AN: Hi everyone, I'm back with another chapter. I want to thank all who reviewed, favourite and follow. I will try my best to keep the story interesting. There are a lot of possible love interest for Hermione in the air. Hopefully I won't disappoint you when the end paring comes into play. Most of my info I search on google, so please keep that in mind.

The rest of the shopping trip went by in a flash the following day. It involved shoes, bags, backpacks (Hermione refused to let Bella have only one), and workout clothes. They bought easily available accessories, but they would have to travel to Seattle on another weekend for quality jewels.

Bella sighed as she relaxed in the passenger seat. Hermione was driving them back to Forks. "I'm so tired," Bella moaned. "Please tell me we are done shopping for the next two years" She looked at Hermione with pleading eyes. Hermione laughed out a "Nope"

"We will be going on a trip at least once a month. Don't worry, soon you will be dragging me on shopping trips." She said and continued driving. Bella scrunched up her nose at the thought of becoming a shopaholic. "You wish, Aunt Hermione."

"Don't I ever. You are almost 18, we should be busy organising you're coming out ball." Hermione stated deep in thought.

Bella's eyes looked ready to bulge out of her head. "Don't even think about it, I refuse!" she folded her arms and pouted like a child.

"Okay, I will leave it be if you agree to have a monthly shopping trip with me. Deal?" Hermione held one hand out to her which she took. "Deal" Bella sighs. It was a better option than the coming out thing.

Hermione secretly smirked. 'I will make a girly girl out of you, my little niece.' "So back to school for us on Monday. I am nervous. What if they say no because I'm so young…will they even take me seriously?" Hermione rambled and chewed on her bottom lip.

Bella begins to panic. "You are nervous? What about me? A new school, new classmates. They will be all weird and stare at me like I'm some kind of freak." She rubbed her hands over her face and was slowly taking on the appearance of a tomato.

Hermione grabbed her hand just as she parked the car in the driveway. "No need to work yourself into a state. I will be there with you all the way, if you need anything you can come see me, okay love?" Bella nodded

"Now that that's sorted, we have to carry all these bags into the house." She gestures to the back seat that was so stacked with bags you could hardly see out the window. Even the booth is full. This was going to keep them busy for the rest of the weekend.

Cullen Residence Sunday

"I'm not in the mood for school, why can't we find jobs like normal old people?" grumbled Edward as he threw himself on the couch. Pretending to be human all these years has made it second nature for him to act like one. "The classes are getting boring, and the kids are even more annoying." He knew he was whining, but what else can he do when nobody listens to him? They only want to listen when it pertains to his gift.

Alice speeded into the room, looking as bouncy as ever. "Why would you want to quit school now, when your life is about to change and become more exciting." She was wiggling her eyebrows as if that was supposed to mean something. He scanned her thoughts and there was that annoying pair of purple shoes again. Edward growled in frustration. "You have to wait and see, dear brother of mine. Just go to school and everything will fall into place." Always the cryptic Alice.

"Alice love, I think it wise to leave Edward be for a while. He has some thinking to do." Jasper said as he entered the room holding out his hand for her to take. "Care for a stroll little lady?" She giggled and skipped toward him taking his offered hand, they were gone before Edward could utter another word.

'What the hell could be waiting for me at school' he thought miserably.

Monday Morning

"Bella, wake up! We're going to be late!" Hermione grabbed Bella's arm and pulled her out of bed. They packed away their newly bought clothes on Sunday and also picked out the outfits they would be wearing today. Hermione had chosen to go with a cream pantsuit and green tank top underneath, leaving a bit of belly exposed and only showing a little cleavage. She had on green strappy heels with a bow at the back. Her hair was in a twisted bun with curly strands framing her face, finishing it off with some light makeup and blush pink lip gloss.

Back to Bella who was staring murderously at Hermione from her spot on the floor. "Don't look at me like that. We only have 40 minutes before school starts, so get your butt up." Bella grumbled as she made her way to the shower taking the wash products from Hermione as she passed her. "You look good by the way," she mumbled through the bathroom door. Hermione laughed a little and said thank you. "Now we have to make you look better."

It took 30 minutes to get Bella ready and in the car. They only had 10 minutes left before the bell rang. Luckily for Hermione, she had the homeroom period free to set up her classroom for her first class at 8:30 am.

They got there just as the bell rang. Hermione reached into the back handing Bella's Louis Vuitton backpack to her. "Remember to be calm and collected, don't stutter, don't let anything get to you. You are smart and beautiful. Any school should thank their lucky stars to have you. I love you and have a great first day." Hermione gave Bella an encouraging smile as she disappeared through the throng of students who were unabashedly staring at her car and Bella who was wearing a turquoise shirt tucked into black skinny jeans with studded platform boots and a tan trans coat. Her hair was left down.

Guess it's my turn now, Hermione thought, grabbing her Italian leather briefcase, slinging it on her shoulder as she got out of the car, locking it, and making her way to the building. There were a few students still loitering around, gaping at her. 'Hey, it's my first day I just couldn't resist.' Letting out bossy Hermione she halted in front of the starstruck students "Are you lot not supposed to be in class? Did my ears deceive me or did I hear the bell ring almost 10 minutes ago?" She raised an eyebrow at the students and began to tap her heel waiting for them to realise that a teacher was talking to them.

"Oh Miss Granger, You're here. I was on my way to find and escort you to your new classroom." Hermione's attention went to the principal. "I am terribly sorry Principal Greene; I was on my way to your office when I saw a few students loitering. I was just waiting for them to head to class." That's when the principal noticed the 3 male students still openly gawking at the new teacher. 'Hope that's not going to be a problem' "Mr Newton, Mr Crowley and Mr Yorkie why aren't you in class?" He made his voice gruffer, and they all seemed to snap out of whatever trance they were in. "We were just on our way sir" the Asian one responded before they all dashed down the hall.

"NO RUNNING IN THE HALL!" The principal's voice halted them and made them proceed down the hall at a more sedated pace making Hermione smirk. She really liked seeing students being disciplined, she just hoped that she would have that much authority in her classroom.

"So, Miss Granger, would you please follow me to your classroom so that you can have time to set it up before your class in 15 minutes? I also want to thank you for taking the position as our temporary English lit teacher." He opened a door on his left side and let her enter before him. It was a bare classroom with desks on each side of the room and an aisle in the middle. There was a teacher's desk at the front. A normal classroom setup.

"I hope you will settle in okay and will quickly get used to the routine of American schooling." Hermione's attention returned to the principal. " I am sure that would not be a problem, and I would also like to thank you for the opportunity. Not everyone is willing to hire someone so young. So, thank you for taking a chance on me, and I will make sure not to disappoint you, Principal Greene."

"It was a pleasure Miss Granger, and I know you will make us here at Forks High proud. Well, I will let you get settled, you have about 5 minutes left. Good luck and Welcome to Forks High…" With that, he left her.

Hermione sighed she only had a few minutes, so she had to move. Taking out her wand from her briefcase she closed and locked the door and the windows drawing the curtains shut. On the back wall, she did a huge mural of Romeo and Juliet, the balcony scene. On the side wall above the bulletin boards she wrote in big letters, Literature is fruit for the soul. It stretched from the front of the side wall to the back. She placed copies of Romeo and Juliet on each desk and wrote her name on the blackboard. Just then the bell rang.

She made herself comfortable behind her desk and made it look like she was busy with papers but was discretely watching who came in. All the students entered chatting excitedly with their classmates. Everyone was already seated when HE walked in. Edward bloody Cullen!

She glanced at the table her niece was currently seated in and sighted when she saw that her desk was already occupied by a girl with light brown hair chatting intimately with her niece.

Edward made his way to the back of the class and sat by himself. That's when he locked eyes with Hermione who narrowed hers into slits, but quickly looked away and scanned the rest of the class. When she saw everyone was there, she got up from the desk, her Jimmy Choo's clicking against the floor drawing attention.

"Good morning, I am Miss H Granger" She gestured to the board. 'Now that idiot knows my full name.' "Welcome to English literature, I will be your teacher for this semester. You are my very first class, so how about we get to know each other a bit better? Let us start with the first desk here in front." Pointing to the one at the door. "You look a bit familiar, Mr Yorkie, is it? The one who didn't hear the bell this morning and you are sitting next to your other two compatriots Mr Newton and Mr Crowley." She had humour in her voice as the three boys blushed a little for once not having words. The class erupted into laughter. They are usually the loudest in class but now they couldn't make a peep.

Hermione gestured to the next table and so it went until it came to the other side of the room. A dark brown-haired girl in front went first. "I'm Jessica Stanley" Next to her is a blond " Lauren Mallory." The table behind them hosted her niece "Bella Swan" and her new friend "Angela Webber".

On it went till it came to HIM! "Hi, I'm Edward Cullen," he said with a knowing smirk. The cheek of this parasite. All the girls, even her niece seem to sigh at his voice staring at the still-standing Edward. "You may have a seat, Mr Cullen."

"Tell us about yourself Miss Granger, please?" that came from Miss Stanley.

"What is it that you want to know? Keep in mind I reserve the right to not answer too personal questions. You have 20 questions, shoot…" She wasn't sure if she was making a mistake or not, but it was fun interacting with her class in such a normal setting.

Bloody Edward had his hand up first, she had no choice but to call on him otherwise she would come off as rude. "Yes Mr Cullen" "Just Edward please, why did you move all the way to America?"

"My parents died a year ago and I decided it would do me good to be around my only living relatives." Jessica was next "Who are you related to in this small town? I know almost everyone." Wouldn't you, Hermione thought sarcastically. "I'm related to Chief Swan. Next."

"In what way?" a random student. "I'm his little sister." gasps were heard. "Your Bella's aunt?" "yes" "But you are so young, how's that?" Mike asked that one. "I was a miracle child, an unexpected surprise."

Everyone was silent for a moment. "How old are you?" "I'm in my 20's" Hermione was getting bored with the mundane questions. "How could you afford a Tesla?" one of the boys asked. "I come from a rich English family." they gasped again. "Which family?" Edward again. He was having fun getting the info he can't suck out of her head, too much fun. "Granger we are of Noble blood" Great now she sounds like Malfoy with all that blood mumbo jumbo.

"You mean you are royalty?" everyone gasped again at Edward's question. Hermione was getting annoyed with all his questions, fishing at her family tree. Bloody old man. "Not exactly, but we have Lords and Dutchess, yes." "That's why you called dad Lord Charles the other night." oh sweet Bella you are playing right into that idiot's hands. "Yes. The title of Lord Granger is your father's. It was previously on my dad before he died."

Just then the bell rang. Time for her next class. " Well class, that was 10 questions. If you read 5 pages of the book on your desk by tomorrow and be able to tell me what happens in those 5 pages I will answer the rest of your questions, Okay?" "Yes, Miss Granger." They chatted excitedly about what they learned of their new teacher.

Bella moved past her desk and showed a thumbs-up. That means she's likeable; thank goodness she didn't want to end up like Professor Snape. Being disliked till his very last breath. A shadow came over her desk and she growled under her breath "What do you need Mr Cullen? You are going to be late for your next class." She sat back in her chair and stared into his face.

"I'm just a bit surprised to see you at my school and as my new teacher." "You don't say." she rolled her eyes. "Look Edward, I'm your teacher now and I would do my best to be professional if you promise to butt out of my personal life. Now get to class, my next class is already here." She ignored him and stood up to greet her next class, who had Emmett and Rosalie.

Emmett snickered at the dejected expression on Edward's face. They heard every word. 'You want to be a teacher's pet dear Eddy?', he heard Emmett's thoughts as he left the class with a growl of frustration.

The second class went by quickly, but not without a few senior boys asking her on a date, which she wholeheartedly rejected. That would get her fired and ruin her reputation. Anyway, it was lunchtime now and she was starving.

Bella sat with Jessica and Angela and a few of her other classmates. They had biology after English lit and she was seated next to that hottie Edward, but he was acting all weird. Staring at her the whole class and covering his nose. He was up and out of the class before the bell even rang properly. Did she smell so bad that he had to run away? Well, it's Aunt Mia's fault then for buying me Channel number something. She should have used her usual deodorant.

"So, Bella, is it weird to have an aunt that's hardly older than you?" Asked Jessica

Bella sighed she knew this was going to happen as soon as they found out that the new teacher was her aunt. " It's not weird, it feels more like I have an older sister than an aunt." She glanced at the Cullen table behind her seeing that Edward was missing. She did see him rush into the office area. Maybe he was sick or something.

"Your aunt is pretty, are you not afraid of the competition? She might get all the cute guys' attention. She already has Edwards." Lauren remarked in a snarky voice. Bella took offence that this girl was talking about her aunt.

" My aunt is not pretty," Lauren smirked like she won something. " She's beautiful and no I'm not intimidated by her beauty, because I match hers. We are related after all. Another thing is we have very different tastes in men." She stood up and walked out of the cafeteria. Everyone at the table was shocked, they assumed Bella was timid and insecure, but they were wrong.

Lauren was fuming, Jessica looked offended, but Angela silently rejoiced. Finally, someone was standing up to Lauren and Jessica.

Across the cafeteria, Rosalie smirked at the new girl's fire. 'Well, it's about time someone stood up to those girls.' she thought. She might like this human and the other one, the teacher.

Alice smirked secretly. Oh, their family was growing, and she couldn't wait to go shopping. She was bouncing in her seat. 'Now only to convince Ed to return to school.'

Parking Lot

Hermione was sitting on the hood of her car typing furiously on her phone. Corresponding with the family lawyers was tiring but it had to be done because her brother doesn't want any part of it. They were discussing what to do with the Castle Manor on the outskirts of France. She was thinking of selling it; nobody had been there in almost 50 years. But maybe renovating it would do her better, she could make money off of it when leasing it out for events like weddings and stuff. That is what she is typing furiously to the lawyers. When she was done, she put her phone away and looked up to see if Bella was coming out yet.

What she found was the parking lot still full and she was being stared at like she was some kind of ad on a billboard. Some students were even taking pictures, what the hell was going on? She thought frustrated. That's when Bella came speed-walking her way. "Did you see this?" Bella asked as she passed her cell to Hermione. There was a picture of her that was taken just a few moments ago, seated on the hood of her car, hands resting on it behind her and her head thrown back. Hermione's eyes widened. The picture looked pretty seductive like something in a trashy magazine. "What the hell is that? I was never in that position. I did stretch a little and rolled my neck to get the kinks out, but that was taken out of context." she said pointing at the phone.

"Whose Facebook page is that? whoever took that and posted it could cost me my job and I just started." she was beginning to panic. "It says here that the account belongs to Lauren Mallory. That girl had me weary since lunch. Trying subtly to create some kind of rift between you and me." Bella informed her aunt. Hermione looked up from the phone with a calculating expression on her face. ' Seems like I would have to deal with another false-tongued female'. Reta Skeeter doesn't bother her anymore after she was taught a valuable life lesson (don't mess with Hermione Granger). A vengeful glint entered her eye that made Bella shiver.

" Come, Bella, let's head home for some much-needed rest." She got in the car and waited for her niece to get in and drove out of the parking lot. Not noticing the Cullen's speeding from student to student grabbing their phones and deleting the picture of Hermione, making it non-existent as if it was never taken.

I just love the interaction between Hermione and Edward, don't you? Enjoy and see you in the next one. I own nothing just the plot.
