Kanda raced through the forest, breathing sharply as the moonlight filtered through the canopy. The faint sound of footsteps behind him signaled that Lavi was keeping pace, though just barely. The stalker had a head start, and his shadowy figure darted through the underbrush with an agility that made Kanda's heart race with urgency.

"Over there!" Lavi's voice cut through the night, and Kanda veered to the right, his keen eyes catching sight of their quarry slipping through a gap in the trees. Despite the thrill of the chase, a part of Kanda's mind remained tethered to the thought of Allen, whose safety depended on their success.

The stalker led them on a wild pursuit, doubling back and using the terrain to his advantage. Kanda's frustration grew with each passing moment, and he could sense Lavi's determination matching his own. Both of them had reasons beyond duty to want this menace captured and out of Allen's life.

As they reached a clearing, the stalker took a risky leap over a fallen log, and in a split second, Kanda made the decision to follow. He cleared the log, landing smoothly on the other side, but the stalker's lead was widening. Behind him, Lavi stumbled slightly but quickly regained his footing, his unwavering resolve evident in his eyes.

Despite their best efforts, the stalker was slipping away, his figure becoming a mere silhouette against the dark expanse of the forest. Kanda pushed himself harder, and with determination. His unspoken feelings for Allen fueling his every stride. But as the minutes dragged on, it became painfully clear that their prey was going to escape.

Finally, as they burst through another thicket, the stalker was gone, swallowed by the night. Kanda came to a halt, his chest heaving, and Lavi caught up moments later, his expression a mix of frustration and regret.

"We lost him," Lavi said, his voice tinged with exhaustion.

Kanda nodded; his own disappointment mirrored in Lavi's eyes. They made their way back to the house, in silence. Knowing that they would have to work together in order to protect Allen.

As they got closer to the house, they both noticed that Allen was standing on the porch with a worried expression on his face. It hurt Kanda to see his beansprout looking so worried. It also made him feel like he failed him, which irritated him even more.

Once Allen notices them, he hopped off the porch and ran down to meet them.

"Did you catch him?" Allen asked, his voice had a mixture of hope and fear.

Kanda shook his head. "He got away," he admitted, the frustration still evident in his tone.

Allen's shoulders slumped, but he quickly recovered, offering a reassuring smile. "Thank you both for trying. I feel safer knowing you're looking out for me."

Lavi stepped forward, his usual cheer returning. "We'll get him next time, buddy. Don't you worry." He spoke as he places his arm around Allen's shoulder with a smile.

As Allen leads them towards the warm light of the house, Kanda couldn't help but steal a glance at Lavi with his arm around his sprout. A tinge of jealousy shot through his heart at the thought of Lavi with Allen. He quickly glances away in order to hide it, and wonders if there will ever be a right time to reveal his true feelings.

Facing Kanda and Lavi, Allen's eyes reveal his concealed anxiety. "Umm I was wondering if... I mean can you both stay the night?" he murmurs shyly and barely able to meet their gaze. "I'm scared he might come back."

Kanda and Lavi share a look, silently agreeing. Lavi nods and reassures Allen with a squeeze on his shoulder. "We're here for you, buddy."

Kanda nodded as well, his eyes softening as he looked at Allen. "We'll stay," he said simply, the promise of protection clear in his tone. As they head into the house together.

That night, Kanda couldn't sleep, replaying the chase over and over in his mind. He remembered Allen's worried face and Lavi's confident promise to protect him. Both cared deeply for Allen, but each showed it differently. Kanda's protective instincts fueled his determination to keep Allen safe from the stalker threat.

As the first light of dawn crept through the windows, Kanda finally allowed himself to close his eyes, vowing that he would do everything in his power to protect Allen, even if it meant keeping his own heart in the shadows.

In the morning, a knock on the door jolted Kanda, Lavi, and Allen awake. Fear shot through Allen; he dreaded that it might be his stalker. Kanda and Lavi stole themselves for another chase, ready for anything. The knock came again, echoing ominously in the quiet house. Allen glanced over his shoulder to make sure Kanda and Lavi were prepared, their eyes hard with determination.

Slowly, Allen approached the door, his heart pounding in his chest. As he reached for the handle, the knock came once more, accompanied by a familiar voice. "Allen, are you up?" Lenalee yelled.

Relief washed over the trio. Allen exhaled deeply, his fears momentarily alleviated as he opened the door to reveal his friend, Lenalee, standing there with a concerned expression. Kanda and Lavi relaxed, lowering their guard as they welcomed Lenalee into the safety of the house.

Lenalee glanced at the unusual group, with a puzzled expression upon her face which soon turned to suspicion. She asked, "What's going on here?"

Allen hesitated, feeling overwhelmed. He looked at Kanda and Lavi for support before beginning. "Lenalee, I need to tell you something," he said, his voice shaking. "I've had a stalker for weeks. They're following and watching me. I'm scared and didn't know who else to turn to."

Lenalee's eyes widened with concern as she took in the gravity of the situation. She stepped closer to Allen, her hand gently resting on his arm. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" she asked softly. "We could have helped you."

Allen looked down, as guilt washing over him. "I didn't want to burden you. But now... it's gotten worse. I need all the support I can get."

Lenalee nodded; her expression determined. "You're not alone, Allen. We'll figure this out together, Right guys" she said as she looks towards them, and they nod in agreement.

They all sat around the table while Lenalee started making breakfast for them all. The aroma of coffee and freshly cooked eggs filled the kitchen, creating a cozy atmosphere. Kanda, Lavi, and Allen watched her with appreciation, feeling a bit more at ease.

Lenalee moved with purpose, her mind racing with possible solutions. "We need to come up with a plan," she said, placing a steaming plate of food in front of each of them. "First, we should gather as much information as possible about this stalker. Allen, have you noticed any patterns or specific times when they seem to be following you?"

Allen shook his head, frustration evident in his voice. "No, I haven't noticed any specific patterns or times. It feels random, and that's what makes it scarier. I never know when they'll appear next."

Lenalee frowned, deep in thought. "That makes it harder to predict their movements, but we can still find a way to protect you," she said, her tone resolute.

Lavi leaned forward, his eyes full of concern. "We need to set up a surveillance system and document everything. That way, we'll have evidence to take to the authorities."

Kanda chimed in with a reassuring tone, "And until we catch this stalker, we should make sure the beansprout never goes anywhere alone. We'll take turns accompanying him."

Lenalee agreed, saying, "That's a good start. We should also inform the local authorities so they can increase patrols and monitor the situation."

As they talked over their plan, their initial fear gradually transformed into a sense of purpose and together, they felt stronger. They finished their breakfast feeling determined and ready to keep Allen safe.

Lenalee glanced around at her friends, determination sparking in her eyes. "Alright, who wants to take the first shift in protecting Allen?"

Kanda and Lavi both shot their hands up almost simultaneously, but Lavi was a fraction of a second quicker. "I'll do it," he declared, a hint of triumph in his voice. Kanda's eyes narrowed slightly, a flash of annoyance crossing his face.

"Fine," Kanda grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. "But I'll take the next shift, and I won't be late."

Lenalee smiled. "Thanks. Let's stay alert and help each other."

Allen smiled at his friends, feeling a comforting warmth spread through him. Despite the fear and uncertainty, he couldn't help but think how lucky he was to have such caring and dedicated companions. Their support gave him strength, and for the first time in days, he felt a glimmer of hope.
