Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair. They were a duo that shouldn't have worked... but they did... and somehow their relationship resulted in marriage. Now, Wednesday and Enid work at their old school: Nevermore Academy as teachers, raising up an entire new generation; including their own twin teenage daughters : Harmony and Ana. Harmony, who carries both of her mother's special abilities, continues to grow and explore the world with her girlfriend Megan, and her two good friends: Sophia (a siren), and Emmy (a vampire). Ana meanwhile... is a different story...
One evening at Nevermore Academy, Wednesday and Enid were preparing dinner in their large room. Soon: Harmony, Megan, and Megan's brother: Edward entered the room. An excited Edward then said, "Coooook! I like cooook!" Enid made a little smile as she said, "Well if you'd like to help us finish preparing dinner Edward, go ahead." Edward then rushed over the kitchen corner of the room, while Wednesday approached Megan and said, "How has Edward been doing the past week?" With a little smile, Megan said, "Well he loves being in any kitchen. He's doing really great at making food for people. It's just... everything else is still a bit hard for him. He's so used to his routine back home, so getting him to move along at a steady pace at the beginning and end of the day in our dorm has been rough." Then Enid moved closer to Megan as she said, "If it's too much trouble for you Megan, you don't have to be in the same dorm as him. The state can provide us an additional aide to help with him if we fill out the right paperwork." Megan turned her head as she said, "No. He's my brother, and I want to help him."
Then Sophia and Emmy walked into the dorm room holding hands as Sophia said, "What's up people!? Is everybody having a great day like we are?" As Sophia and Emmy proceeded to chat directly with Harmony and Megan, a smiling Enid glanced at Wednesday as she softly and happily said, "Aww. Look at them Wednesday. They're totally glowing. They're young and in love... just like we were around their age." Then Wednesday gave an angry glare at Enid. Enid sighed, and then quickly said, "Okay. Just like I was. At the beginning, you were still a high-functioning sociopath that chained me to the bed after we had sex. But aren't you happy for Emmy and Sophia?" Wednesday then looked directly at Sophia, sighed, moved her head down slightly, and then turned away.
Meanwhile Harmony looked around as she said, "Has anyone seen Ana?" Then suddenly Harmony heard her phone ring. Harmony answered it, and then immediately heard Ana's voice yell, "Open the window now!" Then Harmony opened a nearby window, and saw Ana sky-diving from high above. Ana then swooped in through the window, and then yelled, "Woohoo! I just recovered the lost spices of Atlantis from a tap dancing cowboy in Massachusetts! I am about to make some tasty treats for my Bunk-bed Restaurant that no one believed were possible!" Then Ana's kitten jumped out of a backpack Ana was wearing, and then sat on Ana's shoulder as it made a happy meowing sound. A grinning Ana then said, "Thanks Stormageddon the Conqueror for distracting the Middle-Aged Scuba Diving Canadian Koala that was guarding that ancient door made of gummy bears. You're the greatest bounty hunter apprentice ever! The Mandalorian and Grogu have nothing on us! Now lets start cultivating our special spices that will win our restaurant great acclaim! Bwa, ha, ha, ha, ha!" Then Ana and her kitten walked out of the room. Everyone then just looked at each other with confused eyes for a quiet moment. Finally Enid broke the silence as she said, "At least she's staying away from drugs and alcohol."
Later that evening: sitting around a dinner table eating and talking were Wednesday, Enid, Harmony, Megan, Sophia, Emmy, and Edward. At one point, Edward reached out his hands as he said, "Sa, sa. Sa, sa! A confused looking Harmony said, "What is it Edward?" Megan sighed, and then said, "Edward still has issues with a few words. He's asking for salt. Sorry. I should've brought his devices that help him communicate." Meanwhile as Enid was eating some dessert, she said, "Wow Megan. You made this pie by yourself? It tastes exactly the way Harmony makes it. How did you get it exactly right?" Then Harmony looked a little nervous as she said, "Well..." Then Megan put a hand on Harmony's shoulder as she said, "Babe, lets just tell them."
Harmony gave a quick sigh, and then said, "Okay. So... mom, you know how werewolves can communicate super basic thoughts to each other without even speaking if they're really close." Then Enid casually said, "Yeah. I never developed the ability, but my parents and cousins were always able to pull it off with other werewolves they were close to." Then Harmony slowly said, "Well... you know how I also inherited mother's ability to have psychic visions? Well... somehow... those abilities have of somehow combined, and I've slowly been developing the ability to... communicate thoughts of my own in the forms of visions to other people I'm close with." A wide eyed Wednesday then said, "You're being absolutely truthful about this?" Megan nodded her head as she said, "Yeah. No giant complex stuff. But... certain thoughts, memories, and skills that Harmony has... she's been able to send these things to me when she concentrates hard enough."
Then a curious looking Enid said, "Harmony, when did you realize you had this unique ability?" Then Harmony looked a little nervous as she said, "Well... it sort of happened by accident at first when I wanted Megan to perform a certain move I was scared to ask her to perform while we were making out in my bed, but I was imagining it, and then Megan surprised me when she actually started..." Then Enid put a hand up briefly as she said, "Okay. Maybe I don't wanna know. But... this is kind of huge." Then an intrigued looking Emmy said, "Yeah. Imagine if you could use this ability to communicate ideas with people who don't speak the same language. Or this could be used to help people literally understood the point of view of those who have different opinions on important issues with them." Then as Megan glanced at Edward, she softly said, "Or... it could be used to help teach people who can barely communicate... the skills to properly communicate."
Then suddenly the sound of an explosion was heard. Then Ana suddenly ran into the room covered in broken blue vines as she said, "Nobody panic! Everything is under control! However... those weird Atlantian spices I found... apparently have the ability to mutate into killer plant monsters. So if anyone has an axe, or some matches, or a couple hundred sticks of dynamite, that would be most appreciated." Then Enid turned to look at Wednesday as she said, "We're gonna need a lot more cleaning supplies for the girls' dorm room. You mind going shopping tonight Wens?" Wednesday looked confused as she said, "Why do you assume I would prefer to go shopping?" Then Enid raised one eyebrow as she said, "You mean you wanna remain here longer and deal with the end of this?" Then suddenly a loud cat scream was heard. Ana turned her head away as she yelled, "I told you Stormageddon the Conqueror! Hawaiian Punch won't solve this issue!" Wednesday sighed, and then said, "Very well. I shall go."
Later that evening, Wednesday was shopping at a grocery store. As she walked down one aisle, she suddenly found herself nearly bumping into Sheriff Gaplin. Sheriff Gaplin kept a calm face as he said, "Addams. Fancy bumping into you here." Wednesday gave a skeptical glare as she said, "Either this is indeed a coincidence, or you've been stalking me for quite some time in an attempt to seamlessly continue our last conversation I cut short. If it is indeed the latter, I do commend you for your improved skills as I did not see your approach coming... until 30 minutes ago." Sheriff Gaplin sighed, and then said, "Look. We need to talk about Sophia. She's Tyler daughter, and my grand-daughter." As Wednesday began to turn her attention away to the items she was planning to take off the grocery store shelves, she calmly said, "I don't recall Tyler ever telling me he had a child; thus there is inconsistency to your claim."
Sheriff Gaplin sighed and then said, "It happened before Tyler met you. He got... involved with a siren named Angelia who briefly attended Nevermore. I told my son to break it off with her, because I was afraid of what could happen to any girl that dated Tyler, considering his... condition." Wednesday briefly glared at Sheriff Gaplin as she said, "And it didn't concern you when your Hyde son began to become infatuated with me?" Sheriff Gaplin looked frustrated as he said, "You know I tried to put a stop to you two. However I didn't know for sure if Tyler was ever going to become a Hyde like his mother. I mean I was trying to practically fool myself when I told people it was just a bear or another Nevermore student committing those series of murders 18 years ago. But that's why I wanted to talk to you Addams. I didn't want to believe Tyler could ever be a monster, and you're obviously having the same problem now with Sophia. She's right around the same age Tyler was when he started to change. Sophia could turn into a murderous Hyde any day now." Then Wednesday looked directly at Sheriff Gaplin as she angerly said, "Tyler's behavior was manipulated by Laurel Gates. In addition, Sophia is a siren; and thus her siren abilities could neutralize any Hyde DNA she has."
Sheriff Gaplin began to look more angry as he said, "A nice thought. Only Sophia's mother: Angela told me that wasn't the case. Apparently it takes several years for siren eggs to hatch. So Angela visited me one day looking for Tyler, saying she wanted her daughter's father to be present at Sophia's birth. I told Angela to abort her child, saying that Tyler was a Hyde, and that her child would likely grow up to be a Hyde as well. However... Angela told me she was fully aware Tyler was a Hyde, and was purposefully trying to create the first Siren/Hyde cross-breed. So you see... Sophia was intentionally created to be the most dangerous creature the world has ever seen. I know marriage and kids has softened you Addams, but I need you to return to the cold heartless single-minded witch you used to be, and eliminate Sophia from the equation. Tyler was one of the only people to ever deceive you... so don't think Sophia can't do it too." Wednesday looked down with an uncertain face for a moment, but then turned to look straight at Sheriff Gaplin as she said, "As I recall... you also deceived me long ago. Thus, your credibility has always been thin." Then Wednesday turned her back to Sheriff Gaplin, and quickly walked away.
Harmony and Megan were both laying next to one another naked in Megan's bed on their sides, while holding the other in their arms. As Harmony was sweating, she said, "Woo. That was so freaking amazing babe. Most intense orgasm ever! Your tongue was like a snake tonight!" Megan smiled as she said, "Well, you let me know with your mind how you get really turned on when I do that thing, so of course I had to. Although, speaking of your new mental trick... I was thinking we should talk about... Edward now." A confused looking Harmony then said, "What are you talking about? I thought your brother was spending the rest of the evening in the restaurant?" Megan then sat up as she said, "No. I mean... look Harmony. You can send me little signals about how you prepare deserts, and what your favorite sexual positions are. But... what if you could send Edward information on... how to properly communicate and think."
Harmony sat up with a shocked look on her face as she said, "Whoa. I... I never considered that. I mean... I haven't tried my new ability on anyone besides you. But... Edward's brain is wired differently. I could maybe send bits of info to him, but... do you really think I could send info to re-wire his entire mind?" A hopeful looking Megan then said, "It's worth a shot. Harmony... I've grown up my whole life seeing my brother struggle. Edward has a good heart, and it's been tough to see him have so much difficulty getting by. If there is just a small chance I could give him a real shot at a normal life... I wanna take it." Harmony looked down for a moment, sighed, looked at Megan, and then said, "Okay Megan... I'll give it a try for you."
Wednesday and Enid sat next to one another in an office. Wednesday kept a straight face as she said, "I... am not keen to deliver this information." Enid then held Wednesday's hand as she said, "It's okay Wednesday. We'll do this together." Sophia then walked into the office as she said, "Hey. I was told you both wanted to see me." Enid nodded her head as she said, "Yes. Please sit down." As Sophia sat down, she nervously said, "This must be a pretty big deal, considering we're having this conversation in your office, and not in a more informal location." Wednesday then held out a police report file containing Tyler's picture as she said, "Sophia... do you know who this is?" Sophia nodded her head as she said, "Yes. That's Tyler Gaplin. He was the Hyde that tried to kill you, and was used by Laurel Gates in her plan to kill all outcasts 18 years ago. Your wrote all about him in your autobiography." Wednesday took a deep breath, and then said, "Well... I wrote all I knew about him then in my book. However, new information about his lineage has come to life. Tyler Gaplin... is your father."
Sophia had a look of shock on her face as she said, "What!?" Enid nodded her head, and then reluctantly said, "We only just found out, and did some checking to be sure. We dug up some old town photos that show your mother and Tyler together, and... the sheriff's department also sent us a DNA test they did where they matched up Tyler's DNA they had on file, and some DNA you gave you at your last medical checkup. There's no doubt... you're Tyler's daughter." Sophia began to breathe heavily and look away as she said, "But... he was a Hyde. A murderous crazy beast who... Argh! Why is this happening now!? Right when me and Emmy... Uggg. It can't be! It can't be!" Wednesday then calmly said, "No one at this school is accusing you of any wrong-doing Sophia. There have been no mysterious murders in this area as of late, and none of your peers have reported unusual behavior from you."
Then a panicked Sophia loudly said, "Yeah, but I took the freaking biology class on Hydes! I know they can transform at any given time if they experience some traumatic event or are unlocked through chemical inducement or... My God! You both are traumatizing me right now! Do you want me to become a Hyde!?" Enid held her hands out as she quickly said, "No. We wanted you to be aware of this, so that you could better protect yourself and get help." Then a freaked out Sophia yelled, "Get help!? I'm a freaking monster! I just got over hating my siren DNA that I hold... only to learn I'm carrying something even worse in me!" Wednesday gave Sophia a deadpan look as she said, "Now that you are aware of your parentage though, you can fight against your possible transformation. You can be more weary of individuals that may be trying to bring your transformation on, and can seek out proper assistance with..." Then Sophia got up, hit the chair with her fist, and with tears in her eyes yelled, "Stop acting like this can be stopped! It's only inevitable I'm going to lose control of myself! I'm basically waiting for my mind as I know it to just die. It's so ironic that just as I found a reason to live, my life begins to freaking end!" Then Sophia ran out of the office crying, as Wednesday and Enid remained where they were looking uncertain of what to do.
A fully clothed Harmony and Megan sat in their room facing Edward. A nervous looking Megan then said, "Now Edward... Harmony is going to try to send some information to your mind to help you learn and communicate better. We're not completely sure what will happen but... we're doing this to help you. Do you understand?" Edward looked a bit puzzled, and then said, "We get ice cream now?" Megan sighed, and then looked at Harmony as she said, "Just do it." Harmony took a deep breath, and then put her hands on Edward's shoulder. Harmony closed her eyes as she said, "I'm concentrating on... how I speak... how I communicate ideas to people... all basic skills that I consider just natural, and... Ugggh!" Harmony then pulled away looking dizzy. A concerned looking Megan then said, "Harmony, are you okay?" Harmony turned her head as she said, "No. But I think I will be. It's like my brain was being over-loaded. I got a major headache now."
Then Megan turned to look at Edward as she said, "Edward... are you okay?" Edward then looked at Megan puzzled again as he said, "We get ice cream now?" Megan sighed as she turned head away. Then Edward stood up as he said, "I mean it's Friday night, and this is when we typically get it. Despite not living with our parents anymore, it would be highly preferable if at least one pleasurable tradition I partake in would continue while living here." Megan then stood up with wide eyes as she said, "What did you say Edward? And more specifically... how do you feel?" Then an amazed looking Edward said, "I... I feel so many amazing sensations. I finally feel blocks in my mind that are keeping me from doing something embarrassing are being created, while other walls are coming down that are letting me access so many things that felt out of reach. I..." Then suddenly tears appeared in Edward's eyes as she said, "Oh my God. I've never been able to express everything so clearly." Then tears appeared in Megan's eyes as she said, "Edward... this is a miracle!" Then Edward and Megan quickly embraced and hugged one another as happy tears escaped from their eyes.
Sophia and Emmy sat on a bed together looking confused and sad. Emmy then glanced at Sophia as she said, "Look... no matter what happens... I love you Sophia. I'm not going to change how I feel just because you're a Hyde." Then an upset Sophia looked down as she said, "You realize if my mind changes, I'll probably use your feelings against you." Then Emmy held Sophia's hand as she said, "Hydes long ago used to attend Nevermore Academy. They're not completely dangerous. It's only under certain conditions, they are." Then Sophia angerly said, "They were allowed to attend this school long ago Emmy, because people didn't realize how much of a threat they were back then. Now people know, and they're banned from Nevermore Academy for a reason. Technically, I shouldn't even be attending this school anymore." Then Emmy with hope in her voice said, "But your siren DNA could cancel out your Hyde DNA." Then a worried Sophia said, "Or I could transform into a Hyde that can more easily kill people with a siren song. Lets face it Emmy. I'm an abomination! I shouldn't be alive. I should just kill myself..."
Then Emmy interrupted Sophia as she held both of her hands while saying, "No! Do not talk like that. Don't even think like that. Sophia... everyone is born for a reason. Everyone has a purpose. Sometimes that purpose gets perverted, but everyone is capable of getting onto a good path. I finally learned that, you finally learned it... so re-learn it!" Tears appeared in Sophia's eyes as she said, "Emmy... I don't want to hurt you." Emmy then moved closer to Sophia as she said, "Sophia... I know deep in my heart you never will." Then Emmy leaned in and kissed Sophia. Sophia kissed Emmy back, as the two young ladies wrapped their arms around one another. Then both girls began to remove their clothes and underwear as they got under the blankets on their bed together.
In the evening, Megan and Edward were walking together outside under a full moon. Edward then looked around in awe as he said, "Wow. Everything familiar feels new again. The smells, the sounds, the night sky... it's like I'm seeing it all for the first time!" Then a confused looking Megan said, "What are you talking about Edward? None of this is new for you." Then Edward stopped, made a little sigh, and then looked at Megan as he said, "Megan… when you look at the world, you just see world… but when I used to look at it... it was so much more. Before you changed me to how I am now... I would look at things in a different way than most people do. When I used to look at things... only specific things would catch my eye. Like a few blades of grass, or a single cup in a room, or one appliance. And I would just pay attention to all of the detail around those certain objects. Of course people would demand me to pay attention to other things... but it was hard because I just really wanted to take in those handful of little things I was already so fascinated by."
Megan looked amazed as she said, "Edward... this is astounding. You're not only able to properly communicate with me now... but you can also tell me exactly what was going on in your brain before." Edward then looked up at the night sky as he said, "Well... it's been really hard to do anything my entire life up till now. Growing up... I knew what I had to do to get by... but I had so much trouble doing it. So many times I would accomplish something, but get it wrong. There were so many things I couldn't do on my own. I always needed somebody's help... and as nice as you and some of the other people were... there were always those who would say such terrible things to me. The awful names, the terrible things they would assume about our parents... It hurt so much. But the worst part was it was so difficult to say anything to defend myself. And when I tried, I would just say something else so stupid. I hated my life so much... but even if I wanted to end it... I didn't even know how."
Megan's eyes showed sadness as she said, "Edward... I had no idea you were feeling these things. But... why did you always seem so upbeat at times?" Edward made a little smile as he said, "Because I had amazing friends and an amazing big sister who I knew would always have my back. Still... I am worried. Once everybody learns about what happened to me... what if people start making fun of me even more? What if they start calling me some kind of freak? What if some people think I was just faking my condition? What if..." Then Megan put her hands on Edward's shoulders as she said, "Edward. There are some very sick people in the world that will make fun of someone based on anything. Whether you have a mental disability or just some mismatched socks, someone is always going to try to find some way to make fun of you. You've just gotta hang in there and remember you're more important than those people will ever realize." Edward smiled as he hugged Megan and said, "Thanks sis." Megan made a big smile as she said, "Anytime bro."
The next morning: Emmy laid naked in bed looking content. As the sun slowly began to rise through a nearby window, Emmy made a little smile as she said, "Mmm. That was the best sex ever last night Sophia." Then Emmy turned her head... and saw Sophia was not in the bed or the room. Emmy then saw a small paper had been left at the end of the bed. Emmy picked it up, and saw the paper said: "I'm sorry Emmy. Please try to only remember me as I was last night with you." Emmy looked angry as she ripped up the paper several times and threw the scraps to the ground. Then tears filled her eyes, as Emmy broke down and began to sob alone in her bed.
Harmony and Megan were walking down a hall together as a smiling Megan said, "It's been amazing Harmony! Edward's insight on what his life was like before we altered his brain is like game changing insight for the field of psychology. In fact, by combining Edward's old insights with new insights he'll inevitably acquire... he could become some kind of super genius!" Harmony looked a little skeptical as she said, "Well... lets not jump too far ahead, and take things just one step at a time." Then Harmony and Megan walked into Megan's dorm room, where they saw a troubled Edward sitting on the bed. A concerned looking Megan then said, "Hey Edward. You look a little lost in thought. Everything okay?" Edward looked at Megan with a scared look in his eyes as he said, "Megan... ever since an hour ago... I've started to lose... my thinking. Hard to focus. I... I think I'm turning into... what I used to be." Megan suddenly looked panicked as she said, "No, no, no, no! You can't!"
Then Megan turned to look at Harmony as she said, "Harmony, do your thing again! Make my brother better!" Harmony with a sad look in her eyes said, "Megan... we can't screw around with someone's brain like this. Also... that thing I did to him yesterday gave me a huge headache that still hasn't gone away. Also, I started having nose bleeds during all of yesterday afternoon that were pretty bad. Honestly... I don't know what's going to happen to me if I do that trick again. I... I'm sorry Megan." Megan then sat next to Edward with tears in tears in her eyes as she said, "Edward... I finally saved you... and now I'm going to lose you again." Edward then looked right at Megan as he said, "No lose me. I'm... always here. Just... sad now... you won't like me... when I'm... different again." Then Megan immediately hugged Edward as she began to cry while saying, "You're my brother Edward. I will always love you exactly the way you are. I'm always going to be here for you."
Wednesday was sitting in an office looking at several papers, when Emmy stormed in. Before Wednesday could say anything, a loud and angry Emmy yelled, "Where is Sophia!?" Wednesday remained calm as she said, "Emmy, if you'd just..." Then Emmy banged Wednesday's desk with her fists as she yelled, "Tell me where Sophia is right now, or you are going to see some vampire fangs totally screw you up!" Wednesday then glared at Emmy as she said, "Sophia voluntarily left Nevermore Academy last night. She was sent to a safe house at an unknown location that Sheriff Gaplin helped arrange for her. She is not being treated like a prisoner, especially since she will have no person present within a five mile radius of her location She will have food, basic comforts, and the ability to contact any of us if she chooses to. She believed this option was for the best."
An angry looking Emmy then said, "For the best!? You think Sophia's best option is to separate herself from everyone that cares and loves her!?" Wednesday kept a straight face as she said, "Sophia is also a Hyde and a danger to anyone around her. She has simply chosen self-isolation over potential mutilation of everyone that cares and loves her." Emmy looked angry, but had tears in her eyes as she said, "Maybe I do get it... but it's still really screwed up!" Then Emmy turned away and began to cry as she left Wednesday's office. Wednesday then tilted her head down... and covered her own eyes for a long moment.
Megan sat at a table in the school restaurant as she watched Edward from afar making food. Ana then walked over to Edward as she said, "Okay Edward. We're gonna need six bacon sandwiches ASAP." Edward smiled as he said, "Time for bacon! Time for bacon!" Ana smiled as she said, "That's right." Then Edward look around and said, "Cut! Cut!" Then Ana handed Edward some tools as she said, "Here's your cutting tools. Keep up the good work bro." Then Ana walked over to Megan and sat down with her. Megan smiled as she said, "Thanks for letting Edward work in this restaurant Ana. You know... yesterday, it felt like my brother finally had so many opportunities ahead of him. Now... I'm worried he's barely gonna survive over the next ten years."
Ana smiled as she said, "Megan... none of us are completely independent. We all need help. Sure, Edward needs more help than the rest of us. But... none of us can really reach our full potential without others. The thing is: most people don't think they need help, or they don't know how to ask for help, or they go to the wrong people for help. But Edward... he already knows the kind of questions to ask, and the kind of people he needs to go to for assistance. That alone... makes Edward not as helpless as he looks. Plus, his intentions are always pure, he never lies, and he's always trying to improve. Some people may not get that... but as a fellow individual that is often seen as weird and different... I just see Edward as someone that simply isn't able to change his nature... but that's okay... because he's already the kind of person I wanna keep around as a friend for life." Megan smiled as she said, "Thanks Ana."
Sophia stood at the window of a log cabin in the middle of the woods. As Sophia looked out the window, she sighed, and then said to herself, "I just see myself as someone that simply isn't able change their nature... but that's okay... because I'm already the kind of person... who knows she can't have friends..."
