Hello been a long while I know to those who might remember me and read my story but I will explain what happened and what going to hopefully happen in the future just to make it clear to those who read my story. Either way I hope you enjoy.
Also I don't own anything from Pokémon or My hero Academia, this story is simply for readers enjoyment.
Our world is truly a magnificent, it has so many wonders and mysterious of the past, and the inspiring development of the future of our world with our technology. But... there will always be one truly magnificent wonder of our world, that has been on our planet since the beginning of world. The wonderful mysterious creatures, called Pokémon. There everywhere, high soaring in the clear skies, deep in the bottom of the blue ocean, even on the ground whether in the natural landscapes or with cities and other homes with humans. Humans and Pokémon, have been together since the start, they help each and co-exist peacefully. There are many types of Pokémon, with different forms and skills called types, and with some able to evolve to a new evolution, they change to different forms and some with different types.
Some Pokémon help with our daily lives and jobs, others relax alongside them just as friends or even to some... part of the family. But there's also some who battle with Pokémon as battle partners called trainers. They work together to battle other trainers to win, displaying there combat skill, growth and bond between trainers and Pokémon. Our world have also grown and develop so much that there are many thing wonderful, unique creations that helps our Pokémon in battle but there's also things from the past that help with our relationship and strengths with Pokémon as well. Like... Oh! but there goes me and my mumbling again. I'm sure all those things will be explained soon, ha ha.
'Coughs'. Anyway it's about time we start, and I should've already introduced myself. My name is Izuku Midoriya, I'm from the Kanto region, one of the many regions of our world, and this is my story how me... And well, also my friends became truly great trainers, and I guess in a way... True heroes for both people and Pokémon.
"Beep, Beep, B-!" The alarm stop as a hand sleepily turned off the button and a figure rolled back into bed. "Mmm, just five more minutes." a young 15 year old sleepily said. It's still early, and to him he still wanted to sleep a little bit more.
"Izuku, dear. Breakfast is ready." His mother, Inko Midoriya called. Izuku didn't respond, to him could have breakfast later, right now he needed to-.
"Dear if you don't get ready you never know if you got in. I mean the official letter came in this morning." Inko called out teasingly sing out. And with that the young boy immediately jump out of bed and rushed downstairs. A bright hopeful smile appearing on his face.
"It's here!" He frantically exclaimed as he arrived downstairs and saw his mother next to the dinning table with some pancakes and milk dished out, as he got closer he saw the official UA Stamp on the envelope she was holding.
His mother smiles as she gestures for him to sit down and eat breakfast. "Yes sweetie, the Dragonite mail service delivered it this morning." His mother said as she then lets out a small giggle gently placing the palm of her hand towards her face, covering her mouth. "That Dragonite sure was a gentle Pokémon, despite being strong and they sure can fly fast and so far." His mother said as Izuku smiled at her while thinking, Dragonite such a fierce Pokémon that would be best for battle, but its speed and its amazing ability to travel far beyond to other regions makes it a good deliver Pokémon as well.
"Anyway what does it say." Izuku said excitedly hoping he passed. UA is considered the greatest school to all types of people in the ways of Pokémon. From powerful trainers, gym leaders, elite four members and even amazing Pokémon champions. They also great at raising students in other areas. Such as, Pokémon researchers and professors, Pokémon coordinators, teachers and so one. It truly is the best school in the world.
Izuku quickly ate his breakfast, despite his mother worrying for him to eat more slowly, then sat down on the couch and open the letter to reveal a small silver disk with a button on it. Confused, he hesitantly pressed the button and a light blue holographic screen was projected. Then the static on the screen cleared up, showing... ALL MIGHT!?
All Might was a true legend, he was the greatest trainer in the world, holding the title of World Pokémon champion for many years, only to drop it due to a unexpended announcement of his retirement, which shocked everyone. There have been rumours it was due to some huge battle, well whatever happened is so secretive that no press in the world knows about it.
There are also rumours he would be teaching at UA but I guess now it's been proven true. As he was thinking, suddenly he heard All Might signature laugh, making him jolt a bit and focus his attention back to the holographic screen,
"Young Midoriya, congratulations. We looked over your test results, and I am happy to inform that you have passed the UA exam! Your score on the written exam was most impressive with your knowledge, and as for the practical with the rental Pokémon for the practical battles. You clever use of analysing your opponents Pokémon and working out the best counterattack was really impressive. That is a true quality of a promising trainer. All of us in UA look forward to your arrival. We welcome you to UA." All Might exclaimed proudly while while Midoriya was staring at the screen with wide eyes.
He just couldn't believe it, he actually got into UA, the greatest Pokémon school in the world, it's known to train and teach all sort of things to create many powerful trainers of all kind. Gym leaders, elite four members, and even champions. They also great at teaching students for many other careers like Pokémon researchers, professors, inventors, Pokémon coordinators and so on.
In his thoughts, he heard All Might's voice again, snapping him back to attention.
"By the way, in the letter there's also your ticket for the special cruise to travel to the Kalos region, which is going through and new development so be looking for that. There's also instructions for how to travel there by heading to through northeast gate to route 16 and then head south. Being part of a trainer is to travel all over the world, so its important you know your way around." All Might then laughed loudly before covering his mouth slightly. I could barely hear what he said as he was quietly mumbling but its sounded like, 'although that part of traveling-', 'he sure is strict on students', 'I pity his new class'.
Those barley audible words left Midoriya with a surprised and a slight frown, but then removed as All Might spoke some finally words.
"Well anyway Young Midoriya, we are all excited to help guide and teach you and help you start your Pokémon journey, get thoroughly prepared as you have one week till the cruise takes off." He said proudly letting out his signature laugh once again before the screen turn back to blank light blue and shut off.
Midoriya was practically crying a river, soaking the whole couch.
"Oh my dear Izuku, I'm so happy for you", his mother also cried out, hugging her son tightly. Both where crying there eye out, resulting in the whole house almost flooding.
They eventually stopped (not until the house was almost a aquarium) and Izuku immediately starting preparing and buying everything he would need, he just couldn't wait for the week to passed.
Not long, a week h as already passed. With Midoriya with a backpack and a suitcase, outside his home in Saffron city ready to head to Vermilion city to board the cruise.
"Bye mom, I'll come visit when we have holiday breaks", Izuku calls out waving and smiling.
"Ok, dear please be careful", his mother says worrying, noticing shedding tears by Izuku.
"I will mom." He exclaimed and started to walk to the gate to route 6 and heads down, careful not to encounter any wild Pokémon. Soon he arrives at Vermilion city.
"That wasn't that bad, now where is the port", he mumbled looking at the map. "Should be down to the south."
He soon arrives at the port a show the cruise attendant his ticket and gets on board and guide to his destinated room.
He then explores the cruise noticing many different people and Pokémon relaxing and having fun on the ship. He arrives at the main deck and see's a pool along with some people enjoying relaxing, there's even a Brionne creating multi coloured bubbles and singing happily. He smiles at the sight.
There's so many Pokémon, I can't wait to see Kalos and go to UA. Izuku thinks, not noticing someone till a familiar voice shout out.
"DEKU!" He immediately turned around and becomes frozen in shock and fear.
"KACCHAN!", Izuku panics, seeing his childhood friend, Kacchan, or rather Katsuki Bakugo, the two both lived in Saffron city and used to play together when they were kids. Bakugo was always very skilled in Pokémon, he had good knowledge and despite his personality, he always knew how to win battles. Winning... That all what Bakugo loved the most, he always wanted to win and be the strongest trainer in the world, just like All Might.
Kacchan, I knew he was going to UA. I'm not surprised he passed with his experiences. I'm just shocked that I encounter him this soon, I just wanted to arrive to UA without any-
"What do you think your doing here, you dam nerd!" Izuku thought cut off as Bakugo shouts back to his attention, right up in his face.
-Problems... Izuku thinks as he starts stuttering. "Umm, he-hey Kacchan. I just also passed the exam, and um I wanted to go you know. To also become a powerful trainer"
"Ha you think you can become strong, useless Deku" Bakugo says mockingly grabbing the the collar of Izuku shirt and was about to yell at him before the ship horn blowed, signalling the ship leaving. This confirmed with an announcement on the cruise PA speaker.
'Attention to all passengers, the ship has left Vermilion docks. We will be arriving at Kalos in around 4 days, we thank you for join our cruise and are here to provide all your needs and hope your experience on this trip is to your expectations.'
Bakugo lets go of Izuku collar with a 'tsk'. "Watch yourself, Deku. I'm going to absolutely destroy you at UA." He exclaimed, then sending Midoriya a menacing death stare that enveloped him in utter fear. "You got that useless nerd."
Midoriya nods, Bakugo staring at him for a good second and abruptly turning.
Midoriya lets out a huge sigh, almost collapsing to the ship floor. It could've been worse, at least he didn't yell at me this much... Surprisingly... He thinks as he explores the ship inside to get some food.
'All Might's Kommo-o easily blocked Endeavor's Incineroar's Darkest Lariat. This insane, All Might's has only lost one Pokémon. While Endeavor already down to his finally Pokémon, what a true champion!' The announcer commented as Kommo-o and Incineroar exchanged blows.
"Kommo-o, let's finish it now you think. Use close combat." All Might proudly exclaims as his Kommo-o scales rub together, blasting a purple light coloured sound wave so powerful it creates a huge dust cloud. Once cleared, it's revealed that Endeavor's Incineroar as been knocked out, officially winning All Might the match.
'And once again folks, All Might portrays another sweep less victory!' The announcer enthusiastically exclaimed, as the crowd cheers roared as All Might did his signature pose with his fist raised up high laughing proudly.
"Ha ha, I always smile proudly with my Pokémon hard work. To battle no matter what. I say to all inspiring trainers, keep going and you can be a amazing trainer to. HA HA HA." All Might exclaims proudly with his bright smile...
Izuku pauses the video there on his Rotom phone, now back in his room at night in his pyjamas ready to for bed, but couldn't sleep due to excitement.
He's smiling in awe of the old video of All Might match with an elite four member, Endeavour. He can't wait to meet him and hopefully get his autograph.
All Might is so cool, I really hope I get to meet him at UA. I have so much I want to ask him, I hope I can become a strong trainer like him one day. Izuku thinks staring out to the night sky, putting his phone into his desk on the side and getting in the bed slowly falling asleep thinking.
I can't wait for the start of my adventure, he thinks as he drifts of to sleep as the cruise steers to future.
In a dark room, a figure stood still it gazed focused.
"Ahh.. This is the is the time, to finally move forward", it speaks as it walks out to face a screen.
"To create a true world for all"
And there we go the prologue is completed, I hope you enjoyed it and I'm looking excited to write. There's even with some relations with Pokémon announcement on Pokémon day last week, with the Dragonite postman short (watched in in sub and to me animation was amazing and a nice short to watch with an interesting story) and Pokémon Z-A, can't wait to see how it turns out late 2025 (starters where defiantly unexpected, but hopeful it's to make the final evolutions more unique).
Now for my explanation, I know maybe to some who have read my stories, probably stop caring a bit since I haven't updated in a really long time. I just been busy with other things in my life I sadly had to focus on that were more important.
Now I am really going to try to update my stories. For legends of korra and Pokémon crossover, I'm going to take a break on as I focus on a more clearer idea. Again I hope you enjoy this new prologue of My hero, I choose you!
