Hey there, sorry for the delays. Got tangled with some other things and life went on. I am back here, and the chapter is done.
As soon he heard those words, Finn world was shattered. He hoped to hear those words all his life, but not like this.
''What did you say?" Asked Finn again a bit scared.
''I said I am pregnant.'' Said Lilith.
The Pallum looked a little pale and just wanted a double confirmation on this.
''It´s….'' Asked him and Lilith was direct.
''Yes, it is yours.'' Said her.
The male Pallum got even more scared, he got someone pregnant by accident?
''How do you know its me?' Asked Finn
''You were the only person I slept in months. Do you think of me as some sort of skank?" Asked her.
''Oh no! No!'' Said Finn feeling a bit nervous.
There was a silent moment after that, it was like the whole world has frozen and the two were the only speaking.
''So what are you going to do?'' Asked Finn.
The brown-haired girl didn't know what to say? Having kids was not a fun thing for adventures, most that do that either retired or ended up dead pretty soon.
''I...'' Said Lilith a bit nervous and Finn started to think about the worst.
''Are you thinking of aborting?!' Asked him nervous.
''No! I mean…I don't know what to do! I just got this message a few days ago! My head is all over the place!'' Said her.
The captain of the Loki familia took a deep breath. Honestly tonight was going to be a long one.
''I just wanted to tell you that. I guess since you are the father, I need it to come clear.'' Said her.
''Lilith…'' Said Finn trying to say something smart, but nothing was coming out.
The two were in awkward position. It was almost like they had no idea on what to do now.
''Listen, we are going to figure something.'' Said him.
''What about your familia?" Asked her.
''What about them?" Asked Finn.
''They are going to think that I just wanted to get knocked up by you.'' Said Lilith.
''Well some might think that, but I am sure that everyone will understand. I can have a nice room for you in a few days, that should be no problem.'' Said Finn.
The male pallum was obstacle that Lilith was going to accept his offer, but she knew to well what she wanted to do.
''I want to stay with Hesta.'' Said her.
The man smile soon dropped, almost like he wasn't expecting this.
''Its our child and as the father I think it will be best…'' Said Finn wanting to say something but Lilith wasn't done.
''But I am the mother, I am the one carrying his or her. I want to stay where I belong, yes she might be a pain the ass, but she is my pain in the ass goddess!'' Said Lilith
The man was taken back by that, he knew Lilith was stubborn and really sassy. That ones of the reason why he admired her in secret.
Lilith on the other hand felt like an embarrassed, like she was nothing more than a dumb girl that got knocked up by a famous adventurer.
''We were both drunk when that happened. I thought someone like you knew what do.'' Said Lilith in tears.
The man felt like shit, he wanted a family to help save the Pallum bloodline. He and Lilith were pure blood Pallum and they had a child on the way, he wanted this moment be a happy one and not a sad one.
''Listen Lilith, I…'' Said Finn but Lilith cuts him.
''I don't want to leave my familia!'' Scream her.
The man was taken back by that. He was a bit nervous and wanted to make sure Lilith didn't do anything stupid.
''You wont have to leave, but we need to have our goddess to have to talk some time in the future.'' Said Finn
''What are we going to do now?'' Asked Lilith
''We will figure out.'' Said him.
''So what now?'' Asked her.
The Pallum took a deep breath as he had over 10,000 thoughts all over his head. He knew which was the essential one.
''I need to talk with Riveria, Gareth and Loki about this.'' Said him.
''Do you really have too?'' Asked her.
''I need. They are my closest allies and friends that I have. Loki saved me and these two gave me faith in working with others, if you told your familia already, then I need to tell them.'' Said him.
The woman took a deep breath and gave her answer.
''Ok, but don't tell the whole city. I know you have a lot of women that desire you and I don't want get thrown rocks because I carry your child.'' Said Lilith thinking about the worst.
''Please, I promise that nothing bad will ever happen to you.'' Said him super serious.
The girl then had a little smile on her face, she still didn't know if she and Finn would be a thing but at least she knew he could keep his word.
''Just make another promise.'' Said her.
''What is it?'' Asked him.
''That this child wont cause harm between us. Not just us, but our familias.'' Said her.
He knew what she meant. Loki and Hestia were always bumping heads with each other, now that two members of their familias were about to have a child then they would have to keep working together.
''I promise.'' Said him
''Thank you.'' Said her.
The two had something to eat and then Lilith left their table, returning back to the Hearth Manor.
''Have a good night, Finn.'' Said her.
The man stay seated for a few hours. Just thinking about the fact that he was going to be.
''My child. I am going to be a father.'' Thought him in wonder.
Later
Finn return to the Twilight Manor; he was still looking like he was hit in the gut but he was still maintaining his determined look. Soon he was confronted by Riveria and Gareth.
''Finn! Where were you! We were about to start a search party?' Asked Riveria.
''I wasn't feeling that great, so I went to have a little walk on the city.'' Said Finn
''Really?! At this time at the night.'' Said Gareth.
''I am not worried about these type of stuff.'' Said Finn.
The two noticed the down tone of his voice. Something has happened to him.
''Is something wrong?" Asked Riveria.
''I will tell in the morning.'' Said him.
''Finn…'' Said Gareth worried but Finn cuts him.
''I will tell tomorrow. Don't worry, I am not in danger or somewhat sick. Its…complicated.'' Said him all serious.
The elf and Dwarf look a bit off, but they knew this must be something serious if he was talking like this.
''Ok, we understand your wish.'' Said Riveria.
''We will wait until morning.'' Said Gareth.
Finn smile at his friends and then went to his room. However, he was soon meet with Loki.
''Hey there you are! I was a bit worried.'' Said her.
'Hey loki-sama, I am going to bed righ now, went on a walk and I am not tired.'' Said Finn as he went to his room.
The Goddess wasn't an idiot, she knew something was off with him.
''Hey what is wrong with him!?' Asked her to Riveria and Gareth.
''He said he will tell to us tomorrow.'' Said Riveria.
''What! Tomorrow, we need to know now!'' Said Loki.
''He will tell us tomorrow. So be patience Loki.'' Said Gareth.
The goddess wasn't fun of waiting but then again it's the captain of his Familia, so she need it to respect his wish.
Finn wasn't going to have an easy night, since he was repeating the same thing over and over again in his room.
''I…am going to be a father. I am going be a father…'' Said him over and over again.
He soon fall asleep, but it was clear that he wasn't going to wake up so full of energy.
This is what I had for this chapter. Next one will be the talk with the trio of the Loki familia, then talk with Hestia. Right now, we are dealing with the political side, then we will have funny moments. Let's have fun with this.
