Bankai777, I'm not yet sure if I will have Naruto be friends with Mei. Don't get me wrong I love Mei (she fine asf) at least she was until Boruto lmao but will have to wait until the story progresses and see from there.
atengawchok, I do like both those pairings ngl but I'm not sure if I'll fit any romance within the story as I'm bloody terrible at writing them
darkwolfz, Firstly that is one cool ass name, I'm glad you enjoy the story, I originally planned to release at least one new chapter at least once a day but things have been a bit hectic lately so no promises i will however do my best to update the story as much as possible.
Samuel Santillan, that is also a pretty cool name and those are some good suggestions there, i will certainly do my best to have him learn kenjutsu but will have to see how that pans out the sage mode training also sounds good. as for the harem some good suggestions but as mentioned above I'm not sure if I will have any pairings in this story because I'm bloody terrible at writing them, but if I do, Naruto will be paired with only one person two at the max
Now onto the story.
Naruto sat in his office staring at the four people he had summoned, he smiled at each of them. "First things first Konohamaru for your bravery during Peins invasion and for defeating one of them the council and I have decided to promote you to Chunin, congratulations." The young Sarutobi looked at the Hokage with a big grin as he grabbed his Chunin vest
"Thank you, Boss." He said tears in his eyes as he put it on. Naruto smiled at him as he turned to Shikamaru "As for you Shika, the we have decided to Promote you to Jonin." Shikamaru groaned at the thought "How troublesome, even more duties, thanks Naruto." The blonde barked out a laugh at his friends reaction before turning to the other two in the room "Kakashi, Neji, it isn't public news yet but the Raikage has called for a Five Kage Summit which I will be leaving for in a few days, I am permitted to have two Bodyguards with me and I would like the both of you to fullfill that role." Both Jonin have each other a look before nodding and Kakashi stepped forward.
"We shall do out best Hokage-sama." Kakashi said with his trademark eye smile. He looked at Naruto for a second. "How are you holding up Naruto, I noticed that Sasuke was placed within the Bingo book."
Naruto gave a small sigh, while news of the Kage summit hadn't spread, the news about Sasuke's inclusion to the bingo book certainly had, and the young Hokage knew he could expect an angry visit from Sakura within the immediate future.
No sooner had that thought crossed mind did the door bang open Sakura storming inside with Shizune right behind her. "I'm sorry Naruto, she wouldn't take no for an answer." The blonde boy waved her off. "It's okay Shizune, please check up on Tsunade Baa-Chan." Shizune gave a nod and left as Sakura walked up to him tears in her eyes.
"Why Naruto." She choked out, as she slammed a book down on his desk, Naruto glanced down at it reading the page left open.

Naruto gave another sigh as he looked up at his former teammate. "I'm sorry Sakura but he gave me no choice in the matter." Sakura raged at him. "HE'S OUR FRIEND, NARUTO. WE'RE MEANT TO BRING HIM BACK AND NOW, WELL NOW HE WON'T."
Naruto stood up his Chakra flaring wildly. "You think I don't know that, you think I wanted to do this, I didn't, but I'm the Hokage, Sakura I have to do what's best for the village. personal feelings aside."
"But why, he hasn't done anything to Konoha, yes he defected but his never attacked the village so why add him." She snapped.
Naruto looked her in the eye. "I am aware of that, and the fact he has never attacked Konoha after defecting was his one saving grace." Naruto took a breath before he continued. "However while he may not of attacked the village, he has since done something that could affect it. Joining the Akatsuki, Infiltrating Kumo and Kidnapping the Eight Tails Jinchuriki, who also it just so happens to be is the Raikage's brother."
Sakura shook her head vehemently "Sasuke would never." But Naruto cut her off. "Well he did, I didn't want to believe it either but these are the facts Sakura, I added him to the bingo book, to appease Kumo, otherwise there very well could have been a war. One we are not ready to fight. The village is still recuperating from Peins attack, yes everyone who died was brought back, but even still the village suffered. We aren't ready to fight a war against Kumo over something Sasuke has done. So I'm sorry, but adding him to the Bingo book was something that I had to do. Besides knowing Sasuke as i do he won't go down easily and there is a high chance that our forces will be the ones that capture him." Sakura wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded. "I...I understand."
Naruto looked at her sadly, he knew just how much it pained her to know Sasuke was capable of something like this, it didn't sit right with either of them he just hoped that some day soon the idiot would come to his senses and return to the Village. As the others left the office, Naruto got started on the letters requesting aid with the rebuild.

Gaara sat within his own office, completely the tedious task of paperwork when a Chunin arrived with a letter for him taking the letter and dismissing the ninja he unsealed it and read the contents of the letter.
To the Kazekage
I hope this missive finds you well Gaara, I don't know if you have been informed, but a few days ago the Village was attacked and destroyed by Pein, Leader of the Akatsuki, I engaged him in battle myself and after a long and rather exhausting fight I managed to defeat him.
The village is now undergoing the process of reconstruction, and I was hoping that you might be able to spare some resources to help speed up this process, please let me know if this is possible at your earliest convenience. In the meantime I look forward to seeing you soon at the Five Kage Summit.

Gaara had to read the the letter twice eyes widened. He turned to Temari, "Take stock of what we have for construction, and see if any can be spared to send to Konoha to help with its rebuild." Temari looked confused but nodded before heading out as Gaara turned and looked out over his village, a ghost of smile gracing his face. "So you've finally become Hokage, Naruto. Congratulations my friend and I will see you soon."

Meanwhile we find our Hero, at the training grounds looking out over the 500 clones he had training to master the techniques he had found. He was just about to jump in and help when 100 of them vanished. Naruto paused as he took in the information he had learned a grin adorning his face. The knowledge of how to use the Flying Thunder God was now his.
Hopefully soon he could couple that with being able to form the Rasengan with one hand and no clones, and then from there it's mastered version that he himself had created.
Quickly flipping through the hand seals he placed a hand on the ground "sealing formula:flying thunder god, an orange marker appeared on the floor of the training grounds and Naruto grinned forming another seal a single clone appeared beside him. Without looking at his copy he spoke excitedly.
"Head to the office and place another marker within it. And then do the same at the entrance before teleporting back here." The clone nodded before disappearing in a swirl of leaves.
"I'm going to have to place an order for the same Kunai my father used. I'm going to be near untouchable with this." Grinning to himself he sat down and waited for the clone to reappear. He didn't have to wait long. The clone was smart and had created another clone to go to the entrance of the village and place a marker there and then disperse no sooner had the memories of the clone at the entrance gone through his mind that the clone he had made appeared before him in a flash of orange. Both Naruto's grinned at each other before the clone dispersed itself.
The effects were immediate as all 400 remaining clones stopped what they were doing and yelled in excitement of the successful recreation of one of his fathers most useful techniques.
Naruto laughed softly to himself before he stood up and vanished in a flicker of light, reappearing in his office and scaring the shit out of Kakashi who walked in right as he appeared. Kakashi paused in shock lone eye widening in surprise.
Naruto grinned at his former teacher. "Yes Kakashi-sensei, I or rather my clones have managed to recreate the Flying Thunder God." The silver haired Jonin, just shook his head in disbelief pride shining behind his one visible eye. "Unbelievable Naruto, Your father would be proud."
Now it was Naruto's turn to look shocked. "Wait you knew my father was the Fourth." Kakashi rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah he was my Sensei after all." Naruto shook his head in disbelief. "Shouldn't surprise me after all you do know the Rasengan, anyway we will be leaving for the Land Of Iron soon, so if you could grab Neji on the way to the gate I'll be there soon." Kakashi nodded and walked outside.
Before Naruto left he formed two clones one clone was to run down to place the order of Kunai and left it instructions to form another clone upon receiving them and then disperse itself so that he knew to place down a marker so the other clone could then teleport to him with the Kunai. And another to find Shikaku Nara and inform him that he was in charge while Naruto was at the summit.
Once that was done he grabbed his reverse summoning scroll, placing it on his back he gave the office another glance over before he teleported down to the entrance to wait for Kakashi and Neji.

Konoha, Root Headquarters
Danzo stood before the best of his Root soldiers. "Today Naruto Uzumaki will be leaving for the Five Kage Summit, we will be leaving for it not long after, our mission will be to Attack the summit, however we will not be the only ones, members of the Akatsuki including Sasuke Uchiha will also be there, so our mission will be to arrive and Kill Uzumaki first, so I may take the title that belongs to me, make no mistake within the next few days I will be the Hokage."

You are Late, Kankuro." Said Gaara in slight annoyance at his brothers tardiness. Kankuro chuckled nervously. "Sorry about that Gaara, I was working on a new trick with the puppets." Gaara just shook his head. As the villagers called out to them.
"Travel safe Lord Kazekage." "Temari, Kankuro, you better protect him out there." Temari snorted. "Not like he needs it." Gaara let a ghost of smirk flit across his face. "Come, it is time to leave." The other two nodded as they left for the Summit.

The Third Tsuchikage merely hurrumped as his villagers wished them luck and asked his two guards to make sure he would stay safe.
"Going to long distance meetings at my age is a bloody pain." His granddaughter and bodyguard grinned down at him, "Why don't you just retire then and give me the hat old man."
Ohnoki glared at her, "I may be old girl, but there's still enough life left in these bones to remain the Tsuchikage for a little longer. Now let's hurry up and get going as he grabbed his bags took one step and howled as a loud crack sounded throughout the area "My Back." He groaned.

"Take care of yourself now." Said the elderly man as he passed over the Mizukage hat, to Mei Turumi who had become their villages leader.
" I shall, and I swear on my title of Mizukage, I will fulfil my duty." The elder man turned to the others
"Take care of her Chojuro, Ao."
We...we will be fine, I think." Chojuro muttered nervously. His fellow guard looked at him in disappointment. "Come now Chojuro, we are the bodyguards of the Mizukage, and you are a member of the Seven Swordsman. Show some damned backbone."
Mei smiled down at the nervous swordsman. "I believe in you Chojuro, with you guarding me I'm sure we will be safe." The young man blushed slightly "She's so nice." He thought to himself.
"Kids these days I swear." Ao grumbled, "Be a man and just say Yes Ma'am. No one needs to hear your mumbling."
Mei's expression darkened. "Man...need a man." The Mizukage turned to Ao a crazed glint in her eye. "Shut up or I will kill you." She whispered into his ear, causing him to shiver in fear before she turned around.
"Come, Ao, Chojuro, it's time to leave."

"Alright, everything is ready. Now let's do this, Cee, Darui." The Raikage exclaimed, as he launched out the window of his office.
Cee and Darui both sweat dropped. "Ah shit here we go again." Darui muttered in exasperation.
"So it would seem." His partner agreed as they left the office the normal way."

Office of the Hokage, Konoha
It had been days since, Naruto, Kakashi and Neji left for the summit and left Shikaku in charge of the village. He had no wish to do this but seeing as no one other then perhaps Kakashi or his son was capable of doing this, with one having left with Naruto on the trip and the other being just as if not more lazy then himself. It left him with no choice but to take on the title of Interim Hokage.
Today was like any other day. With the Nara clan head going through the mountain of paperwork for the Hokage. He couldn't help but sigh at all of it, how Naruto and the Previous Hokage managed to deal with this on a daily basis absolutely escaped him."
As the hours passed his boredom grew astronomically until it reached the boiling point. With nothing better to do he reached into the cupboard and pulled out a glass and the sake, he needed a drink.
Before he could even pour the drink however, a pale skinned young man walked inside.
"Sai isn't it?" The young man before him nodded his head as he appeared to struggle with saying what he wanted to say. before he looked up at him. "Shikaku-san, I need to inform you of something."
The elder Nara clasped his hands together as he gestured for the boy to continue. Sai visibly gulped as he continued on.
"I unfortunately cannot give any specifics, but all I can say is that, Naruto is in danger." Shikaku stared intensely at the ninja before him.
"What do you mean you can't give me specifics. If Naruto is in danger it is prudent you tell me everything you know." Sai merely shook his head.
"There are things in place that don't allow me to divulge that information. What I can say is that while I cannot say who one person is, I can let you know that Sasuke Uchiha will also be there to attack the meeting."
The Interim-Hokage rubbed his chin in thought "hmm, if remember correctly, this boy is a member of Root, and therefore falls under Danzo's command. So logically if the boy is unable to tell me the name of one of the people posing a danger to the Hokage, then it stands to reason that person would be Danzo himself, and if that's the case there is only one reason Danzo would pull this stunt."
"Tell me Sai, is Danzo currently within the village." When he shook his head in the negative that confirmed Shikaku's fears. he put his theory forward hoping to glean if he was correct from the boys response.
"So Danzo is plotting to attack the summit and either capture or kill Naruto. Thats treason of the highest order."
Sai's eyes widened in surprise at how quick the Older man had managed to make a correct guess. But could otherwise not say anything to confirm or deny that theory. it was however enough for Shikaku
"Very well, you've done well to inform me of this Sai. As it happens i believe there is still a Clone of Naruto's within the village." Calling down one of the Anbu he ordered them to go inform the clone hopefully before it had completed its task and dispersed."

The Anbu known as hound rushed towards the weapons shop hoping to catch the clone before it disappeared he arrived however a second to late as the clone vanished in a flash of orange light." Hound grit his teeth as he turned back to inform the elder Nara that he hadnt managed his task.

Unknown Location, outside Land Of Iron border
Naruto and the others were quickly approching the border to the land of iron when he gained his clones memories of getting the kunai. grinning slightly he stopped.
Neji glanced at him in confusion "Naruto what's going on." Naruto just smirked at him and summoned a clone before flashing through some hand seals "Sealing formula: Flying Thunder God Array." Slamming his hand to the ground a seal formed on the ground. The clone next to him dispersed and a second later another clone appeared before them in a flash of orange.
Neji jerked back in surprise at the sudden appearence of the clone as it handed over the package. "Here you go boss, more are being created as we speak but these should do for now." Said the clone, Naruto nodded his thanks as the clone dispersed itself.
"Wasn't that the Fourth Hokages technique." Neji qestioned in disbelief of what he had seen Naruto smirked at the Hyuga. "Indeed it was, and now it is mine."
Neji could do nothing but nod his head absolutely shocked that Naruto had managed to recreate it. still reeling from the knowlege Naruto grinned widely.
"Alright let's continue at this rate we should arrive tomorrow." And with that the Konoha entourage continued on their way to the five kage summit.
Authors Note
Sorry for the lack of any battles I know y'all would be craving some fight scenes, I know I would be lmao, and there should hopefully be some within the next chapter or so as the next chapter will include the start of the summit and therefore the Battle between the Kage and Sasuke will take place, I'm certainly excited to get started on writing those fights and I hope I do the fight scenes justice.
I appreciate everyone's patience in waiting for the new chapter and as stated at the start, I hope to release new chapters as soon as possible if all goes well another may be released tomorrow.
