Amy is ready. More than anything else in her life. Ready to kill Sonic. Surge and Kit are even more ready. Pumped up and excited, Surge jumps up and down while Kit has the biggest grin on his face that Amy has ever seen him with. He's excited and she can't blame him, she is too. Surge seems to be the most ready for the confrontation. If she doesn't get out soon, she might break through the walls. It's her life's purpose after all and again, Amy can't blame her. Amy feels like it's hers too. The three look around near where Sonic was last sighted. A cliff. Nothing is left there. Seemingly a dead end but the three won't give up. Not now, especially not now.

"Surge I can run on my own"

"I can run faster"

"Can you two please stop wasting time?"

Amy compromises with Surge and gets on her back. Surge goes fast, really fast. Faster than Sonic ever would or maybe even could. Amy feels the wind in her hair as Kit follows the two deeper into the forest.

They aren't the only ones looking for Sonic. Tails is too and they're getting closer. Finding Sonic is easy, maybe a bit too easy. Tails finds him in the middle of a bunch of trees. Seemingly looking for where to go next.

"Sonic."

Sonic turns to Tails and smiles, which then is immediately replaced with concern.

"Tails? What are you doing here?"

"You need to go back Sonic."

"What?" Sonic says confused

"Amy, she-" Tails tries to warn.

"Tails!"

"…"

"I don't care what Amy says! Amy says a lot of things nowadays! A lot of which is complete crap! All I do all day now is sit in a jail cell and rot! I could care less what she thinks about me! I never have, why should I start now? I'm tired of this Tails! I don't care anymore!"

"Sonic I-" Tails tries to say.

"Do you think I'm guilty, Tails?" Sonic looks at Tails teary eyed

"Sonic, that's not what I-"

"Do you think I'm guilty?"

"…" Tails goes silent.

"I'm not going to do this anymore, Tails."

"…" Tails stays silent.

"Even if you can't believe me, I think…"

"Sonic…"

"Tails, I don't care"

"Sonic, please."

"I can't take it anymore" Sonic turns and starts to walk away

"Sonic, Amy has Surge and Kit." Tails spouts out as quickly as they can. Sonic turns and looks glassy eyed at Tails.

A green shadow appears behind Sonic.

"Found you"

Sonic turns around and hits, blocked by Surge. Tails tries to intervene but is stopped by Kit and his water tentacles. Tails is dragged to Kit. Who holds him close. Tails can only watch as Sonic is trying not to die. Kit keeps holding him back. Surge keeps attacking Sonic as much as she possibly can.

Amy appears and almost hits Sonic dead on. He dodges however and goes back to attacking Surge. Who blocked his ball with her arms. Pushing him away straight into Amy hammer. She pulls down but Sonic manages to escape in time. Sliding back to the trees in the clearing. Then he does something, turns away and runs. Amy and Surge follow him. Disappearing into the trees. Chasing after Sonic.

Surge manages to catch up to him and push him down to the ground. Amy comes up and slams him with her hammer. Surge and Amy take turns attacking him. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over. He has nothing left. Amy and Surge stop for a moment. Sonic is still clearly alive but has given into his fate. Surge and Amy look at him then start going again. Amy bashed him in with her hammer. Surge jumps and spins into him again and again. They repeat this for a while.

They keep going. Into the evening. Sonic is already dead. But then only stop beating him once they know for certain he's dead. They don't want him coming back at all. They stop and look at each other. Both of them smile. Then hug. Then go back to Tails and Kit. Not before stopping at a creek to wash their clothes off and their faces off with all the blood. It goes off pretty easily. Not to stain any of their clothes. Amy purposely wore bad clothes for today.

"So much for making it look like an accident." Amy says, jokingly

"Who cares anyways?" Surge jokes back

Amy laughs. The two take Sonic's body and push it off a cliff into the sea and watch it wash away. All with a smile on their faces. Happier than ever. Without a word they go back to Kit and Tails. The latter which is crying into the former. Amy can't help but feel bad for the fox. Tails won't let go of Kit. Like he's the only one keeping Tails in reality. Amy breathes in and out. She decides to go home after all of this, that's a good decision.

Tails cries into Kit. Amy takes them and Surge back to her house. Tails falls asleep with Kit. In Amy's guest room. While Surge is surprised by the technology in Amy's house. Amy can't help but smile at her innocence and ignorance. She goes to bed and Surge sleeps next to her. They sleep together tangled in a mess of limbs. Amy couldn't be happier. With everyone around her and Sonix finally being dead.

Amy enjoys her new life afterwards. Kit and Tails get closer (even with Tails' brother dying) and so do her and Surge. Every day goes past without incident. No longer the cycle happens. It goes forward. Life moves. Amy goes to work. Everything is peaceful. Everything has moved on. Eggman is Dead. Sonic is Dead. Amy is alive. She lived past them and now everyone else can live past them too. Everything is done. The plan is complete. She can rest and so can everyone else. It took a bit. But she's happy.

She doesn't regret a single thing.
