"Welcome back to class!" Izuku said.

Olive walked up to Izuku's desk.

"Oh? If you want to talk, we should wait until after class. It's about to start!"

"Alright." Olive sat in his seat.

Ashi joined the class this time, but there was nobody else new. Ashi had sat next to Olive, giving him a warm and welcoming smile.

Olive watched Izuku with intent as he began teaching about heroic goals and whatnot. Izuku would not shut his mouth! After class, Olive asked Izuku about his path to becoming a hero.

"It's a lot of hard work and dedication, but you can make it some day."

"I'm assuming you got to this point from 'friendship?'" Olive sassed.

"Well, not exactly. Sure, I have survived situations because they helped me out, but I did all of my hard work myself. And the same went for them. The only way to achieve your goals is to work hard for it. Yeah, sometimes you need a helping hand to lift you back up, but they're not going to achieve your goal for you."

"You have to do it yourself? But still rely on others when you need it?"

Izuku nodded. "See? You got it! But not just when you need it, sometimes they need your help too. And sometimes you might just need to be with a friend. You get it?"

"Hm. I think I understand it now."

"That's good! Is that all you needed?"

"Yes. Oh, and Izuku?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm going to work hard to become a hero, just like you! Just watch, I'll replace you soon enough!"

"We'll see about that. You have to graduate first!"

The current teacher for Heroics was Ejiro Kirishima. Olive only saw Kana in this class, meaning the others were scattered through different classes currently.

"Alright class! Today's going to be a target practice! This is probably going to be easy for those with long ranged Quirks, but the short ranged kids will have it even! I have some baseballs here in this bucket, so come grab one."

Some students grabbed the baseballs, but not many of them needed to. Kana winked to Olive as she grabbed one, then came to stand next to him.

"Heyo! So you have this class too, huh?"

Olive nodded. "I thought you could have any Quirk."

"I can, but I think it'd be easier to train only changing a part of me. I've been working on it, but it hasn't really gone well. Maybe if I start with something small, like my arm, first, then I can get the hang of it quickly."

"I see."

"Do you know what your Quirk is?"

Olive fell silent. His "Quirk" was that he was made of metal.

"Olive?"

"We'll see."

As Kirishima explained the rules, Olive tinkered with his arm. Making sure Kana wasn't watching, he found out how to activate an attack mechanism that was programmed into him. He shut the hole on his arm just as Kirishima came over.

"You get that?"

The class agreed, and Olive nodded. He had no clue what Kirishima had said, but he'd figure it out soon, since he was last in line.

The goal was to try and hit the target, which was very far, with your Quirk. For some, it was easy. The harder you tossed the ball, the better. You earned points depending how hard you hit it, and could earn extra points if you destroyed the target. Nobody had been able to yet, but some did damage it, and Kana damaged it pretty badly with her throw.

Next came Olive. He hadn't grabbed a ball, but he also had no idea how to activate the defense mechanism he'd just given himself access to. Obviously, it was for attacking, and that target needed to be attacked. He shut his eyes, taking a deep breath and telling himself the target was an enemy, and opened them again.

It seemed to have activated itself, as a small beep rung in his ears when he opened his eyes. The target was surrounded with a blue target lock, and Olive could feel his arm getting hot.

He held up his arm and muttered, "Locked on target. Objective, destroy."

The panels on his arm popped up, reforming his limb into a large gun-like weapon. A blue charge started in the center. The students stared with awe. It beeped once, then fired.

First, a small beam shot out the center, then a large thick beam after that. The target was blown to splinters, but the backfire knocked Olive over. The beam stopped in the sky, and his arm quickly turned to normal. The class talked in a stir, and Kirishima cheered.

"Cool! You're the only one to bust that target! And with a Quirk like that, you might be pretty unstoppable! Nice job! That's thirty points for Olive."

He stared at his hand, which still held a faint blue glow inside. He'd just fired off a deadly weapon like it was nothing. But why was it so deadly? Was he a super-weapon? Or perhaps...Was he designed to stop Izuku himself? Dimentio would surely be proud if he did that, so he wouldn't have to get the blood on his clothes, but is that was his original purpose was? He smiled. He could kill, and that pleased him. He wasn't a weak, Quirkless pushover. He had a duty, and now it could be fulfilled.

Properly.
