Footsteps could be heard walking at a brisk pace towards the center of what seemed to be a gigantic crater. The figure walking past many...many, many gravestones until he finally stopped in front of our graves in particular.

Engraved upon each of those slabs of stone were four names.

Below their names were remarks. The figure kneeling down in front of the graves reached forward as his fingers traced the words engraved on the stones. 'Tsunade Senju, A great Hokage, but most importantly, the best grandmother ever.'

Placing down some flowers and a Huge jug of sake and a saucer on the grave he cleaned off some of the leaves and dirt that manage to dirty the stone before he moved on to the next one.

'Sakura Haruno, a friend, a good teammate, a great healer, the best friend you could ever ask for.' doing the same he did for Tsunade he moved on to the next.

'Kakashi Hatake, a genius, a teacher, and a father you could always count on to pick you up on your darkest days.' Brining out a worn out book from the insides of his coat, he placed it down in front of the grave.

'Sasuke Uchiha, a swordsman, loyal to his those he considers friends but demonic to his enemies, a brother to Naruto Uzumaki in all but blood.' The figure stood there for a moment sapphire blue eyes dull with regret looked up at the sky, clouds hiding the sun from view.

Thunderous booms ringing out in the distance, as he just starred, uncaring of the dark clouds that shielded the man from the sun.

He shed a tear...

A lone tear streaked down his left cheek as he closed his eyes.

Breathing in and letting out a shaky breath, he walked to the middle of the four graves and sat.

For what seem like hours, he just sat there unmoving. But then he spoke.

"Hey, guys...It's been a year. A year since..." His breath hitched in his throat as he choked out one word.

"Kaguya"

His blond locks blowing in the wind, as he looked up at the sky. " I could still remember it like it was yesterday, y'know? Not a day that goes by i don't regret that day..."

(Flashback)--

In what Naruto dubbed as the gravity dimension, Sasuke and Naruto stoon side by side. They were the only ones left to fight Kaguya.

Obito, Kakashi and Sakura were trapped in the 'Infinite Tsukuyomi' Sasuke arriving too little to late as the tree vines encompassed everyone else but him and Naruto, being inside his 'Susanoo' offering a type of protection against the powerful Genjutsu.

They have been fighting for 3 days straight and Kaguya, didn't even break a sweat while Sasuke and Naruto were barely standing on their last legs. Even if Naruto's stamina had a limit, and he couldn't keep suppling Sasuke with the Kyuubi's chakra.

"Oi...teme," Naruto managed to breathe out, getting Sasuke's attention, Naruto continued.

"I...got...a plan. But it's...risky..."

"Well...? Spit it...out already!" Glancing at Naruto, Sasuke's mix-matched eyes spun.

Appearing in Naruto's mindscape with Kurama behind said host, Naruto relayed to him and Kurama his insane idea.

"That's foolish thinking, Naruto..." Kurama disagreed laying down his head on his paws, as he stared at his jailer.

"Aw c'mon Kurama! Have a little faith in me will ya!? Naruto yelled, trying to convince his partner.

"I agree with the fox Naruto, you have no guarantee that this will wok." cutting off whatever the blond knuckle head was trying to say he continued.

"You could die if this fails...Naruto."

Letting the consequence hang in the air at the implications. If Naruto died then all hope is lost, although both of them were at their limit. Sasuke hated to admit it but, Naruto has more of chance at defeating Kaguya than him because of his vast chakra reserves and stamina.

"But with that in mind, it's our only hope now." Sasuke smirked as he offered Naruto a small smile. Not a smirk or sneer, but a genuine smile.

Smiling back Naruto held out his fist to Sasuke. " Let's give her one hell of a fight, eh...brother."

Smile still in place Sasuke brought his fist to meet Naruto's and bumped fists. "Yeah...brother."

Back in the real world, not even has passed as they were having their conversation in the mindscape. Plan already in mind, both of moved, Naruto brought his hands up and calling out his signature jutsu 'MULTI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!' Thousands of clones popped into existence.

"CHARGE!"

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" Clone after clone charged at Kaguya's floating form as they tried get a hit in.

They tried dog-pilling her but they got punctured like a porcupine instead, her 'All-Killing Ash Bones' turning them to ash. Smoke filled her vision as she looked up and saw Sasuke above her.

"All-Killing Ash Bone" Kaguya said in a monotone voice.

'Amenotejikara!' In sasuke's place was now a Naruto clone.

Distracted by Sasuke's attempt to get close to her she didn't realize that Naruto got behind her blue chakra flowing though his palms he touched Kaguya's back and pulled.

Kaguya felt something wrong as she looked at the chakra now connecting her and Asura's reincarnation and she realized what was happening.

Face going red in anger she screamed at Naruto. " YOU...YOU INSOLENT BRAT! I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE MY CHAKRA AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN! She screamed at Naruto.

Bringing her hands in front of her, palms facing towards Naruto, bones protruded out of her palms as she fired off volley upon volley of her 'All-Killing Ash Bone' at Naruto.

Immediately his clones came in front of him as they protected him from the bones, focusing on the task at hand else he lose focus, and loses his chakra instead. It was now a battle of Tug-o-War with chakra.

Slowly winning the battle, Kaguya was angered that she couldn't use the full might of her chakra because of these damn stunt Asura's reincarnation was pulling. Focusing all of her available chakra into one singular bone growing bigger by the second, between her hands.

Horrified by what Kaguya was doing the clones tried to intercept her but it was too late. She let LOOSE.

The bone now the size of a torso launched at Naruto, destroying most of his clones. As if time had slowed down, he looked in horror as the speeding projectile inched closer and closer to him, destroying his clones as it progressed closer and closer...

And as his last clone was standing in front of him, he closed his eyes waiting for the pain to come...but, it never came.

Looking down at his chest he found nothing, no injury...nothing. But then he looked up and all color drained from his face.

"S-Sa-Sasuke!" Naruto cried out, his grip still firm on the chakra connecting him and Kaguya as Sasuke fell on his knees.

"So...this is...it huh?" Sasuke mumbled to himself as he looked back at Naruto. Sighing softly Sasuke gathered his thoughts before he spoke.

"Give me your hand...Naruto..." Sasuke finally said as he reached forward for Naruto's left hand. Still in shock, Naruto said nothing and he didn't move when Sasuke moved to grab his left hand and placed his hand on his.

Taking off his hand Sasuke smilled once more...a genuine smile as he mouthed four words.

"I...love...you...brother..." Sasuke said as his body crumbled into dust in front of him.

Naruto...unresponsive as his left hand fell limp beside him, gazing at his brother, now turned ash in front of him...he shed tears.

Tears of disbelief, of regret, of ANGER!

"ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Gripping the chakra connecting him and Kaguya he pulled...He pulled and pulled and Pulled AND PULLED AND PULLED AND PULLED AND PULLED!

He pulled with all his might and finally...

KAGUYA'S POV--

'I didn't know what hit me. Sure I was angry but i was within reason!'

"Was it wrong for me to want my chakra back? Wrong to desire for what was originally mine? wrong to be angry at the world when it betrayed me first?"

"WHY, HAGOROMO, HAGURA!? ALL I WANTED WAS A LOVING FAMILY! TO HAVE A PEACEFULL LIFE! WAS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR!"

I screamed in my mind as slowly, my mind started to crumble...curling up into a fetal position on the ground in my mind I wept. I cried for the first time in centuries, alone and cold, so very very cold.

But then two pairs of arms enveloped me in a loving embrace. Opening my eyes, red from crying. I looked up at the two figures, blinking away the tears obscuring my vision i cried harder as my eyes took in the form of my sons.

"Hagoromo...Hagura!" clinging on to them like a lifeline i held them, afraid that if ilet go they will disappear.

"Mother" Hagoromo, started but he was silenced when his brother put his hand on his shoulder to stop him.

Nodding in understanding Hagoromo relented and just sat there, content with just holding his mother. Then, Hagura spoke. "We love you, mother...always have...always will."

My breath hitched in her throat as she hickuped and held her sons tighter.

"My baby boys...I love you..." I breathed out a sigh as the rest of my mind crumbled...a smile on my face as a bright white light enveloped me and my sons...

Back in the real world I gazed at the sky of her dimension, a smile on my face as my body was dissolving ino chakra.

Bringing my gaze onto the black cocoon at the place Asura's reincarnation once was I gathered the last of my chakra and opened a portal below it.

'Yomotsu Hirasaka' As my last act on this plane of existence i decided to at least bring the boy back to his own dimension.

Sprawled out on the ground i continued to gaze at the clear sky in my dimension, "What was his name again...Naruto was it?" Smiling at the name i closed my eyes. " I wish you well on your journey...Naruto."

And with that Kaguya Ootsutsuki is dead...

3rd Person POV--

Back in the elemental nations, high above the sky was a black orb. A pitch black orb or darkness that floated down from the sky.

As it floated down though the god tree, reacted. As if the black orb was calling out to it, the tree reached out with a branch. And upon touching it, it happened instantly. The orb eagerly absorbing the branch continued to absorb the tree. To the point there the only thing left was the black orb.

For a moment nothing happened, then...it cracked. It cracked more and more until...'BOOM' The entire place flashed white as an explosion rang out blowing everything into smithereens.

And in the middle of it all standing in the middle of the gigantic crater was an individual. He was naked as the day he was born, but the most noticeable thing about him is his Sun-kissed blond hair, blowing in the wind with three whisker marks adorning his cheeks on each side and his bright sapphire blue eyes.

"Ughhh, whe-where am i?" Looking around he was in a crater, alone and NAKED!.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Covering his private parts he looked around to see if anyone was looking at him weirdly for being naked in public when he realized...he was alone.

Then it all came rushing back to him, his fight with Kaguya, his plan, and most importantly...Sasuke's death.

Falling to his knees, he just laid there unsure of what to do anymore. His...brother is dead, everyone else...is dead...he was alone...

Naruto just sat there, tears flowing freely out of his eyes as he let it all out, his frustrations, his anger, his loss, his regret.

Flashback END--

Naruto just sat there and told them how he's handling it, what he has been doing the past year. His training in the other ninja arts, his kenjusu training, taijutsu training, fuuinjutsu training. Creating new jutsu and learning new ones. And his training in controlling the beasts power.

"Y'know another thing that i lost was...Kurama. He was my best friend y'know? He was there with me since i was born...although it was through circumstance...i considered him...family."

Naruto kept quite for a good while before he continued. "I'm leaving this place...when i finally controlled the 10 tails chakra i combined it with sage mode and sensed a place...a place far far away from here.

Standing up he stretched and turned around to walk away, when he stopped. Glancing back at the four graves one last time.

"Goodbye..." he said, and as if on cue it started to rain. he looked up, the rain pouring down on his face, mixing with his tears.

Bringing his face forward, he began his trek back to his makeshift house by the land of waves. Paying respects to the thousands of graves he has made along the way.

He may not know them all, but he sure as hell knew that they fought for one thing and one thing only before their deaths.

They fought against their hatred for each other, and stood up as one against a common enemy.

Nodding at himself in the mirror his sapphire blue eyes gazed at a headband on top of a shelf to his left. Picking it up, he traced his fingers on the engravings on the metal plate as he lifted it up to his forehead and tied it securely.

Exiting his house, Naruto closed his eyes in concentration, as the winds picked up...lightning flashed...skies darkened as he SNAPPED OPEN his eyes.

His body coated in white chakra, a sort of circular design is featured prominently on his stomach. The whisker like markings on his face became thicker, with six magatama marking appearing around his collar. His hair now white spiking even further with 2 white locks defying the laws of gravity and floating upwards, looking like 2 horns.

Now sporting a black suit covering his whole body with a white coat over it with 10 magatama markings on his back circling a circle in the middle of his back with a ripple pattern spread over over the circle with 9 tomoe's spread across each concentric ring around the makeshift eye.

On his back are 10 black balls floating behind him dangerously, just waiting to be unleashed to cause untold amounts of destruction. But his eyes...his eyes were the most peculiar, it was golden with a ripple pattern and 9 spinning tomoe, 3 of them in each concentric ring around the iris spinning in a hypnotic way, glowing ominously with unbridled power.

Naruto reveled in the power now in his grasp. He breathed in one moment and the next he was gone. Flying through the air speeds never seen before...

TIMESKIP--

'It has been 2 days since i left in the direction where i felt the presence of life and still i don't see land' Naruto thought to himself, even his Rinnesharingan couldn't see the end of the vast ocean. It was not until 2 hours of high speed flight later that he saw rice paddies?

Slowing down, Naruto walked on the water surface to the rice paddies and spread his senses out. And what he felt was strange-to say the least, because the rice-from what he was feeling was filled to the brim with natural energy, the whole place felt so strange. But Naruto cut his musings short as he saw a giant snake curled up on a tree branch. Now that he thought about it...the tree was fucking HUGE!

He took a moment to take in the snakes appearance and what he saw was weird, it's a snake-like creature with two tails. It's distinguishing feature is a large, black lump resembling a bell. The skin of its neck up to the black lump from which the tails sprout looks twisted in texture.

"Well what the fuck are you?" Naruto couldn't help but voice out. "You look like a bell? SnakeBell? AHA! I'll call ya, Bella! And, Kurama said i have a bad naming sense, jokes on him" Naruto joked reminiscing the time with his best friend.

Hissing dangerously the now named Bella emitted some kind of energy at Naruto. "What is that energy? Is that chakra? No It's-" Naruto stopped mid sentence as homicidal thoughts invaded his mind but it disappeared as quickly as it came. Naruto's expression changed immediately.

Frowning deeply Naruto stared at, Bella in the eyes and spoke in a demonic voice "No one...and i mean NO ONE MESSES WITH MY MIND!" In a flash the snake was decapitated and not a second later Naruto was standing where he once stood with a sheathing a sword. "CLICK"

The snake fell into thousands of small pieces of flesh. Taking a moment to calm down as he sealed his sword back into the seal on his forearm(The same Sasuke had on his forearm), Naruto slowly walked to the rice and took out a sealing scroll and sealed all of the rice into it. "These rice containing natural energy might be useful to find out what the heck is going on in this place."

Taking a look in his surroundings, Naruto left, flying into the sky once again as he thought back on what he just encountered. As he was travelling he sensed multiple life signatures but paid them no mind. Even with his normal eyes he could see that they were not human...they were animals? He put it in the back of his mind for now. He had more important things to do...

He came to a stop when he reached a wall? Sensing no more monstrosities for miles he scaled the walls and came to a halt on top of it.

Thud...landing roughly on the ground he was in a forest still sensing life not far from him he depowered from his 10 tails chakra mode and took a leisurely pace, enjoying the sights.

Bringing his hands up in a familiar hand seal he called out. 'MULTI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!' Hundreds of clones popped into existence. wordlessly all of them understood what the original wanted and promptly disappeared into the foliage. Continuing on his leisurely pace he sighed to himself and thought about the events that just happened a couple hours ago.

Unsealing a handful of the rice he took, he examined it. Taking a risk he threw a them into his mouth and swallowed. Immediately going into sage mode he tried to sense if anything was wrong with him but he found nothing. Absolutely nothing. "Hmmm, weird...i thought it would turn me to stone or something...i guess not." Sighing to himself again, Naruto looked up in the night sky not knowing what future awaits him.
