Hi everyone, this chapter is one that I am excited about because we are getting near the UA exam. Remember, first the UA exam then we will do the Demon Slayer exam. This chapter will also be the explanation of One for All to izuku and how does he knows about this amazing quirk. Well let's find out.
A few days Later
Izuku had been using the following days to get better at his breathing technique and his attacks. He was now an expert in close and distant combat simulation. Right now, he was swinging a wooden sword again, like he had done so many times before.
''Hiya! Hiya!'' Scream Izuku.
''More!'' Said Sanemi watching Izuku.
''Hiya! Hiya!'' Scream Izuku
''Increase the swing!'' Scream Sanemi.
Izuku went to deliver the final movement but this one had a lot more dedication and strength put into it.
''HA!'' Scream Izuku even making a little wave of wind at the end.
SWOUGH
Sanemi saw that and just observe with calm. Izuku had truly improve ever since he arrived at the headquarters.
''Good…but not perfect.'' Said Sanemi.
''Sorry sensei.'' Said Izuku taking deep breaths.
''Take 10 minutes out. You will need it.'' Said him.
Izuku then sat down and tried to breath as much as he could. With this secret technique he didn't need a quirk, he would be an amazing Demon Slayer/Hero and be someone who fight for what's right and save people, which was what he always wanted.
He saw his bloody hands. The skin was pretty much being turned out do the training, he would sometimes flinch in pain but he got used to that situation. He learned to endure it, because saving someone was more important.
Sanemi just kept watching the boy trying to breath the right way, he was getting there but it wasn't at the same level is him.
''How is he doing?" Asked Kanae coming toward Sanemi.
''His speed is improving a lot. Way better than some of the rookies that we got in last year selection.'' Said the Hashira.
''So he truly has potential.'' Said Kanae.
''Yes, but we all know that demons are tricky bastards. Even the most brave and powerful hashira were folded by them.'' Said Sanemi.
''We are putting faith in Izuku to seek demons on the main cities. He is not trying to become a Hashira at the moment, all he wants is to be a hero like he always dream.'' Said Kanae.
''This UA test should be a piece of cake compare to the final selection. After all…UA doesn't kill students on purpose.'' Said Sanemi.
''I remember when I took my exam, I was so scared and thought it was a miracle from God that I survived. What about you Sanemi?" Asked Kanae.
''I just remember looking for demons all the time. Just wanting to kill them all.'' Said him.
''It's not healthy just going after them. Remember you have other things in your life than just slaying demons.'' Said Kanae holding the Wind Hashira hand.
Sanemi just took a deep breath as he holds Kanae hand, he didn't know how that women ended up falling for a guy like him.
''Genya is also doing progress from what I heard from Gyomei.'' Said her.
''I know the brat is going to fail and ran off.'' Said Sanemi a bit cold.
''Sanemi!'' Said her angry.
''I am saying what is true. He should give up and…live a normal life. I am the one who should do all the dirty work.'' Said Sanemi.
The ex Hashira knew what he meant. She almost had a heart attack when she Shinobu took the Final Selection and she wasn't having a good time sleeping ever since she heard Kanao was going to take the exam too. Honestly it was a line of work that you didn't want you loved ones to participates.
Izuku just finished to rest and went on to continue his training. No matter how bloody or crammed his muscle get he will keep going. Not because of All Might but because the Master and the Hashira all believe in him.
The next day.
Izuku was having some tea and onigiri on the balcony near the main area. He got the day off and Sanemi had given permission to relax, however soon a member of the Kakushi informed him that the Hashira and the Master wanted to speak to him. Wasting no time Izuku rushed and soon was in the presence of Master Ubuyashiki, his wife Amane and the current Hashira.
''Izuku, I am glad to see that you are doing well. I heard that you improved more on your training ever since the Rock challenge.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''Yes master, I wanted to improve my techniques.'' Said Izuku.
''Perfection is not a sin. You are doing the right thing, good job my child.'' Said him.
''Thank you master.'' Said Izuku.
''I have all the documents all prepared and my signature in mark. If I am right the UA exam is happening next week?'' Asked Ubuyashiki.
'Correct master.'' Said Izuku.
''Good, I will send the documents tonight. After this you will have to show them the fruits of your labor.'' Said Ubuyashiki still all calm and with a smile.
'Thank you so much master.'' Said Izuku bowing and even crying a little bit.
''Two weeks later a member of the Kakushi will arrive at your home and guide you to the place where the final selection will happen. More information will be given when the day arrive.'' Said him.
''Understood.'' Said Izuku.
Ubuyashiki took a deep breath and decided to explain something big.
''I called you all here because Izuku since your encounter with All Might I think it's fitting you know the entire truth about his power.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''What do you mean master?' Asked Izuku confused.
''This is the history of the quirk One For Al, the power that All Might called his for over a few decades.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
Izuku and the Hashira felt nervous about this. Izuku just heard passing when he first arrived at the Headquarters, but the Hashira heard a little bit about this power, but never the full story.
''All Might quirk?" Asked Izuku in shock.
''Yes, I think it's time for you to hear this story.'' Said him.
''Why are you telling me this now master?" Asked Izuku.
''I feel that you will meet him sooner or later once you arrive at UA. He will remember the face of the boy who's dream he crushed, returning with a chipper on his shoulder and new attitude. Of course, he will try to make it up for what he did to you.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''If he forgot who you are than it means than the buffoon doesn't care about who dreams he crushed.'' Said Sanemi pissed.
Izuku was a bit nervous but he felt that this should be heard. He took a deep breath and started to listen his master.
''When quirks first arrived in humanity people were scared. Suddenly powers were becoming a normality and those with mutation became outsiders and treated with racist view for people with regular appearance. Crime became to skyrocket, riots started to happen daily and anarchy ruled over society. During this time Muzan used these ways to blend with the people and created a great numbers of Demons that we still have to deal to this day.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''I see, although I remember some random important guy saying ´´Without the advent of extraordinary, humanity would be enjoying interstellar travels right now´´.'' Said Izuku.
''Correct.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''If he so important how come he is remembered as ´´some random important guy´´?" Thought Giyuu.
''Muzan wasn't the only one taking advantage of this age of chaos. Among these people came someone who would become the greatest treat to Hero Society, we should be glad that he wasn't turned into a demon because he would be a problem for all of us.'' Said Ubuyashiki sounding serious.
''What! Who is he?!' Asked Izuku nervous.
''Although his name remains a mystery to us, his last name is Shigaraki and he gain the power to steal quirks and gain people these stolen powers. He is known as All For One.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
That information gave Izuku goosebumps.
''All For One? I never heard of him.'' Said Izuku nervous.
''The government made sure that he is not mention in history books or in mass media. That would cause fear in the mind of young people. Besides his quirk is consider a major horror to many.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''You said he would steal quirks and give to others?" Asked Izuku.
''Yes, at first, he was doing for what he thought was a good cause. He was making people with mutation quirk look normal again and people who wanted quirk to have some sort of power. However he started to grown a marvelous mind and use this power to become an evil overlord villain, ruling the underground of Japan just like the Yakuza. One of this quirks that he stole is a long gaining one, you can just imagine how old is he.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''So that would mean he is still around and planning?" Asked Izuku in shock.
''Demons aren't the only things that can live longer than 100 years.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''I know there are quirks that can prologue lifetimes, but why would someone wanted to live that long?" Asked Izuku.
''This man will not rest until he rules over Japan, and for to happen he needs to eliminate the power to would become his downfall.
Izuku felt chills down his spine, he felt he was hearing some top tear secret information.
''All For One had a brother, a young brother who he thought didn't had gained a quirk and he wanted him by sides in his empire of power. He gave him by a force a power, the Power Stocker quirk. The truth was the brother wasn't qurikless as you my child, he did have a quirk a unique one, a quirk that would allow him to pass his power to others. When you have a power stocker quirk and a transferring quirk fused together, that would create a power beyond your imagination that could be transfer to others.'' Said Ubuayashiki telling the story of One for All.
Izuku felt so much tension, hearing that it was like reading a fantasy. He couldn't believe that all happen.
''After the younger brother escape his grasp, he was rescue by some pro heroes. Due to the current situation, he would eventually die out and pass the quirk for a pro hero that we still couldn't find the name of it. Unfortunately All For One heard of his little brother idea and decide to destroy the quirk himself, after the pro hero who also had the quirk of Gearshit, he passed down to his friend who had the quirk Fa Jin it was a short amount of time until he was killed. Then he passed down to a man named Hikage Shinomori, who decided to do things differently.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''What do you mean master?' Asked Izuku.
''Unlike the other two Hikage decided to move out and live of peace. He wanted to train One for All at the maximum so he could fight All For One in the future. In a certain occasion he ended up encountering some demons, his quirk was Danger Sense so this was easy for him. After that he ended up meeting with the Demon Slaying Corp and one of my ancestor.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''So this how you know about One for All?" Asked Izuku.
''Correct, he explained to my ancestors and they wrote down and we been following the progress of the quirk ever since. They even offer him to learn breathing technique but he passed down, instead dedicating himself to make One for All more powerful, he did also kept secret our existence so we are grateful for that.'' Said Ubuayshiki.
'This so cool! It's like it was meant to meet one day.'' Said Izuku with stars in his eyes.
''Indeed, however this was when we and the others would find out the drawback of One for All.'' Said Ubuyashik.
''Uh what do you mean?" Asked Izuku.
''Hikage soon started to feel weak and couldn't even proper fight. In the end he never faced All For One, he passed down his quirk and he died at the age of 40, according to the medical records it was from old age.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
Izuku was now shocked by that, how could someone died of old age with 40 years, that made sense.
''Old age?! But how?" Asked Izuku.
''Yes, apparently his organs and muscles were at the point of failure. Pretty much like my state at the moment.'' Said him.
Izuku was now nervous at that, was that All For one or something.
''When that news was passed around the Corp wanted to know what happen. How could someone so young and strong die all of the sudden?" Said him.
''Master how do you know of every single detail of previous generations ago?" Asked Shinobu.
''The journal that every leader has are stored in our family vault. I read ever since I was child, so I have them memorized in my head.'' Said him.
The hashira just nodded and kept listening to him.
''After his death Hikage passed his power to a man called Daigoro Banjo, who had the power called Black Whip. Once he was attacked by All For One, he passed down to man called En who had the power of Smoke Screen, then after he was killed we had Nana Shimura with flying and then Toshinori Yagi who is the current user. However, you can see something odd, since he had the quirk longer than Hikage and he is still alive.'' Said Ubuayshiki.
''Youre right, how is this possible?" Aske dIzuku.
''At first it was mystery, but then it all made sense. All the previous users died all of the sudden when fighting All For One, Toshinori went overseas to train and perfect the quirk just like Hikage wanted. However, he did not loses strength, on the country he gained. It's like he was in favor where all the others were not, how was that possible?" Asked Ubuyashiki.
Izuku was a bit lost for a few minutes, he didn't know where this was going. Then it hit him, Hikage wanted to train before he faced All For One and he was already a master of his quirk if he was a pro hero, all of them were except All Might who was born…qurikless.
''Because he is quirkless.'' Said Izuku realizing.
''Exactly, imagine a body being a cup of water. Let's say the little water I have my quirk, One for All will be added and soon or later the cup will be too full to handle. However, having no quirk means that the power could flow naturally and soon establish as the true quirk in the body.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
Izuku was shocked by this, being Quirkless is what saved All Might and he couldn't figure out himself. What kind of idiot was he?
''So being quirkless is what saved his ass. Quirkless can't be hero, yeah tell that to your predecessor idiot.'' Said Sanemi.
''He probably hodls the future of many under his shoulder, so this explain the ignorance.'' Said Uzui.
''How come the person who wields one of the most powerful quirks in the world doesn't know this stuff?" Asked Iguro.
''I guess he got too busy, trying to look like he is the only one working. When we have over 6 thousand present.'' Said Sanemi angry.
''Oh yeah, huge idiot as the number. Those poor bastards.'' Said Iguro.
''What an idiot.'' Said Muichiro
''It's sad, but he indeed has brought piece and tranquility in the hero side of society. While we protect people from Demons.'' Said Gyomei.
''I can't say I am a fan of his, but appreciate his work.'' Said Shinobu.
'Agreed, it's good to know that that people feel safe from villains.'' Said Rengoku.
Izuku just wanted to hear the rest of this story and know what happened next.
''So what happened?" Asked Izuku.
''After practicing for almost a decade he finally confronted the man who killed his master. Their fight was in a distant part of Japan, due to the hero not waiting any civilian hurt. After a bloody battle one winner was decided.'' Said ubuyashiki.
''All Might.'' Said Izuku.
''Exactly, however he beat down All For One so bad that his face got so damaged that couldn't be repaired. Its almost like me, where he couldn't even see or smell properly. However All For One did a number of damages to All Might.'' Said Ubuyahsiki.
''There is also the one caused by Toxic Chainsaw. That's when he started to have his hero form and regular form.'' Said Izuku remembering when he meet All Might.
''Correct, you do know your hero history my child.'' Said Ubuyashiki smiling.
Izuku also smiled at that, he remembered that day. It was both the worst and best of his life, worst because his hero broke his heart but the best because that led him to meet the Demon Slayer Corp.
''Where is All For One right now?' Asked Izuku.
''He is in hiding; he still has loyal people who follow him and he is constant life support.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''It makes sense, a beat down from All Might could ended up killing someone.'' Said Izuku remembering all the time he saw an All Might fight.
''It's good that the most evil men in Japan never meet the most evil creature. If All For One and Muzan ever meet up and cooperate we could just see chaos coming. Thankfully the Demon Lord is a creature who will never work with what he considers his food.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
Izuku just nod at that.
''Right now, both sides are unaware of Demons. There are few ones that can blend in society and look like they have mutation quirks. They prefer to wait in the shadows for a chance to eat, this is for the better this way we can work in secret as tradition. There will be time that you might be called for Demon Slaying duties in school nights, but you are very aware of that.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
''Understood.'' Said Izuku.
Ubuyashiki just smile at that, he was ready to send this kid home before the two biggest examples of his life ever happen.
''Izuku.''
''Yes.''
''Do you value human life?" Asked the master.
''Yes.''
''What comes first when being a hero?" Asked Ubuyashiki.
''The people, fame and money are things that might distract or warp me.'' Said him all serious.
Ubuyashiki just smile at that. Izuku was with a different goal as he once had, he wanted to be a good hero but not one that receives tons of attention or praise all the time, he just wanted to help people and save them from villains and Demons.
''I am glad that you came to us. I have high hopes that you are going to be a wonderful hero.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
Izuku started to break down and cry, the Hashira just smile at that. Izuku was still a little bit the crybaby that arrived at the Headquarters all those months ago.
''Thank you master! For Everything!'' Said Izuku bowing down.
''You´re welcome but remember Izuku, you did most of the work. I just said you could train in my lands and you outdone yourself. Those scars are the living proof that you are willing to sacrifice yourself for others, never forget that.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
Izuku and the Hashira all and they were all smiling, that man standing in front of them was the sole reason of why they have a great role in saving mankind.
''We will have a car to send you home tomorrow. In the meantime, you should say goodbye to a few people.'' Said Ubuyashiki.
'Thank you master!'' Said Izuku.
Amane hold her husband hand with a little smile on her face, she knew he was doing something crazy, but this might change the life of so many in the future.
The next Day.
A nice car with a Kakushi member was ready to take Izuku home. At the moment the boy was saying goodbye to the Hashiras, since he won't be seeing them for a while. He was also taking a little sword with him, this way he could use on the UA exam and the final selection.
''Well this is it.'' Said Izuku.
''Yes, it was so nice to have you around Izuku-kun.'' Said Mitsuri.
''You better keep working.'' Said Sanemi all serious.
''I won't stop training sensei, I promise.'' Said Izuku.
''Take care kid.'' Said Giyuu with a smile.
Izuku looked a Giyuu and bowed to him.
'Thank you so much Giyuu-sama, if it wasn't for you I don't know what would be of me today.'' Said Izuku.
''Its ok kid, maybe this was always your destiny and I just happen to push you towards.'' Said Giyuu.
''Yes, thank you so much again.'' Said Izuku.
''Please be safe.'' Said Gyomei while doing a little praying.
''I will.'' Said Izuku.
The Hashiras saw Izuku get in the car and soon he was off from the main headquarters. The current strongest Demon Slayers were wondering where this would go.
''Do you think he will pass in the two test?" Asked Rengoku.
''Well he can either be rejected or being eaten in the final selection. Which one is the worst scenario?" Asked Shinobu with a sarcastic tone.
''Ok we get it.'' Said Sanemi.
''Maybe they will try to mess something in the UA exam, but we are prepared for this sort of thing.'' Said Uzui all confidants.
''They say a hero always win, yeah because that sells better.'' Said Sanemi annoyed.
''So we just wait now?" Asked Muichiro.
''The kid is now on his own for a while, then we will see what is the next step.'' Said Iguro.
''We will be watching him as the master wishes.'' Said Gyomei.
The Hashira all nodded it and soon return to their duties. They had missions to do and places to patrol, but all of them were wondering what would happen to Izuku.
At the Midoriya house.
Inko was so excited when she saw her son in person for the first time after months. She wanted to see how he was now.
''Izuku my dear…'' Said her with a sweet smile.
Then she saw the scars arounds his arms and a few around his neck and cheeks, it was like Izuku got cut in a lot of times.
''IZUKU WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE?!'' Asked Inko scared.
''Its ok mom, it was result of my training.'' Said Izuku all calm.
''What kind of monstrous training you did?!'' Asked her all nervous.
''A very military one. The important thing I am fine, its great to be home again and…do I smell Katsudon?" Asked Izuku
''Oh yes, I made them specially for you. Want to eat now?" Asked Inko.
''Oh boy, I am starving!'' Said him all happy to eat his mom food again.
Izuku soon told his mom about the training he did. He didn't mention the Hashira, the master or the Demons and everything, he formulated and gave a run-down version. He didn't like lie to his mom, but he knew she would freak if she heard he was training to kill demons.
At UA
Principal Nezu was at his office, looking at the files of the applicants for the recommendation exam. At the moment nothing serious was happening, then he received an interesting message.
''Uh, a email? At this time?' Asked Nezu.
The email didn't had a clear name, but it had documents and signatures.
''A sponsored student?! What kind quirk does he has?" Asked Nezu.
The rodent saw the picture and the name of the boy who was being sponsored, name Izuku Midoriya and he was…
''Quirkless! Who is idea is this?" Asked Nezu wanting to know who was sponsoring this kid.
Nezu scrolled down to see the benefactor and saw a name that was famous all around Japan.
''MR. U?! He is sponsoring a quikrless hero…interesting.'' Said Nezu now wanting to see where this was going.
The rodent drank his tea and checked on the documents. All of them legit and everything in the right order, he couldn't wonder what would be like if UA had their first quirkless student in the hero course. This would cause some questioning and discussion, but this was a more fun way to see things.
So yes, Izuku is back home and in two chapters he will be taking the exam. I want Izuku to have a good look of his hometown now that he is going to be a Demon Slayer, also he has the Wisteria incess with him, I forgot to write that down.
