Several Weeks Ago... In Another Universe:

The dark figure with dark eyes known as Wednesday Addams looked at a town burning before her. As the Dark Wednesday stood on top of a hill looking down at the town - she saw buildings burning and heard people screaming; all the while Dark Wednesday stood completely still with a blank expression on her face. From nearby, a darker looking Enid walked towards Wednesday. Enid's hair was completely black, while nearly all color in her clothing and face was gone. The darkened Enid approached Dark Wednesday, and with desperation in her face - Dark Enid pleaded, "Please Wednesday. When is this going to end? You've caused so much destruction on so many worlds. It's... it's not right." Dark Wednesday turned her head to look at Dark Enid as she said, "The worlds we have been to are what is not right Enid. The alternate Wednesday's we've met; despite many of them sharing my personality - still exist in animated happy lands where despite how much violence ensued, no one seemed to die. My alternate selves needed to understand how cruel, unfair, and chaotic reality really is. Only through tragedy and adversity, will they be prepared and equipped in their days to come." A saddened Dark Enid said, "I understand the concept of tough love, but... Wednesday... this is going too far."

Dark Wednesday turned her back on the burning town as she said, "It doesn't matter. As the darkness in the corners of the multiverse grow, it increases my dark powers I've tapped into. And now... I can feel it. The next reality we shall travel to shall be the world where our children still live; happily in peace." A worried Dark Enid then said, "If they are living happily in peace, then don't disturb that Wednesday. Let them live the lives we wanted our daughters to experience." Dark Wednesday turned to look at Dark Enid as she angerly said, "No! Our children were naive and unprepared. However the children of the reality I am to soon visit... I will ensure they understand pain, misery, and true humility." A frightened Dark Enid then grabbed Dark Wednesday's arm as she said, "Please Wednesday! Don't hurt them!" Dark Wednesday used her dark black eyes to look directly at Enid's while saying, "I would never physically hurt our children in any reality Enid. However as for their mother... she has become soft... weak... And that softness; that weakness... must be eliminated."

The Present - The Main Universe:

Wednesday Addams sat with her hands tied behind her back, while also blind-folded, as she casually said, "If you believe holding me hostage is going to induce a state of terror within myself, you should be aware that being detained like this is how I prefer to spend my Saturday nights." Then Wednesday suddenly had her blind fold taken off, and then Wednesday suddenly realized she was in the living room of her home, and standing before her were her two daughters: Harmony and Ana, and her wife Enid who was holding a black cake. Enid, Harmony, and Ana all smiled as they happily yelled, "Happy birthday!" Wednesday's eyes widened in surprise as Harmony untied her arms. As Enid made a big smile, she said, "I know surprise parties aren't your thing Wens. So I decided a surprise kidnapping would be more your style." Wednesday with a grateful look in her eyes said, "Actually... that was very thoughtful."

Then a smiling Ana said, "So mother; how old are you now?" Wednesday gave a deadly glare at Ana as she said, "Old enough to take away your allowance and inheritance if you ever ask that again." Then a happy looking Enid said, "Anyway... if I could just get sentimental for a moment... Wednesday... When I first saw you dancing at the Raven back at Nevermore Academy, I remember being so amazed by how confidently you carried yourself, and just felt so thankful that I was your room-mate and friend. I just remember looking at the crowd as I saw your body sway; wishing I could thank you in a different way. Come on. 'Cause all of your time spent keeps us alive." A confused looking Wednesday then said, "Enid... what's going on?" Then a happy looking Harmony said, "Yeah. I mean I'm always saying to so many people: can't you see, can't you see... how your love's affecting our reality." Then a smiling Ana said, "Every time we're down, you can make it right." Then Enid, Harmony, and Ana with big smiles sang, "And that makes you larger than life!" Wednesday began to look horrified as she said, "Oh God. Don't tell me this is..."

Then suddenly 90's pop music began to play on a nearby speaker, while Enid, Harmony, and Ana all grabbed microphones as they began dance around and sang, "All you people can't you see, can't you see. How your love's affecting our reality. Every time we're down - you can make it right. And that makes you larger than life!" Wednesday gave a deadly glare to her family, and with a disappointed face she said, "Really?" A happy looking Enid continued to dance as she said, "Come on Wens. It was the girls' idea!" Wednesday continued to give a deadly glare as she said, "Really?" Then a somewhat guilty looking but still happy Enid said, "Well... it was my idea. But they liked it too. Come on. Lets dance babe!" Then Wednesday stood up and said, "I need to liven my spirits. I'll be taking a walk through the local cemetery if anyone needs me." As Wednesday began to walk away, a worried Ana said, "But mother. This is your birthday party!" Enid with a little smile, looked at her daughters while saying, "Your mother has never liked parties. How about you girls get some ice cream in town, while I take a walk with her." Harmony sighed, and then said, "Okay." Harmony and Ana then walked away, while Enid chased after Wednesday.

A few minutes later, Harmony and Ana were walking through the park together as an excited Ana said, "I am so getting peanut butter chocolate ice cream... with sprinkles... and syrup... and peanut butter cups... and extra chocolate swirls... and cookie crumbs... and maybe the entire shop." Then Harmony chuckled as she said, "Well, I'm going to get..." Then suddenly Harmony froze, as her head jerked upward and her eyes widened. Harmony fell to the ground as a worried Ana ran to her side. Then in Harmony's mind - she suddenly saw a scared a frightened Megan inside a dark cage, along with the image of Wednesday looking down on her. Harmony's face then suddenly looked normal as she sat up. A panicked Ana then said, "Are you okay Harmony?" Harmony took a deep breath, and then said, "Yeah. I... I think I just had... a vision. You know, like the kind mother says she sometimes gets." A curious Ana then said, "What did you see?" Then as Harmony slowly stood up, she said, "I think I saw Megan trapped in some sort of dark place... and mother was with her." A confused Ana then said, "How can that be? We just saw mother at home."

Then suddenly Harmony heard a cell phone in her pocket ring. Harmony picked up the phone as she said "Hello?" Harmony then heard an adult voice say, "Oh. Is this Mrs. Addams?" Then Harmony casually said, "You mean my mom? No. This is Harmony. Just borrowing my mother's phone. She doesn't like using it anyway." Then Harmony heard through the phone, the adult voice say, "Oh. Well Harmony, this is Megan's mom. Do you know where she is?" A confused Harmony then said, "No. Why? Is everything okay?" Then Harmony heard Megan's mother say, "Well Megan didn't come home last night, and I've already called the police about it. Since she's your girlfriend, I thought maybe she stayed over with you, or has at least called you." A worried Harmony froze for a moment, as terror went across her face. Harmony then quickly composed herself as she said "No. But I'll try looking for her, and call you if I find anything. My mothers are at the cemetery by the way if you're looking for them." Megan's mother sighed, and then said, "Okay. Thank you Harmony."

Harmony then hung up her phone, and looked at Ana with a very worried face as she said, "Megan is in danger." A confused Ana then said, "How do you know?" As Harmony looked more frustrated she said, "I don't know how. It's just... in my vision, she seemed really scared." Then Ana said, "But you said that you saw mother with her. So she must be okay then." Then the two girls heard an adult voice say, "Assuming anything positive will just 'happen' is your first mistake." Harmony and Ana turned their eyes and saw their mother Wednesday several feet away; the back of her head blocking the angle of the sun light coming towards them. A relieved Harmony said, "Oh thank God. Mother, do you know where Megan is?" Then as Harmony and Ana walked towards her, they suddenly realized that the Wednesday Addams they saw had completely dark eyes and slightly darker skin. Harmony and Ana suddenly looked very worried, as Ana said, "Wait. You aren't our mom." Then an angry Harmony said, "You have her, don't you? Where's Megan!?" Then the Dark Wednesday held out a spray bottle as she said, "Oh, you shall learn what's happened to her soon enough." Then Dark Wednesday sprayed a strange substance on Harmony and Ana. Within seconds, the spray caused Harmony and Ana to lose consciousness, and they fell to the ground knocked out. Dark Wednesday then raised an eyebrow as she said, "Step 2 is now complete."

Wednesday and Enid were walking by the edge of a cemetery together, as Enid said, "Come on Wens. I know there's secretly a fun party girl inside of you. Why won't you ever let loose with our girls?" Wednesday had a glare in her eyes as she said, "Our children must always see me composed, collected, and in full control of my faculties. I must never..."Then the two women heard Megan's mother yell, "Mrs and Mrs Addams!" Wednesday and Enid turned their heads and saw Megan's mother running towards them. Wednesday gave a nod with her head briefly and said, "Ma'am. How can we help you?" Megan's mother looked very worried as she said, "Megan has been missing over a day now. My husband has been driving and looking outside of town while I've stayed around here. Have you seen or heard anything?" A worried Enid then said, "No, we haven't." Wednesday looked at Megan's mother as she said, "Well then perhaps we should start by..." Then suddenly Wednesday's body froze and her head jerked up.

Wednesday then fell to the ground as a vision went past her eyes. The vision included seeing herself standing in front of a world burning, followed by herself standing in front of a frightened Megan, and then saw herself dragging the knocked out bodies of her daughters. Wednesday then sat up with wide eyes, as a worried Enid said, "Are you okay Wens?" As Wednesday felt disoriented she said, "I am unsure. Usually when I have visions, they are of others. However the vision I had... was of myself... only it wasn't myself. And now... I believe my vision has blurred with reality... because I see three tombstones with Megan and our daughters names on them." Enid then turned her head and saw tombstones sitting nearby that had Megan, Harmony, and Ana's names on them. A wide eyed and worried Enid said, "Wednesday, you're not still having a vision. I'm seeing it too." Megan's mother looked very angry as she said, "What... what kind of sicko would do this!?" Then the two heard a voice just like Enid's say, "My wife's."

Then the three women turned their heads and saw a woman who looked just like Enid but with completely dark hair walking towards them. Megan's mother looked confused as she said, "Who is that? Your twin sister?" Enid looked a bit puzzled as she said, "Not one I know of." The darker Enid then stood before the three women as she said, "Hello. My name is Enid Sinclair Addams... or rather... I'm the Enid Sinclair Addams of another reality." Wednesday raised one eyebrow as she said, "Yes. I am aware of the concept of the multiverse. My wife and I have had past experiences dealing with travelers from another world before." Dark Enid nodded her head, and said, "Me and my wife did too... and that's why she's come here... to take all of your children." Then Megan's mother looked panicked and confused as she said, "Wait. Are you telling me some freaking evil version of your wife is on this world and has my daughter?" A confused Enid then said, "Why? What's going on?"

In a dark cave, Harmony and Ana slowly woke up. As they opened their eyes and looked at their surroundings, they saw three of the four walls surrounding them were stone cave walls, while the other was a large glass wall. Standing on the other side of the glass, was Dark Wednesday - who was glaring intently at the two girls. A confused Ana then said, "What is this place!? And who you are? Why do you look like our mother?" As Dark Wednesday remained perfectly still, using a deadpan voice she spoke through a microphone and speaker attached to the dark cave walls near Harmony and Ana. The two girls stood fearful as Dark Wednesday said, "I am your mother... but fully formed. As for this location... it's a place where you will finally learn the greatest lessons your mother never taught you."

Then Dark Wednesday stood to the side, and showed across the room was another wall of glass; and behind it was a captive Megan. Megan banged on the glass wall calling out, but could not be heard. Harmony then yelled, "Megan!" Dark Wednesday raised one eyebrow as she said, "She cannot hear you. Only I can control whom you can speak here." An angry Ana then yelled, "What do you want with us!? Are you here to kill our mother and replace her!?" Dark Wednesday rolled her eyes and said, "Please; copying the plot to a silly super hero movie is beneath me. I am simply here to educate you two. Once done, I will leave and you shall return to your parents." A very skeptical looking Harmony then said, "And what do you plan to educate us about?" Then Dark Wednesday took out a sword and pointed it at Megan as she said, "For starters... the realization at how easily you can lose anything and anyone that matters to you."

Wednesday, Enid, and Megan's mother stood before Dark Enid who had a saddened look in her eyes. Dark Enid looked down, sighed, and then said, "On my world... there was an incident that happened... a powerful evil creature was unleashed... and he took the lives of the Harmony, Ana, and Megan of my world right before me. My wife... my Wednesday... the event destroyed her inside. She blamed herself for what happened. Kept saying our children weren't strong enough and prepared enough. She claimed they had become too soft; just as she became too soft. So she's been traveling across the multiverse, bringing chaos and pain wherever she goes - believing that it will essentially toughen up her doppelgangers... and now she plans to do the same to your children." A confused Enid looked at Dark Enid while she said, "But how? What does she have in mind? Spank them? Hit them with a belt?" Dark Enid had a terrified look in her eyes as she said, "My wife... my darkened Wednesday... she's become... too dangerous... too unpredictable. Those tomb stones with those names you see there... my wife brought them with us as a sign; to essentially warn you of what could happen to your children. I've been staying by her side as she's traveled the multiverse; attempting to tame the beast so to speak... but I'm starting to believe she's beyond any help now."

In the dark cave: Dark Wednesday looked at Harmony and Ana as she said, "My children died because their minds were too simple; too carefree... always assuming everything would somehow just work out in their favor. Now you will have first hand experience at what losing someone you love feels like; at fully realize how powerless you really are. Only then will you be truly motivated to be stronger, more intelligent, and more prepared for all the cruelty life has in store for you." Then an upset Harmony said, "Look. We've dealt with evil creatures before. We've been scared for our lives before." Then Dark Wednesday angerly said, "And every time, it all eventually worked out; in part because of your mother who has taken her duty to protect you both too far. But now, things will not work out. Your mother will not come in and save the day." Then Dark Wednesday pointed her sword at Megan, causing Megan to back up in fear. Dark Wednesday glared at Harmony and Ana as she said, "Today... this girl will die... and only then, will you both reach your full potential."

Near the cemetery, Wednesday stepped towards Dark Enid as she said, "Where is your wife?" Dark Enid then said, "I don't know. But she can't be too far. In every universe, she's never far from home." Wednesday then turned to look at Enid and Megan's mother while saying, "In my vision I just had, I saw myself standing before Megan in a dark room. It may have been a cave. We must search all caves within a ten mile radius of this location immediately." Megan's mother looked angry as she said, "Oh, I'll start looking... right after I grab my gun from home so I can show that dark bitch I mean business!" Megan's mother quickly ran away, as Enid looked worried. Wednesday then looked at Enid as she said, "I'll take the West Park cave. You take the east." Wednesday then immediately ran off. Dark Enid then looked right at Enid as she said, "Mind if I come with you?" Enid looked a bit hesitant, but then said, "Well... okay."

Dark Wednesday stood in the cave as she looked at the helpless Harmony and Ana before her. Harmony banged the glass wall in front of her as she yelled, "Let Megan go! You can't do this! You will be stopped!" Dark Wednesday raised one eyebrow as she said, "The only reason your young love isn't dead yet is because like the principle behind Schrödinger's cat, I want you to live for just a little longer uncertain of how the final event shall play out. I want both your dread and hope to rise... only for your hope to be shattered; so that you will finally see the dreadful world for what it really is." Then Ana banged the glass wall and said, "Let us out of here!" Dark Wednesday sighed and pressed a button on a wall near her. The microphone and speaker turned off, and now Dark Wednesday could no longer hear Harmony and Ana's voices. Dark Wednesday then turned her back to the girls as she said, "Now then, considering one of my soon to be adversaries is myself... I expect her to reveal herself soon."

As Dark Wednesday walked away, an angry Harmony banged on the glass wall. Harmony then saw Megan standing behind the other glass wall across the cave. Both Harmony and Megan put their hands on the glass walls and looked at each other with sadness in their eyes. Harmony then saw Megan move her lips, and despite being unable to hear her words, Harmony was able to read Megan's lips and could tell she was saying the words: "I love you." Harmony nodded her head, and looked into Megan's eyes as she said, "I love you too." Then suddenly Harmony froze and jerked her head up. Harmony's eyes widened as she fell to the ground. Ana quickly got by Harmony's side and said, "Harmony!? Harmony!? Are you okay!?" After a moment, Harmony sat up and said, "Whoa. I had another vision... of... I think it was the future. But is that possible?" Then Ana said, "Mother did tell us once that she saw us before we born. So... what did you see?" As Harmony began to look frightened, she said, "I... I saw her dying." A worried Ana then said, "You mean Megan?" Harmony quickly turned her head. Then a more worried Ana said, "Then who?"

Enid and Dark Enid were walking through a field, as Enid said, "Come on. There's a cave not far from here the girls like to check out often." Dark Enid nodded her head as she said, "I know." Enid looked a little uncomfortable as she said, "Oh. Right... because you're me." Dark Enid nodded her head as she said, "Yeah. From what I can tell, we lived identical lives up to a few months ago." Enid continued to look uncomfortable, but then made a curious face as she said, "So... why did you stay by the side of your Wednesday for so long; despite all the terrible things she did." Dark Enid looked away slightly as she said, "I think that's easy to explain. Would you stay by the side of your Wednesday no matter what?" Enid sighed, nodded her head, and then said, "Yeah. I could never leave her. She's larger than life to me. Also... she needs me. I mean... she was a totally self-sufficient girl when I first met her... but sometimes I wonder if the love me and the girls gave her... somehow affected the ways she sees reality for the better."

Dark Enid looked directly at Enid as she said, "I'm still not completely certain of anything. Wednesday is such a strong woman. Maybe it's selfish to believe I was saying or doing anything that was affecting her. Maybe this whole time, she was just tricking me to believe I had any control in our relationship." Then Enid curiously asked, "But even if you did realize she was controlling you, up until recently... would that have changed how you felt about her?" Dark Enid tilted her her head down, and then calmly said, "No." Soon, Enid and Dark Enid entered a cave. The two women looked around as Enid said, "Ugh. They're not here." Then Dark Enid quickly said, "Wait. Years ago, Wednesday made a panic room of sorts in a cave west of the park." Enid suddenly looked upset as she said, "Your Wednesday must've taken the girls there. And my Wednesday obviously knew they'd be there." Dark Enid with a look of clarity on her face said, "Your Wednesday sent us looking around here to keep us out of the way so she could face my Wednesday all on her own!" Enid and Dark quickly left the cave, as Enid took out her cell phone while saying, "I'm calling Megan's mother. We can't let my wife save our girls alone!"

Wednesday stepped cautiously into a dark cave while holding a sword. Within seconds, she saw Megan standing behind one glass wall, and then saw Harmony and Ana standing behind another glass wall. As Wednesday put a hand on the glass wall separating herself from her children, Harmony and Ana banged on the glass and tried to speak. However their voices couldn't be heard. Suddenly Wednesday heard the voice of Dark Wednesday say, "I predicted within a thirty second interval when you'd show up." Wednesday then turned her head and saw Dark Wednesday stepping out of a dark corner while holding a sword identical to her own.

Wednesday then raised one eyebrow as she said, "Normally I'd be offended by another individual having the ability to predict my actions with such precision. However in your case, I'd be disappointed if you were unable to."

Dark Wednesday raised one of her eyebrows as she said, "And like you, I predicted that I would come armed... as I am now. You needn't fear though. I have no wish to harm your children."

As Wednesday began to walk closer to Dark Wednesday, she glared at her opponent while saying, "I cannot allow to harm Megan though. She has not done nothing to harm our children, and has no ill intents. She is an innocent."

With determination in her face, Dark Wednesday responded, "It's because that she's an innocent that she must be killed before your children. They need to experience trauma now at a young age to find their full potential. As of now, your children are weak. They're soft. Only once they see a tragic death that they couldn't have prevented will they train themselves to be better prepared for any and all eventualities."

Wednesday glared intently as she said, "We are not Gods. We do not get to decide who shall live and who shall die."

Dark Wednesday then loudly said, "Of course we're not! The thing that makes us exceptional is that we know we're not exceptional. We know that we were never born with great gifts, or some special destiny. Unlike most children, we knew we were insignificant. We had to train our mind and body beyond measure to be faster, stronger, and more prepared for anything that this chaotic and cruel world we reside in could throw our way. We learned from a young age that reality is unfair, unjust, chaotic, and cruel. So as we grew, we realized that the only way to cope with the never ending darkness of reality was to embrace the darkness and control it... before it could control us."

Then Wednesday said, "The world is indeed unfair, unjust, chaotic, and cruel. However you can control the darkness without letting it grow."

"Would you be the person you are today if you hadn't experienced the trauma of losing Nero? In that moment, your heart was broken. But in it's place, a stronger force was born. I am simply recreating that experience for your children. They will cry tonight... but eventually they shall be stronger. As you know well... never to suffer would never to have been blessed."

"There are other ways to be gain strength. You know change can happen through multiple paths."

"I will not change anymore. Before I lost my children... I was slowly becoming softer... weaker... I became so weak, I couldn't fore-see the events that would take my children from me."

"You don't need to change. You must merely... evolve. In response to that trauma that you yourself experienced, you have attempted to seek dominance. But rather you should have been attempting to seek acceptance."

"The only thing I will accept... is that you made me weak. Before my children died, I was you. Now I have become the force of nature you should have always been."

"You are attempting to commit an action that you know you wouldn't have considered doing before. You do realize your mind is slowly becoming insane, do you not?"

"We've always been insane Wednesday. It's just that we've often had long intervals of horrible sanity! But no more!"

-Dark Wednesday then lunged at Wednesday with a sword out. Wednesday blocked Dark Wednesday's hit with her own sword. The two identical women clashed with their swords back and forth; each woman making an identical type of swing, and each woman making an identical type of block. Each woman tried to push the other off their balance and towards a wall, but each woman was able to perfectly maintain their ground. The two women then stopped clashing to catch their breath, as Wednesday spoke first.

"You will not succeed. You know everything I am capable of, and yet I know everything you are capable of. Neither of us will make any progress against one another. You are mad to believe you can best yourself."

"Many have called us mad; but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is or is not the loftiest intelligence. However... there is one thing you have not considered... I will cross lines you no longer stand near."

-Dark Wednesday then pressed a button nearby, and the glass wall in front of Megan opened up. Dark Wednesday then began to swing her sword towards Megan. However Wednesday ran at full speed and pushed Dark Wednesday's sword away with her own. Wednesday then had Megan stand behind her, as she tried to continue combating Dark Wednesday. However as Wednesday turned her head for a second to check on Megan, Dark Wednesday used her sword to push Wednesday's sword out of her hand. Wednesday now stood without a weapon as Dark Wednesday pointed her sword at her. Wednesday then backed up towards a wall, as Megan stayed behind her. As Dark Wednesday moved very slowly towards Wednesday and Megan, Harmony and Ana stood behind the other glass wall banging at it as they watched. As Wednesday stood with no fear in her eyes, she looked directly at Dark Wednesday as she spoke.

"Was losing your children so traumatic that it caused you to not see the irony of what you'd do if you caused another parent to lose a child? Do you understand that years of love have been forgot in the hatred of a moment?"

"Do you not forget what you once were? Cold, calculating, focused, and unaffected by others. But then you went down a path that caused years of discipline and logic to be forgot... in the passion of a moment. Just as your own children are about to become stronger, you too shall finally come back to the darkness."

"You believe I ever left the darkness? You think I've become soft? Let me tell you something perhaps you stopped experiencing and forgot for some time ago, but I never did. I see darkness everywhere I go. Unlike most people, I can never turn away from or forget about all of the evils of humanity. All of the pride, greed, unethical lust, unnecessary hatred, unjust theft... they never leave my mind. Every day I see a world burning, and know there is nothing I can do to put the flames out. Every day, a part of me is resisting to simply go outside, because I know before the day is done - humanity will do just one more thing to make me wish I was no longer alive. So I embrace the darkness the world gives, just to help build up a tolerance to the chaos of reality itself. I can never open myself to any emotion, or allow myself to feel how much my heart hurts, or I'll scream. And I know I would, because every night I dream - I hear my inner self screaming every second I am subconscious. And every time I wake, I feel like I'm always just one step away from..."

-Wednesday then stopped speaking for a moment, as she looked like she was about to shed tears from her eyes. Dark Wednesday stopped moving for a moment, as she just stared at Wednesday's face. Megan meanwhile remained behind Wednesday looking scared. Harmony and Ana remained behind the glass wall, as they watched with worried faces. Then Wednesday composed herself, took a deep breath, and looked right into Dark Wednesday's eyes as she spoke.

"But the one thing that keeps me from screaming when I wake up... is that I would never become like those that harmed me. Never again would I hurt an innocent life that did no wrong. Never again! I promised myself I would die before I let that happen. So if you want to get to this girl... you'll have to kill me first... because I will protect her to my last dying breath. So go ahead... Do it... DO IT! You know more than anyone - that in the end, the only one that could truly lay a killing blow to me is myself. So... come on then. Take it! Take my life! You have it! You have it now!"

-Dark Wednesday stood still for a moment, and then moved the edge of her sword near Wednesday's neck. Both Wednesday and Dark Wednesday looked at the other straight in the eyes for a moment. Then after a very long moment... Dark Wednesday moved her sword slowly down as she tilted her head down and closed her eyes. Wednesday too tilted her own head down and closed her eyes.

Suddenly Enid, Dark Enid, and Megan's mother ran into the cave, as Dark Enid yelled, "Wednesday!" Dark Wednesday turned her head and lifted up her sword slightly as she said, "Enid?" Suddenly Megan's mother seeing Megan's face filled with fear, and seeing Dark Wednesday lifting up her sword - caused Megan's mother to panic as she yelled, "You're not hurting my child!" Then Megan's mother immediately took a gun out of her pocket and quickly pointed it at Dark Wednesday. Dark Enid noticed this and immediately tried to get in front of Megan's mother as she yelled, "No!" Megan's mother pulled the trigger, but in the very second the bullet fired out of her gun - a look of regret and horror went across the face of Megan's mother as she realized Dark Enid had suddenly moved in front of her. Then in that very same second... the bullet shot through Dark Enid's heart.

Dark Enid immediately fell to the ground, as Dark Wednesday dropped her sword; her face filled with shock. Megan's mother in the same moment dropped her gun and fell to her knees looking horrified at what she had done. Enid covered her mouth with her right hand as she gasped at the sight of what just happened. Wednesday meanwhile quickly pressed a button nearby, and the glass wall in front of Harmony and Ana opened. As this occurred though, Dark Wednesday ran to Dark Enid's side and immediately tried holding her up as she said, "Enid! Enid, speak to me." Meanwhile Harmony ran to Megan and hugged her, while Ana quickly hugged Wednesday. Enid meanwhile took out her phone and said, "I'm calling an ambulance." Then Wednesday looked at Enid as she said, "Don't... There is zero probability they will arrive in time." Megan's mother though remained on her knees, tears coming from her eyes, as she said, "I... I didn't mean to. I was just trying to protect my daughter."

Meanwhile Dark Wednesday held Dark Enid in her arms as she said, "Enid... please... I... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Dark Enid opened her eyes while blood began to pour out of a piercing wound from her heart. As Dark Enid looked at Dark Wednesday, she made a small smile while saying, "Howdy roomie. You know... we shouldn't have worked... but I am forever glad we did." As Dark Wednesday kept her eyes focused on Dark Enid she said, "I never meant to..." Then suddenly Dark Enid's eyes closed... and within a moment her body became motionless. A look of devastation went across Dark Wednesday's face as she hugged Dark Enid's body tightly for a moment. Then Dark Wednesday let go, kissed the forehead of Dark Enid's body, and then let it rest on the ground.

Everyone stayed where they were as they watched what was happening. Dark Wednesday's eyes began to be filled with sadness... but then in an instant they were filled with anger. Dark Wednesday then stood up and grabbed the gun that was on the floor, and then immediately pointed it at Megan's mother. Megan's mother sat in terror with tears her in eyes. Dark Wednesday breathed in and out heavily as she looked directly at Megan's mother. Then Dark Wednesday noticed from the corner of eye: Megan looked extremely scared and terrified. Dark Wednesday then looked straight at Megan's mother again as she continued to heavily breathe in and out... and then Dark Wednesday tossed the gun to the ground. Suddenly the darkness in Dark Wednesday's eyes disappeared as she said, "Never again." Then Dark Wednesday immediately walked out of the cave. Megan quickly ran over to her mother and hugged her, as Megan's mother began to cry. Meanwhile Enid simply held Wednesday's hand. Both Wednesday and Enid looked into each other's eyes; as Enid's face was filled with sadness... while Wednesday's face was filled with no emotion... except for a small degree of fear.

Several Weeks Later... In Another Universe:

Dark Wednesday stood in her childhood bedroom as she was packing her bags. Dark Wednesday's body was now looking slightly paler, while her bangs were now gone, and she was wearing a plain black dress with a white color. Dark Wednesday's mother Morticia walked into the room as she said, "Must you leave so soon Wednesday? Your father and I are more than welcome to have you stay longer with us." Dark Wednesday turned to look at her mother as she said, "Remaining here will not lead to my pursuit of growth mother. I have already made plans to start my new life. I am going to begin apartment hunting tomorrow morning, and have a job interview that afternoon, followed by a date I made on an internet match-making service in the evening. In addition, I have already gotten new part-time jobs involving dog-walking, babysitting, and working at a bakery... although the latter one may soon be ending." Morticia then cautiously said, "But Wednesday... do you not wish to spend more time mourning the loss of your wife and children with us?" Dark Wednesday then glared at her mother as she said, "I have no more need to do that under the roof of your mausoleum mother. Unlike with grandmother, I have been unable to contact Enid or our children beyond the grave... which would stand to reason that they have gone to 'the good place'... and that alone is enough to put my mind at ease. However I cannot remain here and sleep in my childhood coffin forever. Deep in the earth my love is lying... and I must weep alone. The child: Wednesday Addams would continue to mourn with her family. However I am 'Adult Wednesday Addams'... and it is time to begin a new life on my own."

Enid lay in her bed in just her pink underwear while asleep. Suddenly the sound of thunder outside caused Enid to wake up. Enid turned to the side, and looked confused as she wondered where Wednesday was. Then Enid turned her head and saw Wednesday (who was wearing just her black underwear) sitting on the edge of the roof that was right outside the nearby open window, as heavy rain came down on her. Enid then approached Wednesday and stood near the open window while saying, "Did your dreams lead to nightmares again?" With a deadpan face, and an emotionless tone, Wednesday said, "They always do." Enid made a little smile as she said, "You wanna come back to bed and have a little fun?" Wednesday didn't look at Enid, as she simply sat still and quiet. After a long moment of silence, Enid sighed and said, "You wanna talk about it?" Wednesday didn't respond as she continued to sit on the roof in silence as the heavy rain continued to pour onto her. Then Enid noticed something coming from Wednesday's eyes... and couldn't tell if it was rain water running past her eyes... or if it was tears. Then End stepped through the window, and got onto the roof next to Wednesday. Enid then sat in Wednesday's lap facing her... and then hugged her tightly. Wednesday simply remained frozen for a moment... but then hugged Enid back. The rain continued to pour down on them, as Wednesday and Enid continued to hug one another in a tight embrace, as the night continued.
