At an outdoor magic show in Central Park, Caitlyn and Zach watch as Dr. Mesmoro performs his act. He selects Caitlyn as a volunteer for his "mystical concentration experiment."
Dr. Mesmoro: "Look deep into my eyes, my dear… listen to my voice… feel yourself growing drowsy…"
Caitlyn, slightly nervous but curious, meets his gaze. His glowing, swirling eyes seem to pull her in. She tries to look away, but her body won't move.
Dr. Mesmoro: "You feel so calm… so at peace… your mind is light as air… and you will obey…"
Caitlyn's pupils dilate as she falls under his spell, her expression going slack.
Caitlyn (monotone): "I… will obey…"
Zach watches in horror as Caitlyn, now completely entranced, stands like a statue. Mesmoro whispers instructions in her ear.
Dr. Mesmoro: "Tonight, you will return to this very spot. You will bring others. And you will do exactly as I say…"
A series of high-profile robberies occur across the city, but what shocks the Turtles is who is committing them—children, including Caitlyn! Witnesses report seeing a strange, caped man speaking in a low, rhythmic voice before the crimes take place.
Investigating, the Turtles learn that Dr. Mesmoro, a former magician-turned-criminal hypnotist, has been using his abilities to enslave kids into carrying out his heists. Caitlyn and several other children have fallen victim to his control and are unaware of their own actions.
April traces Mesmoro's hideout to an abandoned opera house, where he has transformed the stage into a hypnotic lair with spiraling lights, swinging pendulums, and eerie music. The Turtles sneak in but are caught off guard when Caitlyn, still hypnotized, leads an ambush against them. Leonardo struggles to fend off mind-controlled children without harming them, while Mesmoro tries to hypnotize the Turtles as well.
Donatello finally outsmarts him by reversing his hypnotic waves using modified speakers, snapping Caitlyn and the others out of their trance. With his influence broken, Mesmoro is no longer a threat, and Raphael knocks him out with a well-placed kick. Caitlyn, shaken by her experience, is reassured by the Turtles that she was never at fault, ending the episode on a heartfelt note.
