After three months on the road from Georgia to Virginia, the large family is welcomed in Alexandria. There, Sophia befriends Merle's daughter, Bonnie Dixon, and her and Carol get caught up in the Dixon family. Daryl and Carol find their way to each other right as the outbreak begins, and they have to fight to save themselves as well as their family.
