds began to close or be frozen over; a look of venomous hatred and anger flashed over her face as she pushed off the ground and attacked.
Bakugo managed to jump back, her hands grazing his shirt; it began to freeze and break. He threw a clumsy sidekick kick, hoping to knock her down; with astonishing agility, the villain jumped over the kick and landed a spinning kick to his head that knocked Bakugo to the side, his vision blurred. His heart rate spiked as he tried desperately to counter with an uppercut that hit nothing. A jumping knee to his chest sent him onto his back, driving the wind out. The villain was ready to fall upon him, and an unfamiliar sense of dread filled him.
Bakugo got his foot under her, grabbing her clothing as her arm caught his arms; ignoring the sudden pain in his right arm, he used her momentum to send her over him and away. The Ice Woman rolled through the snow but was back on her feet and charging. Bakugo grabbed at his arm. A strange sensation of pins and needles across his forearm, the blood freezing and tearing open wounds, and a sudden burst of pain kept him from being able to react. He held his arm and looked up to see her hands coming to grab his head; there was nothing he could do. An impotent roar of defiance was all he could muster as death was mere fingertips away.
Suddenly, a blast tore over his head, singeing some of his hair; it struck the villain in the chest, her momentum halted, and launched her violently away from Bakugo; he could feel the cold from her hand so close to his face. Melissa landed before him, and two more repulsor blasts tore from the suit, striking the villain and sending her back further; a strange device emerged over Melissa's shoulder. An electrified net fired, hitting the villain; her screams filled the area momentarily before she fled unconscious. Bakugo tried to say something, but the pain was too much; he suddenly felt something cover his arm; he looked and saw part of Melissa's armor running off of her like water and forming over his arm from the wrist to the elbow.
"It will keep you from losing your arm; don't blow it up!" Melissa's voice rang out. Bakugo felt the pain lessen; he watched as part of Melissa's armor, which was missing, was reformed. He noticed the back of Melissa's armor mass decreased.
"I didn't…" Bakugo began to say.
"Yes, you didn't ask. I don't care," Melissa cut him off. A panel opened at Melissa's hip, and a canister was in her hand as she began to apply the medical foam to cuts and wounds. "This will stop the bleeding; you have shards of shrapnel lodged inside that will need to be removed."
Ejiro fought through the pain, pushed to his feet as he pulled Creepy's jaw open. With a monstrous roar escaping Ejiro's lips and a violent cracking and tearing sound that would keep him up at night, he tore Creepy's jaw open. Blood splattered everywhere, but Ejiro didn't stop; with some space, he drove a knee into this opponent's gut, creating space and driving the villain to one knee. Ignoring the blood coming from his hands, he landed a left/right combination; the villain was now on his hands and knees. A hardened punt kick turned the villain's lights out; Ejiro sank to his knees, staring at the gaping wounds in his hands, "Ow," he muttered as he pulled out some bandages.
Fire Zone
Sero dashed to the side, avoiding an attack from The Damned. The hooks sparked against the ground as they were about to be yanked back. Sero fired his quirk, attempting to bind them to the ground. He spun tape, firing again, this time towards the villain. Her blades intercepted the attack, cutting the tape in mid-flight.
Fiend let his fire roar as Shoto stumbled back, creating an ice wave to block the attack. The ice provided enough cover for Shoto to avoid the attack; he broke to the side to try and land an attack, only for a fire spout to crash above him. His ice shield spang forth desperately to disperse the spout; it spread out, melting the shield. He barely saw the follow-up attack from Fiend. His shield exploded, sending him flying back across the field, bouncing off the pavement.
Sero saw Shoto fly and was distracted. Turning to his classmate, he took his attention off the villains. The Charred man close the distance quickly grabbed Sero by the arm and tossed him towards The Dammed. Sero's arm began to blister and bubble from the intense heat radiating off the villain. Sero screamed in pain as he flew through the air. His scream was cut short as he collided with one of the hooked blades of The Dammed. His eyes were wide as the blade sank deep into his stomach, a strangled gurgle escaping his lips.
Shoto pushed himself up; his eyes widened as he saw Sero fall to his knees, grabbing at his stomach as blood seeped through Sero's fingers. The Dammed looked over at Shoto with a sadistic grin on her face as she plunged a large blade down into Sero's shoulder. Sero screamed; a dismissive knee to the jaw sent him falling back. An anger unlike anything Shoto had ever known began to bubble inside Shoto as he stared at the villains. Everyone was focused on him, watching The Dammed and Charred step over and turn their backs on Sero.
Shoto saw the flames formed behind Pyro; a glow filled the mouth of the Fiend. Charred cackled, and The Dammed licked her jagged lips. Shoto hated his fire; his fire represented Endeavor, his father. His father had driven him hard since his quirk had come in; at first, Shoto was happy for the attention and the special time they shared. But it was during that time that he noticed a look on his oldest brother's face that made Shoto feel weird. Only years later, he understood sadness, anger, and jealousy. It was after his brother had died after his mother had broken that he saw the face in the mirror.
Shoto always felt his fire below the surface, always waiting for him. It would bubble whenever he laid eyes on Endeavor. Whenever that man came home and spoke dismissively to his sister Fuyumi, he ignored Natsuo. Fuyumi cared for him, a mother and a sister, a gentle touch to fill his life with love. Natsuo was quiet, but he was a good brother; they would sit for hours playing video games, and after, Natsuo would help him with his homework. But the fire was always below the surface whenever he got angry or saw Endeavor. Or the haunted look on his mother's face when he would visit her in the hospital; this was different. This was more than anger. This was rage.
As the fire Pyro had collected arc high into the air, ready to crash down on him, the blood pooled around Sero; Shoto just let go; he removed the chains and poured all he had held back over the years, all he had buried. Shoto's fire exploded in a brilliant white torrent like a primordial force. Pryro's attack was consumed as the white fire tore through it; Shoto brought his arm down and swept across, consuming The Fiend's attack. The white jet grew in size with each fire it consumed. The Fiend screamed as the flame blasted over him, and flesh incinerated instantly. The Charred man ran to embrace the flame, screaming wildly; as the fire hit him, he began to cackle as the flame hit just like before. The Charred man stumbled, his manic actions slowing, and then he started to scream in horror, and his charred skin began to harden and blacken.
The Dammed cut to the side, her blades flying forth as she howled like a banshee. Suddenly, bands of tape fired, grabbing the blades and yanking them away. The Dammed whirled. Sero had stumbled to his feet, the wound on his stomach covered by tape. Sero grinned, fired his tape wrapping around the villainess, and yanked them together as he landed a thunderous right hand on her face. Bits of the chain, teeth, and blood flew as she crumpled to the floor. Shoto's fire cut off, he staggered, his hand sang, and his clothing blackened. He glanced at Pyro, who was attempting to flee; he looked at Sero, who fired his quirk without breaking eye contact with Shoto. Sero's tape wrapped around Pyro's legs; Sero yanked, and the villain fell to the ground, his head bouncing off.
Sero stumbled. Shoto slipped his arm around Sero to support him. "Nice fire," Sero mumbled as he fell unconscious. Blood fell from his mouth and seeped past the tape. Shoto fumbled for his medical supplies when he turned to the sound of the Swarm falling through a portal over them; he fired his quirk only to see it dodge past.
"We are here to help Shoto Todoroki; Izuku Midoriya and Mei Hatsume have summoned us," Shoto paused. "Hanta Sero is in critical condition; allow us to attempt to save him."
Shoto just nodded his head as the swarm descended. In a scene that could have been from a horror movie, he began to plug the holes in Sero's body.
Storm Zone
Tsu crouched low as the strange woman drew near, her body loose and ready to react; all the actions this woman had taken screamed at Tsu that this villain was deranged and dangerous. Tsu had the light shield ready, but suddenly, the Wraith jerked and disappeared, only to reappear right before Tsu, her bony hands outstretched. Tsu, already low, brought her head up in a vicious head-butt, landing under the villain's jaw and snapping Wraith's head back, sending her stumbling away. Tsu's attack landed solidly; as it did, Tsu heard the cry of pain from the villain but then felt this sudden surge tear through her body centered on where Tsu had made contact with the villain.
Dazed, Tsu rolled backward, "Oh, how tasty," the villain moaned; Tsu saw a sickly yellow-green aura around the woman as her features filled out more. "Such youth! Such Vigor! Give me more, little frog; let me devour you!"
With a lightsaber, Momo moves towards the lightning villain, Raijin. "Tell me who sent you, and I will let you walk away. Fail to tell me I will carve the answer from your flesh, and you may live to walk again someday."
"Such big words from a sheltered little princess," Raijin sneered. "You think your glowing little trinket is going to save you! You will find yourself on your knees like a good bitch before long!"
Momo's eyes narrowed as the villain raised his hand to the air; the lightning flashed above them. Bolts raced toward Momo with excellent agility; she dove from her spot at the last moment, planted, and was airborne, leaping in with her lightsaber. Raijin's eyes widened as he barely turned to avoid the attack; Momo immediately launched a backswing, forcing Raijin to fall back and away, the hiss of the blade edge coming a fraction of an inch from his chest. Raijin was on his back; Momo was on her feet, about to attack again, when lightning fired from Raijin's fingertips.
Momo raised the blade, pulled most of the attacks to it, and seemingly absorbed it, but one bolt still managed to land, hitting her in the leg. Momo hissed in pain, not wanting to give this villain the satisfaction of hearing her yell in pain. The attack should have done much more damage by her calculations, but thanks to the upgraded fibers of her suit, she may be in pain but could keep fighting.
Tsu felt dazed, but when the Wraith disappeared again, she raised the shield to block the attack and force the villain's arms up and over. Tsu slid the shield under the villain's chest, pushed off with her powerful legs, lifted the villain into the air, and launched her back. Tsu felt the villain's claws like nails graze her back, but there was no sensation like before. She must need skin-to-skin contact, Tsu thought.I'm glad I made my suit to keep me covered and warm!
Tsu pushes Wraith away, lands, and dives forward with the Light Shield before her like a battering ram. Wraith tumbles across the ground; by the time she locates Tsu, it is too late. Tsu crashes the shield into Wraith's face, breaking her nose. Tsu mounts Wraith, pinning her arms with her legs; she deactivates the shield and begins to rain down punches until the villain stops moving.
Momo sneers at Raijin, "Surly, you can do better than little man."
"Stupid girl," Raijin spits back as a massive lightning bolt comes crashing down.
Momo's quirk flairs to life as she hurls a lightning rod into Raijin's shoulder. It works, and the bolt strikes Raijin, and the villain screams in pain. He is not immune, Momo screams mentally. She had theorized that he would resist lightning as most elemental users have some resistance to their elements, but very few are immune. Raijin tried to move, but Momo hit him with a thrust kick, sending him down. Her quirk flared to life again as she stabbed Raijin's hand with a spear; she spun to the side and kicked him in the face, sending some teeth flying. More lightning rods were created, and she planted them on the ground around her. Raijin rolled to try and pull the spear, pinning his hand, only to see his hand go flying off, cut clean by Momo's lightsaber. Raijin screamed only for another kick to the face to silence him. He fell onto his back, and as his vision cleared, Momo was above him; his flesh hissed and began to melt as the tip of the lightsaber was just above his heart.
"Now you will tell me what I want to know, or you will die," Momo stared down at him coldly. "I will not let some unseen force dare to come into my life and try to take from me again. NOW TALK!"
Ruin Zone
Pinnacle cracked his neck from side to side as he approached Izuku. "Surrender, and your friends will get to live."
"Who sent you?" Izuku replied; he felt Toru leave his side.
"Doesn't matter," Pinnacle replied. "Your services are needed."
"My services?" Izuku's eyebrow raised.
"Yes, your services, you and your pink-haired girlfriend," Pinnacle responded.
This man is working for someone else, Izuku thought. He is not with the Lab Coats.
"You are free to make an appointment," Izuku laughed. "But this is hardly the way to do so."
"What can I say? We don't like to wait," Pinnacle retorted as he pushed off and ran, speaking Izuku in the gut and taking him down.
Toru turned and tried to kick Pinnacle off of Izuku, but a woman appeared before her out of the fog and hit Toru with a right hook. Toru got her arm up and deflected the follow-up left, firing a counter jab that hit clean but pushed through the villain's face. Toru froze as the Mist Villain shifted, and suddenly, the villain was holding Toru in both hands and threw Toru away from Izuku.
Izuku landed with Pinnacle on top of him, trapping the villain's head with one arm and using his legs to keep Pinnacle from advancing in his position. Pinnacle was strong, but so was Izuku. While Izuku was sure that Pinnacle might be a more skilled fighter, Izuku could use his strength and training to his benefit in this position. Daki was a great bear of a man, and he had taught Izuku how to wrestle when he was just a little boy. That training increased after the attack, and Izuku received his new hand. Daki had been a state champion in his youth and was happy to pass his knowledge down to his adoptive son. Izuku bucked his hips as he released the hold on Pinnacle's legs and kicked him repeatedly, allowing Izuku to take the top.
Toru landed, scrambling to her feet; she heard a sound behind her and dropped flat as a giant wreaking ball swung overhead. Toru rolled and dove as it came crashing down where she had just been. She saw the fog clinging to her body, clearly outlining her. "That is some bullshit!" Toru yelled. She saw Wrecker yank the ball up and was ready to attack again; Toru dove forward past his attack as it was another downward smash. Wrecker was bent over, Toru under him. She pushed up with a jumping uppercut, snapping the villain's head back. She spun to the side and landed a sidekick to Wrecker's left knee. She was about to follow up with a knee to the face when Mist appeared and landed a sidekick to Toru's gut, and Wrecker sent her flying with a backhand that drew blood.
Pinnacle and Izuku were grabbling for the position; as soon as it became clear that Pinnacle was at a disadvantage on the ground, it became a scramble drill for the villain to try and get to his feet. He had broken free, but Izuku grabbed his leg and took him down again. Izuku was on top, landing punches to Pinnacle's ribs with his robotic hand. Pinnacle felt a rib crack; he got a hold of Izuku's face and pressed his thumb into Izuku's eye. Izuku went to defend, allowing Pinnacle to push Izuku off and get to his feet.
Izuku was on one knee trying to clear his vision; he saw Pinnacle come in with a running knee strike. He raised his arm to block the blow, but the force sent him toppling back. Izuku pushed to his hands and knees and ate a kick to his ribs for his effort, sending him down, followed by another. Then, the third came, and Izuku was on his side. He did his best to absorb the blow, trapping Pinnacle's foot. Pinnacle tried to free himself; Izuku placed the robotic hand against Pinnacle's thigh. The red crystal came to life, and Izuku severed Pinnacle's leg; Pinnacle screamed as he fell to the ground.
"No more fucking games," Izuku growled, who sent you. Izuku heard his name shout; he turned and saw a wrecking ball swing at him. Izuku couldn't move, and the ball hit him in the chest, bending his body around it and sending him flying crashing into a wall, blood flying from his mouth as he crumbled to the ground.
"You are done now," Wrecker bellowed as he came tearing from the fog. Toru screamed Izuku's name and raced towards him, only to get tackled by Mist.
Toru tried to push Mist off of her; she would feel a moment of resistance, and then her hands would move through the villain. "Let me go!" Toru screamed as she fought to break free. Toru saw Wrecker swing again, and Izuku managed to stumble away barely; blood was everywhere. Izuku drew his blaster and fired, but he missed, and the wrecking ball flew again. Mist punched Toru as she tried to block and get free. Izuku ducked under another attack that crashed into the wall behind him. Pieces of rubble fell all around him. He was down on one knee, and he raised his hand. The red crystal flared to life and fired a blast.
Toru saw Wrecker's arm and shoulder be sheared clean off as the villain fell to his knees before toppling over. Mist froze; Toru tried again to free herself; she felt the resistance, and when she did, she tried to focus on that. She pushed with all her might against that; she could see Izuku crawling, blood falling from his mouth.
"GET OFF!" Toru screamed; she felt something, that resistance; she felt like she could grab it. Toru grabbed and pushed it away. The mist was thrown violently away as an invisible force around Toru exploded, sending her flying. Toru scrambled to her feet and raced towards Izuku. She slid to her knees, caught him, and he fell over. "Izuku!"
Izuku coughed, and blood was dribbling out his mouth; she could hear his breath rattling as if it were filling with liquid. The fog suddenly surrounded them, and Toru was kicked in the back. Toru didn't let Izuku go. She covered his body with her own as more blows rained down.
Then, a strange noise enveloped them like the sound of hundreds of insects. Toru felt a sudden heat, and then she heard Mist screaming in pain. Toru looked around and saw all these insects around. Their bodies were glowing, radiating immense heat, dissipating the fog and burning mist.
"Hephaestus," Izuku managed to say. "Analyze and treat!"
Toru heard a strange voice from the swarm, "As you command, father."
"You, one of his creations, hurry; he needs help," Toru yelled, laying Izuku down.
"Yes, we are Hephaestus, Toru Hagakure," the swarm answered. A sphere came racing down from the sky and quickly scanned Izuku. "Toru Hagakure, we need your help; if you do not act, then Izuku Midoriya will die."
"Oh god," Toru said. "What do I do?"
"First, remove his left hand," the swarm said.
"What?" Toru shouted, and then she saw some insects land on Izuku's arm; as they did, she saw the hand's metal nature again, and it disconnected.
"Take the hand, remove the kyber crystal from the center, and place the hand over his face," a very calm woman's voice came from the sphere. "Please hurry, Toru Hagakure!" Toru watched as more robotic insects landed on the hand, and they began to break down. "Toru Hagakure, please hold open his mouth."
"But…" Toru started to protest.
"Time is of the essence," The sphere responded. "The royal guard will not be able to extract him in time for proper medical care; he is dying."
Toru held open Izuku's mouth, and suddenly, the hand and parts of the swarm broke down and poured into Izuku's mouth. "What are you doing?"
"We are breaking down the hand to its Nano bot components and will use them to repair the internal damage that has been done," The sphere responded. "With this, Izuku Midoriya will live."
Toru watched as the machines went to work; she was almost numb when she heard a grunt and heard something behind her. She turned and saw Wrecker on his feet, missing an arm swing his weapon down on them. It all moved in slow motion. Toru felt the urge to move to save herself, but Izuku would be done for it, which was not what heroes do. Again, she felt that strange surge all over her body, the feeling of something lying on her skin.
"NO!" Toru screamed; she raised her hands and pushed against that layer, the feeling of resistance she had felt fighting Mist. As the massive wreaking ball came crashing down, Toru closed her eyes, but there was no sense of pain. She looked, and not only had the attack been halted a few feet from them, impacting an invisible shield that crackled all around her and Izuku, but she could see her hands extended above. The shield buckled some, and Toru felt it push her arms back some; this was her shield, she suddenly realized. Toru screamed in defiance and pushed with all she had; the shield expanded and launched Wrecker away and through a building. Toru felt a flood of warmth, then something wet on her face; her vision started to haze; she touched her face, and when she pulled her hand back, it was covered in blood. She could see her hand; she felt the world waver as she fell over.
Landslide Zone
Kyoka and Mezo were in a precarious position, Denki being held by the villains with a razor pressed to his throat. When the sky over the plaza darkened, signaling the arrival of the swarm.
"HALT VILLAINS!" A hollow voice boomed from somewhere within the swarm. "RESISTANCE IS FUTILE, SURRENDER NOW! EXTREME FORCE HAS BEEN AUTHORIZED!"
The voice could be heard over the landslide zone; it gave Kyoka and Mezo the needed distraction. They both burst forward; Mezo raced toward the Earth Quirk user, smashing two of his spikes and shoulder-blocking him to the ground. Hot on his heels, Kyoka set her jacks out to yank the razor blade away from the villain holding Denki.
Electronic, startled by both the surprise arrival of the swarm and the students' attack, went to slice Denki's throat, only for him to get stopped by Kyoka's jacks wrapping around his wrist and yanking it away. Still, it did leave a small cut on Denki's throat, who, after Kyoka tackled Electronic away, stumbled clear. Electronic took the razor and slashed at Kyoka's cords; blood splattered, but Kyoka didn't stop. Electronic slashed towards her face. She got her hand up, and the blade opened up a large gash. Using all the strength her cords could muster, she yanked his arm to the side as they wrestled on the ground. She took her bleeding hand and smeared it in his face as she tried to land punches with her uninjured hand and tear at what she could grab.
Mezo and Earth went down in a heap. Mezo's extra arms sprang forth and trapped Earth's arms at his side. Unfortunately for Mezo, Earth didn't need his arms to use his quirk, and spikes exploded all around them, stabbing Mezo in the legs and some piercing his side. Mezo tried to bite back the yell of pain, but to the villain's surprise, Mezo did not release his grip. Mezo grabbed the villain's head and landed punches, trying to get the villain to stop, but the spikes drove deeper. A sharp elbow momentarily dazed Earth, halting the villain's attack. Mezo Duplo's arms released the villain, breaking the spikes into this side. Earth was about to say something, but a series of head-butts silenced his taunt. Until Earth fell limp, the spikes attempting to skewer Mezo crumbled and fell.
Kyoka was in a frenzy as she attacked Electronic. She managed to maneuver her knee between his legs, landing a crushing blow on the villain's balls. Kyoka used the opening to tear the headphones off the villain, which may have been connected somehow by the splatter of blood that accompanied it, but Kyoka did not stop. She jammed her jacks into his ears and pumped her racing heartbeat directly into his brain, shutting the villain down. Kyoka sat up and grabbed more electronics, tearing them away. Mezo yelled her name as some of the villains from the previous fight that Denki's all-out attack had not downed were on their feet and charging them.
The shouts of their attackers were suddenly drowned out by the strangest sound Kyoka had ever heard. It was this roar, a nearly primal scream of hundreds if not thousands of tiny voices united. She grabbed her ears as the Swarm raced past her and enveloped their attackers; she was thankful the swarm could drown out the sound of the villain's screams.
Flood Zone
Mineta tore an orb from his head, stuck it to the deck, and held on for dear life. Dark Shadow grabbed Fumi and the railing, holding on for dear life. Sato was slammed back and nearly through the back railing, but thankfully, it held. Sato collapsed to the deck; he had regained enough of his senses and saw the Creature come leaping off the mast, red claws extended towards them. Sato went low toward the attack, got under the claw strike, and came up with an overhead right, catching the creature in the chest. The combined momentum sent the creature flying past them and crashing into the metal wall of the cabin.
Mineta spat out water and was on one knee when a water tendril lashed out from the Elemental's hand, striking him in the stomach and sending him tumbling away, gasping for air. Dark Shadow sprang into action; the Elemental seemed to ignore the attack until Dark Shadow's claw tore through the villain, and a strange muffled scream escaped her lips. When Dark Shadow went to attack again, she shifted and flowed around his attack; the snakes atop her head lashed out, biting deep and earning a yell from the sentient quirk.
Fumi tried to rush to Dark Shadow's aid, only for a water tendril to sweep from the villain across the deck, catching Fumi in the chest and sending him flying back and nearly over the edge. By luck or skill, Fumi could grab onto the top railing and keep himself from being sent overboard, but it yanked his shoulder out of the socket as he flipped over and banged against the ship.
The creature let out a gutter growl as it charged at Sato. It ran across the deck on all fours like some beast, and Sato assumed a fighting stance. When Creature was close, Sato launched a downward arching right that hit nothing but air and broke through some of the planks on the deck. Creature shifted past the punch. Its claws flashed and tore a huge gash out of Sato's thigh, sending him down to one leg. Creature slid past, planted its claws into the deck, leaving long gashes, and rocketed back in to attack again.
Mineta stumbled to his feet, grabbed a piece of broken wood near him, spun, and threw it towards the would-have-been rather sexy water elemental if he was trying to drown him and his classmates freaking. He watched as it spun through the air and hit Elemental. It seemed to have no effect as it caught the villain in the side and passed through. Elemental glared at him, raised her arm, which grew into a massive water tendril, and came crashing down to crush Mineta like a grape. He dove to the side, narrowly avoiding being smooshed. Mineta saw Elemental struggle momentarily to lift the tendril back up, and he noticed the tendril had crashed onto the orb he had used to keep from being washed away. Elemental did free itself, but when it did, the orb was inside the tendril, and the villain couldn't shake it. Mineta smiled sadistically, "I am going to fill you up with my balls!"
Dark Shadow was ducking and dancing around the snakes, attempting to overwhelm him; his claws lashed out and severed one of the snakes. It fell to the deck and splashed, breaking apart. The snake did not grow back. Instead, the area where Dark Shadow had cut it from seemed to hiss. The snakes recoiled, allowing the quirk to get its bearings. The area hissing bubbled and hissed louder, and then a new snake popped free. The fear from Elemental seemed to subside, and the attack began again. Dark Shadow growled in defiance as the battle renewed. A snake would bite deep, making Dark Shadow bite back cries of pain, but his claws would not stop slashing more heads. They would hiss and bubble, but new snakes would emerge. However, the process was getting slower. The Dark Shadow noticed they were slowing down, and he saw about 8 of Mineta's orbs floating inside the villain.
Fumi had climbed back over the rail; he saw Mineta avoiding attacks and launching his orbs into Elemental; for some reason, Mineta was yelling, "Jordan!" as he looked to be shooting a basketball sometimes with rather impressive form. Fumi looked to Sato and saw his classmate bleeding profusely from the leg and shoulder as the Creature was racing around, darting in and out with incredible speed. Fumi saw Sato land a solid hit, and the thing tumbled away, only to scramble back to its feet and rush back in.
Fumi looked around and saw an emergency kit on the side of the cabin wall; he ran over and opened the box, seeing a flare gun. He pulled the flare gun out and struggled to get it open with his separated shoulder; loading the flare, he stumbled, leaning against the corner of the cabin, took aim the best he could, and fired towards Creature. The Flare raced across the deck. The creature reacted to the flare and dove to avoid it but ignored Sato. Sato grabbed the leg, twisted it, and slammed it to the deck, making the thing bounce; he didn't let go and did it again. Fumi grabbed another flare and struggled to reload. The creature finally released and turned to attack Sato again, seemingly forgetting about Fumi. It growled, blood and foam dripping from its twisted maw, and leaped at Sato. Fumi's shot was accurate and hit Creature in the side; the Creature howled in pain as the flare hit and embedded in the villain's side.
Sato landed an uppercut, and Creature fell back, thrashing as if it were being burned. Sato downed another sugar packet, ran and kicked Creature with all his might, sent it crashing into the railing, and nearly threw it. "Hit it again!" Sato yelled.
Fumi fired and hit Creature in the stomach; Sato charged and thrust kick Creature, sending it through the railing and to the water below.
Dark Shadow saw the purple orbs swirling inside the elemental, and then it noticed them collecting in an area deep in the spout. "There you are!" Dark Shadow growled. It cut a few more snakes, ignored the bites, and plunged its claws deep into the orbs, where it felt them hit something solid. Dark Shadow grabbed and yanked a sickly, slender woman out of the water. The water around her fell away as Dark Shadow slammed her to the deck. The woman would have bounced the Mineta's orbs attached to the woman and stuck her to the deck. Not missing a beat, Mineta ran and kicked the villain in the side of the head, knocking her out.
"Good work!" Dark Shadow said.
"Thanks!" Mineta replied, he saw the blood pouring from Sato, "Try to find more bandages!" Mineta ran to Sato, trying to use the bandages he had left to help his classmate. They heard a clamor on the ship's side as the villains from the water began to swarm out.
"Incoming!" Dark Shadow roared, taking up a defensive position. Mineta looked up, fear creeping in; he bit his lip and returned to treating Sato.
"Hold them off," Mineta said.
Fumi took position next to his brother, "You will have the time you need."
The villains leaped over the railing when the swarm came out of nowhere, consuming their attackers and sending them back into the water. "Treat your wounded, and we will see you are kept safe," said the swarm.
Forest Zone
Koji and the Satyr tumbled across the ground in a tangle of limbs. The Satyr landed a good right that drew some blood, but Koji grabbed the villain's horns and began to slam his head off the ground. The Satyr seemed dazed, but he landed a punch to the throat, making Koji release his grip. As Koji was gasping for air, the villain got its power legs under Koji; placing its hooves on his chest, it launched Koji away, sending the student crashing hard into a tree and splintering the bark. The Satyr got to its feet, trying to ignore the swarm of squirrels biting and clawing at it; it grabbed them, throwing them aside. The Satyr saw Koji getting to his feet; it pawed the ground once, lowered its head, and charged. Koji heard the squeaks of the squirrels. He saw the charging villain and managed to get out of the way at the last second as the Satyr crashed through the tree, toppling it.
Ojiro jumped over the Bear villain, spun in the air, and brought his tail crashing across the villain's back; as he landed, he ducked under a club swing from the Barbarian. He was about to fire off a punch to the villain's gut, but he stopped and shoved instead, using his hands and tail for leverage, sending the villain skidding back. Bear was still moving but struggling to get up; Ojiro couldn't press his advantage, and Barbarian quickly re-engaged. Ojiro knew he could not strike at the villain but could manipulate and toss him around. That seemed to cause some damage at least; he pondered if it was some field around the villain but was absorbing the blows. If that was the case, then maybe it was tight to the body but not skin tight; if he could rattle the man inside the field, hitting his barrier would cause enough damage to subdue him. Like shaking something in the side of a shell
Koji caught the Satyr by the horns as the villain charged again, sending him skidding across the ground. Koji did his best to plant his feet, twisted his hips and the horns, and yanked the villain off balance and to the ground. It was similar to wrestling a steer to the ground, an experience Koji was not fond of, but now he was thankful for the experience; his girlfriend would be happy to hear it had saved his life. Koji got his knee across Satyr's throat, choking the villain and landing hammer fists on his face. The Satyr tried to get him off, but Koji used the villain's horns to put pressure on his throat. Squirrels and field mice began to swarm, biting and clawing at the villain.
Ojiro slipped to the side of a wild downward club swing, grabbed the Barbarian's wrist, twisted, and yanked. He heard the Barbarian yell and release the club. Ojiro was hit with a clubbing blow that sent him stumbling away, but he had disarmed the villain. Bear was up and attempted a double claw strike and fell back, managing to avoid most of it, but it still shredded his gi and drew blood. Using his tail, he rolled back onto his feet, swung the club one-handed, and cracked Bear across the jaw, snapping the villain's head to the side. The Barbarian tried to catch Ojiro off guard again with another wild swing; the villain was untrained, Ojiro noted, simply relying on his quirk to keep him safe. If the man had bothered to train in fighting, he could be incredibly dangerous, not that he wasn't dangerous now but even more so. He grabbed the Barbarian legs and yanked him to the ground using his tail. A sudden flash of brilliance flared in Ojiro.
Ojiro used the club to hit Bear again, then dropped it and yanked the Barbarian towards him. He grabbed the villain by the legs and, using all his strength, spun and used the villain like a weapon against his friend. Bear stumbled and went to attack back, but suddenly, the villain's eyes drooped, and its shoulders slumped; Ojiro didn't stop. He swung his Barbarian club with all his might overhead and crashed it down on the Bear's head, knocking him out. Ojiro grabbed Barbarian and repeatedly crashed the villain's head against a rock. Ojior noticed the villain's eyes getting glassy, with a wicked grin; Ojiro didn't stop until the villain stopped moving.
Koda stumbled over to Ojiro; they both looked and scanned the forest, searching for Yuga; they could hear the sounds of battle not too far away and began to run towards it when Yuga came flying through a thick cluster of bushes. He was bleeding from a head wound, an arrow sticking out of his shoulder, and a few more broken shafts sticking from different places. Ojiro saw a massive man carrying an unconscious woman fleeing further into the forest. He saw burn marks on the man's body, and he was limping badly.
Yuga looked at his friends, his eyes glassy, "Nice to see you again," he managed to say before passing out.
"What should we do?" Koji asked, pulling some medical supplies.
"I want to go after them, but we can't leave Yuga behind," Ojiro responded. "They are on the run. Let's get him bandaged, and we need to get out of here before these villains start waking up!"
"Agreed!" Koji said, doing his best to stop the blood coming from the head wound.
Front Door
Aizawa took position in front of his students, facing the two villains; Mina, her sight returned, blinked a few times but did her best to smile at Shigaraki. Ochaco grunted as she stumbled to her feet; Tenya sighed. "Well, I guess our rest period between rounds is over."
Mei heard the hum of the gun on her back spring to life, signaling it was recharged. "I would consider shaking your hand, but you first seriously need some moisturizer, and you seem to have a bit of a hand fetish, not something I am familiar with; I have read about foot fetishes, but Izuku and Melissa are not into feet. Izuku has this one thing…" A look from Aizawa caused Mei to stop talking.
Mei slipped her into her pocket and typed in a command, and the remaining orbs slowly descended towards them. "Nomu break their legs," Shigaraki commanded.
The Nomu blurred; this time, Aizawa dived to the side, immediately avoiding the attack; Mina slipped sideways, sending a spray of acid at Shigaraki. Who managed to dodge out of the way before he burst forward to attack Mina. Tenya's quirk flared to life as he raced in and intercepted Shigaraki, landing a sidekick to the villain's gut, sending the leader of the league flying back and crashing into the guard rail. The Nomo pivoted and rushed Tenya; three spheres dropped in hard light shields interlocked and deployed. The Nomu's thunderous punch slammed into the shields, but they held.
"Eat pink rings, mother fucker!" Mei yelled, firing her rifle again. The rings hit the Nomu and seemed to have little effect, but it did knock the Nomu off balance and send it a few feet away. "It has some sort of kinetic resistance but not nullification!" Mei called out. The Nomu charged again, only to be blocked by Spheres; Ochaco sprang into action and tagged the Nomu. Aizawa grabbed the Nomu with his capture scarf around the arm and yanked with all his strength, sending the thing flying out over the plaza.
"Mei, get it out of here!" Aizawa shouted.
"Spheres remove the floating hostile from the USJ," Mei said. The Spheres sprang into action, flying up and using their shields under the Nomu and pushing it up.
Shigaraki rolled out of the way of Tenya's dropping Axe kick that left a dent in the ground. Shigaraki attempted to tag Tenya's leg, but he got it out of the way barely in time. Mina's acid came flying in and hit Shigaraki's arm and the strange hand that was there as part of his costume. The acid hissed and began to eat through shirt, hand, and onto his arm. Shigaraki hissed in pain and anger as he rolled again to avoid a stomp. Shigaraki spun off one hand and attempted to sweep Tenya's legs, but Tenya jumped to avoid the maneuver; when he descended, a portal opened underneath him, ready to swallow him. Aizawa used his capture scarf and yanked Tenya back, barely out of range of the portal that snapped shut.
Unfortunately, Tenya landed on his back; Shigaraki made some manic yell as he dived for Tenya, only to be intercepted by Mei, who came in swinging the rifle like a bat. It crashed into Shigaraki's face, sending the villain's teeth; the hand covering his face, flying, sparing Tenya.
Mina ran and delivered a layout dropkick, hitting Shigaraki in mid-air and sending him crashing towards the railing, only for Shigaraki to be intercepted by a portal. Another portal opened, and the Nomu came crashing through with the Spheres on top; the Nomu could grab and destroy a Sphere. Ochaco ran to catch the Nomu's leg, but she had aborted her attack and dived to the side when another portal opened.
Aizawa turned and spied Kurogiri and activated his quirk, targeting the Nomu, Kurogiri, and Shigaraki and negating their quirks. Kurogiri stumbled, grabbing his head; the Nomu whirled, pushed off the ground, and launched towards Aizawa; the two remaining spheres knocked the Nomu off course, sending it sideways and crashing into a wall. Shigaraki was on his feet, in a panic. He didn't see the punch from Tenya that snapped his head back, and Mina followed with a kick to his injured ribs. Shigaraki managed to deflect Tenya's next attack, then grabbed Tenya's arm, expecting Tenya to start ashing, but nothing happened. "Stupid Earserhead!" Shigaraki growled.
Tenya grabbed his arm and flipped him over his shoulder, slamming him to the ground; Tenya wrenched Shigaraki's shoulder and dislocated it. "Tenya move. I have to blink!" Aizawa yelled. "Mei capture grenade?"
Tenya moved away, "I am out!" Mei called out.
Shigaraki rolled and scrambled to his feet; Aizawa fell through a portal as Kurogiri landed behind Ochaco, grabbing her around the neck. Ochaco struggled, but Kurogiri, whose clothing was torn from his encounter with the swarm, took his free arm and dug into the foam and Ochaco's wound, eliciting a gutter scream of pain from her before she passed out from all the pain.
Shigaraki checked Mina's kick, slipped past Tenya's punch, and grabbed Tenya's helmet. It ashed almost instantly. Mina grabbed Shigaraki and yanked him away so he couldn't touch Tenya's face; Tenya went to act, only for the Nomu to land before him and backhand him away, sending him crashing into a wall, blood flying from his mouth. Mina stumbled from the impact of the Nomu landing. She saw Shigaraki's hand coming for her face.
Aizawa came running in and punched Kurogiri away from Ochaco. His hair rose into the air, and Kurogiri was rocked. Aizawa didn't stop; he landed a quick combination, took Kurogiri's legs out, and pinned the villain to the ground. He rose and landed punches, and some mist fell away with each punch.
"Shota?"
Aizawa froze and looked down; light blue hair and blue eyes were staring up at him. "Oboro?" Aizawa whispered like a prayer. The Nomu was there snatching Aizawa by the hair; it slammed Aizawa overhead before throwing him away like a ragdoll.
Mina tried to scramble away; Shigaraki sneered; his fingertips were just a few inches away when Mei came crashing into Shigaraki with her hard light shield, knocking him to the ground. Mina got her feet and fired her acid, forcing Shigaraki to roll to his back; he yelped as the acid burned his skin. The Nomu's head snapped towards them, blurred; Mei got the shield up, and the Nomu's fist collided with the shield. It cracked and shattered, sending Mei flying away, her arm broken. The Nomu went to follow up. Mina sprayed the creature's face with acid and ran over to Mei to try and get her to safety. Mina hoisted Mei up; they watched as the melted flesh of the creature regenerated. As the eye reformed, it locked on the duo.
The doors of the USJ were torn open; a laser shot came ripping from the opening, striking Shigaraki in the shoulder and sending him down. From the opening, a heavily armored knight clad in ornate, shining white and gold armor burst forth. The armor features intricate patterns, including a prominent golden cross-like emblem on the chest plate. The knight is wearing a helmet with a pointed crest and angular design, and the face is obscured by shadow or fabric. A flowing white cape is draped over the shoulders, adding to the majestic and heroic appearance. The overall design suggests a holy or divine theme, with the color palette and symbols evoking purity and righteousness. A large, complex, light shield shaped like a kite on one arm and a glowing sword on the other raced across the battlefield and crashed into the Nomu, lifting it off its feet and knocking it to the plaza below.
Kurogiri was on his feet; a portal opened under the knight, and thrusters fired from its back, moving it away. A tall, slender, athletic woman came flying in dressed in a gothic-inspired combat dress with intricate embroidery and a high neckline. The dress has long sleeves with flared cuffs and a short flared skirt with sheer fabric underneath. Thigh-high black stockings and heeled combat boots, her arms are covered in gloves up to her biceps. Her silvery-white, chin-length hair with a side-swept bang flew behind her as she was on Kurogiri in a moment. Her eyes were concealed by a sleek, black, blindfold-like visor; a sword flashed to her hand. Kurogiri opened a portal, and with deft speed, she leaped over the portal, landed, and struck. The Sword flashed and tore through the edge of the metal brace; she spun and landed a sidekick, sending Kurogiri flying. She blurred and was ready to take Kurogiri's head, but he opened a portal behind him, taking him to the plaza below.
From the doorway came a young man with short silvery white hair that was slightly messy; he resembled the goth woman. He had a youthful, androgynous appearance. He wore a black double-breasted uniform with gold buttons and black pants, giving him a formal yet military look. The jacket included a high-collared one with decorative embroidery, cuffs, and black boots. He had a black blindfold visor like his counterpart; he had a laser rifle in his hands as he scanned the area, moving towards where Aizawa was down, checking his vitals.
Two more knights, slenderer than the one who had engaged with the Nomu. They looked to be a fusion of medieval armor and advanced technology resembling Melissa's armor, but instead of blue and gold, one was trimmed in red and the other black; the helmet was a sleek, high-tech knight helm. One knight broke towards Ida, and the other came to Mei with a large pack on its back.
The red knight pulled a half cuff from the pack and set it on Mei's arm; it sprang out, covering Mei's arm and stabilizing it. "Did you bring it?" Mei said as the cuff covered her arm and the painkillers kicked in. She took a deep breath.
"As ordered, Mother," Red Knight responded. It pulled the good-sized case from the pack, a large handle folded out.
Shigaraki was pulled to his feet by Kurogiri, "Young Master, we should retreat. The situation continues to grow out of our control; the Swarm will return soon; our forces are dwindling."
"A bunch of NPCs will not defeat me," Shigaraki bellowed. "Nomu, kill all of them, tear them limb from limb!" The Nomu leaped high over the railing, ready to answer its masters' command.
Mei was on her feet; Mina watched as she hoisted the case onto her shoulder, holding the handle like a trigger; the case began to morph and shimmer as it changed into a massive gleaming black and gold cannon—a harness formed on Mei's chest. A targeting reticle flipped into place. Mina stepped back as stabilizing arms fired from the chest piece, locking Mei in place, and gold cables fired from the cannon did the same.
The Nomu was in mid-flight, and the 8-foot-long, 3 1/2-foot-wide cannon barrel lit up. A sphere of energy, white, purple, and gold, began spinning rings around the sphere.
"Boom baby," Mei said., a wicked smile on her lips.
The cannon fired with such force that Mina would have been thrown to the ground, but the red knight caught her. The deep thoom of the shot was heard around the entire USJ.
Melissa's head whipped towards the front doors, "God damn it, Mei! You had better wear the harness this time.
Shigaraki and Kurogiri were thrown off their feet, and they saw the energy sphere connect with the Nomu, which halted in mid-air. The sphere continued to spin as it did, and the Nomu shrieked as its body was ripped apart at a molecular level. The beast's shriek was silenced as it was consumed.
The sphere consumed and tore through the Nomu, destroying it completely. The Gothic woman came over the railing alongside the white and gold knight.
In the center of them landed a man dressed in ornate, silver-and-blue armor adorned with intricate designs and blue gemstone embellishments. He has silver hair and wears a regal cape with a similar blue and silver color scheme. The armor includes lion-head pauldrons, spiked gauntlets, and leg guards, giving the character a noble yet battle-ready appearance. "As royal guard captain, I will accept your surrender." The captain said.
"I will have your head!" Shigaraki yelled. "I will not be bested by some pink-haired wench who does not belong here!"
The Gothic woman seemed to blur from her spot. Kurogiri tried to move, but only for the White Knight to do the same and send him flying with a shield bash. Shigaraki was hit with a straight right that sent his teeth flying and broke his nose and orbital sockets. "You will not speak of mother in such a fashion," Gothic said, skidding to a stop.
Shigaraki made an impotent cry as Kurogiri dropped them into portals in retreat. "Lieutenant, get to father; he is injured and in need of transport," The Captain said. The Gothic woman nodded her head and took off into the USJ.
The Sphere continued through the air, tearing a hole in the side of the USJ; it continued to arc high until it exploded in a ringed star. All-Might was flying through the air; off to his left, he saw the explosion, "I hope she was wearing the harness this time."
The staff arrived as the sphere tore from the USJ; they ran in as some of the students emerged from their zones, immediately running to support them as others raced into the zones to secure the villains and, in some cases, locate the bodies. Nezu stood directing the staff as the reports started to flood in. He would have to deal with them later as the medical staff was dealing with the flood of student injuries. He looked at the "Royal Guard" and wondered what else Junkyard Support had up their sleeves.
