Are you and the child, alright, Miss?" He asked her as gently as possible. It couldn't be him. But Sarah knew that voice.

"Jareth?" Sarah whispered suddenly. It was then her vision clouded and her world went black. Sarah gasped, opening her eyes.

Was it a dream? Jareth was back, not in owl form but he looked...human. Toby...Toby was with her when that car almost hit them. Sarah surveyed her surroundings. She was in the most elegant bedroom.

Glancing down, she noticed her leather jacket was missing.

She could tell it was a man's bedroom but it also contained the intricate details like what a royalty bedroom would have. Jareth. He had to have taken them back to his place! Sarah quickly removed herself from the bed, unaware that the man who saved them was watching her with piercing two colored eyes. "You shouldn't move so hastily. You and the child had a traumatizing experience. There was no blood loss or anything of that nature. But you have a twisted ankle. The child is alright." Sarah turned to stare at Jareth. He came from the doorway, a resounding aura just like the very first time they met.

Only this time she could see the worry in his eyes. "Jareth?" She asked, siting down on the bed. "That's the second time you've called me by that name. Is he your boyfriend?" The man enquired, approaching her slowly. He wanted her to see she was safe and he wouldn't hurt her. For some reason he felt sick to his stomach to think she was nervous around him. He didn't understand. He didn't know the girl at all.

Sarah could see he wasn't trying to trick her into revealing what he was to her. "No, he isn't but you look identical to him. A very strong uncanny, younger resemblance." She replied, studying his features. "My baby brother-" She started, wanting to know where her Toby was in his home.

The man, identical to Jareth, smirked. "Oh him? I sent him to live with the evil witch who lives in the gingerbread house." Sarah stared at him and in a muttered voice, "Better than last time, I suppose." The man stared at her. "What was that?" He asked. Sarah shook her head. The man smiled again. "He's in my parlor either drawing or watching cartoons while eating." He told her at last. She couldn't tear her eyes away from him. "I should know the name of the young lady whom I rescued." He told her, almost in a flirty voice. "My name is Jacob King." Reaching out her hand, he grasped it and bought it to his lips. "My name is Sarah. Sarah Williams. My brother's name is-" Sarah noticed how Jacob King looked at her. It instantly brought her back to when Jareth pulled her into his arms during their ballroom dance right before he declared his love for her. Quickly, she snatched it away from his lips.

Jacob found her endearing. He grinned. "Toby?" He asked her. "You said his name in your sleep." So his name was Jacob King. He was identical to Jareth. She knew Jacob King was British. Did that mean Jareth was a British Fae? "You just love him more than your own life." His statement reminded her of one of the last phrases Jareth said to her, Sarah could help but stare at him with an astonished and bewildering look in her eyes. "Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave."

Sarah could only nod her head. "Thank you for all your help, Mr. King." She told him sincerely, "I don't know what I wouldn't have done without you." She extended her hand in a handshake. Jacob gave her a heartful smile, returning the handclasp. Seconds afterwards, he clutched his other hand over hers. "I refuse to be a Villain. I would rather be the hero for a certain young lady."

Sarah got up from the bed. Jacob sighed before lifting Sarah up which surprised her. "I won't have you worsen the injury." Sarah wrapped her arms over his shoulders for extra support as he carried her. Why was she thinking of Jareth when she was in Jacob's arms? Sarah didn't understand it then but when she was in Jareth's arms, she did feel safe.

Five years ago, Sarah wouldn't let herself think of it but Jareth was handsome. On her part, there was an attraction. And he did have a well toned form. Again. Why was she thinking so much of the Goblin king? Yes, they looked nearly the same but Sarah could see Jacob King was human!

Jacob led her to his parlor. She noticed the time. It was 10 PM. Oh Man. She knew she was in trouble. Especially with Irene after listening to that one phrase on the news... "It's Ten PM, do you know where your children are?" Sarah sighed. "Do you happen to have a phone? I need to call my step-mother."

Jacob sat Sarah down. Toby ran over to her. She look him over carefully. It was incredible. Not one scratch or bruise on him. "Sahwah, are you okay?" Sarah watched as Jacob retrieved his phone which was a rotary dial, before placing it in her lap. Sarah tried to calm her nerves. She dialed her Father and Step-Mother's home number.

Irene answered. "Sarah. Thank Goodness. Where are you and Toby? If this is how your going to be-" Irene began. Sarah rolled her eyes. Unlike when she was sixteen, Sarah knew to let Irene have her say. "Irene," Sarah began calmly. "Toby is okay. I'm sorry I didn't call you sooner." Sarah knew her Father and Step-Mother didn't worry about her. "I just lost track of time and all. It won't happen again." There was no reason to mention the near car accident. Toby wasn't hurt and that's all that matters and her own injury would be healed in a few days. No harm was done.

Her Father took the phone from Sarah. "We have a good mind not to let you see or babysit Toby again if your not going to be responsible!" Sarah wanted to cry. She wanted to tell them but they would probably blame her for the car almost hitting them anyway. In a determined voice. "I'll bring him home tomorr-" Sarah began but her father interrupted her. "No, you'll bring him back in half an hour. I'm so disappointed in you, Sarah." He stated before slamming the phone down.

That went well. Sarah turned to Jacob who had heard the whole exchange. "I'll drive you home. Just tell me your address." Sarah smiled. "Thank you." Jacob stopped himself from asking why she didn't tell her Father and Step-Mother about the accident. He willed himself to let it go. But he couldn't stand the injustice they gave her.

Jacob helped her into his Ferrari. When he made sure she had the seat beat on and was as comfortable as she could be, he went to retrieve Toby. Sarah knew what took him the longest time was to put Toby's coat, muffler and hat back on.

When they were in view, Sarah gave a sign of relief. Not because she feared for Toby but there was another factor. Her father and Toby's mother wanted him home. Sarah knew her own mother cared more bout partying and acting than for her own child. Sarah definitely had regrets. Why didn't she bargain with the Goblin King? Return Toby to his parents and she would have stayed with him, becoming his Queen.

It was crystal clear her own parents didn't love her. Sarah understood her Father and her step-mother cared about Toby and only when it suited them. She carried the biggest regret. Jareth, I want to see you. It was at this moment, Jacob put his right hand on her shoulder.

Sarah turned to Jacob King as she felt his warm hand upon her. Sarah counted down to when Jacob pulled up at her Father's house. 3 minutes to spare. "I can't thank you enough for everything you've done today, Mr. King. You were my Knight in Shinning Armor."

Jacob stared at Sarah, the car was parked. He turned to Sarah. "Would you like to make it up to me?" Sarah stared at him with perplexed eyes. "How?" She asked. Jacob smiled. "Have dinner with me." Sarah lowered her eyes, thinking about it. For some reason she found herself nodding her head. "Great." He replied, stretching in his seat to retrieve his wallet. Inside was his business card.

Sarah unclasped her seatbelt, turning to look at her Father's house. There was something mysterious about him that she did want to figure out. Jacob smiled before caressing her hand before being it to his lips again. Sarah turned and stared at this lips. Jacob saw how those green eyes lingered on him.

Jacob knew his worth. Many woman declared their love to him and yes he's had many love affairs but he knew there was a certain woman he wanted and he just hadn't met her. Sarah, on the other hand, kept replaying the moment the moment Jareth took her into his arms. Why did this feel so similar to that?

Jacob unhooked his seatbelt to help Sarah out just as her Father opened the door, waiting impatiently. He opened the Ferrari door and walked to Sarah's door to help her out. After Sarah lend against his car, which he was more than fine with. After all, she was positivity captivating. He opened the door and helped Toby out.

Sarah forced herself not to show her sprained ankle, limping or any weakness near her Father and her Step-Mother. She made her way to the last step, Toby gripping her left hand tightly when Jacob called out to her. "I'll be waiting, Sarah Williams." He whispered as he glanced at her once more before returnnig to his car and driving off into the night.
