Owing their success to she and her four sons' mysterious and horrific powers, they press onward with an entirely novel project: psychic human bioweapons, harvested to work as devoted "swords" for Jenova's lineage. Sort of crack take of Swan Lake, Final Fantasy 7 edition! Sephiroth is cursed to be a chocobo at day. He can only be human at night when he finds a meadow to change. Oh, and love is supposed to be the answer. The problem? Sephiroth is the most hated individual. Oh the irony.

Tifa is plagued by nightmares, and when their party returns to Nibelheim for the first time since that fated night, she is torn from sleep by them. But Cloud, the boy she secretly loves and who she worries so much about, reminds her that he's always there for her. He once made a promise to her, right here in this very same town. And he'll keep his promise to her - infinitely.
