"This universe... So much potential, just untapped. However I'm here to further explore the secrets this world has." A silver being says as he is floating in space looking at Earth on his silver board.
"So join me reader. My name is Norrin Radd. I am the Silver Surfer and we shall explore further in this Marvel world." He says as cosmic energy flows over his hand.
"First we shall explore the different Captain America that represents this world. And that being Bucky Barns."
It all started in World War 2. With the original Captain America, Steve Rodgers. As he was leading a small team to attack a hydra train carrying weapons, ammo, and many more deadly items that may be to much for America.
In the team was Bucky Barns. Steve's best friend and loyal ally. Dum Dum Dugan. And a couple of other soldiers.
The team was on a trail on top a snowy mountain and saw the tracks the train would be heading on.
They have sat up a hook with rope and shot it across from themselves and implanted into the mountain near by.
"Alright. Train should be coming in very soon." Steve spoke as he say the smoke from a distance.
"Everyone get set up. We don't want to miss it." Cap said as they all got zip lines ready.
Soon the train starts getting closer and closer.
"Alright men now!" Steve yelled as they use the zip line and head over as they undo the line and land on top of the train.
They steady themselves on top of the speeding train and head over and find the emergency hatch on top of the cart.
Cap smashes the lock with his shield and opens the hatch as they jump in.
The car was dark and could barley see to well, however they use the flashlights they brought to better see.
They look around and see many boxes filled with the guns and ammo they learned off.
"Alright men, start making sure they are secure. We need to work out way to the front of the train." Steve says.
However as the men where looking at the crates Bucky notices something off.
He hears a small noise coming from the boxes and even a somewhat dim light.
"Guys something is-" Before Bucky could finish a mechanical arm busts through the wooden box surprising Bucky and the others.
Barnes quickly fires his gun at the steam powered bot, but the metal makes the bullets just bounce off it.
The other crates bust open as well realizing more of the bots as they distract the other soldiers as they fight back against them.
While Bucky was trying to fight back against one the bot grabs him by his collar and slams him into the train door busting it open as he holds onto the arm for life.
"Bucky!" Steve yells as he throws his shield, hitting the bot and letting go of his friend.
However as the grip loosened Bucky is about to fall but grabs a part of the rail on the train, clinging on tight.
The snow and wind blew on Bucky's face hard, could barely see outside of the cart.
Steve rushed over to help his friend and reached his hand out.
"Barnes! Here!" Steve yelled
He reached over the best he could, but eventually grabbed Steve's and and was being pulled back onto the cart.
Just then one of the robots attacks at Cap, knocking him down and loosing his grip on his friend.
Bucky's heart skipped a beat as he felt nothing to grab onto, falling and looking up at his friend.
"Barns! NO!" Cap's voice echoed in his mind as he was falling.
The solider fell a very far distance unable to see anything clearly.
Just then he suddenly crashed and skid across the ground, pain surging all over his body.
His breathing deepened and vision started to blur, he looked down and saw a trail of blood, and oddly could't feel one of his arms.
His head felt extremely dizzy and he layed on the ground and fell unconscious.
Hours later some Hyrda scouts where outside in the snow doing some recon when they found his body.
They felt figured out he was unconscious and started dragging his body over to their base, the blood fallowing in the snow.
Arriving at the base they explain.
"We found an American! He is perfect for the experimentation! His arm is gone as well." The scouts explain.
"Excellent. He will be a great test subject for the Winter Solider program. And to test out Vibranium limbs." A cold voice spoke, revealing to be Barron Zemo!
"Now then! Give him an arm. I want to see this prosses." Zemo demands as his scientists get to work, as they start modeling his arm.
While the scouts strap him onto a table...
Months go by as Bucky was implanted with the Vibranium arm and put though hell with training by Zemo.
He was ruthlessly trained by Zemo being beaten relentlessly and teaching to be more aggressive and brutal, eventually becoming, The Winter Solider!
Fitted with his black vest, pants, eye mask and face covering.
Soon another scout came by.
"Sir, we have reports that Red Skull is dead. Along with his base being destroyed and the Cosmic Cube being lost."
"Son of a-! What of the... Captain America?" Zemo asks.
"Reports say he crashed a plan into a frozen ocean. They can't find him."
"Hmm. Any other Hydra bases in use?"
"No sir! We are the last of Hydra."
"Damn it... However. Maybe we can use this to our advantage. Make them the world believe Hydra is gone. Then we can go undercover and bring America to their knees before us..."
"Activate the freezing pods. Hydra will be able to live on so long as we make sure we survive." Zemo demands
"Uhh. Yes Zemo! We should have enough for all of us and The Winter Solider."
"Excellent. Hydra will live on into the future!"
The hydra soldiers, Zemo, and Bucky are all in pods as they freeze over and remain frozen until 2015...
The freezing pods open up as Zemo, Bucky, and the other hydra men step out of them.
"Men... It's time."
