"I have emailed them about this and asked them to meet on Angel Ladder, the newly opened bar about a block away from here." Chloe then walked back to her office, but not before saying something. "I guess I am not going home for now." The demigod murmured as he packed up his things. After packing and cleaning up his desk, the demigod started his walk towards the said bar. As he walked, he received an Iris Message from the goddess of the sun, Apple. "Percy! I am asking you for permission because Artemis said that I should. So, can I live with you?"
"Well I don't think I have the spot, since Zoe occupies the lone guest room that I have. Ask Lady Chaos about it and see if she can remodel my place. If she asks if you've talked to me about it, just tell her that you did." The son of Poseidon said with a smile.
"Alright, I'll do that, I guess I'll see you later then when you come home. Goodbye Percy! Bring us something aye?" The goddess said as the IM ended.
"I'm almost there." The demigod said as he noted the faint smell of wine coming from his front. After a few more minutes, the young man finally reached the bar. "I guess she was correct about this bar being new." The young man observed the signage that was outside the bar. It was spotless. "That or their cleaning crew is just good at their jobs." He said as he walked inside. When he entered the establishment, he was surprised by the amount of people that were inside, since it was a Monday. His eyes scanned the area to locate his boss, who already saw him and was waving on him when he saw her.
"We're over here!" Chloe said as she waved enthusiastically. The young man walked to their table and saw that only a handful of people came. "It was nice to see that you're able to come." The woman said as she raised her glass. "Let's cheers for our new graphic designer, Percy Jackson!"
"Cheers!" Came the chorus of laughter as they all downed their drinks. Percy decided to sit opposite to his boss, and strike up a conversation with the person beside him. "Hello, I'm Percy. "I'm Bob. Nice to meet ya Perce." The man said as he shook the demigod's hand. "We don't really get many people in our department these days, maybe that's why boss arranged a party when you came."
"She said that the whole department were coming, but I only see at most… almost a dozen people here including you." The young man said to Bob.
"Oh, most of them were busy. Which is why they can't come." The man explained.
"Although I get why some of them would want to get busy. The boss gets quite rowdy when she's drunk." Percy was intrigued by what he heard. "Percy! Your boss is awake!" This made the demigod come and check up on the woman. "Are you okay boss? You passed out on the bar after trying to kiss Bob. I brought you here to my place." He offered the recently awakened woman a glass of water, which she took with a shaky hand.
"This is your house?" Chloe asked as she looked around and saw people huddled in the center looking at a giant television. "This feels... homey." The woman said as she sat up. Watching the said people play a video game.
"You got this Hestia, beat that arrogant prick Genichiro!" Someone cheered the woman playing, who never responded and just pressed the buttons intensely.
"JUMP AND RETURN THE LIGHTNING!" The people shouted, which the woman did as her character jumped before receiving a lightning attack. She then pressed a button that made her character return the lightning attack.
"She's low sister, finish him!" Another woman said, which Chloe surmised was Hestia's sister. The said woman then attacks with relentless aggression as she watched the health bar drop down to zero.
"The one playing is Hestia." The demigod chose to speak once again. "The one on her right is Hera, and the one on her left is Zoe."
"Your girlfriends, which were the reason you were late earlier, right?" The woman quipped as she returned to watching the fight.
"One more hit!" Zoe exclaimed, as she observed the health bar and saw that the enemy only needs to get slashed one more time before dying. The previously stunned character then suddenly regained his bearings, and quickly readied himself to jump and throw another lightning attack. "Hestia, he's gonna throw a lightning attack again!"
"Not on my watch!" Finally, the one holding the controller responded as she pressed the attack button one last time, which then sent a forward slash that fortunately reached the jumping enemy, who then staggered and then a cutscene played. "YES! THAT WAS MY 35th TRY OF THAT FIGHT."
Everyone gave the woman a round of applause, which she happily received before looking at the newcomer and asking her with a warm smile. "Hello Miss Chloe. Are you doing okay?" The goddess asked with a smile.

The said boss then turned to look at Zoe, and then spoke once more. "As well as you, I presume." This then shocked the huntress, whose face can be deciphered as if asking her how she knew. "I have told her that many times." Another woman said who then quickly introduced herself. "I am Hera. I am very pleased to meet you."
"Another Greek sounding name. Don't tell me you guys are gods and goddesses here!" Chloe Sanchez said without a care and laughed at her own joke. This made the others pale slightly, before laughing nervously at the woman.
"I don't know, maybe our mother just liked the mythology so much!" Hestia said as she blushed, this time from embarrassment.
"That's probably the primary reason." Hera added who was also smiling nervously.
Their talk was cut a bit short as the door to his place opened, which then came the primordial of creation, Lady Chaos. Welcome Back.
"We should be the one saying that." The people sweatdropped as they were in disbelief with what she said. Chloe Sanchez's face looked shocked to say the least.
"You live with the boss?!" She turned to the demigod, who just smiled sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Why did you even need to go to work if the boss actually lives here?!"
"I wanted an honest job. Did you know that I used to work as a clerk for a store here at Manhattan?" The woman heard that and couldn't believe what he was saying. "I was working there even before Lady Chaos met me. And I was the primary reason why she's the top of the brass now." Chloe's look was that of disbelief, this made the demigod explain once more. "I needed to take an emergency leave for a week, which then turned into three months due to some unforeseen circumstances. I asked Lady Chaos to be my replacement and she went above and beyond when she was working in my stead." The demigod said to the lovely and beautiful Mother of Creation.

Clearing her throat, the primordial spoke before leaving. "I'll be going to my room now, everyone. Have a good night." She said as she left the scene holding a cookie jar that somehow magically appeared.
"Good night boss!" The woman said as she returned to sitting in the couch once again. "Thank god I am not sober enough yet to deal with this shit." The woman sighed before laying down once more. "I'll crash here for the night if that's fine with ya?" Which the son of Poseidon nodded to. After seeing that she got the okay, she was immediately out like a light.
"She's quick to fall asleep, I'll you that." The goddess of matrimony said, which they all shared a small laugh before the door opened once more. This time, it was a distressed Ami who looked like she saw a ghost.
"Ami!" The goddess of the hearth ran up to her as she checked up on her. "Are you okay?"
The others followed suit as they formed a small crowd near the main door.
"Come on people, let's not crowd her. Looks like she needs some air." Percy noted as the others took a step or two to give the troubled woman some space. "So what happened Ami? Why are you so stressed?"
"Some-" She then took a deep breath before speaking once more. "Someone was trying to kidnap me!"

What's up? I have been gone for too long that people started questioning if I'm dead on the reviews. Well I am not, I was just busy that I wasn't able to finish this chapter quickly. This chapter was supposed to be released on Christmas Day, as some sort of a Christmas gift to everyone who were following this story. It was at 70%, then I became so busy that the only thing I do when I am at home was sleep, eat and shit, in no particular order. But hey, a sorta belated Valentine's gift for everybody sounds good too right? So that's that.
