Leo's interview, unedited: I do miss my family sometimes. On Sundays we also do a family thing and every Sunday I wonder what they're doing. Probably not going to the park with the giant slide, since I'm the one who liked that most.
Kallik's interview, unedited: I got a fungus. That's nasty. It's just one of those itchy ones you get from non-sterile showers usually, though. The medics gave me some cream. We're all using it, since most of us have it. Octavia says she doesn't but I think she does.

For once, I was reasonably confident that it wasn't me. Of course that made me nervous that it actually was me this time, but only a little. Eventually our alliance was going to turn on itself, but we had a few more targets first. I had faith that when the infighting did start, I wouldn't be the first anyway. Octavia's reason for winning was too important for her to want me to win, but she'd hold on as long as she could, and Val was nice enough to work with her. So this time I wasn't nervous… mostly.
"The endurance challenge always shows who wants it most. Yarrow, you must be feeling the heat?" Isabella asked.
"I mean, they voted for me last time. Doesn't take a genius," Yarrow confirmed.
"So, the rest of you, did this put a wrench in your plans?" Isabella went on.
"We weren't, like, dead-set on Yarrow, or everyone would have voted for her," Val said. "We'll just have to see what everyone decides." I noticed Octavia was giving him the hairy eyeball. Luckily it seemed there was enough of a majority without him, but we were all wondering if he would go rogue.
"I think there's a consensus," Octavia said, still looking at Val.
"Maybe someone has other ideas. You never know," Val said innocently.
"Sounds like we might see a big move tonight," Isabella said with a foxy little smile. She didn't have to make me nervous like that. You never knew when a secret sub-alliance might form and change everything. Even if it did, though, I was pretty sure I didn't have any enemies. If it wasn't who I thought it was this week, my money would be on Shep. He was stronger in challenges than I was, so he would probably get targeted. It was weird to think one of us here was fated to be the winner. There was no one I'd be mad about. From the start I'd felt really lucky about how everyone who got picked to come here was really nice.
"Yarrow has immunity and cannot be eliminated," Isabella had to remind us. "If anyone else has a secret immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time."
Everyone made their votes quickly- even Val, Octavia was relieved to see. Isabella gathered up the urn and took her place behind the podium. I couldn't help but notice that Kallik had the tiniest little smile.
"First vote: Kallik," Isabella read. Kallik gave a wry little nod.
"Kallik. That's two votes Kallik, five votes left."
"Kallik. That's three votes Kallik, four votes left." One more vote would do it.
Isabella turned the paper around. "'I couldn't do it! Love wins! Leo,'" She read. Everyone burst out laughing. Even Octavia smiled with pretend anger. Val gave Kallik a sultry wink.
"True love," Kallik joked. Isabella laid a hand over her heart and opened another vote. "Eighteenth elimination and sixth member of the jury: Kallik."
Kallik sighed. She turned to Val, who was sitting beside her, and pecked him on the cheek. We all hooted as he reverently laid a hand on the spot. Kallik swooped up a torch and held it out to Isabella, still smiling.
"Been fun," she said with a friendly wave, and then she was gone.
Kallik's final interview: I have zero complaints. What a blast! I had so much fun, I made so many friends, and I have a ton of money to bring back home! I'm so excited to get home after this and start putting it to work.
Eighteenth eliminated: Kallik
It's been funny on my side watching Kallik. Willuna never voted, since she didn't want to read a different CR story until she was done with hers, so as not to get influenced. This entire time Kallik was winning by doing nothing. I'm really glad she got voted for here, despite liking her, because the voting pool was getting pretty small and her missing vote was making a bigger difference. So everyone wins: the others get to stay longer and Kallik is happy with her winnings anyway. This is such a fun happy Hunger Games story. I love it.
