*Author's Note - Way back when I was just a few chapters into making this series, I had an idea on how I would want these stories of Wednesday and Enid to end one day. This chapter is based upon that idea. However, this is NOT the final chapter of this series. If I do ever end this series one day... I'm just going to have to find a way to top this tale...

July 15, 3023:

A teenage boy named Thursday Addams was running through a long corridor of a futuristic building. Alarms were sounding, as Thursday armed himself with an advanced laser weapon. Meanwhile in a nearby large vault: a teenage girl dressed in all grey clothing held out a dark jade stone with her left hand as she said, "Now... nothing can stop me! I call upon the forces of hell across time and space to return to me the one I seek!" Then suddenly a huge energy beam began to appear between the ceiling and floor before the girl. Thursday then entered the large vault... and saw the large energy beam coming from the ground. Thursday held up his laser weapon towards the teenage girl as he yelled, "Christina Gates, you will stop this at once!" The teenage girl: Christina made an evil smile as she said, "I couldn't stop this now if I wanted to! It took centuries for my family to re-create the Dark Jade Stone... but we finally found a way to bring a soul back not from the dead... but from the past. Now... I finally resurrect the Joseph Crackstone!"

Then in a bright life: the evil zombie creature known as Joseph Crackstone appeared with a staff in his hand, and a glowing dark jade stone attached to the top of his staff. Joseph Crackstone looked confused as he said, "What is this? I was about to killed that annoying Addams girl, along with everyone else at that academy full of outcasts." The evil girl: Christina knelt down on one knee as she said, "I am your descendant, and this is the 31st century. My family spent centuries creating a dark magic stone that could bring people from the past just a moment before they were killed. The stone is now embedded in your staff, and it's magic abilities can give you the power of time travel." Joseph Crackstone made a smile as he said, "Excellent. Then I shall return back to that academy of outcasts and destroy them all... but before the meddling Addams girl arrived." Joseph Crackstone then began to wave his staff in a circle, while Christina stood close to him. Thursday ran towards the two with his laser out as he yelled, "Stop!" Then in a bright light... Joseph Crackstone and Christina disappeared. Thursday then got out a communications device and said, "Chief, I need an emergency time skimmer now!"

October 23, 2022:

In a bright light, Thursday Addams appeared... and his eyes widened at what he saw. Before him was Nevermore Academy completely destroyed. Thursday looked devastated as he said, "No... I was too late." Thursday then held a small computer pad in his hands as he said, "Please tell me this destruction happened before... Oh good. Enid Sinclair was on vacation when the academy was attacked, and many other outcasts escaped... and apparently Wednesday Addams now met Enid Sinclair at another branch of Nevermore. Although... if I know this... then that means Christina Gates knows as well."

In a dark warehouse, Joseph Crackstone stood and smiled as he said, "What a glorious night we experienced. So many outcasts killed, while others fled... no doubt, they shall all scatter and die off in their little pathetic corners of the globe." Meanwhile, Christina sat nearby as she looked at her computer pad while saying, "Are you freaking kidding me!? Minimal changes to the timeline!? Wednesday Addams and her future wife: Enid Sinclair now meet at the thriving branch of Nevermore... and now Wednesday Addams has freaking super powers she never had in any previous timeline!?" An angry Crackstone then yelled, "The outcast community grows once more!? Addams becomes an even greater nuisance!? Take me to her! I shall end her and all outcasts now!" Christina sighed, and then held her computer pad in front of Joseph Crackstone as she said, "Well... here's a photo of Wednesday Addams in the near future that has a date mark. If we go to approximately this time period in the near future, you should find her." Joseph Crackstone then waved his staff around, and instantly: he and Christina disappeared.

July 23, 2023:

Joseph Crackstone stood in the middle of an amusement park, and then held up his magic staff. From the staff, a red beam appeared which hit a nearby car destroying it. People immediately ran away in fear. Then Joseph Crackstone turned his head and saw Wednesday and Enid running towards him. Crackstone smiled as he said, "Finally." A confused looking Wednesday then said, "Who are you?" Joseph Crackstone then said, "I am Joseph Crackstone! Destroyer of all outcasts... and I am here for you Wednesday Addams! I thought destroying the original Nevermore Academy would scatter all outcasts, disrupt your destiny, and your union with your future mate. Yet, events as they were in the original timeline are still occurring, and the outcast community still is strong! So now, I shall..." Then suddenly a laser blast was fired at Joseph Crackstone. Wednesday and Enid turned their heads, and then everyone saw Thursday holding an advanced looking laser weapon as he said, "You're coming with me, and going back to your time now Crackstone!" Joseph Crackstone then used his staff to hit a giant flag pole. The flag then fell down towards several civilians. Wednesday and Enid quickly pulled the civilians away; but then upon trying to look for him: everyone realized Joseph Crackstone had disappeared.

Thursday then walked over to Wednesday and Enid as he said, "Are you two okay?" Enid nodded her head as she said, "Yes, we are. But... who was that guy?" Thursday then quickly said, "That was Joseph Crackstone. A resurrected evil man from the past who desires to kill all outcasts." Then Wednesday looked directly at Thursday as she said, "And who are you?" Thursday took a deep breath... and then said, "My name is Thursday Addams. I'm a time traveler from the 31st century... and I'm your descendant; although not by blood, as my ancestor was adopted by your daughter Harmony Addams, and her wife Megan." A confused Wednesday then said, "I don't understand." The teenage boy: Thursday then said, "I wouldn't expect you to understand. An evil time traveler has changed your past, and completely messed up the timeline. This isn't the way things should be... and my mission is to set things back to the way they should. Now come on. Crackstone didn't run away. He's probably just trying to find an ideal hidden spot to attack us from."

Wednesday, Enid, and Thursday all quickly began to run away from the amusement park as a confused Enid said "Wait. You're from the future!? Just... what the heck is going on here!?" As the three moved quickly, Thursday only glanced at the teenage girls as he said, "Okay. Long story short. Joseph Crackstone is an evil guy from the past who hates all outcasts. In the original timeline I know: Wednesday Addams killed him when he was first resurrected. His descendants were ticked off, so they brought him back to life again with freaky evil magic time time travel powers. He used his new powers to go back in time and destroy the original Nevermore Academy thinking that would mess up the destiny of all outcasts, but it didn't go according to plan; which has greatly angered him. Now we have to stop him."

As she walked briskly, Wednesday kept calm as she said, "And how can that be accomplished?" Thursday glanced at Wednesday as he said, "Joseph Crackstone's magic staff is what keeps him where he is in the space time continuum. Destroy Crackstone with his staff, and everything he's done since he was resurrected will be undone, and the timeline will go back to normal." Enid looked a bit overwhelmed as she said, "Okay. But... how do we get that staff out of his hands?" Thursday then quickly said, "All you need to do is to just get him to let go of the staff for a second. The Dark Jade Stone may be attracted to his hate... but it's more attracted to love. Whoever has the strongest feelings of love nearby will have the staff drawn to them instantly like a magnet, and then they can finish off Crackstone!"

Suddenly Joseph Crackstone stepped out a nearby alley, and made an evil smile as he said, "Sentimental fool! No silly loving emotions can triumph over my hatred for all outcasts!" Joseph Crackstone then swung his staff at the three teenagers. Everyone dogged the attack... but Crackstone's staff broke a watch that Thursday was wearing. Thursday's body began to glow, as a concerned Enid said, "What's going on?" Thursday looked frustrated as he said, "He broke my time travel device. I'm being pulled out of this time period. Listen to me. Remember to get him to let go of the staff, and whoever has the strongest feelings of love will be able to instantly grab the staff and destroy Crackstone!" Then suddenly in a bright flash, Thursday disappeared. As Crackstone was blinded for a brief moment, Wednesday and Enid quickly ran away quickly and hid in a nearby building. As the two teenage girls laid low, an angry Joseph Crackstone looked around as he yelled, "You filthy outcasts! Show yourselves!" Joseph Crackstone then walked away, as Wednesday remained calm and still... while Enid looked terrified.

Some time later: Wednesday and Enid were standing on a roof top looking down at the city, as the moon shined above them in the sky. As the two teenage girls looked out at the city, Enid said, "It's too bad we both lost all our special abilities in our last battle with Tyler. But... do you really think everything that boy said was true? Do... do you think he was from the future?" Wednesday kept a straight face as he said, "I have read history texts of Joseph Crackstone, and everything we saw of him aligns with historical fact. Also, the technology we saw my time traveling descendant use seemed too advanced to be from anywhere but the future. In addition, I have read ancient texts about the fabled dark jade stone, and what it could do if reconstructed. So... yes, Enid... it would only benefit us to believe everything we have recently heard as fact."

Then as Enid began to look a bit more worried, she said, "But... if everything he said was true... and that a time traveling Joseph Crackstone destroyed the original Nevermore Academy a year ago... then that means... we're living in an alternate timeline. That means... we're not our true selves." Wednesday kept a straight face as she said, "Indeed. And once when get Crackstone's staff out of his hands and destroy him with it, all changes he made to the timeline will be erased... including everything we have experienced over the past year." Enid began to look more upset as she said, "But... what if I don't want to forget everything I've experienced over the past year?" Wednesday turned to look directly at Enid as she said, "Enid... if we do not destroy Joseph Crackstone as soon as possible, he will use his dark powers to destroy all outcasts and possibly cause more disruptions to the timeline. We should be grateful that his single minded anger towards me has kept him locked in this time period."

Sadness then began to enter Enid's eyes as she said, "But... we were told... that if Joseph Crackstone lets go of his staff... it will automatically go to the person that has the strongest feelings of love. So if we both face Crackstone together... then... that means... I'll probably be the one to hold the staff and destroy Crackstone with it." Wednesday had a deadpan face as she said, "That may indeed occur." A few tears appeared in Enid's eyes as she said, "But... if I destroy Joseph Crackstone... this timeline we're currently living in will be erased... and... and I'll forget everything I've recently experienced... including... how I feel about you Wednesday." Wednesday then turned her head to the side and looked out at the city as she said, "It's simply a necessary act that needs to be performed Enid."

Then Enid turned her head away and began to cry as she ran away down a set of nearby stairs. As Enid ran down the stairs, her tears began to increase as she softly said to herself, "Why would she say that? Does... does Wednesday not care about me? Has she never really cared about me?" Wednesday watched Enid run away with a blank expression on her face. Suddenly a weird gas surrounded Wednesday. Wednesday then rolled her eyes and said, "Oh. Knockout gas. Can you be anymore original?" Then quickly Wednesday lost consciousness and fell down. Then from nearby, Christina appeared and walked over towards Wednesday as she said, "Finally Wednesday Addams... you're mine!"

Wednesday slowly opened her eyes, and saw she was chained to a wall in an old clock tower. Wednesday then saw Christina standing before her with an evil smile. Wednesday looked mildly annoyed as she said, "So... are you going to do your evil villain speech now, or later?" Christina had a look of hatred in her eyes as she said, "Wednesday Addams... this may be the first time we've met... but you have no idea how many times I've tried to eliminate you." Wednesday raised one eyebrow as she said, "You're from the future, I assume... and the one that brought Joseph Crackstone back to life, if I continue to assume correctly." Christina had anger in her eyes as she yelled, "Joseph Crackstone was not evil! He was a visionary! He saw how perverted outcasts were, and tried to eliminate them long ago. His descendant in the 21st century: Laurel Gates tried to resurrect him and re-ignite his master plans... but then you stopped him... which eventually led to a domino effect that led to all outcasts slowly becoming more accepted into all of society. My family... even a thousand years later hates you for that."

Wednesday then kept a deadpan face as she said, "Based on the technology my descendant carried, I would assume you have the ability to time travel without dark magic as well. So... why haven't you eliminated me before?" Christina began to look even more furious as she said, "Because in your lifetime, you interact with my ancestors. If I interfered with your life history directly, I would interfere with my family's history and endanger my existence. So... like a careful time surgeon, I simply tried to eliminate you before you were born. The first time I traveled back in time, I prevented your maternal and paternal grandparents from meeting when history said they were supposed to... only to arrive back in the future and find out your grandparents wound up meeting their respective mates in different circumstances a decade later, and simply had their children just a little bit later than history originally recorded. So I tried interfering with your great-grandparents' meeting, and your great-great grandparents' meeting... and yet every time I returned to my time period, all of your ancestors were still conceived, as were you! Even when I finally just flat out killed one of your ancestors in the 1600's, your family tree simply just got some Latino heritage mixed in, and the rest of history just carried on the same. I even tried preventing your little friend Enid from being born... and yet no matter how many changes I made to the timeline, she was still born as well!"

Wednesday suddenly had a look of mild shock and surprise on her face as she said, "How many times have you changed the timeline?" Christina began to look even more angry as she yelled, "More than I can even remember now! Before my very first attempt, you and Enid Sinclair were living in an English village in the 1800's! But every time I tried to erase you both from the timeline, your birth and hers were merely delayed each instance. Before my second to last change to the timeline, your childhood occurred in the 1960's! And then right before my last change to the timeline, your preteen years occurred in the 1990's! But after delaying your teenage years to the 2020's, I knew I had to come up with a different approach. So I studied my family's ancient magic texts instead, and resurrected Joseph Crackstone. His methods of the time sword, shall be far more effective than the time scalpel. And now finally... I shall defeat fate itself!"

Then suddenly Enid ran in from a nearby doorway and yelled, "Defeat this!" Then Enid shoved a taser into Christina's back, shocking her a great deal... until she fell to the ground knocked out. Enid then began to free Wednesday from her chains, while an impressed looking Wednesday said, "Enid..." Enid made a little smile as she said, "That's the weakness of villains. They get so caught up in their monologues and their ambition, that they fail to see how easily they've opened themselves to attack. Although... I did hear most of what she said. And... is it true? Could she have really made tons of changes to the timeline?" As Wednesday looked down at the fallen Christina she said, "Perhaps. I have had occasional visions of what I thought were mere dreams; but now I realize must have been echoes of lives I had in previous timelines. However, this timeline we exist in now was created by evil magic, and is in flux... and thus, must be eliminated."

Then from a nearby doorway, Joseph Crackstone entered and yelled, "The only ones about to be eliminated are you two!" Joseph Crackstone then held out his staff, and shot red beams from it. Wednesday and Enid moved quickly avoiding the blasts. Both teenage girls tried to run up the stairs of the clock tower they were in. However Joseph Crackstone simply remained at the bottom of the clock tower shooting more beams at them. The beams from his staff then hit the large center of the clock tower, causing the numbers and hands of the large clock to begin falling. Wednesday and Enid moved quickly attempting to avoid the falling clock tower debris from hitting them.

Then Wednesday quickly got out several matches, lit them, and threw them around the clock tower. The tower began to burn, as a confused Enid said, "Wednesday, what are you doing!?" Wednesday then quickly said, "Trying to burn Crackstone, so he'll let go of the staff. Don't worry. Once we eliminate him, this timeline will be gone so it doesn't matter what is damaged and who is hurt." Enid began to look scared as she ran away trying to avoid the flames starting to surround her. An angry Joseph Crackstone then yelled, "Fire cannot stop me!" Then Wednesday looked at Crackstone while yelling, "And you Crackstone, will never hurt me!" Then as Joseph Crackstone focused on firing beams from his staff at Wednesday, Enid sneaked behind Crackstone. Enid then softly said to herself, "Wednesday's distracted him... so now... it's time to do what needs to be done..."

Enid then ran at Joseph Crackstone and rammed him in the back. Joseph Crackstone then let go of his staff, and in a split second: it felt like time froze. Enid closed her eyes in this slow split second as she said to herself, "Well... as the one with the strongest feelings of love... I suppose it's time for me to use the staff and end this." Then the magic staff began to move by itself in the air... and then quickly flew into the hands... of Wednesday. A very surprised Enid then yelled, "Wednesday!?" Wednesday kept a deadpan look on her face as she looked at Enid and said, "Well... I suppose this clearly prevents my ability of hiding my feelings towards you any longer." Enid then made a little smile, as tears came out of her eyes while saying, "Well... I'm glad." Meanwhile an angry Joseph Crackstone ran towards Wednesday and yelled, "No!" Then Wednesday pointed the staff at Joseph Crackstone as she said, "It's time to go back to your place in the proper timeline Joseph Crackstone. It's time to finally return to your destiny of going back to hell!" Then Wednesday fired an energy blast from the staff at Joseph Crackstone, causing him to instantly disappear.

Enid then walked over to Wednesday, as their surroundings around them began to blur. A confused looking Enid then said, "What's going on?" Wednesday then said, "Everything Joseph Crackstone did since he started time traveling is becoming undone. This timeline is about to be erased." Enid then looked disappointed as she said, "Oh." Then Wednesday approached Enid and held her hands as she said, "Listen Enid. Just because I won't remember the feelings I developed for you in this timeline... doesn't mean I can't experience them again." A scared looking Enid then said, "Do you really think so?" Then as everything around the two teenage girls began to disappear, Wednesday put both of her hands on the sides of Enid's head as she said, "Enid... no matter how many changes are made to the timeline or to the entire universe... I promise you... I will indeed feel this forever." Then Wednesday immediately kissed Enid. Both teenage girls embraced and kissed one another as they and all of reality around them began to disappear...

Wednesday's eyes opened as she immediately sat up in bed and caught her breath as she looked slightly distressed. Wednesday then stood up wearing just her underwear, and went over to a nearby window where she saw the sun slowly starting to rise on Nevermore Academy. Wednesday made a sigh of relief as she said, "Nevermore Academy is still standing. It was never destroyed." Then from a nearby bathroom, Enid appeared wearing just a set of pink underwear. Enid smiled as she said, "Good morning my beautiful wife. So... do you think we should spend our Saturday morning taking Harmony and Ana into town... or should we just put up the sound proof panels and have sex all day long?" Wednesday then looked at Enid with an unsettled look, as a concerned Enid said, "Whoa. Are you okay Wednesday? Did something happen?" Wednesday turned her head and said, "No. I... simply had a vision... or it may have just been a dream... of another life that never was now." Then Wednesday suddenly put both of her hands on the sides of Enid's head as she said, "But what I do know... is that right now... I want this." Then Wednesday immediately wrapped her arms around Enid and kissed her. A happy Enid then kissed Wednesday back.

Epilogue - July 15, 3023:

A teenage boy named Thursday Addams was running through a long corridor of a futuristic building. Alarms were sounding, as Thursday armed himself with an advanced laser weapon. Meanwhile in a nearby large vault: the teenage girl - Christina dressed in all grey clothing held out a dark jade stone with her left hand as she said, "Now... nothing can stop me! I call upon the forces of hell across time and space to return to me the one I..." Then suddenly a hand grabbed Christina's left arm. Christina turned her head... and saw Wednesday Addams standing before her and grabbing her arm. A confused and angry Christina then yelled, "You!? How can you be..." Then Wednesday used her hands to judo flip Christina to the ground. Christina then hit the ground knocked out, as Wednesday took the dark jade stone from her. Thursday then entered the room, and looked relieved as he said, "Phew. Thank you Wednesday Addams... for saving the day again."

Wednesday kept a deadpan look on her face as she said, "Gratitude is not necessary. While I do find some enjoyment every time one of my descendants temporarily resurrects me to stop whatever the biggest problem of the century is... I do prefer to rest in peace with my wife for all eternity." Thursday chuckled as he said, "Okay, I'll remember that. So... what's the afterlife like, anyway? Dark and gloomy?" Wednesday kept a straight face as she handed Thursday the dark jade stone while saying, "No. You're assuming my fate was to live in the underworld. Instead, my wife and I were sent to the good place. Apparently God thought it would be amusing to see me spend all my days surrounded by people joyful and at peace. It's been absolute pure torture... but experiencing it alongside my wife... has indeed been worth it..." Then in a bright light... Wednesday disappeared. Thursday made a little smile as he said, "Well... I promise we'll try our best not to call on you again. But know this Wednesday Addams... no matter happens... your legacy shall live on... forever..."
