A man wearing a raggedy white shirt and black pants was running through the woods as he was panting and sweating. Behind him: five angry men carrying torches and pitch forks came after him. The running man in a panicked state didn't see a large tree root in front of him, and he tripped on it. The five angry angry men with pitch forks came closer to the now scared man they chased as one of them said, "There's nowhere to run now Ethan." The scared man named Ethan then said, "Please. I didn't kill those children. You have to believe me. Besides; are not the days of accusing people of being witches behind us? Those days ended back in 1693." One of the angry men then said, "Indeed. But now it is the year of our Lord: 1703, and He has tasked us with hunting werewolves! Now die beast!" Then suddenly from the trees: an arrow appeared and hit the ground right in front of the angry men. Then sliding down a rope was a woman with long blonde hair in braids, and a loose white dress. The woman held out a bow and arrow as she said, "You've crossed over onto my property. Take one more step this way and it shall be your last." One of the angry men glared as he said, "Goody Addams... step away. This is mens' business."

Goody Addams kept her arrow pointed at the men as she said, "On my land, it's my business. So either come back with evidence from the sheriff... or leave. Take another step... and you know it shall be your last. You know there's a reason why no man has laid on a finger on me since my husband passed. Do you wish to test your luck today?" The angry men slowly stepped back, and then bitterly walked away. Goody then walked over to Ethan, as a relieved Ethan said, "Thank you. You have my eternal blessings ma'am." Goody then helped Ethan up as she said, "No thanks needed. Putting those bullies in their place is a regular exercise of mine. Men often think that a farm owned by a widowed woman gives them free reign to cross over onto my land." Ethan then looking a bit guilty said, "Oh. Well then I best be on my way." Goody then said, "Not at all. You look to be in need of food and a good bed to sleep on. Come. You shall be a guest in my home tonight Mister..." Ethan then made a little smile as he said, "It's Sinclair. My name is Ethan Sinclair."

That night inside of a log cabin: Goody Addams and Ethan Sinclair sat on opposite sides of a dinner table eating a stew. Ethan smiled as he said, "Your stew is delicious Ms. Addams. It has been so long since I tasted a wonderful meal prepared by a woman." Then Goody made a small smile as she said, "Well... it has been quite long since I have had a man to appreciate my cooking." Then as Ethan looked around the home he said, "I see many rooms in this home... yet you are alone. May I ask why?" Goody sighed and said, "My... husband was killed... accused of witchcraft during the days of the trials. Although even after the trials officially ended, my family was still constantly harassed. So I sent my two children to stay with their uncle and aunt out in the new west. When the hatred of this community finally dies down... I shall fetch my children and we shall live in the home their father built for them once again." Then a curious Ethan said, "Why did anyone think your husband was a witch?" Goody then held her hand over an unlit candle: and then fire instantly appeared. Ethan looked amazed, as Goody said, "My husband was not a witch... but I am." A startled Ethan said, "You... you are? Where did you..."

Goody sighed, and then said, "Relax. I am not a demon from hell. I am a mere human who has simply learned to harness forces most people cannot. Even then... there are few supernatural forces I can unleash. My mother was a true witch. I only learned some of her special abilities before she died. Sadly, I have very little in the art of the mystics I shall now be able to pass down to my heirs." Then a curious Ethan said, "What can you do?" Goody then said, "I have been able to restore insects and small animals back from death, along with being able to restore minor wounds myself and my children have endured... but I never successfully restored a human life from death. However... when I attempted to use the same technique on my husband... I failed. However his body was burned to death. It is quite possible my power cannot work on ashes."

Ethan sighed as he said, "I understand how it feels to lose a loved one. My wife and I were chained up as amusement spectacles, and she died of undernourishment and unhealthy living conditions." A confused Goody then said, "How so?" Then Ethan held out his hand: and suddenly wolf like claws emerged from his fingers. Goody's eyes widened, as Ethan said, "I come from a family of werewolves. At least my wife was a full werewolf. I have... issues going into my full werewolf form though. Yet, that didn't stop my entire family from being paraded in the traveling freak show. Fortunately I was able to finally escape that life with my two children. We were living a peaceful life with my late wife's parents outside of town... until two other children in town recently died. The circumstances of their death are vague, but because of claw marks found on their backs... myself and my children were accused of attacking them. My parents-in-law took my children away with them somewhere, while I led their would be attackers away. I... I do not know where my children are now... and thus, I have no place to go." Ethan looked down in sadness. Goody then took a deep breath and said, "It would be best if you remained here for some time. I have plenty of room, we could help protect each other if would-be attackers came for either of us... and I would appreciate the company." Ethan smiled as he said, "Well... I'd be happy to take you up on that offer Ms. Addams."

As the weeks passed: Ethan and Goody lived together as they would farm the land together and help one another survive. As the coldest month of the year came: Ethan and Goody were laying in their separate beds one night. Despite a fire going in the house, Goody was starting to shiver. Ethan than came over to Goody as he said, "Goody... you are shivering." As Goody shook, she said, "I shall survive." Then a sympathetic Ethan said, "But you shouldn't have to suffer if it isn't needed. Here..." Then Ethan lay next to Goody and hugged her. Ethan and Goody then embraced as they kissed one another. However as they kissed, their hands moved over each other's clothes, as they began to undress themselves. Goody tried to reach for a weapon, but several of the men grabbed her and restrained her tightly. Ethan had his hands turn into wolf claws. He attempted to slash several men, but too many tackled and overwhelmed him. A large fire pit surrounding a small tree was already set up, as Ethan was dragged to it. Ethan was tied to the tree, as one of the angry men said, "For serving the devil and murdering the innocent... I send you back to hell!" A fire was then lit near Ethan's feet, as Goody screamed, "NOOOO!" Fire began to burn around Ethan. A scared Ethan and Goody looked at each other, as Ethan said, "Goody... I love you." Then as tears appeared in Goody's eyes, she struggled to get free as she screamed, "NOOO! I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU!"

Then suddenly there was the sound of a monstrous scream. Everyone turned their heads, and saw standing on top of the tallest hill in the moonlight was a tall skinny creature with little hair, very large eyes, long claws, and fanged teeth. Then another man from the village ran over to the rest of the men and said, "That's it! A Hyde! I saw it attack one of the children in the village!" Then one of the angry men yelled, "Lets get it!" Then the angry men ran after the Hyde Monster, as the fire began to consume Ethan. One of the angry men looked at Ethan as he bitterly said, "You deserved to burn anyway." The men holding Goody then let her go as they left. Fire then began to consume Ethan's body as he screamed in pain. Goody immediately grabbed buckets of water and threw them at Ethan. Once most of the fire was gone, Goody untied Ethan and lay him on the ground. Most of Ethan's skin was burned, his facial features were hard to make out, and parts of his body were breaking apart. A crying Goody said, "Ethan... no. Don't leave me." Then Ethan opened what was left of his deformed mouth as he said, "Goody..." Then Ethan stopped moving. An angry Goody then looked up and screamed.

Then Goody put her hands over Ethan's body as she said, "Live! Come on you stupid powers! Make him live! Let him live! LET HIM LIVE! LIVE!" Then suddenly from the sky: lightning came down and struck Ethan. The flash from the lightning nearly blinded Goody as she closed her eyes. Then when Goody opened her eyes, she saw Ethan was not healed. However his eyes opened briefly, followed by his mouth as he said, "Goody... I will shall never leave you. One day I promise... our families shall be united. Until then, I shall be there for your children... and your children's children... always..." Then Ethan's eyes closed, and then his body began to slowly transform into pure ash. As Goody saw Ethan's body slowly turn into ash and fall like sand to the ground, she said, "NO! No, no, no. It wasn't supposed to work like this! No! NOOOOOO!" Then Goody began to cry and sob loudly. However as the last of Ethan's body turned to ash... the transformation stopped at his right hand. All that remained of Ethan now was his hand, and within seconds: all burn marks from that hand were gone. Goody then put her hands on the ground as she continued to sob. But then Goody felt Ethan's hand on it's own... touch her. Goody looked at Ethan's hand moving on it's own, and in astonishment she said, "Ethan?"

Present Day:

Wednesday Addams lay in a hospital bed holding two newborn girls in her arms. As Enid sat next to Wednesday, tears filled her eyes as she said, "Look at us Wednesday. We have two beautiful baby girls. And I can't believe the delivery was so smooth." Wednesday with a glaring look said, "Yes. It's a pity the delivery could not have been longer. The pain I experienced during childbirth... was exhilarating." Then from a nearby door: Wednesday's parents and brother walked in. Wednesday's father Gomez then said, "Ah! Mi amor! Our first grand-children!" Then Wednesday in a monotone voice said, "Hello mother, father, Pugsley." Then Wednesday's mother Morticia said, "Ah! And lets not forget the last member of our family." Then Morticia opened up a box she had; and from it - the sentient hand: Thing appeared, and jumped onto the bed. A smiling Enid said, "Oh, hey there Thing. It's great to see ya." Thing crawled over to Enid and held her hand gently.

As Thing held Enid's hand, a curious Morticia then said, "My. I've never seen Thing be so friendly to people outside of our family." Then a curious Wednesday said, "Yes. It is odd how Thing latched so closely to you upon your first meeting back at Nevermore Academy." Then Enid casually said, "I don't know. He just... always felt like family to me. So Thing; wanna meet our kids?" Thing then crawled over to Wednesday and Enid's children, and paused for a moment as it got close to them. Then Thing crawled up Wednesday's body and then gently rubbed the cheeks of the two babies with it's fingers. A smiling Morticia then said, "Look at how happy Thing is, seeing our two families now truly united upon the birth of these two beautiful children." Then Gomez said, "Yes. He also acted a lot like this when Wednesday and Pugsley were born too. And as I'm told, he was apparently a lot like this too when I was born as well." Wednesday raised one eyebrow as she said, "Indeed. Thing does seem to curiously be there for our family... always..." Then everyone watched as Thing continued to gently stroke the cheeks of Wednesday and Enid's two newborn children.
