P.V. Normal in a field of flowers within the territory of the united packs
Humphrey: "I see why you wanted to come here, it's a beautiful and peaceful place" I said as I looked out at the landscape
Kate: "I always like to come here so I can rest and gather my thoughts," I said
Humphrey: "Makes sense," I said, nodding
Kate: We both sat looking out at the view and I asked her, "Are you happy?"
Humphrey: That question took me by surprise and I asked, "Why do you ask?"
Kate: "I just want to know," I said
Humphrey: I took a deep breath as I looked at the sky and said, "It's been a really confusing few days, I got my memory back, I went to a really dangerous place and now I share my body with an ancient being, not to mention all the trouble that broke out with the packs because of me, it's not exactly the happiest moment of my life, but I can't say I'm unhappy either, at least I'm here with you" I finished as I looked at her with a smile
Kate: I couldn't help but smile when she said that, "Are you really happy to be with me?" I asked touched
Humphrey: "Of course, and especially for everything you did to bring me back, I didn't know you cared so much," I said
Kate: "Of course I care about you, I love you very much and letting you go the first time was the worst mistake of my life, one I swore to myself I would never repeat" I said
Humphrey: "I'm sorry I put you in that situation, the first time I left was because I couldn't stand seeing you with another wolf, although now I know I was quite selfish, after all you are free to decide who to be with" I said regretfully
Kate: "That day was horrible, I wasn't free to decide who to be with, I was getting married out of obligation and when you told me you were leaving that broke my heart, it took me too long to understand my feelings and know that I loved you" I said while looking at the floor with sadness
Humphrey: "We both made mistakes, mistakes that hurt each other, but we must let go of the past and focus on the future, our future" I said smiling
Kate: I smiled at that and said, "You're absolutely right," then we both stood looking at the landscape, just appreciating each other's company, I knew I had to take advantage of this moment to tell him, but deep in my heart I was afraid he would get scared and run away again, I know he's not that kind of wolf, but after everything we've been through, I hadn't been able to get rid of that fear
Humphrey: We were in that field for several hours until I said, "I think it's time to go back, it's starting to get dark and it's getting hungry too"
Kate: I took a deep breath and said, "Wait, I have something to tell you"
Humphrey: "What is it?" I asked curiously
Kate: "I'm pregnant" I said quickly
Humphrey: "What?" I asked in astonishment
Kate: "I'm pregnant" I repeated a little louder and clearer
At that moment Humphrey went blank
Kate: "Humphrey?" I asked worriedly as I moved a paw in front of his eyes, but they seemed to be blank, "Are you okay?" I asked, starting to worry
At that moment Humphrey's eyes changed
Sein: "You really took him by surprise, you left him in shock" I said surprised
Kate: "Sein? What are you doing here? You're not supposed to intervene today?" I asked a little annoyed
Sein: "I didn't mean to, but you knocked out Humphrey with that sudden revelation and I couldn't just leave him like that," I explained
Kate: "Is this news so bad?" I asked sadly
Sein: "It's not that, it was more the suddenness of it, the poor guy didn't even suspect it, not to mention that it seems that his mind is still somewhat unstable" I tried to explain
Kate: "What do you mean your mind is still unstable?" I asked worriedly
Sein: "Holding two souls puts an incredible strain on him, that includes his mind, it is not something that puts his life in danger and with time he will end up adapting correctly, but it is possible that while that happens, he will have certain breakdowns like the one he just had, caused mainly by very stressful or very unexpected situations" I explained
Kate: "Will he be, okay?" I asked worriedly
Sein: "Sure, he should wake up in a couple of hours" I said
Kate: "That's great," I said, relieved. "Will he remember what I told him?" I asked
Sein: "I'm not sure, but I think so, although we have to wait for him to wake up to confirm it" I said
Kate: "I see" I said with a little sadness
Sein: "I know it's none of my business, but what's wrong with you?" I asked
Kate: "I finally worked up the courage and told him, but I didn't expect this to happen," I said sadly
Sein: "It's not entirely his fault, as I told you, his mind is still unstable and the news left him quite shocked," I said
Kate: "I understand" I said with a sigh
Sein: "Let's go to his cave so he can rest a little" I said
Kate: "Okay," I said, nodding as I started walking with him
Meanwhile with Samanta
Samanta: "I'm finally starting to feel my energy recover, I should fully recover in a couple of days" I said to myself, "I hope Mia doesn't manage to finish my memories before then" I thought, somewhat worried
Meanwhile inside Samanta's mind with Mia
Mia: After investigating a little I found out what had happened, apparently Maximilian's son and sole heir of the pack had died from a new surprise attack by wolves from another pack which caused serious problems within the pack, since Maximilian's partner had died giving birth to her son so there was no possibility of a new heir unless nearby, generating great concerns in the pack, which Victor was taking advantage of to increase his influence, so Maximilian resorted to this with the sole purpose of keeping everything in order and dispelling doubts, although it seems that there are more reasons behind it
Jhon: "Are you okay?" I asked her when I saw her lost in her thoughts
Mia: I quickly shook my head and said, "Yeah, it's just been an emotional day"
Jhon: "I imagine" I said
Mia: "Did you want to tell me something?" I asked
Jhon: "I just wanted to congratulate you, I know you haven't had it easy, but I really hope you can live a happy life from now on" I said sincerely
Mia: "Thank you" I said trying to hide my true feelings, I could also notice a little sadness in his eyes, but I couldn't ask him the reason, although I could get an idea of what it was
At that moment another wolf approached her and whispered something in her ear, "Victor wants to talk to you"
Mia: "I just got married, it will be difficult to see him right now, tell him to give me a couple of days" I said seriously, for obvious reasons he had not come to the event and he would not be well received either
"Two days is the most he will give you," said the wolf before leaving
Mia: "I understand" I said while sighing, "What is Samantha planning to do?" I wondered, at this point it would make no sense to continue infiltrating with Victor, it would already be more than clear who she would be on the side of, after that the celebration took place normally
After several hours all the wolves were returning to their caves and Mia was walking with Maximiliano
Maximiliano: "Ready for your new home?" I asked
Mia: "I can't wait" I said nodding as we entered the cave
Maximiliano: When we entered the cave and made sure we were alone I said to him, "It seems that if it worked, I haven't seen the pack so happy and calm in months"
Mia: "It's natural, they know that the legacy of the pack has another chance" I said nodding
Maximiliano: "It is true, although that will not last forever and more so with Victor bothering from the shadows" I said
Mia: "I know, but don't worry, everything is going according to plan, in a matter of months we can get rid of Victor" I said
Maximiliano: "I hope so," I said seriously, "In any case, we must make sure we continue to have the support of the pack," I said
Mia: "What else are we going to do?" I asked curiously
Maximiliano: "We need a new heir so that the pack is completely calm on the subject" I explained
Mia: "WHAT?" I asked surprised. I didn't want to have to do that with someone I barely knew. I wanted to save that for when I had a partner, but before I could protest, I felt like I was losing control of my body. Please Samantha, I don't want to have to live this. I begged in my mind. Fortunately, there was another time jump to a couple of days in the future. Now I was in front of a cave at the edge of the territory. "Thank goodness," I said to myself as I sighed in relief
"Come in," said a voice from inside the cave
Mia: I just nodded and entered the cave, to my surprise Victor was inside
Victor: "I didn't think it was possible, but you really did it," I said, impressed
Mia: At that moment I lost control of my body and could only hear their conversation, "Did you doubt me?"
Victor: "It was hard to believe that you would actually achieve that," I admitted
Mia: "Never doubt my abilities" I said playfully as I approached and kissed him, "What the hell is he doing?" I asked myself in my mind very surprised and somewhat horrified
Victor: When we separated, I said, "Now we can eliminate Maximilian and taking control of the pack will be very easy"
Mia: "We will get the pack we have always dreamed of" I said smiling
Victor: "Excellent, we will soon be able to make the final change" I said smiling
Mia: "I can't wait" I said nodding
Again, there was a time jump to a couple of weeks in the future
Mia: "Now what?" I asked myself as I looked around, everything was chaos, fighting everywhere, but it was between the members of the pack, I quickly ran to the cave of the alpha leader and when I entered, I could see how Maximiliano and Victor were fighting fiercely
Maximilian: "It was about time you showed up, help me finish off this damn traitor" I said seriously
Victor: "Help me and we will start the pack we always dreamed of" I said as we both struggled to subdue each other
Mia: At that moment I lost control of my body again, I smiled and I said, "of course I will help you", I approached them and as they mutually submitted, I took the opportunity to cut both their necks
Maximiliano: "Why?" I asked him while I was choking on my own blood
Victor: "Damn traitor" I shouted angrily with my last strength
Mia: "The males are so stupid, you have only been pawns to achieve my goals" I said coldly while I saw how little by little the forces left their bodies, once both died I left the cave and let out a loud howl calling the attention of all the wolves of the pack that stopped their fight and turned to look at her, "Maximiliano and Victor killed each other, we must stop this madness now, we will only end our precious pack" I shouted to everyone, acting as if I had great regret and sadness
All the wolves were shocked to hear that their respective leaders had died
Mia: "Let's leave this fight aside, I will take the best ideals of each one and perpetuate them, I will continue with Maximilian's legacy, but I will make changes to the pack so that it is stronger and more stable as Victor wanted" I said
Several wolves hesitated for a moment, but after thinking about it, it was the best path. Those who followed Maximilian knew that she was his partner, so she was the best option to take the lead, while those who followed Victor knew that she was one of his main followers and his personal advisor, so in the end they all bowed to her
Mia: I smiled as I watched the scene, I had finally achieved my goal, "Things are going to change a lot" I told myself, but the real Mia was horrified by everything she witnessed, she played with the destiny and stability of an entire pack just for her ambitions, at that moment there was another time skip, "Is there still more?" I asked myself tiredly and on the verge of despair
Several hours later in the White Fang pack
Derrens: I was looking for Scoot, I had some things I wanted to ask him, when suddenly I could see Driana walking in the distance, "What is she doing here?" I asked myself and discreetly started to follow her, after all I am responsible for her and I must make sure that she does not do anything that could harm the pack, although personally I doubted it
Driana: I looked around and couldn't see anyone who seemed to follow me or care about what I was doing, "I must keep this low profile" I said to myself as I continued walking
