"You have got to be kidding me," Tony muttered.
He had just gotten rid of the arc reactor in his chest, and now he had no suits that could function without it. Every one of his Iron Man armors was designed to run on the internal power source embedded in his body.
But J.A.R.V.I.S. had anticipated this.
"Sir, I took the liberty of designing an alternate suit with an external arc reactor. It can be attached to a back-mounted power core."
Tony's eyes lit up. "J.A.R.V.I.S., you beautiful piece of code. Get it prepped."
Moments later, a new suit stood before him in the lab. Sleek, matte-black plating with streaks of silver running along the arms and legs. Lighter, faster, designed purely for speed and maneuverability.
Tony stepped onto the platform as the suit assembled around him. As the final piece locked into place, the HUD flickered to life.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., track Killian. I'm bringing Amii home."
