Hey there, time to get the conclusion of the church arc. This is a long chapter, and I hope you all be ready because this will be full of stuff that will change from the canon. It's not 100% just like the main story, this one is going to be its own thing.
I know that some of you might not like the decision that I make here, but I wanted to do this, and its my story so let's see!
Note: The writing in this chapter might not be the best, I wasn't feeling good in the head when writing this so there might be some mistakes here and there. Apologies.
At the entrance of the Church
Tanjiro was with his sword still up and he was aiming towards the trio of Fallen Angels. He wasn't sure if he should kill them or not, he knew they did horrible things, but they were now in a weak position and they were apparently abandoned by the person who wanted them to commit those crimes. After taking a long breath he decided to speak.
"Please don't kill us.'' Said Raynare.
"We aren't going to hurt you.'' Said Millet.
"What are you going to do with us?'' Asked Kalawarner.
The demon slayer slows down his weapon, making the trio looking at him confused. They didn't know where this would go now and if he was affiliated with the church or some other group.
"Are you three being sincere?'' Asked Tanjiro.
"We are we don't have anything left in this world. We just have each other.'' Said Kalawarner.
"I know we did bad things, but please let them go! I will take the punishment.'' Said Raynare.
Tanjiro could see the begging in her eyes, there was even some tears. He could see that those words were genuine, so he took he decision.
"No.'' Said Tanjiro making the girls gasp in horror.
"You are going to slaughter us!?'' Asked Millet in horror.
"No, I am not going to kill you three.'' Said him putting his sword back in his waist.
The trio looked at him in shock, he looked like he was really going to finish them and now he backed down.
"Why? Why aren't you going to kill us?'' Asked Raynare.
"At this point do you three have anyone who wants your services? The bad services that you were all doing in this church?'' Asked Tanjiro being skeptic because he didn't know what they were doing.
"No, there is not a single being that care for what we do now.'' Said Raynare looking down.
"We know we did bad things, but we had no choice! We got too much tentation, and it was hard to avoid.'' Said Kalawarner.
"I know that humans have that instinct! Why do you think so many of them joined us?'' Asked Millet.
The trio just looked confused at Tanjiro, they were expecting a big speech about ``you three are going to spent the rest of your life in jail or bla bla bla``, but he was being quiet which made them very nervous.
Raynare decided to ask the big question.
"Why aren't you going to kill us? We did horrible things for both following order and personal gain. For a lot of beings we are as good as dead, so why are you taking pity on us?'' Asked her
"Because I don't think there is any good in that at the moment. You said you are all as good as dead, so if I killed you all don't you think this is a quick and easy punishment?'' Asked Tanjiro.
The explanation shocked the three and he was right. If he killed them it was all over for their suffering, but keeping them alive it would just be misery and downright anxiety every day non stop.
"Why are you doing this?'' Asked Millet now scared.
"You three committed horrible crimes, most of which I am not sure what about. So I feel its fair that you all live in fear now that you are not protect anymore.'' Said Tanjiro.
"You are just going to say that so easily?'' Asked Raynare in shock.
"I don't like doing the job of a judge, but I feel that everyone needs a fair trail. Unlike Demons I don't smell blood and carcass in your hands so I can give you all a pass on that.'' Said Tanjiro.
"And what would be of us?'' Asked Millet scared.
"I don't know but until you find a path for forgiveness I wish you three good luck.'' Said him all calm.
The demon slayer turn his head away and was about to march.
"Goodbye.'' Said him.
Tanjiro walked away from the three Fallen Angels who were all mess. No home, no money and no purpose. They felt they need someone to teach them how to find redemption and they had their sight on the same person.
"Wait!" Scream Raynare
"Uh?'' Asked Tanjiro confused.
"Don't leave us!'' Said Raynare.
"What!'' Said Tanjiro confused as the trio went towards him.
"We don't know what to do now. We cant go back into our homebase so we are stuck in living in the human world and we don't know a thing about it! We are lost, cold and hungry.'' Said Raynare.
"Please help us!'' Said the trio bowing to him.
Tanjiro didn't know what to do now in that situation. He usually had someone of a little bit higher rank than him to make that sort of decision, at the moment he didn't know what Urokodaki or Giyuu would have done.
Tanjiro however in his heart knew he couldn't just leave them alone, so he decided to just see where this would go.
"Do you three have eaten today?''' Asked him.
"No.' Said Kalawarner with a blush.
"It's ok, I will buy you three dinner.'' Said Tanjiro much to their shock.
"What! You would do that for us?'' Asked Raynare.
"Yes, if you three want my help then I should at least give you all some guidance. By the way my name is Tanjiro Kamado.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.
The three fallen angels just blush at that as they followed him as if he was a powerful animal. With that the trio of Fallen Angels left the perimeter of the church.
At a Soba stand
Tanjiro bought the trio some bowls of Soba, onigiri and even a order of Karaage. Those three were really hungry.
"Keep coming they are not done.'' Said Tanjiro to the Soba owner.
The trio kept eating like they haven't had a decent meal in ages, even for three slim looking girls they were sure to get some pounds added it.
"This is so good.'' Said Kalawarner eating her soba.
"Yes, I don't even remember if Grigori food was this good.'' Said Millet.
"I am so happy that we found someone that is taking good care of us.'' Said Raynare smiling all happy.
Tanjiro was seeing the trio eating happily their meals, he eaten his share because it was so late, and it would be rude to wake Anya to get some dinner. He decided to sit down and see if the trio was doing ok.
"Are you all liking the food?'' Asked Tanjiro.
"Yes Tanjiro-kun! You are better than a actual angel.'' Said Raynare.
"I am glad that you all enjoy, now you're going to give me some answers.'' Said Tanjiro all serious.
The trio stopped eating and looked at Tanjiro who wasn't showing that bright smile that they seen earlier, this Tanjiro now was with a expression that could give shivers down someone spine.
"Woah! Tanjiro-Kun we are getting scared by you.'' Said Millet.
"We thought we were all good with you.'' Said Kalawarner.
'A little bit yes, but there is a lot that I want to know from you three.'' Said Tanjiro.
"Like what?'' Asked Raynare scared.
"Tell me everything that happened in that church. What were you three doing and who scared you all?'' Asked Tanjiro all serious.
Millet and Kalawarner looked at each other a little bit anxious, but Raynare was all quiet at this point.
"Uh!'' Said the two.
"I know it's not nice, but you still have committed crimes that I am not aware of. If you want to start a path for redemption you have to at least confess them. Also, I paid your meal you all own me that.'' Said him.
The blonde and blunette were a bit scared but Raynare decided enough is enough.
"Girls, its fair. We are not going back to that life. Tanjiro-kun this what happened.'' Said Raynare.
Raynare told him all about the plan. On how they were luring a innocent nun to take off her Sacred Gear ``Twilight Healing``. She also talked about some weird boy that kept appearing and running things and that lead to his group of devil destroying the church and defeating Raynare main force.
Tanjiro listens to the story and was disgusted, but he wasn't in pure rage at the girls because nobody truly died with this experiment. So in his eyes they did some horrible things but they are no near as horrible as the demons. He also didn't know that the people that she was referring about were the ones from the school.
"So its over now? You are not going to hunt anyone Sacred Gear no more?'' Asked Tanjiro.
"Yes, I am going to try new things. If you have so much belief in me then I might be of great assistance in the future. I don't know in what kind, but I will work hard to find it.'' Said Raynare.
"Us too!'' Said the other two.
The demon slayer didn't know what to do at the moment, he wasn't great at solving problems like this but he was still a person with a big heart and he couldn't let those three just be out there in the cold.
"You three have really no place to stay the night?'' Asked Tanjiro.
"No, we lived on the Fallen Angel Headquarters.'' Said Millet.
"Do you also have some changes of clothes?'' Asked him.
"Not much, we can conjure some with magic but if we keep this up it will run out eventually.'' Said Kalawarner.
"So, no home, no clothes and no food, ein?'' Asked Tanjiro.
"Yes, please help us Tanjiro-kun! Give us a little bit of help and we promise to repay you.'' Said Raynare bowing on the floor while Kalawarner and Millet did the same.
The poor boy started to sweat in nervousness, he hated deal with situations like this but he didn't know where in Kuoh he could send the girls so he went with his conclusion.
"Well…I can get you three to stay at Anya-san house.'' Said him all nervous, because that was breaking a ton of rules in Anya house. The Fallen angel girls on the other hand were all ecstatic and happy.
"Really!'' Said the trio.
"Well, I need to ask her first.'' Said him a bit regretting this decision.
Tanjiro hated doing stuff like this, he was a guest in Anya house, and he was letting strangers that a few hours ago were attacking him. He just focused in trying to help them finding a redemption, it was crazy but he had to try new things.
"I cannot believe I am doing this!'' Thought him.
The Fallen Angels were just beaming in happiness, they were being taken care of by someone with a good heart, strength and compassion. They were even starting to blush a little.
"He is truly the almost carrying person I've ever meet.'' Thought Reynare.
"How come there weren't guys like him in Grigori?'' Thought Kalawarner.
"Oh Tanjiro-kun, never leaves us!'' Thought Millet
Tanjiro was already feeling like he was going to do a lot of explanation the following day.
At Anya house
Tanjiro showed around the place for the trio that would be staying with them, he just hoped they didn't make any mess. When he arrived he saw that the lights were on.
"Anya-san are you here?'' Asked Tanjiro worried.
The trio then saw Anya on the floor sleeping due the spell having back firing when being chanted.
"Does she usually sleep in the floor?'' Asked Millet.
"No.'' Said Tanjiro worried.
The demon slayer went to see if there were any bruises or any scratches, but he saw none, that made him very relief.
"She is fine, a few dirty spots but nothing that a shower cant help it.'' Thought him.
Tanjiro then hold Anya like a princess and carried her towards her room, he was a bit embarrassed but he didn't wanted her to sleep on a dirty floor like that.
"Let me put her to bed and I will show you all around.'' Said Tanjiro.
Once doing that Tanjiro shows the rooms of the house and where is everything. After that he grabbed some towels, and some futons for the girls.
"Anya-san had those for multiple guest so we have her to thanks again for her generosity.'' Said Tanjiro with a smile.
Tanjiro set the futons on the floor and got some pillows for each girl, after everything was finished he was getting now pretty tired.
"I will go to bed now, please don't make any noise and if something happens call me. Understood.'' Said Tanjiro.
"Yes Tanjiro-kun!'' Said the trio.
"Have a good night.'' Said Tanjiro.
The trio of Fallen Angels went to their futons, just wondering what would be of them now, they might be without a home or protection, but they had Tanjiro with them and for some reason they felt ok with just that.
"We can't allow anything bad happen to Tanjiro-kun.'' Said Raynare all serious.
"He is a life saver, he deserves everything!'' Said Kalawarner.
"Yes, we should do something to thank Tanjiro-kun for everything he did for us tonight. I mean food, shelter and believing in a redemption for us! I want to give him everything I have, if I had any stuff.'' Said Millet a bit embarrassed.
"I wish we could give him a very good ``thank you`` present, but what can we get?'' Asked Kalawarner a bit disappointed.
"Me too but I am not getting anything.'' Said Millet a bit sad too.
Raynare then had a look of enlightenment, she had an idea.
"Oh, I got it!'' Said her.
"What is it?'' Asked Kalawarner.
"Don't you see. We have the perfect gift to get to Tanjiro-kun!''
"And what is it?'' Asked Millet.
"Ourselves!'' Said Raynare with a smile.
The two girls looked at each other in confusion as Raynare soon explained her idea.
At the ORC
Rias was giving a glass of water to the rescue nun now member of her Peerage Asia Argento, she was now the wilder of the bishop piece and was going to be a great assets for her team.
"Please drink some more, Akeno will be done with your food.'' Said Rias.
"Thank you Gremory-sama.'' Said Asia.
"Call me Rias Asia, and for now on I will be helping you in your life.'' Said Rias.
"Right.'' Said Asia a bit nervous.
The nun had been resurrected and was still trying to process everything that had just happened to her over the last few hours. She heard that Raynare and the other Fallen Angels girls got away and she prayed to never have to see them again. At least she was safe with new friends even though they were devils, she just wonder if she would see Tanjiro again.
At the Church
The Armed Detective Agency have been called to deal with the little stunt of the Fallen Angel. They got their best detectives to close that whole place and arrest all the followers that were left unconscious.
"Ok, we got over 30 people so far. I have a feeling that some escaped.'' Said Atsushi.
"This is worse than we could ever imagined. So many followers under our nose and we couldn't sense a damn thing.'' Said Kunikida all pissed.
"At least we have a good chunk of them arrested and apparently their leader got away screaming. She won't be a trouble even more.'' Said Junichiro.
"What if this Fallen Angel would join the likes of the Port Mafia?'' Asked Kyoka.
"I don't think those guys would like to work with someone like that. Fallen Angels have a bad reputation of being backstabbing creatures, be for personal use or not they are not going to accept someone that fail this hard.
Then Fukuzawa appeared, he looked a bit annoyed but not pissed.
"Chief what is the matter?'' Asked Kunikida
"Rias told me that they are keeping the nun who was being kept hostage. She is now her second bishop, other than that nothing to worry about.'' Said Fukuzawa
"I see well at least that girls gets to have a happy ending'' Said Junichiro.
Kunikida looked to see what other clues might be around, and he found the place too quiet which made him worried because that meant Dazai was up to no good.
"Dazai! What are you doing?!'' Asked Kunikida seeing the weird detective looking at floor.
"Looking at the ground. There might be a missing pantie or something.'' Said him with a smile.
"You deviant!' Scream Kunikida pissed as the other detectives just sweat drop at that.
The ex mafioso might be saying a bit of a true there but he was still looking for clues which he found one, a little strand of red hair.
"Well, what do we have here?'' Asked him seeing the red hair and that wasn't from Rias.
"What is it Dazai-san?'' Asked Atushi confused.
"Oh nothing, just sensing that the calm before the storm.'' Said him grabbing his phone and writing a message.
Dazai send the message to Tanjiro, he haven't seen in a few days but he felt that the mysterious boy had some answers to give.
``Come to work in the next few days. I want to talk with you.``
Dazai was very fascinated with the boy with a scar in his head. Unlike the rest he couldn't tell what he was planning or what his deal, he was human but had a power that wasn't heritarite, Sacred Gear or magic, it was something odd and he wanted to learn all about it.
"What are you up Tanjiro-kun?'' Thoguht him.
At the Port Mafia Headquarters
The main heads of the organization Mori, Kouyou and Chuuya heard about the incident of the church and were discussing the repercussions that might come with said incident.
"So, what about the people who had this whole plan?'' Asked Chuuya
"The fallen Angels said it was a plot done out of their knowledge. They have ntohignt to do with this whole cult deal.'' Said Kouyou.
"Well we exterminate that useless crow if she comes into sight.'' Said Chuuya
"No, I got word from Azazel himself. They want to put her in a trial, murdering her without his permission might got us in deep trouble with some of our magical supplies.'' Said Mori with a good cause.
"Crap.'' Said Chuuya.
"Well, this might interest you two. This did me.'' Said Kouyou looking at the report of the chuch incident.
"What is it?'' Asked Mori.
"Apparently someone heard about a boy with red hair, earrings and a sword coming towards the place. He dealt a lot of damage to the followers and wasn't even affiliated with the Gremroy Clan.'' Said Kouyou with a smile.
The information left Mori a bit confused but Chuuya knew what she was referring to. The weird earring kid that defeated Akutagawa and was being buddies with Dazai.
"We will capture that blade at all costs. Holy Weapon or not it shall be on the Port Mafia possession.'' Said Chuuya all serious.
The two didn't know what Chuuya was so serious about, all the knew is that they had a new target and that would be interesting for some hunt.
The next day.
Anya woke up in her room which confused her a lot, last thing she remembered was reading the spell book in the kitchen.
"What am I doing here?'' Asked her.
The girl then remembered what happened, she read a sleeping spell and put herself to sleep.
"I got being affected by my own spell. How embarrassing!'' Said her.
She saw that she wasn't undressed or put in her pajamas, so Tanjiro must have just put her in bed.
"Uh, even with a good opportunity he didn't even tried to have a look. Woah, he is really 10 times more respectable than the dudes at school.'' Said her.
She went to see Tanjiro and saw three empty futons on the floor much to her confusion.
"Did Tanjiro had guest coming over?'' Asked her.
Anya decided to go and speak with Tanjiro, it might be early, but she wanted to see if things were ok.
"Tanjiro what happened in the…''' Said Anya going to speak with the boy she had been staying at her house for a while and get face to face with…an shocking image.
There was Tanjiro laying down on his bed, shirtless showing his abs of hard work, that was ok, what wasn't ok was the three figures laying down on him, hugging him and snuggling him as if he was a plush.
Anya saw three girls on the same bed as Tanjiro and the three were naked as the day there were born, having no shame and sleeping with smiles on their faces. The high school student was in shock to see a black-haired girl hugging Tanjiro right arm, a blue haired woman holding Tanjiro left arm and a small blonde women snuggling Tanjiro chest. All of them just rubbing her bodies in his presence while he sleeps peacefully. Anya, however, was anything but calm at that scene.
"WHAT THAT HELL!'' Scream her.
The screamed waked up Tanjiro who was now worried about Anya state.
"What happened Anya…'' Said Tanjiro confused.
Then he saw Raynare, Kalawarner and Millet all naked and hugging him much to his shock. He went red like a tomato in a second, starting to sweat a lot and have steam coming out of his ears. While Tanjiro was having problems formulating words over that scene the trio waked up.
"aaaah!'' Said Tanjiro in horror.
"Morning Tanjiro-kun, did you liked your present?'' Asked Raynare with a smile as she showed her breast to Tanjiro face.
"We decided since you had so much faith in us we are now totally loyla to you and will follow your wishes.'' Said Kalawarner with a smile.
"With that you can do whatever you want to us. Even the naughty stuff. What do you think of your present Tanjiro-kun?'' Asked Millet with a smile sitting on Tanjiro chest in a very suggestive position.
"AAAAAAAAH!'' Scream Tanjiro screaming louder than he has ever screamed before.
So yes, I decided to make the trio of Fallen Angels be in love with Tanjiro. I know this might be a risky take, but they those three have no much character in canon of DxD so I decided to let them have a redemption arc. Raynare was important just to have Issei killed, after that she is nothing and apparently the reason why Issei just doesn't have sex with the girls even though we know this is horseshit and the reason he can't have sex is because the Publisher doesn't allow it. Kalawarner and Millet are just paper weight in the story, one being there just to show off a leather uniform and the other the Lolita maid, I really like what they did with Millet in Hero Academia DxD where she is Azazel right hand woman.
So yes, Tanjiro knows has to deal with three girls who will offer him their bodies at all time. Its going to be fun to write this, Tanjiro is someone so pure and he will have a heart attack over stuff like this. Remember this is the same guy that is so nice and righteous that they can't lie without making a face.
Now that we are done with the Asia Arc we are going to do a mini arc dealing with Bungo Stray Dogs stuff, haven't touched those subjects in a while and then continue with the story.
