This story seems to have a problem. I keep getting 'story not found.' So I'm reposting it. Originally titled Invasion, this sci-fi story is now a sequel to If I Should Fall. When Danny vanishes into thin air during a ski trip to Colorado, Steve is on the next flight out to find his friend and bring him home, triggering a chain of events that no one could have predicted.

Natasha Jones, a detective from New Jersey heads to Hawaii needing some time off. While there she reunites with an old friend and temporary joins the Five-0 Task force. She catches the eye of one Steve McGarrett who has just gotten out of a relationship. What happens when someone from Natasha's past comes back for revenge?

Danny finally realized what his best friend needed was the one person he tried to make him forget. He knew deep down that those two loved one another. Once he put his anger aside, it was time for him to find out if there was more to her leaving than just for a job. He owes it to his brother and wants the old Steve back.
