Chapter 4

Hades was upset that his plan to rule Mount Olympus would be ruined if Hercules fought him so he sent Pain and Panic to give him a potion to take his godlike strength away and kill him but they would screw up

Later a bell dings and a pair of doors open to show Hades and his boys standing in front of a skeleton-decorated vault with a vial shown in the center

Pain? Panic? Hades said

Yeah? Pain said

What is it? Panic said

Got a little riddle for ya. How do you kill a god? Hades said

I do not...know. Pain said

You can't. Panic said

Why? Hades said

They're immortal? Panic said

Bingo! They're immortal. Hades said

Hades then takes a vial with red liquid and the camera zooms at it filling the screen

So, first, you got to turn the little sunspot...mortal. Hades said

It was now dusk at Mount Olympus as the night sky was brought over at Mount Olympus by the night god Nyk driving his goats across the atmosphere as Baby Hercules and Baby Pegasus were sleeping together Suddenly the shadows of Pain and Panic crawled over Baby Hercules and grabbed him the sounds of glass breaking and Pain and Panic tittering make Zeus and Hera wake up

Huh? Zeus said

What? What is it? Hera said

I don't know it must be... Zeus said

Must be what? Hera said

Suddenly Zeus and Hera realized that something horrible must have happened

The Baby! Zeus and Hera both said

Zeus and Hera ran to the cradle but found only Baby Pegasus while Baby Hercules was gone

Hercules! Oh! Hera said

NOOOOOOO! Zeus said

As Zeus screams lightning bolts flash and a giant thunderstorm rages over Olympus as Pain and Panic fly down to Earth carrying Baby Hercules

Now, we did it! Zeus is gonna use us for target practice! Panic said

Just hang onto the kid, Panic! Pain said

Pain and Panic fall to the ground and Baby Hercules starts crying

Hurry! Let's just kill the kid and get it over with, okay? Panic said

Here you go, kid. A little Grecian formula. Pain said

Baby Hercules stops glowing as he drinks the potion

Look at that! He's...changing. Panic said

Yeah, he is. Pain said

Can we do it now? Panic said

No, no, no, he has to drink the whole potion! Every last drop. Pain said

While Pain and Panic were giving Baby Hercules the potion someone was calling out nearby

Who's there? a voice said

Pain and Panic run away dropping the empty vial as it breaks and one last drop falls onto the ground

Alcmene, over here. Amphitryon said

Oh, you poor thing! Oh, don't cry. Alcmene said

Is anybody there? Amphitryon said

Pain and Panic looked at the couple checking on Baby Hercules from the bushes

Now? Panic said

Now. Pain said

Pain and Panic's shadows are shown as they walk and transform into snakes

Oh well, he must have been abandoned. Amphitryon said

Amphitryon, for so many years we've prayed to the gods to bless us with a child. Alcmene said

We have? Amphitryon said

Yes. Perhaps, they've answered our prayers. Alcmene said

Amphitryon reads Hercules' name from a medallion on his neck

Perhaps they have...Hercules? Amphitryon said

While they were looking at Baby Hercules Pain and Panic as snakes attack but Baby Hercules catches them and giggles happily hits them several times against the ground then ties them into a knot and threw them far away. Amphitryon and Alcmene stare with their jaws dropped

Help, help, help! Pain and Panic both said

Pain and Panic crashed against a rocky wall and then they turned to their normal forms

Hades is gonna kill us when he finds out what happened. Panic said

You mean, *if* he finds out! Pain said

Of course, he's gonna f...If? Panic said

Yeah? Pain said

If is good. Panic said

Yeah. Pain said

The scene then pans to Mount Olympus in dark clouds and then resolves to the Muses

It was tragic. Zeus led all the gods on a frantic search. Calliope said

But by the time they found the baby, it was too late. Terpsichore said

(Young Herc was mortal now.)

(But since he did not drink the last drop.)

(He still retained his godlike strength.)

(So thank his lucky star!)

(Tell it girl.)

(But Zeus and Hera wept.)

(Because their son could never come home.)

(They'd have to watch their precious baby.)

(Grow up from afar.)

(Though Hades' horrid plan.)

(Was hatched before Herc cut his first tooth.)

(The boy grew stronger ev'ry day.)

(And that's the gospel truth!)

The scene then resolves to a grassy area with sheep baaing while a carriage with a lot of hay moves along the road unnaturally fast then we see Amphitryon and his horse sitting before it

Hercules, slow down! Amphitryon said

No, can do pop. Young Hercules said

What? Amphitryon said

We gotta get there on time. Amphitryon said

But... Amphitryon said

Come on pop. Have faith. Young Hercules said

Alright fine just take it easy. Amphitryon said

Got it. Young Hercules said

Good. Amphitryon said

We're almost there. Young Hercules said

While Young Hercules was carrying Amphitryon to town four people appeared out of nowhere in the grassy area

It looks like we're here. Batman said

About time. Punk said

But where are we? Sophitia said

I don't know. Punk said

Hulk see sheep. Hulk said

Sheep? Punk said

Yeah. Hulk said

Where? Punk said

Here. Hulk said

Where? Punk said

On the field. Hulk said

Hulk showed the others and he was right there were sheep on the field

Whoa. Punk said

Wow. Batman said

Those are sheep? Sophitia said

Yeah. Hulk said

Amazing. Sophitia said

That's a lot of sheep. Punk said

Definitely. Batman said

Hulk told you he sheep. Hulk said

Yes, you did Hulk. Yes, you did. Punk said

So that's what sheep look like? Sophitia said

What? Batman said

You've seen a sheep before? Punk said

No. I haven't. Sophitia said

Why? Punk said

I was training mostly and i never got to see them. Sophitia said

Training? Punk said

Yes. I never one sheep during my training. Sophitia said

Not one? Punk said

Not one. Sophitia said

Well, at least you're seeing them now. Punk said

Yes. I am. And they're amazing. Sophitia said

Yeah, they're pretty cool. Punk said

Hulk has sheep but... Hulk said

But what? Sophitia said

Why are sheep here? Hulk said

Maybe we're in a world of sheep. Punk said

A world of sheep? Sophitia said

Yeah. Punk said

That's crazy. Sophitia said

I'm just saying. Punk said

We're not in a world of sheep. Batman said

Really? Punk said

I'm pretty sure Iris didn't send us in a world of sheep. Batman said

She didn't? Punk said

No. She didn't. Batman said

Then why are on a field of sheep? Punk said

I don't know. Batman said

What? Punk said

But there may be a town somewhere. Batman said

A town huh? Punk said

Yes. Batman said

Where? Punk said

We'll just have to look. Batman said

What? Punk said

Sophitia? Batman said

Yes? Sophitia said

See if you find a town somewhere. Batman said

Alright. Sophitia said

Sophitia looked around to see if there was a town somewhere but she found something coming in fast

Oh my. Sophitia said

What is it? Batman said

I think i see something. Sophitia said

Is it a town? Batman said

No. Sophitia said

It's not a town? Punk said

No. Sophitia said

Then what is it? Punk said

It appears to be two people coming by very quickly. Sophitia said

What? Seriously? Punk said

Sophitia has spotted two people coming by but who are they and why are they coming so fast stay tuned
