Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair were sitting on a train together that was passing through the country side. Wednesday was sitting near the window wearing a black dress and had sunglasses on her face, while a happy looking Enid was wearing a pink dress while holding Wednesday's hand. As Enid glanced out the window she said, "Wow. It looks so bright and pretty in the country side this time of year." With a deadpan face, Wednesday said, "Indeed. It is quite unbearable." Then a smiling Enid laid her head down in Wednesday's lap and looked up at her as she said, "So... a little vacation where I finally get to meet your whole family. Is there any special reason why?" With a straight face, Wednesday said, "Because all the walls of the school are being painted this week, and staying with your parents is now an option unobtainable; so visiting mine was the only reasonable choice left." Then as Enid gently squeezed one of Wednesday's hands she said, "Well... whatever happens this week... I'm sure it's going to be special."

Later that day, Wednesday and Enid were walking together while holding hands as they walked down a sidewalk with many dead looking trees on it. As Enid put a yellow beret on her head, and yellow scarf around her neck, she said, "Brr. It's a little cold this morning." Wednesday then said, "A side effect from living so close to a major river and lake on windy days. It shall get warmer though in the afternoon as the wind dies down... unfortunately." Then the two girls reached a large gothic mansion as Wednesday took out a key. The door soon opened, and then suddenly Wednesday's father: Gomez jumped out the door with a fencing foil as he said, "Aha!" Then suddenly Wednesday's mother Morticia also appeared from the door with a fencing foil as well as she said, "It shall be me that dominates you today my darling!" Gomez and Morticia than ran around the front yard with their fencing foils, as Wednesday and Enid watched. Wednesday looked embarrassed, as a smiling Enid said, "Wow Wednesday. Your parents are a lot of fun."

Then Morticia hit Gomez lightly in the chest with the foil. A smiling Gomez threw his foil down and said, "Oh my disgusting darling. You've taken my heart again." Gomez and Morticia then embraced and started to kiss. Then Wednesday purposefully coughed loudly, causing her parents to turn and look at her. Gomez and Morticia both smiled greatly as Gomez said, "Look honey. Our horrific little daughter has come home and looks more mature and demented than ever." Then Morticia said, "But Wednesday. Why is your room-mate from Nevermore Academy here with you?" Wednesday looked slightly nervous as she said, "Well... you see... um... mother, father... Enid is..." A suddenly very excited looking Enid then jumped up while holding Wednesday's hand and said, "Me and Wednesday are dating!" Gomez and Morticia suddenly looked very shocked as they both said, "What!?"

In the living room of the Addams Family home: Wednesday and Enid sat on a couch together holding hands as they faced Gomez and Morticia sitting in two chairs facing them. The room was filled with objects that were all either black, white, or shades of grey; while several animal heads were stuck to the walls. Meanwhile Enid looked at Wednesday's parents as she said in a sweet voice, "Mister and Mrs Addams, I just want to say I have so much respect for your daughter. Wednesday has been so sweet to me these last few months, and I know it's your up-bringing that turned her into the lovely and adoring woman she is now. So... thank you." Morticia looked a bit lost for words as she said, "Well... you're welcome I suppose. So, Wednesday... I see Enid's choice of fashion doesn't seem to have any negative affect on you anymore." With a deadpan face, Wednesday said, "I have grown tolerant now to most shades of pink and yellow." Gomez keeping a little smile, said, "Well that's nice. Umm... Wednesday, why don't you show Enid around while your mother and I talk." Wednesday and Enid then stood up and began to walk around the house.

Then once the girls were out of immediate sound range, Gomez and Morticia leaned towards each other as Gomez said, "So what do you think?" With an emotionless voice, Morticia said, "Well, Wednesday's new girlfriend certainly has a... twisted sense of beauty. Those colors though..." A nervous looking Gomez then said, "I know. I don't like how she's affecting our daughter. Wednesday used to be a child full of so much wonderful woe. But now we're being told that our daughter is showing signs of sincere sweetness." An upset looking Morticia put a hand to her chest as she said, "I was horrified when I heard that. This is worse than when Pugsley went through his phase of helping old ladies across the street. Oh Gomez, is this our punishment for sending Wednesday to schools full of people that don't share our dark beliefs?" Then Gomez said, "Now Morticia. We raised our children to be tolerant of people different than our family. I just never thought one of those different types of people would be... dating our daughter though."

Wednesday walked around her childhood bedroom as she admired her familiar room decorations. Surrounding Wednesday on the walls were spiders in cages, along with several headless dolls. Suddenly Wednesday's brother Pugsley walked into the room and said, "Hey sis." Wednesday turned to look at Pugsley, and with an emotionless face, she said, "Hello Pugsley. I must say I am impressed you haven't died since we began going to different schools." With a small smile, Pugsley said, "Well I finally found some new friends to protect me. I met them at this cool club in town called The Dynamite Dudes. We develop new kinds of explosives all the time. Last week we made a bomb that destroyed a twelve acre farm." Wednesday briefly raised her eyebrows as she said, "Well... I'm glad to hear you found a productive hobby that's kept you off the streets. Now then, I have a mission for you." Wednesday then handed Pugsley an envelope and said, "Go into town and buy all the objects in town on this list." A confused Pugsley then said, "How am I supposed to afford it?" Then Wednesday in a forceful said, "With your allowance money I forbade you to ever use until I said so. Now go. And don't tell mother and father of this mission, or I'll do you know what again." A nervous looking Pugsley took the envelope and ran out of the room.

Seconds later Enid walked into the room wearing pink pajamas as she said, "Hey Wednesday. Wow. Your bathroom is so huge, and I love how big the mirror is. Anyway, I was looking at pictures of your family in the hallway, and... why does Pugsley look older than you when you were very little, but then when you hit your teens years, he suddenly looked younger than you?" Wednesday made a small smile as she said, "When Pugsley has chosen not to get along with me in the past... lets just say someone forced anti-growth hormones into his system." Then Enid shrugged and said, "Okay. Well anyway, I just got this new nail polish. It feels so smooth on the fingernails. Wanna try it?" Wednesday sighed and said, "The amount of agony I'll feel from resisting will be worse than the affliction, so... proceed." With a very happy face, Enid said, "Oh boy. Looking at Wednesday, Gomez said, "Yes Wednesday. And we do as well." Then Wednesday said, "Good. Because I came to... apologize to you both... and admit I was wrong." A confused looking Morticia then said, "Wrong about what?" Keeping her straight face, Wednesday said, "When you both sent me to Nevermore Academy, I know it was to help me find new friends, find my place in the world, and potentially find the love of my life as you both did when you attended there. At the time, I told you two that I was never going to be like you both and that I hated you for sending me to the academy. However... during my multiple years at Nevermore Academy... I did make new friends, I did finally find my place in the world, and I finally found the love of my life... with Enid. I used to mock the two of you for the undying affection you showed one another, and saw no point in romance. But thanks to Enid... I now have an appreciation for it. So... I apologize for not believing in your judgment, and thank you for putting me on the path that has allowed me to finally understand the kind of love you both share, and can only wish that me and Enid one day become as passionately affectionate as you two are with one another."

Gomez and Morticia both looked surprised and shocked for a moment. But then eventually Gomez put on a smile and said, "We're happy for you too my horrific little girl." Morticia made a little smile as well while saying, "We are. It may not have happened the way we expected... but we're glad it did." Wednesday keeping her straight face said, "Very well. I must go now as this uncharacteristic appreciation I have shown you is making me extremely nauseous. I am going to take a walk by the lake outside now." Wednesday then walked out of the room as Gomez and Morticia sat silently. Gomez sighed and said, "I think deep down we always knew she was going to be the white sheep of the family." Morticia sighed and said, "Indeed. But I think deep down... I always knew she would end up with someone like Enid. When she was little: Wednesday did always stare longingly at those bright perky girl scouts walking down the street every day, as if she wished she could be one of them... right before we would send our lions to chase them off our property. However... she's happy now Gomez. She's about to be an adult and make a life for herself. She's not our miserable little girl anymore." Gomez nodded his head and said, "That she is my darling. But no matter what... we'll still always be there for her forever... especially since we already taught her how to conger our spirits back to the mortal plain post death."

In an area of the woods near a secluded lake, Wednesday was setting up several battery powered lights in the shape of candles, and place them in several trees. Suddenly Pugsley walked over to Wednesday from nearby holding a large bag as he said, "I got you what you wanted Wednesday." Pugsley then opened a bag filled with nearly a hundred brightly colored stuffed animals." Wednesday glanced in and said, "Perfect. Place all these toys around the perimeter of this clearing." A confused looking Pugsley then said, "But... why? Wednesday, these is some weird looking stuff you made me get. Why would you want these sort of things?" With a straight face, Wednesday said, "These items are not for me. They're for Enid. Tonight is a very special night for us, and I want Enid to be surrounded by imagery that pleases her when I ask a very important question of her." A still confused Pugsley then said, "What kind of important question?" Wednesday then raised one eyebrow briefly and plainly said, "The kind that involves... unholy matrimony." A surprised Pugsley then said, "You mean... you two are gonna get married? But... that means..." Wednesday then put a hand on Pugsley's shoulder and said, "Pugsley. Even if I leave mother and father and begin a family of my own... you shall always be my brother." Pugsley sighed and said, "Yeah. But... before you pop the question to Enid... could you torture me in the electric chair just one more time... you know... like the good old days?" Wednesday made a little smirk and said, "That sounds like a fantastic idea."

Later that day, Enid was walking around the Addams Family house. As Enid saw a large stuffed tiger in one room she said, "Aww. How sweet. Wednesday's family loves cats too." Then suddenly Enid felt a tap on her shoulder. She quickly turned around but saw nothing. But upon hearing a tap on a table, Enid looked down and saw the living severed hand known as Thing sitting on a nearby table. Enid got on her knees to look at Thing as she smiled and said, "Oh, hey Thing! How you doing? We haven't hung out in so long. What have you been up to?" The living severed hand made many hand motions, as Enid watched. Then Enid's eyes widened as she said, "You got married to another severed hand! I'm so happy for you! But where did you two meet and how did you..." Then Thing waved its fingers around and began to make more hand motions. As Enid focused on the hand motions she said, "You want me to come see something, but be very quiet? Um... okay."

Wednesday sat in her bedroom typing on a type writer. As she spoke out loud what she was writing, Wednesday said, "Enid... you drive my heart to insanity and... No, that won't work. Hmm... Enid... you make me feel so dead and alive at the same time which... Ugggh. Perhaps... Enid... your quality of character lightens my soul to a new form of darkness which... Argh!" Then Enid crumpled up the paper she was typing on and threw it to the floor behind her. As the crumbled paper hit the floor, it rested near many other balls of paper. Wednesday lowered her head in frustration as she said, "I have written a collective two thousand pages of thoughtful intrigue in the last five years of my life. Why is it so hard to write one simple page to express my basic feelings?" Then from a crack in the door: Thing quietly went into room, grabbed a crumbled up ball of paper with two fingers, and then left. Thing then went into the hallway where Enid was and handed her the piece of paper. As Enid un-crumpled the piece of paper she said, "This... this is Wednesday's proposal to me. She must be planning to do it tonight. But... these are all multiple attempts to write it. She always stops mid-way because..." Then suddenly Pugsley appeared walking down the hallway. Enid then suddenly pushed Pugsley into a wall and said, "You. Tell me any secret stuff your sister is cooking up related to me." A scared looking Pugsley said, "I don't know anything." Then suddenly a determined looking Enid had one of her hands turn into a wolf claw with long sharp nails as she said, "Wanna try that again?" Pugsley then made a smile as he said, "You and my sister are more alike than you think." Then a determined Enid said, "Start talking kid!" Then a smiling Pugsley took a golden ring out of his pocket as he said, "Well first off... you might wanna check out this little thing I swiped from my sister earlier..."

Wednesday was walking through the dark woods in the middle of the night wearing a white dress as she said, "Enid? Enid, are you out here? My brother said he saw you come this way. Enid, where are..." But then Wednesday stopped mid-sentence as many remote activated battery powered candles came on in the now well-lit clearing she was in. Wednesday then saw surrounding her in the trees were the many stuffed animals she had obtained recently... only now they were all hanging upside down by ropes with their heads cut off, and fake blood pouring out of their insides. Then Wednesday saw standing at the end of the clearing was Enid wearing a long black dress, as her face was covered by a black veil, and she was holding a bouquet of dead flowers in her hands. As Wednesday took in her surroundings around her, she covered her mouth with her hands folded, as her eyes began to water. Wednesday then lowered her hands showing she had a smile on her face, as she began to cry tears of happiness.

Then a smiling Enid approached Wednesday as she said, "I know you were trying to show me that you were willing to go far outside your comfort zone just for me tonight. And it makes me so happy knowing that. But I wanted to show that I am just as willing to go far outside my comfort zone for you too; because you Wednesday Addams... are worth doing anything for." Wednesday began to hold back more tears as Enid walked right up to her. Enid then dropped the bouquet of dead flowers to the ground and said, "I know finding the right words for your feelings are hard for you Wednesday. But that's okay... because your actions have said so much more. So that's why I'll be the one to say..." Then Enid got down on one knee, took a golden ring from her pocket, and then said, "Wednesday Addams... do you wanna get married?" Wednesday stood frozen as she looked at Enid for a moment... and then immediately pounced on top of Enid, pinned her arms to the ground forcefully, and then looked straight into her eyes and said, "...I do."
