Hi there, I returned with a new chapter of this series. I know a lot of people like this series and I am down to continuing more and more. Saitama and the Justice League is a hilarious Mashup that needs to happen even more. Hope you all enjoy this one.
Once the words We don't get pay came out Saitama was already not sure if he had the right choice. He thoguht these guys were all high tech and super well paid, while he never wanted to be a hero for money he need it because the rent got raised.
Superman noticed that weird reaction from the bald hero face so he wanted to know what was going on.
"What is it Saitama?'' Asked Superman.
"So none of you get paid?'' Asked Saitama.
"No, we operate completely differently from the Hero Association.'' Said Superman.
"So how are you all paying bills?'' Asked Saitama
"We all have life's outside of hero work, just like the ones in Japan but we have secret identities.'' Said Superman.
"And that's easy than just doing hero job and getting a regular salary?'' Asked Saitama.
"We prefer working this way since it doesn't give us any sort of celebrity status.'' Said Superman.
'So no payment.'' Said Saitama.
"No.' Said Superman.
The bald hero felt a little bit awkward and had his answer to the entire.
"Oh, I guess its not going to work.'' Said Saitama making the league a bit worried. Leaving this guy on the loose might be very bad in the future.
"Wait! We can give you an exception!'' Said Green Arrow.
"I mean I don't want to be that guy in the whole group who ask for money. Sorry, I need to pay bills and they raised the rent.'' Said Saitama.
"I am sorry Saitama, but we don't operate like this in the Justice League.'' Said Superman.
"Oh its ok, besides it might be a hassle have to take a teleporter every day.'' Said Saitama.
"Well he kind has a point. I hate taking that thing every week.' Said Black Lighting.
"I don't have this sport of trouble.'' Said Jon Stewart.
"Of course, you can fly in space. Big advantage.' Said Black Lightning.
"But maybe we can help you out. We had a lot of people who were in financial difficulties and figure things out. Don't give up that easily.'' Said Black Canary.
Saitama just thought for a second and continue talking.
"I don't know I guess I should enlist on the Hero Association.'' Said Satiama.
Most of the league just look at that in shock, Batman in specifically wasn't fan of it.
"You can't do that the Hero Association is not trustworthy.'' Said Batman.
"Really? But they seem so legit.'' Said Saitama.
"if master is going to signed up then I will do it to.'' Said Genos.
"This isn't a good idea, while some of the heroes of the Association are legit good people we are still not sure what happens behind the curtains.'' Said Superman.
"I am pretty sure that me and Master can handle this Superman. Thank you for your concern but we aren't easily manipulated people.'' Said Genos all cold.
"Hey Genos don't be so rude.'' Said Saitama.
"Sorry master, but I think joining with the Hero Association might be for our own good. We will have more free range and more options in what to do deal with the monsters and villains in Japan.'' Said Genos.
"Really! That's great to hear.'' Said Saitama already liking it.
"No! You can't do that!' Said Batman already not liking.
The caped crusader went really close to Saitama and Genos, the cyborg not liking this was already protecting his master.
"You can't join them. We have intel that the Hero Association is connected with mysterious organizations and unknow power players. A big reason is one of their top hero Metal Knight have not been seen in public for at least 5 years and he has the information of everyone that works there, even the small staff.'' Said Batman.
"Batman, I know where are you going and I am not letting you use them as spies.'' Said Superman.
"Its for our safety. Metal Knight has half of our identities in his files, we need to get that thing destroy.'' Said Batman.
"I am not joining the association just to be your pawn Batman. I am joining because that's what Master said would be for the better.'' Said Genos.
"I am fine joining mostly because it's close to home.'' Said Saitama.
Batman wasn't liking any of that he felt that he need those two to joining the league, they had a big roaster and he could try to ignore the payment situation but he couldn't let the Hero Association get their hands on someone like Saitama.
"We can discuss a good payment if you joined us.'' Said Batman.
"Uh what?'' Asked Wonder Woman now shocked that Batman was saying something like that.
"I need yen, besides I like my area already. Sorry, I am kind like that.'' Said Saitama.
"Batman you are not helping.' Said Superman.
"We can't let him join them. Could you imagine what they might do to us?'' Asked Batman in whispers.
"That's it!'' Said Genos now pissed.
The entire league was in shock to hear Genos screaming out loud. The cyborg looked at Batman with a frown and lay down his reason.
"I have a whole list of times you betrayed your colleagues and close allies just to keep secrets to yourself. If Master and I join you will just try to do it towards us.'' Said Genos.
"He is not doing these things anymore. I hope.'' Said Flash worried.
"Are you really willing to join the Hero Association. Do you know what kind of people they are?'' Asked Batman.
"While they are not perfect, they are the center of protection for all of Japan, if a big catastrophe like Brainiac, Zod or your version that laughs attack us we will be there to help out, not as league but as allies. Which I am still not sure if want to be allied with someone who my sensors are indicating hacks the Wi-Fi of this satellite and has access of all its member internet history, I am sorry Batman but this wont happen. Master, do you still want to join the Hero Association?'' Asked Genos.
The bald hero just looked at that situation like awkward, he felt like he just messed up something and he wanted to leave as quick as he could.
"Yeah, I feel after this we are going to get a good work environment. We better leave Genos.' Said Saitama.
"Right Master.'' Said Genos.
"So are you doing this?'' Asked Superman.
"Yeah, sorry for recusing the offer but I feel it wont work. I feel our way of heroism are different.'' Said Saitama a bit nervous.
"Understood, I wish you good luck in your hero career Saitama.'' Said Superman.
"Thanks, lets go Genos.'' Said Saitama.
"Sure Master. By the way, here are the cameras you forgot on his apartment.'' Said Genos all dark as he hands Batman a pile oef mini cameras and Microphones in which he was going to use to spy on Saitama.
The dark Knight just look at those destroy equipment in annoyance.
"Next time be more careful where you place those things.'' Said Genos all dark.
"So to return I just go to a teleport thing again?'' Asked Saitama.
"Yes, just go and put the last place where you.'' Said Superman.
"Ok, see you guys.'' Said Saitama as he and Genos left the Justice League satellite.
The league was quiet for a whole minute, they let Saitama someone who had unlimited strength just go and not stay around. While he wasn't causing chaos the idea of letting someone that powerful free was kind of scary. Green Arrow was the one to break the silence.
"You had to put pressure on him! Thanks Bruce!' Scream him.
"Have you seen his power! If he is not Kryptonian I don't know what he is.'' Said Batman.
"Ok, he wasn't the smartest hero we ever seen. He is more dubious than Booster believe or not, but he didn't seem to be evil.'' Said Aquaman.
"He destroyed a monster with Doomsday DNA with one punch. That information alone is beyond terryfing.'' Said Batman.
"What do you want us to do? He doesn't want to join the league and wants to do his own thing. By Hera, I would just let him do it.'' Said Wonder Woman.
"We will keep tabs on him.'' Said Batman.
"Are you serious?'' Asked Hal in shock.
"I AM!'' Said Batman in pure anger.
The entire league looked surprised to see Batman screaming at top of his longue, he was always quiet and brooding when he was talking so hearing that was kind of a surprise.
"Bruce you are scaring me.'' Said Superman calming his best feind.
"Clark, I don't what he is. I don't…I don't feel save until we have an answer, plus he is easily manipulated.'' Said Batman.
"He might be a bit dense but he has a good heart." Said Superman.
"Yes, but that would still lead to manipulation or mind control and we know how difficult those things are to deal with.'' Said Batman.
"Are you telling us to spy on him all the time?'' Asked Wonder Woman.
"No, but we should let a team go to Japan and keep a close eye on him. We don't know what the Hero Association might do once they see his powers.'' Said Batman.
"Its fair, they might put him on top of S Class probably above Tatsumaki but I guess he is not taking the number one spot. Seriously, who is Blast?'' Asked Flash.
While Batman was thinking about a millions plans on how to keep tabs on Saitama someone asked for the caped crusader attention. It was Plastic Man who had a look of nervous.
"Hey Bats, you don't look at our…internet history.'' Said Plastic Man.
Some of the league members had a look of nervousness as they either look at Batman with anger or annoyance.
"You all have 3 minutes before the system catch up.'' Said Batman.
"Oh, please Bruce, they are not that desperate too….'' Said Superman but then a lot of the league members pulled out their phones.
Superman was surprised to see so many of his friends looking desperate to delete their internet search history as quickly as they could.
"Uh?'' Asked Superman confused.
"Delete delete delete.'' Said Green Arrow.
"Get this out of here!'' Said Black Canary.
"Deleting history and done!'' Said Plastic Man all calm.
"Ok, I am saved.'' Said Zatanna all calm.
The man of steel just blinked in surprised upon seeing all of that.
"Is this real?'' Asked Superman.
"Hey, we all have our little secrets Clark! I bet even your parents have it!'' Said Hal.
Batman didn't mind all that drama he just started making calls and contacting Oracle ASPA.
A few days later
Batman had successfully informed every hero that the League has connection too about Saitama. He went almost to every Hero team possible from the Creature Commandos to the Justice Society.
Superman felt a little bit worried about it, he knew Saitama wasn't a bad person, but he was still a powerful being walking on Earth.
"Are you sure about this?''' Asked Superman.
"I feel there is no turning back.''' Said Wonder Woman.
"I know, but we could scale down a bit or…'' Said Superman but Wonder Woman cuts him off.
"Clark, he is kind of dangerous.'' Said Wonder Woman.
"I know, I felt some shivers which is still pretty rare to happen. I just hope Batman doesn't over do it.'' Said Superman a bit anxious.
As the man of Steel saw all of that he heard someone calling for him.
"Superman!'' Said someone on Earth which was Saitama.
The man of steel was surprised to hear Saitama voice again so soon, he thought he would be quiet but Clark didn't expect this all of the sudden.
"What is it?'' Asked Wonder Woman.
"I need to go.'' Said Superman leaving.
The man of steel left the satellite as fast as he could and went down to Japan. Just him and Saitama having a normal talk would be good enough.
Near Saitama area.
Superman looked around hoping to find the bald hero and soon he heard him again.
"I am here!'' Said Saitama with something on his hand.
Superman went down and levitate still a bit above the bald hero.
"Saitama.'' Said Superman.
"Hi, listen I am sorry for the bad talk we had at your place. It was bad of my part.'' Said Saitama.
"Its ok, but are you thinking of joining the league?'' Asked Superman.
"No, I am happy just working here in Japan. I prefer work from home.'' Said Saitama all calm.
The man of steel just had a small laugh at that, Saitama was honest and he was glad for that.
"Sure, but we will be in touch from time to time.'' Said Superman.
"Great, oh by the way take this as an apology gift.'' Said Saitama handing Superman something.
It was a Mellon and Superman didn't know why.
"A Mellon?'' Asked him.
"It was cheap today and I felt bad so I want you to have it.''' Said Saitama.
"Well, it's a generous gift, I am sure it looks delicious.'' Said Superman.
"Well see you around.'' Said Saitama all calm waving goodbye to the man of steel.
The hero just nod and went back to the watch tower now carrying the mellow that he got as a gift.
"Saitama is a genuinely good person, he just need the proper guidance. I need to talk with Bruce and Diana about this and they will understand better.'' Thought Superman.
As Superman kept flying he heard a big explosion happening down.
Boom
He turned to see Saitama above a completed destroyed monster with tentacles, the cape baldy just smile as he talked back to Superman.
"It's ok! He attacked me first!'' Said Saitama.
"By Rao.'' Said Superman face palming, he felt that this would be a very long journey for the league and the world to adapt into.
So yes, it wasn't the best chapter written but I felt this was a fun one. Saitama didn't wanted join the league first because of payment, but then because he felt he caused a bad impression around them. He could have joined but he likes to work closely from home.
I hope you all liked it even with the errors and bad grammar. This is a hobby, and I hope you all enjoyed.
We will be entering the Sonic arc soon and lets see which hero team gets sent first to look after Saitama and how the DC universe will adapt now knowing that they have someone his powerful around them. It's going to be a ton of fun to write and let's see what you all think about it.
