Chapter 20: Slumber Party

Back in the lounge, the child was with the red cyclops, talking and drawing pictures with each other. Yes, after dinner, Anya had taken out her materials to make more drawings of memories and things they liked.

Of course, since they were alone, Niffty spared no effort in making somewhat peculiar drawings, especially since they were so visible. The girl in red didn't even hesitate to show or describe them, possibly causing Anya to not sleep that same night.

The little girl, in turn, drew only what she remembered and liked, and even drew each of the hotel group and described what she saw and thought of each of them.

Despite everything, the two girls had a lot of fun with each other's drawings and comments.

At one point, Charlie appeared in the room, and addressed both of them. - "Aww, I'm glad to hear you two are having fun, but I think it's time for bed, Anya. Tomorrow will be a long day, especially for you."

Anya pouted, but then Niffty jumped in and declared. - "Oh, Charlie. Why don't Anya and I spend the night together tonight? I had planned a slumber party for the two of us. So please let us have some fun tonight, yes?"

After a few seconds of thinking, the princess nodded. - "Alright, but I ask that you two not stay up too late, okay?" - she replied, before leaving.

Seconds of silence later, the two girls looked at each other and held each other's hands, while holding back a small squeal of excitement. - "We're going to have a lot of fun tonight, Anya!" - "Anya agrees, Niffty!" - they both muttered to each other.

After tidying up everything in the room, the two girls were finally ready to start their slumber party.

Anya took mostly her toys and plush dolls and spread them on the floor, which contained pillows and sheets placed by her and Niffty.

They even got bowls of popcorn and candy, and cups of juice and child even saw Charlie and Vaggie bring a small television into her room so they could both watch movies and TV shows.

The last detail was to make a shack with the sheets and pillows from the room. The cyclops might have been annoyed at the mess that would be left later, but in her thoughts, it would certainly be worth it in the end.

After seeing the result, the two little girls felt satisfied and put on their own pajamas.

"I feel like we're going to have a lot of fun tonight, Anya." - Niffty declared excitedly. Anya nodded and replied with a smile. - "Anya thinks so too, Niffty."

With that, the first thing they both started to do was put on a movie to watch. At a certain point, the little girl realized that the red cyclops had left out one of the movies, because in her thoughts, "Angel had instructed not to let Anya watch this one", which implied that it was one of his movies.

After several choices, the chosen movie wasone of the James Bond classics, one of the fictional spies that Anya liked the most.

During the movie, the two girls always pointed out and commented on the details that most caught their attention. The child also commented that she always wanted to have a family that had spies or even weapons like those used in fiction.

And it was then that Niffty revealed something. - "It's a shame you weren't adopted in the other world, Anya. But look, I believe there must be spies here, especially the evil ones." - she commented this last part more to herself and continued.

"Not to mention that there are places where you can get spy equipment or weapons, like that store we went to that afternoon. But of course, you have to have a lot of money to negotiate with them, otherwise, they'll kill you."

Anya thought about it, and then, she murmured and asked. - "Do you promise to keep a secret, Niffty?" - the girl in red felt a little taken aback, but nodded, curiosity and anxiety taking over.

With that, she walked to the bottom drawer of the commode and took out the gift box. And then, she returned to Niffty and opened the box, revealing what was inside.

"Mr. Dust gifted Anya a silenced pistol, so Anya could defend herself in case he wasn't around to protect Anya." - She explained, as she showed the silenced pistol inside the small gift box.

The red cyclops looked at the silenced pistol in admiration, as she listened to the story behind it. - "Cool. I have weapons too, mainly needles and knives. I use them mainly to stab and kill bugs." - she declared, excited.

Anya felt slightly uncomfortable about it, even though she didn't like specific bugs. She just hoped she wouldn't see Niffty doing it to other vertebrate animals, at least.

So the little girl went to the commode and put the small gift box back in the bottom drawer, and returned to where Niffty was.

"Do you know where they also have spy outfits or something? Anya would really like to wear one of those someday." - she asked, excited at the thought.

The little cyclops thought of some possible place, and the child heard her thinking about buying from that store, and quickly the answer came. - "Not that I know of, Anya. Why do you ask?" - she asked, in an innocent tone of voice.

Anya didn't want Niffty to suspect her, so she replied. - "Nothing. Anya just thought a spy outfit would go with the silenced pistol. Don't you think so, too?"

The girl in red chuckled lightly and nodded. - "I agree. I'm sure it would look really cute on you, Anya."

The two girls continued to look at each other briefly, until the sound of the television caught Anya's attention. - "So... do you want to watch another movie now, Niffty?" - she asked.

The little cyclops looked at the television and realized that the movie had already ended. After reviewing some other movies again, she chose to put on a horror movie, which involved spiders as monsters.

Anya would have been terrified by the movie if it weren't for the fact that she had already met a spider, although him wasn't threatening to her.

It was already two in the morning when Charlie and Vaggie went to Anya's room to see if she and Niffty were asleep or awake. As soon as they opened the door and peeked in, they saw the two little girls sleeping inside the tent made of pillows and sheets.

Cups and bowls of popcorn were set aside, along with candy wrappers. The television was still on, playing the last movie they had put on before possibly going to sleep.

The princess restrained herself from squealingof cuteness loudly enough at the sight of the two girls. Silently, she and Vaggie began to gather up the cups and bowls to take to the kitchen.

They took one more look before leaving and quietly closing the room door.

03/03/2025: After four days, I finished this chapter. It was one of the ones I least enjoyed writing, but the next one will be the last day of the week in the story, before the events of the series finally begin.

These chapters may end up taking longer, as I will need to watch the episodes and review each scene in order to write them.
