Scene changes to Penelope's room in Ithaca

Penelope is weaving a shroud

"Oh, Gods, it's Penelope!" screamed Piper, excited.

"Wow, I don't think we've ever seen the actual Penelope in the flesh." said Jason.

"Just Dream Penelope, Siren Penelope and Voice Penelope." said Leo.

"You gave them names?" asked Thalia.

"Of course!"

"And you couldn't have chosen better ones?"

"I've chosen them on the spot! I'd like to see you try!"

I'm supposed to choose a suitor to wear the crown

"Oh, in 'Little Wolf' when Antinous threatened that he and his suitors would harm people if Penelope didn't choose someone to marry soon." said Annabeth.

"Yeah, I hate that guy!" said Leo.

"He is the worst." said Frank. "In fact, all of the suitors are terrible people."

"But it seems that Antinous just takes the cake." said Thalia.

I said I would choose as soon as I weave this shroud

"Uh, oh." said Annabeth.

"You spoiled it earlier!" shouted Grover.

"You owe me five golden drachmas." whispered Thalia.

"Dang it! I thought she could do it!" screetched Reyna.

"You don't know her as well as me."

They don't know

That every night

I unthread all the work I've done

"Yup, we know this already." said Leo.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know that this would show up!" said Annabeth.

Cause I'd rather lie

Than allow them to think they've won

"Oh, she believes that Odysseus is alive." said Clarisse.

"She doesn't believe it, she knows it." said Percy.

"It's so cute!" said Hazel.

"I know, I haven't cried this much since Titanic!" cried Piper.

"Wait, you watched that?" asked Jason.

"Isn't that eighteen plus?" asked Will.

"Shut up! I'm a daughter of Aphrodite, I had to watch it!" said Piper.

Though I never thought I would resort to this

Just know I'll be here

Penelope stands up

But I don't know how much longer I'll last

"There is only a limited amount of time, as the suitors mentioned." said Annabeth.

"And they are getting very impatient." said Clarisse.

Since we saw that storm

"That's the storm Odysseus unleashed when he opened the Wind Bag." said Will.

"Oh, we're going back to the Vengeance Saga in this one." said Nico.

And though it was so close to our kingdom

"He was on the coasts of Ithaca..." started Frank.

"... Before Poseidon showed up." said Hazel.

It was far from the norm

Unless

Oh, could it be some kind of sign

That my world is all about to change?

No one started laughing apart from Annabeth and Percy.

"What's so funny?" asked Grover.

"Tell us!" said Jason.

"It's just- so- funny!" said Percy, still chuckling, but he couldn't bring out the words by his laughter.

"B-Because- Penelope was all- 'who apart from my husband could make the Gods so angry?!'!" laughed Annabeth.

Some of the others began to chuckle as well but not as much as Percy and Annabeth. After the laughing was done, they resumed to reacting to the rest of the song.

Is it finally time for the challenge I arranged?

"Ooh, a challenge!" said Clarisse.

"Let's hope Annabeth doesn't spoil it for us." said Piper.

"Hey!" said Annabeth.

Penelope leaves her room and walks to the suitors

Though I never thought that it would come to this

Penelope reaches to the suitors

Just know I'll be here buying you time!

"She shall always be making as much time for Odysseus to return home as possible." said Hazel.

"It's a true love story." said Will. "Maybe even the best in Greek mythology."

"Actually it's 'Orpheus and Eurydice' but there probably isn't a musical exactly like EPIC but instead of it being The Odyssey, it's Orpheus and Eurydice, right?" asked Nico.

"Yeah." everyone agreed.

Suitors approach

Time is fleeting, it's running out

Time to be the man of the house

"'Man of the House'?" quoted Frank.

"Sounds like something I did when Stinky Gabe wasn't around, when I was a kid," said Percy. "Except also when he was around."

Oh! Buying you time

Time is fleeting, it's running out

Time to be the man of the house

Whoever can string my husband's old bow

And shoot through twelve axes cleanly

"Wait, there are holes in axes?" asked Leo.

"Yeah, did you not know?" asked Thalia.

"No!"

"How did you not? We have been around weaponry since we were kids... literally!" said Reyna.

"Yeah, but this was a shocker!"

"But how is this a challenge?" asked Will. "I get that it takes precision and accuracy, but our of 108, lots of them would be able to do this. They have been training for over twenty years for whatever challenge Penelope has ready."

"Well, I would tell you, but I don't want to spoil..." said Annabeth.

"Please! Just tell us!"

"Fine, but next song, and if it isn't there, I will tell you."

Will be the new king, sit down at the throne

And rule with me as his queen

Let the arrow fly

Once you know that your aim is true

Cause I'd rather die than grow old without the best of you

"She's talking about Odysseus, isn't she?" asked Nico.

"Yeah." replied Hazel.

"I still don't understand it..." said Will.

"It will make more sense soon." said Annabeth.

Though I never thought that these would be the lengths we'd go for love

I would not have it any other way

"She doesn't care! That's so sweet!" said Piper.

"She would do everything all over again just for Odysseus." said Clarisse.

"That's love!" said Frank.

"Would you do the same for me, Annabeth?" asked Percy.

"Duh!" replied Annabeth.

"Aww..." said Piper. "The Odysseus and Penelope of the century!"

And though I never thought that it would end like this

Just know, I'll be here

Penelope is back at her room

Waiting, waiting

"No! No! Stop it!" shouted Reyna.

"We're all going to start crying, aren't we?" asked Will.

"Yeah..." said Piper.

Penelope

Waiting, waiting

Some already started to tear up...

Penelope

Waiting, waiting

Even more began to cry.

Oh!

Now, everyone was crying...

Author's Note:

Ann - I'm sorry, I always use Greek Mythology for this, apart from when the Roman Demigods speak which I purposely make them confuse the Greek Gods for Roman but I can't think of anything else. Can you let me know so I can fix it?
