"The Zievian Federation needs additional Uranium Mines, Enrichment Plants, and a New Nuclear Power Plant, to make sure we'll be able to be less reliant on Oil or Coal. While Wind and Solar are good alternatives, they're not efficient. Hence why we're here."

And then she moves to a nearby fortress city, Stronard.

"If you folks don't remember this Fortress City, then it was one of the Cities that we have reclaimed since Operation Strategic Freedom. Many of the 1st Generations of the SRD have fought and died by the Zealots' Hands (The Order) or kidnapped by the Hedonists (Demon Realms) just to restore all of our lost territories. And Kevin here is a Hero in that event."

All of the Second and Third Generations looked to Kevin, who was just listening to the briefing with his back to the wall, remaining emotionless.

"So, he's going to be your Commander in this Mission. So, here's your Objectives."

- Protect the Engineer Corps, as they provide concrete pavements, walls, and concrete watchtowers. Along with other Active Defense Installations to enhance security.

- 2nd and 3rd Demon Realm's Company of the Royal Makai's 5th Division have been spotted. Consisting of Orcs, High Orcs, and Beastmens. Close Quarters Combat is to be expected as usual, as Mamonos will often engage at close quarters.

- Confirmed Harpies, Wurms, and Sandworms within their 3rd and 4th Company. Stay on hard surfaces and within Anti Harpies Nettings. If you can't, stay on the move and change directions at random.

- 2nd Mechanized Company will join in. Along with the 10th National Militia Company from multiple neighboring villages.

"Any Questions?"

"At what time, Ma'am General?" Kevin asked.

"0500."

Operation Nuclear Renaissance, SRD's Barracks, 04:15 AM, Zukland, 7th District.

"Reveille! Reveille! Reveille!" Kevin as he entered the Sleeping Quarters for the Operatives. While banging his empty trash bin with a Baton.

And they immediately got up, as they heard their 1st waking them up like Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

"Drop your girls and grab your gear! I don't care if it's Sunday, we got an important operation today! And those Nuclear Plants need those resources!"

The Operatives then went to the showers and then went to the Cafeteria, for their Breakfast and a Cup of Coffee.

Kevin and the Officers already cleaned themselves and have breakfast, before waking up the Operatives. And a Second Cup of the most delicate dark roast won't hurt.

At 04:45. They arrived at the Chinook sites, along with their gear. With Additional Ammunition Crates and types of equipment.

With that, Kevin briefed his Operatives, men and women of the SRD.

"Alright, I'll make this quick. Our new Uranium Mine is next to the border of the Mamono Realm, and our job is to provide defense for our miners and their PMCs. Plus, the 2nd Mechanized Company and the 10th National Militia Company will be joining us! Our job is to protect our Largest Uranium Deposit from those hedonists until it's well-fortified by the Combet Engineers, got it!?"

"Jahowl! (Yes sir!)" Both the men and women of the SRD yelled out.

Kevin give a last look and then said...

"Sehr gut. (Very Good.)"

The Concordia's Uranium Mine, 05:30...

As multiple Chinooks and Gunfire from Ziev's 2nd Company, 1st SRD's Elite Platoon, and the 10th National Militia are facing off against the 5th Mamono Division.

The Initial Assault against the 76th Zievian Joint Forces by the Demon Realm's 5th Division has failed terribly.

"Keep firing! Those Hedonists will not last against our combined forces!" 2nd Mechanized Company's Lieutenant told his men, as they pushed them back.

The battle was now in favor of the Zievian Forces, as their more Modernized and Improved Training have worked.

Both the Zievian Army and National Militia's Officers weren't fighting with their troops but had sent their Lieutenants to fight. Even the SRD. This means, even taking out their Captain, will just dent the cohesion of the Zievian Joint Forces.

While the Mamono Forces... Their Captains and their Seconds were headshots by Kevin himself in a Chinook in the air. The Golden Marksman of the SRD. Caused a complete collapse of command on the 1st Mamono Company of the 5th Royal Makai's Divison, full of Demons, Devils, Dark Angels, and Dark Valkyries, were slaughtered by the insane firepower of the 76th Zievian Joint Forces' MG 3 and Assault Rifles.

After all, if they Advanced and Modernized their military forces. They'll have a foot up against their enemies.

Phase C, already perhaps?

Nope, it's just Humvees and APCs, Militias, Infantry, and SpecOps, against the majority of the 5th Riyal Makai Division.

With the retreating, the Chinooks landed, and the SRD Operatives chased after them.

"Don't let those Hedonists escape easily! Leave no survivors!" Kevin ordered his team.

"Yes sir!" His Squad replied.

Despite the Wurms and Sandwurms being able to grab a few of the SRD Operatives, they were quickly knifed, or shot by the other Operatives. Even the Harpies weren't so lucky, as they are shot down like flies.

As they got closer to their camp... And walking towards it...

*RATATATATATA!!!*

A few SRD Soldiers were shot down.

"Enemy Incubuses!!!" A Second SRD Lieutenant, Hartwig yelled. Before getting injured, tried to take cover.

"Find Cover!!!" Kevin ordered all of them, to take cover. And both sides have engaged in a firefight. All the Zievian SRD Operatives quickly went to the prone position.

"Haha! How's that for you maiden bastards!?" One of the Incubus mocked.

"This is for our wives, that you've killed, you fucking killers!!!"

"They got what's coming, Hedonists! And I bet you cock suckers are Pedophiles!" A Third SRD Lieutenant barked back.

"That explains the Devils!" One of the SRD Operative Added, already making the Demon Realm's Forces painted, much darker than before.

Kevin crawled to the 1st MG Team, as they were suppressing the Demon Realm's MG Team. There includes a Rocket Soldier, armed with a Panzerfaust 3, and another is an Ammo Carrier.

"Lucian, Suppress their MG! Annabelle, coordinate with the others and fire at that Wooden Bunker, full of Automation and 2nd Incubus MG Team up the hill! And Jake, keep feeding Lucian's MG!"

"Yes sir!" The Trio replied, and immediately carry out Kevin's order.

Lucian fired at the 1st Incubus MG Team with his MG3, and the roar of the MG3 mowed down a Gunner, but their Ammo Bearer managed to escape.

Annabelle advanced with her team, as Kevin and a few SRD Operatives cover fire for her and her team. The Attack was successful and the wooden bunker to blown to pieces. After one of her teammates, tossed a Satchel Charge into the Bunker, after the Rocket over penetrated.

Thanks to Kevin's order to carry additional ammo. Jake was able to keep the MG3 continue firing. And the suppression was still going. Led Annabelle and her team, to finish off the MG Nest.

"Enemy Machine Guns are down!" An SRD Scout reported.

"Good! Advance and destroy their base! Victory will be ours!" Kevin yelled to the rest of his forces.

More Incubus arrived to stop the SRD from destroying their base, and their plans to Monsterize the Federation of Ziev.

But it was no use, they're now getting pushed back, inch by inch... As the SRD is keeping up the pressure of the Assault... Even more Automatons and Gremlin Turrets were quickly disposed of by the Operatives either by their Panzerfaust 3's, Grenade Launchers, or Satchel Charges.

"More Incubuses!" A Second SRD MG Gunner or Otto Degen alerted the rest. And immediately they all went to prone and fired at will against the Demon Realm Forces.

Another Demon Company ended up in their Afterlife... Kevin ordered a slow advance, as they have taken down one of the camps. And are getting closer to the main base of the Demon Realm's 5th Division.

Meanwhile...

A couple of the Order's Spies we're watching the battle between the 5th Demon Realm's Division and the 1st Zievian's SRD Platoon.

"Heh, would you look at that?" He snickered without remorse for the two sides but was interested. "The Heathens (Mamono) and those Heretics (Zievians) are fighting each other, I pity those two bastards."

"Shh! Quiet!" The Priestess, who's also concealed silenced her Inquisitor Friend. "Didn't they have been beating the Mamonos like nothing? Their Senior Lieutenant (Kevin) seems quite experienced."

"Pft. Him? That Faithless Heretic? Oh please. He'll be dead, the moment he gets into any of the Order's Territory." The Male Inquisitor replied.

"What about... Their... Operation Restoring-"

"... N-Nothing happened! Those Rebels and the Heretic's Men just got lucky! Yeah! Lucky!" The Young Inquisitor interrupts... Not admitting defeat...

"... Right..." The Stealthy Priestess replied...

'He punished you severely, like disciplining a child, after defeating you... You're just lucky that he spared you... Although... He did save a Valkyrie from becoming a Dark Valkyrie and she asked me to find where he lives so that she can thank him with something special... But what...?' The Priestess's Mind.

As Kevin is walking past their position... The Young Inquisitor smirked evilly and took out his knife to slit Kevin's throat...

"HEY! WHO'S THAT!!!" The Inquisitor was spotted, and Kevin immediately jumped away. He missed.

Two SRD Operatives rushed to the Inquisitor and aimed Assault Rifles at him.

"Don't move! You're under arrest!"

"On your knees, Zealot!!!"

"FOR THE CHIEF GOD!!!" The Inquisitor Charged at Kevin... And shoved past two of the Operatives...

Kevin just slapped the Inquisitor with the back of his left hand. It was strong enough to cause the Inquisitor to stagger back... And then got kicked in the groin.

"AGGGGHHHHHHH!!! MY PELVIS!!!"

"We meet again... But it looks like you're going to have to taste my wrath... Much harsher..."

He collapsed to the ground... And then Kevin told one of his Operative...

"Give me a Stick."

"Roger that."

"W-Wait a minute... Surely you can- AHH!!!"

While the Priestess was able to stay undetected... Just watched that Inquisitor getting the same treatment as before... But with a stick. With an unamused stare, and leaving back to Lescatie... With a...

"What did I tell you...? He doesn't go alone, and now you just got punished severely... Again."

She waiting at a safe place... Until the Young Inquisitor returned... With his ample posterior bleeding.

"Well?~ What do we learn?~"

"Oh. Shut up."

The Priestess giggled, before healing him and heading back to Lescatie.

Back to Kevin...

"Both of our Squads have returned, Lieutenant. The enemy Base of Operation has been destroyed.

"Good... I've just punished an old friend severely. This better be good." Kevin.

Two Squads of the SRD have returned, with a salute.

"Casualties?"

"Two Wounded, One Severely Injured." The Sergeant of the 1st Squad replied.

"1 KIA. 3 Lightly Wounded, 5 Heavily Wounded. We're committed to the Frontal Assault." The Sergeant of the 2nd Squad, with bandages and have consumed Strong Pain Killers.

Kevin let out a sigh. He'll have to say his condolences to the Fallen Soldier's Family and Relatives. But at least, the casualties were now much fewer, compared to what he faced.

"Alright... Radio back to base."

The Radio Operator lent him, a Radio.

"This is Saber 1-1, to HQ. The enemy Base of Operation of the Demon Realm's 5th Division has been annihilated. They won't be coming back soon, over."

"This is HQ to Saber 1-1. Well done destroying their base. They won't be coming back for a long while because of the casualties and the damage that you've done. For now, head back to the Mining Place and prepare for a defensive action, over."

"Saber 1-1 copy. SRD 1st Platoon will provide defensive support for the Militias and Army, over and out."

With that done. Kevin orders his Platoon to return to the Mine to defend the Engineers.

"Hey, Shit on a Shingle doesn't count..." The Sergeant of the 1st SRD Squad returned.

"At least, we'll have some food in our stomach," Kevin muttered.

They all chuckled a bit.

As they're returning to the Mining Site...

"Let's celebrate for dinner, guys! I know someone, who could get us some alcohol and some girls nearby!"

"Pft... Already? You did that since we've hunted down a bunch of Zealots since a week ago. And now this? This task was a bit harder compared to the last..." Kevin replied.

The Second Lieutenant laughed and she replied... "You don't know, what the next mission can bring, Senior Lieutenant.~"

They all laughed... Kevin just let out a sigh but did not oppose them.

As Kevin moves back to base... Unaware that an Angel, a Valkyrie, a Cupid, and a Lizardman (Mamono) were seeing the battle from the hidden side.

Meanwhile...

"Huh. They are just like humans of the Order, but... They went into a path of Technology, and have walked away from Religion." The Cupid, as she's hiding.

"But they walked away from the path of the Chief God! What can we do? They followed the path of Technology without fearing the Order's or the Chief God's wrath!?" The Angel seems to be confused and agitated by Zievian's View.

"Their Senior Lieutenant was quite brutal on that Order Inquisitor... Looks like he enjoyed teaching him a lesson... Almost like he has faced that guy before..." The Lizardman Monster Girl was a bit of a masochist.

"So... Can we try to talk to him?" The Valkyrie wonders if she can talk to her savior.

"... M-Maybe later... They don't seem to be in a mood to talk..." The Angel replied. Concerned about Valkyrie's decision and the current mood of the SRD Platoon.

Midday... Joint Forces' Base Camp, Order's Priestess POV.

I've managed to disguise myself as one of the Zievians, as one of them called for a few women to join in the fun.

Normally, I would've expected some infighting between the Militias, Zievian Armed Forces, and even their Strategic Response Division...

But instead, I'm seeing a cook-off between the three. And others are charging against one another with... I think those are Pugil Sticks... Are they fighting as if they've attached a Bayonet to their Rifles...?

Other than that, they are just doing what a garrison would do... Chatting, Drinking, and Telling their Personal Stories, some are guarding their Largest Mine as their Engineers are fortifying the place... But why?

What's so valuable about this mine?

I have to carefully sneak into that mine...

I was able to sneak across and then noticed him. Senior Lieutenant Kevin Lee of the SRD... It seems he was being debriefed by a Major. And I listened in.

"Well done on your mission, Kevin. Despite the 2nd Squad's Casualties."

"Most of them were wounded, Major. I'll have to send my condolences to the Fallen Soldier."

Kevin's POV.

I've returned to the destroyed Base of Operation, with the Investigation Section. Making sure those Hedonists have been dealt with.

"Any of them alive?" I asked.

"Negative. A total wipeout. Those two Assault Squads have razed it to the ground. No survivors... Aside from a few Incubuses we've captured." One of the SRD agents replied.

"How's the interrogation?" I asked.

"Little to No Progress. We have to use some enhanced interrogation methods. To make them speak." The SRD Agent replied.

"In other words... Torture." I bluntly replied.

The Agent lets out a sigh and said...

"That's quite brave, Senior Lieutenant. But remember, we're facing a bunch of Monster Girls, who're also known to kidnap men to have babies, and women to turn them into one of them. We can't afford any leniency." SRD Agent, tell me the reason why.

"I know... Though, why can they only give birth to only Mamonos?" I asked, with a hint of curiosity...

"You can thank the Original Chief God. If they can reproduce a male human, we might open our door. But for now? Not a chance." The SRD Agent Replied.

"... Somehow, I can understand that," I replied, as I under the reason from an Agent. He nodded.

Sure, we're both the SRD (Strategic Response Division), but the Operatives and Agents are different...

Operatives, like me, are SRD's the Special Forces. Always going on operations within the enemy's territory. Or Special Missions that require a Joint Task Forces to face a larger threat.

As for the Agents, they're the Intelligence Agency. They always gather intelligence, secret operations, or even Counter Terrorist operations against the Hedonists and Zealots within the Federation.

I continued to help the Agents with the Intelligence...

"I've found a scroll! It's the Mamono's Royal Makai kind!" An Agent Yelled.

I and the Chief Agent went to the person. Normally only Agents will get the intel first... But, I'm considered a special case... A Mediator, of sorts...
