Epic the Musical characters react to the musical (and maybe other things)

Adapted from the story of Cyrene which I really wanted to get into after recently discovering it; and because I'm a random weirdo I decided to expand on it… in play format!

Corey Mercer never expected to encounter a talking white owl claiming to be the Greek Goddess Athena. He also never expected that he was the reincarnation of Zeus, tasked with awakening others like him to protect the mythical Pandora's Box. It falls to Corey and his new allies, known as the Incarnates, to defend the world and Pandora's Box from the diabolical Underworld God Hades.

Hello! This a retelling of a retelling. This a fanfic of Epic the Musical. It's in Greek Mythology because there's no category for Epic on :( but if/when it's added this story will be moved there. I know this isn't a very good summary, but give it a read anyway. It'll be worth your time.

Another Greek myth story coming up - mostly about the king Sisyphus, but others are there as well.

This short story follows the events 'Epic' and its retelling of the Odyssey. Inspired by cut song 38 melded with Hold Them Down, Odysseus, and I Can't Help but Wonder. I always enjoy the different translations of Odysseus' homecoming so this story explores one version of events. There are also some book translation-inspired influences but I did try to keep it centered on Epic lore.

I make new human friends and learn about avatars. I become friends with the Christian God and Satan. Then I visit some giant squid demons and learn the truth about who they are.

Came across this while exploring the online rabbit hole on Greek Myths so decided to expand on it. ;)
