Once upon a time in a small town in fifteenth century Europe, all was peaceful. Until two young men threw two torches at a baker's shop causing it to immediately catch on fire. The two young men laughed and began to run away down a nearby alley. Suddenly a young man named Tyler jumped out of a corner with a sword out and stopped the two men in their tracks. With anger: Tyler said, "You Capulet fiends. How dare you attempt to burn down my father's establishment. You will pay." The two young men then smiled as they took out their own swords they carried and began to have a sword fight with Tyler. Tyler fought back against the two men heroically but was eventually caught off guard and pushed to the ground. One of the men then held a sword near Tyler's throat and said, "Any last words Montague scum?" Suddenly from a nearby window: a masked figure that was dressed in a baggy shirt and tight pants, jumped down on a rope which was tied to the window. The figure swung down and then kicked the two men to the ground. The figure then held out their own sword and in a low voice said, "Leave now!" The two men got up and ran away. Tyler then got up himself and smiled as he said, "Again I am in your debt... Enid." Then figure then took off their mask revealing them self to be a blonde teenage girl named Enid as she said, "You already have paid that debt every day you do not tell our family I run around regularly in men's clothes." Tyler then said, "Why would I? You are the greatest warrior we have at combating against the atrocious acts of the Capulet family. I'm sure if you told my brother and my father of all the good you've done, they'd accept your lifestyle choices." As Enid began to put her mask back on she said, "No. Better they just give thanks to the mysterious masked man that continues to support their family."
Inside of a castle, a princess named Wednesday sat in an elegant black dress as she looked out her window at the town that faced the castle. She looked down and saw a carriage being pulled away by a horse. Wednesday raised an eyebrow as she turned her head away from the window just as her father: King Gomez walk into the room. Wednesday kept a straight face as she said, "Did Prince Xavier finally give up and return to his neighboring kingdom?" King Gomez turned his head and said, "No. He is merely preparing for the ball tonight." Wednesday rolled her eyes, and then said, "How many times must I tell you father that I shall not marry that man." King Gomez then said, "You shall not marry him yet you mean. I have persuaded him to give you time to get your priorities straight. Wednesday... one of my responsibilities is ensuring that systems would put in place for you to be taken care of in case I was to pass away." Wednesday then stood up and kept an emotionless face as she said, "I am fully capable of taking care of myself." King Gomez glared at Wednesday as he said, "That is the thinking of an over confidant girl who doesn't understand what she's saying. Listen Wednesday. Keep your mind open and entertain my suggestions by going to the ball tonight and spend some time with Prince Xavier. Who knows? You may actually enjoy yourself." Wednesday sighed and said, "I'd rather gouge my eyes... but... if you insist... I shall go."
Enid sat in her bedroom in front of a mirror combing her neck length hair while wearing a white dress. Enid heard a knock on the door, and then said, "You may enter." Tyler then walked into the room and said, "My dear cousin. The Capulet's are holding a ball tonight. We must go." Enid raised an eyebrow as she said, "You wish for us to go to the ball hosted by our family's sworn enemies?" Tyler smirked as he said, "Not to their knowledge. We shall go in disguise. I shall wear fake facial hair, and you... well, you're so experienced at disguising yourself as a man. Sneaking in as one at this party should be no problem." Enid rolled her eyes as she said, "No thank you cousin. I'd rather patrol the streets like I do every night. Those upper class Capulet's believe they can bully so many commoner families every night. I will not stop my patrol for some party." Tyler then stepped closer to Enid and said, "But all of the Capulet's will be at this ball. It is the one night you are free from your vigilante obligations. Come cousin. You deserve to enjoy yourself every once in a while." Enid sighed and said, "Very well cousin. I shall attend the ball with you."
In a large palace ball room, countless men and women dressed in fancy clothing danced together, ate food, and socialized. From a nearby closet, Tyler walked into the ball room followed by Enid who was disguised as a young man wearing pants, a dress shirt, and a hat that held her hair inside of it. Suddenly a castle guard noticed Tyler and Enid and said, "You two. Who are you?" Tyler, a bit startled then said, "Oh. We're friends of the king's... nephew. Yes, that's it. My name is Mercutio Benvolio, and this is my cousin..." Enid then waved and said, "I'm... uh... Romeo. My name's Romeo." The guard nodded his head and let Tyler and Enid walk past him. As Enid looked at the ball happening around her she whispered, "You realize much of this food the Capulet's stole from hard working families. " Tyler nodded as he said, "I know cousin. All from hard working families except the Montague's who have always stood up against the Capulet's. I know our family history. But societal problems can be fixed another day. Tonight, lets enjoy ourselves." Enid sighed as both she and Tyler walked over to the buffet table.
Standing on a balcony that looked down at the ball room, Wednesday stood alone with a deadpan emotionless face. From nearby, a well dressed young prince named Xavier walked towards Wednesday as he said, "Princess Wednesday. May I have a dance with you?" Wednesday turned her head as she coldly said, "No, you may not." Xavier sighed and said, "My princess, you know I have no ill conceived notions towards you." Wednesday continued to show no emotion on her face, while with a disinterested tone she said, "Of that I am aware Prince Xavier. However I believe marriage is a false construct designed by males to dominate over and control women. So you'll understand why I must rebuke your advances." Xavier sighed, and then began to turn away from Wednesday as he said, "You will change your mind princess. Sooner rather than later." Xavier then walked out of sight from Wednesday's view. Wednesday then had a look of slight anger as she looked down at the ball.
Suddenly from nearby, Enid walked over to the balcony. Upon seeing Wednesday, Enid said, "Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't know anyone else was up here." Wednesday (who had her head hung low a bit) barely glanced at Enid as she said, "Well... welcome to the cold corner of this castle that embraces isolation." A curious Enid said, "You are the princess are you not? Wednesday Capulet?" Wednesday rolled her eyes as she said, "Yes, that is I. The child of royalty who everyone believes must have her meaningless life planned out for her." Enid then leaned on the balcony near Wednesday as she said, "You sound sad for a lady who lives in such luxury every day." Wednesday then suddenly began to look bitter as she said, "Luxury that I do not deserve. Let me tell you a secret I no longer wish to hide stranger. I often regularly disguise myself and sneak out of the palace. And do you know what I see? My father's kinsmen stealing from food, riches, and supplies from hard working families. It's sickening." A surprised Enid said, "You disapprove of your family's actions? Even their actions towards even the Montague's?" Wednesday nodded and said, "I do. And as for Montague's, I respect their family far more than my own. For they fight back against their would be oppressors." Enid then made a little smile as she said, "Well if that's how you feel..."
Enid then took off her hat and let her neck length blonde hair be uncovered. Enid then held out a hand as she said, "Good evening Princess. My name is Enid Montague." Wednesday's eyes widened as she said, "You... you were disguised as a man?" Enid who looked a bit embarrassed said, "Yeah... I know. Weird huh?" Wednesday then said, "Well... I must admit I cannot look down upon you. I too have disguised myself as a young man from time to time myself." Enid suddenly smiled as she said, "You do? Tell me. Do you prefer pants to dresses too?" Wednesday folded her arms as she said, "Only when traveling." A happy looking Enid said, "I know. Plus they're far more comfortable in the winter. Although I still like to wear dresses with families and at parties. But not the kind that show too much skin." Wednesday raised an eyebrow as she said, "Indeed. Objectifying my body for the gaze of men is truly the worst." Enid then said, "I know. I like long dresses. When I was a little girl, I liked to wear dresses that had flowers pinned to them." Wednesday raised an eyebrow as she said, "Interesting. I preferred to pin recently deceased bats to my dresses. They made me feel... quite at peace." Enid looked surprised for a moment as she said, "Wow. You know... you're weird as shit... but I like that." Wednesday looked slightly pleased as she said, "Indeed. So... would you look to see my favorite place in the castle?" A smiling Enid said, "Sure."
Some time later, Wednesday and Enid together stood on a balcony in another area of the palace looking out at the kingdom. Enid smiled as she said, "This view is amazing." Wednesday kept an emotionless face as she said, "And so is the wind. When it hits this exact high spot: it feels cold, unrelenting, violent, powerful... and beautiful." Enid then held her right hand out and smiled as she said, "Yeah. And also... this wind... it makes you wish you could just fly away too." Wednesday raised an eyebrow as she said, "Indeed. The ability to fly away from one's life is a fantasy I do dwell on from time to time. Only if I did fly away... I'd be alone." Enid made a little smile as she said, "Well if you ever did... I could come with you." Wednesday and Enid then turned their faces and then found themselves looking into the others' eyes. The two both blushed and then turned their heads away as Enid said, "Sorry if that seemed kind of weird." Wednesday tried to keep her composure as she said, "No. I... I find it fascinating I am somehow able to discuss any matters on my mind in your presence with such ease." Enid smiled as she said, "Thanks."
Suddenly the two heard King Gomez yell, "What's going on over there!?" A panicked Wednesday then had her hand touch Enid's arm while saying, "Quick. You must leave. If my father sees me with a Montague..." Enid smiled as she said, "Don't worry. I'll climb down that long vine over there." Wednesday then said, "Very well. It... it was nice to meet you Enid." Enid smirked as she said, "You too." Then as Enid prepared herself to climb down a long vine, a nervous Wednesday said, "Will I... ever see you again?" Enid gave Wednesday a warm smile... and then moved her face forward and kissed Wednesday's cheek. Wednesday began to blush bright red. Enid then moved her face away showing she was blushing a bit too as she said, "Count on it." Enid then grabbed onto a vine growing out of the castle wall and used it to quickly climb down. From nearby, King Gomez appeared and said, "Wednesday. I heard noise. Are you... Wait!? Is that the Montague girl!? In boy's clothing!? She sneaked into the party didn't she? How dare she!? Did she hurt you?" Wednesday, while putting a hand on her cheek, then said, "No."
The next night: Wednesday stood on the balcony of her room in the castle. Wednesday closed her eyes as she softly said to herself, "Enid." Suddenly Wednesday heard Enid's voice say, "How do you do, Princess?" Wednesday opened her eyes and saw Enid climbing onto her balcony from a rope she had. Wednesday looked surprised and said, "You have returned. There is so much I wish to say to you Enid. But I fear for your safety while here. My father knows you were present in his castle the other night and I fear his hatred for you grows." Enid smirked as she said, "Then how about we both get out of this castle for awhile?"
Enid and Wednesday were both wearing disguises to make themselves look like young men as they wandered through the small town at night together. They wore tight pants, baggy shirts and hoods to disguise their long hair. As they walked around Wednesday said, "At night, the darkness helps hide and dull all the bright colors in this town, making everything seem darker and hidden... which is the type of beauty I prefer." Enid smiled as she looked at Wednesday and said, "Well nothing is as beautiful as you." Wednesday suddenly blushed bright red as she looked uncertain of what to say. Suddenly the two heard the breaking of glass from nearby. Enid and Wednesday quickly moved towards the noise to see two young men breaking the windows of a house. As she watched what was going on Wednesday said, "I recognize them. Cousins of mine. I can recognize both them and their carriage. They are obviously taking food from that family there." Enid then looked at a wooden carriage nearby and said, "Then how about we take something of theirs?" Enid and Wednesday looked at each other and smirked. The two then jumped into carriage and Enid grabbed the reigns of the horse attached to the carriage. Enid then had the horse take off quickly. The two could hear the two young men nearby yelling, "Hey! That's our horse! That's our carriage!" An impressed Wednesday then said, "You are quite cunning and resourceful Enid. Your quick thinking and skills are as fascinating as your beauty." Enid glanced at Wednesday as she said, "You've been checking out my beauty?" Wednesday began to blush again as she said, "I... uh... Ahem. So, do you know of deserving families that could use the goods that we have liberated from this carriage?" Enid smiled as she said, "Indeed I do."
Months later, Wednesday was sitting down for dinner in the castle dining hall with her father: King Gomez, and her mother: Queen Morticia. As they ate, King Gomez said, "More of our goods keep getting taken by our men. How do they do it!?" Queen Morticia then said, "How is it that the Montague's accomplish these heists my love?" King Gomez then said, "It is not the Montague's. Rather it is some strange masked man that aids in their cause. No one knows for sure who he is but one of the guards did see a strange young man at the ball last month who fits the description of the masked man. The staff say he called himself Romeo. Oh, if I ever catch that Romeo, I will kill him for humiliating my family." Wednesday watched her father talk with anger in his voice while she had a look of concern.
Enid and Wednesday were both in their male outfit disguises standing on a rooftop in town together as Wednesday said, "Enid, my father's anger for you grows. He wishes to cause great harm to the Montague's and wishes to kill the so called masked man he calls Romeo." Enid smirked as she said, "He's upset because he's losing the respect of the people. Soon all of the families will unite against the Capulet's and they will be put in their place." Wednesday then said, "That they will Enid. But perhaps we should..." Enid suddenly heard the sound of a woman screaming. Enid looked down and saw a man cornering a woman in an alley. The man then said, "Come now woman. Many young Capulet men have been without pleasure that can only be brought to them by a woman for some time. They would love your company." Enid who had a rope attached to the roof, swung down and used her feet to kick the man away. Enid motioned to the nearby woman to run away. Enid stood over the man as she said, "Using the pleasures reserved for marriage to satisfy your own sick twisted desires is the lowest of crimes." The man then suddenly used his feet to trip Enid to the ground. As Enid got up, the man then took out a sword he had, and used the side of it hit Enid in the side of her chest. Some blood began to appear from Enid's chest, as the man said, "Time to meet your end." Suddenly Wednesday came swinging down on the rope and kicked the man to the ground. Wednesday then grabbed Enid's hand as she said, "Come on." Enid and Wednesday both began to run away quickly as the man got up and yelled, "Comrades! Come to me! Our enemies are getting away!"
Enid and Wednesday were running very quickly out of the town as they heard many men coming after them. Eventually Enid and Wednesday jumped into a nearby river and got under a bridge and quickly hid. The men chasing the two then quickly lost sight of them. Once the men were gone, Wednesday looked at Enid as she said, "Are you okay?" Enid then said, "I'm okay. Just a scratch." Wednesday then said, "Regardless, we should make sure you're completely fine. Come on." Wednesday then led Enid over to a small beach at the edge of the river. Wednesday then said, "Quickly. Take off your shirt. I must inspect your wound." Enid nodded and took off her shirt leaving only a bra to cover the top half of her body now. Wednesday then saw a small wound at the very right of Enid's chest. Wednesday then said, "It isn't that bad but we should cover it up. Here." Wednesday then took off her shirt (leaving herself with only a bra to cover the top half of her body now as well) and ripped the shirt up to turn it into a large bandage to wrap around Enid's body. Enid then sat back on the sand as she breathed heavily and said, "Okay. That took a lot out of me. Thank you for everything Wednesday. I... I thought I was done for." Wednesday then sat next to Enid as she said, "Enid... when you were attacked... I... I felt dread. I... I felt unsettled believing that I was about to lose my opportunity to tell you... that I... I.."
Enid interrupted Wednesday and said, "To tell me what?" Wednesday then hung her head low as she said, "Enid... I know it's strange for a woman to have these feelings for another but... whenever I think of you Enid... my heart beat quickens. When I know I shall see you soon, my excitement grows. When I am with you, I feel a sense of contentment I thought I never would. I... I believe that... I have fallen in love with you Enid." Wednesday and Enid looked right into the others' eyes silent for a moment. Enid then smiled as she said, "Every time I hear you speak it is like listening to a magical siren. You are like the full moon of my life; bringing me light to the darkest of nights. I don't care if we are both women. Wednesday... I am in love with you as well." Both Enid and Wednesday then suddenly had their faces meet and immediately they kissed. The two wrapped their arms around each other, and as they did: they fell back into the sand. After some time, the two's lips parted and then they just spent time looking into each other's eyes. Wednesday then said, "Enid. I have no desire to continue living the life of a Capulet. I wish to run away and begin a new life with you." Enid then said, "Well I wouldn't have you leave your family unless you had another to be with... or rather start one with." An astonished Wednesday then said, "Wait. Do you mean..." Enid smiled as she said, "Wednesday... will you marry me?"
Inside of a church, a young man dressed in a brown robe swept the floor. Suddenly the door to the church opened and Enid and Wednesday walked in both wearing dresses. A smiling Enid then said, "Hello Friar Eugene" A smiling Eugene turned to see Enid as he said, "Enid. My childhood friend. How are you on this fine day?" Still with a big smile on her face, Enid said, "Very much happy. Eugene, you have always been the most open minded and understanding of my friends. Which is why you are the first to know that... I have fallen in love with this fair woman you see beside me." A wide eyed Eugene looked at Wednesday as he said, "You have fallen in love with a Capulet? And a Capulet woman to say the least." Wednesday then said, "I am quite aware the type of love Enid speaks of seems strange and blasphemous. However..." Eugene then held a hand up and said, "No. No explanation is needed. I have prayed for so long that some kind of bond would one day come to reality that could bring the Montague and Capulet families together. And now... it is here. As a member of this establishment and as your friend my dear Enid, you have my blessing and approval."
A smiling Enid said, "Excellent. Then we have a favor to ask of you then. The two of us have spent many months growing close to one another and now... we wished to be married... as soon as possible." Eugene then said, "Hmm... I suppose I could arrange for a ceremony to be prepared early this evening. The other members of the church will grant me privacy to perform a private wedding. However I will need to create paperwork that recognizes that a wedding happened. Since I cannot use your real names, which false ones would you wish to use for the official documents?" Enid then said, "You can use my alter ego name of Romeo. As for Wednesday... she is the jewel of my life... so let her alternative name be: Juliet." Eugene smiled as he said, "Very well. The sanctuary shall be booked tonight for the private wedding ceremony of Romeo and Juliet."
A short time later, Enid sat in her bedroom in front of a mirror combing her hair while admiring the white dress she had on. Enid then heard a knock on the door and said, "Enter please." The door opened and Tyler stepped in. A confused looking Tyler said, "I received your message cousin. Why do you need me so urgently?" Enid then said, "Per church mandate and tradition, I need you tonight as a witness." A still confused Tyler said, "As witness for what?" Enid then said, "Tyler... you have always respected me and called me brilliant on more than one occasion." Tyler nodded his head and said, "That I have dear cousin," Then Enid said, "Then please be understanding and open minded when I tell you this. Tonight I plan to be married... to Princess Wednesday Capulet." A stunned looking Tyler said, "What!? You and her..." Enid then said, "I know it seems strange. But you know the tales of my alter ego's companion that has aided me in the last few months? That was her. Princess Wednesday is nothing like her family. She is strong, heroic, noble, and... I love her. I know the concept of two woman desiring to be wed to one another seems wrong, but..." Tyler then put his hands on Enid's shoulders as he said, "But I know you are never wrong. You are different... but are also the one person in this world I respect more than any other. I shall indeed be your witness for your wedding tonight dear cousin... and may I now say in advance: congratulations." Enid smiled as she hugged Tyler and said, "Thank for being so understanding Tyler."
In the early evening: in the sanctuary of a church, Enid and Wednesday both stood in front of each other in elegant dresses (Enid in white, and Wednesday in black). Eugene stood near them while Tyler stood some distance away. Eugene then held his hands up as he said, "May the heavens be happy with this holy act of marriage, so nothing unfortunate happens later to make us regret it." Enid smiled as she looked into Wednesday's eyes and said, "But whatever misfortunes occur, they can't ruin the joy I feel with one look into this women's eyes. All you have to do is join hands with me, and then love-destroying death can do whatever it pleases. It's enough for me if I can call her mine." Wednesday then looked into Enid's eyes and said, "If we are to lose everything we have in this instant, I will not regret one second of our time together. For every moment I look into your eyes, touch your skin, feel your very presence near me; I am completely content. Life is fleeting for all of us, and thus: I will cherish all of the time we have left in our lives with another." Eugene then said, "Sudden joys can have sudden endings. Therefore, love each other always as two married souls must. The future and what you two do with it is in your hands. But as of right now... I now pronounce you both married in holy matrimony. You may kiss your bride." Enid and Wednesday then immediately kissed as they wrapped their arms around each other.
Suddenly the door to the room burst open an angry King Gomez entered the room. Enid and Wednesday broke their kiss as they turned their heads to see King Gomez appear before them. Wednesday then said, "Father. How did..." King Gomez then took out a sword as he said, "My servants informed me they had spotted you sneaking into a room where a supposed secret wedding was being performed for a Romeo and Juliet. But now I see the blushing bride of this wedding is you... with another woman!?" Enid then took out her own sword as she said, "She is now my wife. And I shall defend her to the bitter end." King Gomez then said, "Wait. You hold a sword like an experienced man. And the supposed wedding was for a... Romeo? You... You are the masked figure that has caused nothing but trouble for my family!? I will kill you!" Gomez then slowly walked towards Enid as he said, "We shall duel this instant! If you live your life like a man, then face me like one now!" Suddenly Tyler jumped in front of King Gomez with his own sword out and clashed with the king's sword as he said, "I will not force my cousin to fight her newfound father-in-law. However I am more than happy to fight you myself." King Gomez then said, "So be it." King Gomez and Tyler then dueled against each other for several minutes as their blades consistently clashed at the other. Eventually King Gomez pushed Tyler off balance. Tyler fell to the ground as King Gomez then had his sword hit Tyler. Tyler screamed in pain as he felt the blade go through the side of his chest. An angry Enid then held out her own sword as she yelled, "NO!"
Enid then ran towards King Gomez with her own sword out. King Gomez then caught Enid off guard and knocked Enid's sword out of her hand with his own. King Gomez then pushed Enid against a wall with his sword near her throat. King Gomez then bitterly said, "Now... you die!" Suddenly King Gomez heard Wednesday yell, "NO!" Then King Gomez suddenly felt a sword pierce his back. He turned his head and saw Wednesday had stabbed him in the back with another sword. King Gomez then fell to the ground as he said, "Daughter... why..." Wednesday tried to stand with no emotion in her face... but tears began to escape her eyes as she said, "Because I couldn't let you kill her father. She's my wife. My one true love. And... I would do anything for her." As King Gomez looked up he said, "No. I'm sorry. My hatred was so deep it made... you feel compelled enough to attack your own family. I don't quite understand it all but I hope... you can forgive me. And thank you Wednesday... for this wonderfully painful death." King Gomez then closed his eyes as Wednesday began to look disturbed. Enid then sat near Wednesday and put an arm around her. Eugene and Tyler then walked over to the two as Eugene said, "Your father may be dead Wednesday, but rest easy knowing you have finally made peace with him." Enid then looked at Tyler as she said, "Cousin. You were stabbed..." Tyler then said, "I wasn't hurt that bad. I shall heal. Do not worry about me Enid. This is the night of your wedding. Please make the rest of it special." Enid and Wednesday then stood up as Wednesday said, "We shall try."
In Wednesday's bedroom, both Enid and Wednesday sneaked in through the window. As Wednesday began to light several candles in the room Enid said, "I am sorry again for the death of your father my love." Wednesday then said, "He was indeed a man full of anger. However he was also a man fascinated by gothic imagery and graveyards. He preferred pain to pleasure... so in a sense: his life ended the way he always wished." Enid then held Wednesday's hand as she said, "So... despite all that has just happened... do you feel prepared to consummate our marriage?" Wednesday raised an eyebrow, and then immediately embraced Enid. The two newlywed women began to kiss as they wrapped their arms around each other. As they continued to kiss, both teenage girls reached around the other and began to pull the others' dress off. Eventually both young woman were kissing the other in just their underwear. Eventually the two broke their kiss as Enid got behind Wednesday and began to kiss the back of Wednesday's neck. Wednesday moaned a bit as Enid fiddled with Wednesday's bra and then took it off. Enid then wrapped her hands around Wednesday's breasts while fondling them and squeezing them a bit. Wednesday moaned more. Then Wednesday turned around and pushed Enid on her bed. Wednesday then got on her knees and sat on top of Enid's legs. Enid smiled as she took off her own bra and threw it to the ground.
Wednesday smirked as she moved her head down and then began to lick and suck upon Enid's teenage breasts. Enid moaned as she felt Wednesday's tongue explore her upper body. Eventually Wednesday moved her head up and began to get onto her knees again. Wednesday then pulled her panties off and then slowly pulled Enid's panties off as well. The two young women were now completely naked. Wednesday then proceeded to lay on top of Enid. The two kissed again as Wednesday began to dig her fingers into Enid's blonde hair. Enid meanwhile moved her hands downward and began to squeeze at Wednesday's smooth butt cheeks. As Enid squeezed Wednesday's buttocks, Wednesday moaned a bit. Wednesday simply remained naked in bed looking out the window. Suddenly the door to Wednesday's bedroom opened and Wednesday's mother: Queen Morticia appeared. A startled Wednesday immediately covered her nakedness with a bed sheet as she said, "Mother? What is it?" Queen Morticia then said, "It's awful Wednesday. Your... your father has been murdered. Rumors say it was a Montague that did it." Wednesday then hung her head low as she said, "I... I know. Word reached me early." Queen Morticia then said, "I see you are as troubled as I am. Our family must be protected by a strong man now. Which is why you must marry Prince Xavier tonight." A startled Wednesday said, "What!? I do not need a man to protect me now. In fact I'm already..." Queen Morticia then said, "Enough daughter. It is not a suggestion. It is an order. You will thank me in time. But until then, you will be Prince Xavier' blushing bride. And there shall be guards posted near your door and window at all times until then. Don't think I don't know that you sneak out of here often to do heaven knows what. But no more!" A worried looking Wednesday then said, "I... Err. Very Well. Can you at least have the good Friar Eugene come here to visit me to help with my... wedding jitters." Queen Morticia sighed and then said, "Very well."
Wednesday who now fully clothed in her black dress paced back and forth in her room. From the doorway, Eugene entered as he said, "Dear princess. I've heard the news of what your mother has ordered." Wednesday looked at Eugene with panic in her face as she said, "Friar, I need a way out of this forced wedding my mother wishes for me... and even a way to get out of this family. You must aide me now." Eugene sighed and said, "Princess... you should know... I'm not the holiest of friars. For I dabble in art of the mystics." A startled Wednesday said, "You mean witch craft?" Eugene then said, "Not exactly. For I am the descendant of the once great magician Merlin who served King Arthur... and while I not have all of my great ancestor's spells and potions... I do have a few. One of his potions, I have actually already brought for you." Eugene then took out a small beaker of a strange pink liquid. As Eugene handed the beaker to Wednesday he said, "This potion will cause your body to sleep and simulate death for forty eight hours. You family will think you are dead and put you in the Capulet crypt. When you awake, you will sneak out of the crypt and be able to live the rest of your days with Enid in peace." Wednesday then looked at the beaker as she said, "And what of Enid?" Eugene then said, "I will inform Enid myself of this ruse so that word of your supposed death does not startle her. Now do what you must and I shall do likewise." Eugene then walked out of the room as Wednesday stood still looking at the potion in her hands.
Six hours later, Queen Morticia knocked on the door to Wednesday's bedroom as she said, "Daughter. It is time for you to be married. Daughter? Why do you not answer." Queen Morticia then opened the door to Wednesday's bedroom and suddenly had a look of horror on her face as she saw Wednesday laying motionless on the floor. Queen Morticia then ran over to Wednesday to check her pulse and then said, "No! Oh no! Not my own daughter. NO!"
Another six hours later, Eugene slowly walked out of the church in the evening as he looked around and then began to walk down a street. Suddenly two palace guards appeared before Eugene and stopped him. A startled Eugene said, "Yes sirs. Can I help you?" One of the palace guards then said, "Princess Wednesday is dead and you were one of the last people to speak to her before she passed. We would like to ask you some questions." Eugene then said, "I didn't kill her if that's what you're inferring." The guard then said, "Perhaps but it's still policy for us to detain any possible suspects for some time as we investigate the murder." A nervous looking Eugene said, "And how long would this investigation take." The guard then said, "A day and a half at least." A very nervous looking Eugene said, "Oh no."
In Enid's bedroom Enid was packing a bag as she said, "So long old life. Once I find a new home, I shall truly begin my new life with my love." Suddenly Tyler ran into the bedroom and said, "Dear cousin. I bring troubling news." Enid then said, "What is it?" Tyler then said, "Princess Wednesday... the word from the palace is... she's dead." Enid had a look of horror go across her face as she said, "What!? She... no... I... I have to see her. I... I need to see her!" Tyler then said, "Be strong and patient cousin. The Capulet family will kill you on sight if you approach her body. Her funeral will last twenty four hours. Your earliest chance to see her will be when she's placed in the Capulet crypt in a day and a half." Enid then hung her her head low as she said, "Then in a day and a half, I shall inspect her body to see if this news is true." Tyler then sighed and left the room. Then Enid fell onto her bed and began to sob loudly.
A day and a half later, Eugene walked out the front door of the palace with a guard. As Eugene stepped out he said, "Thank you for letting me leave without incident." The guard nodded and said, "Have a good day friar." The guard then walked away. Eugene then immediately began to run as he said, "I hope I haven't missed my opportunity to inform Enid."
In the Capulet Crypt which was underground, Wednesday lay on a stone bed motionless. From a nearby doorway, Enid entered and her face began to be filled with tears as she saw Wednesday. Enid felt for Wednesday's pulse a moment... and then fell to the ground devastated. Enid then said to herself, "It's true. My one true love is dead." Enid then stood up again and looked down at Wednesday. As Enid gazed upon Wednesday's face she said, "My wife. Death has taken you from me. For apparently it decided to love you more than I. But I refuse to let anything keep us separated." Enid then took out a beaker of green liquid from her pocket. As Enid starred at the liquid she said, "I came prepared in the event I discovered you had indeed passed my love. I refuse to be separated from you for one minute more. For what I have here is poison. Poison that shall kill me and ensure my body remains with yours in this tomb forever. And hopefully our spirits will meet in the reality that exists beyond death itself." Enid then immediately drank the poison. Enid suddenly began to feel dizzy as she said, "So I die with a kiss." Enid then kissed Wednesday briefly on the lips and then fell to the ground with her eyes already closed.
Then... suddenly Wednesday's eyes opened. Wednesday then got up and said, "Enid?" Wednesday then looked at Enid on the ground as she said, "No. My wife! What have you done!?" Suddenly Eugene entered into the room and saw Enid laying on the ground with Wednesday looking down upon her. An upset Eugene then said, "No. I was too late." An angry Wednesday looked at Eugene as she said, "Friar Eugene. You were supposed to..." A sad Eugene then said, "I know my princess. But the palace guards detained me thinking I had killed you. And because of that... your wife assumed you had indeed passed on." Wednesday looked devastated as she touched Enid's cheeks and said, "You said you had magic Friar. Is there any potion or spell you have that could bring her..." Eugene turned his head and said, "No. But it takes time for a body to completely die. I do have a potion that could preserve Enid's life in a sense. It's a potion created from one of Merlin's most powerful spells." A frantic looking Wednesday then said, "What kind of spell is it?" Eugene looked hesitant as he said, "It... it is a spell that causes one's soul to leave it's body and be reincarnated in the future; reborn if you will. It will allow that person to begin a new life in a future time where they shall have another chance to seek what they desired for in this life."
An astonished Wednesday then said, "So your potion will let my wife live again but in another time? Then... give it to her!" Eugene then held Enid's head in his hand and poured a strange blue potion into Enid's mouth. Enid's body then glowed for a moment and then her face looked pale. Eugene sighed and said, "It is done. Princess Wednesday, I... I am sorry for your loss. Words can not express how terrible I feel that this has happened. I wish there was more I could do for you." Wednesday then took a deep breath and said, "There is one more thing you can do to make up for your mistake. Let me drink the same potion you just gave Enid. If she is to be reincarnated in a future world one day, then I wish to be reincarnated alongside her. I will not let her live a second life without me by her side." Eugene looked a bit worried as he said, "Princess Wednesday... if you drink this... your life in this time period and this body shall end. You will lose all your memories of this life. Even if you are to stumble upon you wife in her reincarnated state in the future, you both may not share the feelings you once had in your past lives."
Wednesday looked at Eugene with complete determination as she said, "We shall find each other again, and we shall fall in love again. Even if this potion makes my mind forget all I have experienced with Enid... my soul will not." Eugene nodded as he handed Wednesday the strange blue potion. Wednesday immediately drank the potion, and then began to slowly fall down to the ground towards Enid as she said, "I will find you again my love. No matter how we are reincarnated, who we are, or what time period it is... I will find you." Wednesday fell next to Enid and then her face became pale and her body stopped moving. Eugene looked down at the women with sadness as he said, "I will share the story of your love with others dear maidens. But when I do, I shall use your alternate names to protect your identities. For even the story of a young man and woman who had to die under such circumstances is still as tragic. For generations, no one will know a story of more woe, than the tale of Juliet and her Romeo."
Wednesday slowly opened her eyes as she softly said, "I shall find you." Then Wednesday heard Enid yell, "OMG! You're awake! I was totally having a panic attack!" Then Wednesday slowly sat up and saw she was on the floor of her bedroom, with Enid sitting next to her. Wednesday and Enid's daughters: Harmony and Ana walked in as a happy Harmony said, "Mother, you're awake!" Then an excited Ana said, "Sweet! You're alive! Now you can make more money for a couple of more years, so my inheritance is even bigger!" Then Enid looked at her daughters as she said, "Call the ambulance and tell them your mother is okay now. Let me have a little time alone with her." Harmony and Ana then left the room, while Wednesday slowly got up and sat on the bed as she said, "How long was I out?" Enid sat next to Wednesday as she said, "About a half hour. You were having the typical symptoms you do when you usually have a vision. However: during your typical visions you're just out for a few seconds or a few minutes at most. This time we were starting to get really worried." Then as Wednesday looked slightly shaken up, she said, "Well... perhaps over-exerting myself these last weeks with my many responsibilities at Nevermore Academy caused me to simply fall asleep and have an usual dream... or perhaps I needed to be out that long to take in everything I saw." A curious Enid then said, "Well... whether or not it was just a dream or a vision... can you tell me what you saw? Was it a potential future... or something from the past?" Wednesday looked a bit uncertain as she said, "It was... the past... of an era completely forgot. It... it is difficult to explain it in words." Then Wednesday turned to look right at Enid as she said, "But what I do not find difficult to do right now... is this." Then Wednesday put her hands on the sides of Enid's head, and then immediately kissed her. A happy Enid then kissed Wednesday back, and both women began to embrace the other as their kiss lasted longer than any kiss they had ever experienced before in their lives.
