During a ride to a southern beach, Earl, his teenage children and the traveling Guardians were enroute when they heard a distant rumbling. The lot, baring Earl, turned around to see a volcano undergoing a vicious, dark embed eruption. The driver of the car went stiff for a moment, looked at his rear view mirror to see the heralded chaos and gave a nearly pathetic scream of mortal peril. If the situation wasn't cataclysmic, it would have been mocked, instead Daphne was quick to remember that Heatran; who has power over Volcanos and is a pokemon of Legendary power, is up there. "This is bad. You don't think-" Aqua had her studies on the Magma Dome. "At the one place we weren't around. We should hurry,"
The band on their rides were close to the beach and found Dinosaurs running for their lives, in fear of the rather vast swarm of shadows and an eruption of stones. At the shore was what looked to be a fusion of a submarine, fishing boat and a Spinosaurus, of rusted orange metal and an exposed belly of nets and hooks. It was doing battle against a fast swimming ammonite with many tentacles and a beak. The Omastar rushed across the water and charged a meteor beam, in sync with a hydro steam that was shot from the mist. On the other end, forcing away an assailant was a Genesect with an ice drive in it's gun, doing battle against a twin scythed, thin, mostly brown, bipedal arthropod. Having a dark aura and a stoic, murderous glare. It fired a thunder bolt at it and flew backwards from a rampaging, screaming Crawdaunt. A high pitch, feminine tone screamed from the cyborg. "Come on, snap out of it!" She rapid fired flash cannons and pleaded. "Don't make me hurt you!"
Daphne was quick to jump of Chimery, let out Lil' Marn and rush into battle with two, clearly out of control pokemon. Litzia leaped from her Keyblade Broom and brought about Solrock before signaling to the Wayfinders that they should deal with the larger heartless. Leaving the Sinclair kin to get out of the car and try to assess the situation. Charline decided that she and Yanmy should aid Daphne, while Robbie and Earl provide aid for the Star Sage.
The Net Smacker shot out a dark glowing harpoon at the Omastar that was quickly picked up by the beast of Mist, tossed at the back and making herself known as the Walking Wake that roared out to the sky and fired a dragon pulse. Aqua saw that as a chance to perform a fast rain dance and bring out Abigale, while Terra brings out Obstagoon and Ven a Haywire in a lawn mower. Robbie was fast to have Kroko burrow under the shadow horde and trap them in sand as Earl unleashed Mudsdale and Sandslash and had them work with Kroko and the Great Tusk.
He timidly brought out Torterra and directed to a Net Smacker that sprinted after the Wayfinders and tried to crash into them. "Try that shell trick and give him an old pepper corn spray."
The Torterra knew what that meant and caused his shell to crack for a boost in speed and power. Ven and Haywire glided to one end, made a sync turn and fired a mighty blast of lightning before jolting to the Net Smacker's personal and conjuring an aura of leaves. The Heartless tried to move out of the way and was obstructed by Obstagoon and Terra, leaving the monster to get blasted by an electrical leaf storm. The rough neck duo gave the foe an upper cut as Aqua and Abigale glided close and unleashed an combined twister, sucking the monster in and sending it flying above the mist beast. It used the rain and in sync to Omastar, fired a steaming hydro pump, the moisture blew away the mist and reveled what was expected, the Walking Wake with the Omastar on her back.
The Triassic Pokemon fired a charged orb to the sky and had it burst into a barrage of meteors. The Net Smacker took the devastation and dived into the water.
At the other end of the Shore.
Daphne, Lil Marn and Chimery rushed into the brawl between the Genesect and the aquatic duo. The Morpeko and Silvally shoved the rampaging water types away as the Rotom Phone activated it's aura reader, showing a black aura around both of them. "Shadow Pokemon!" She perked her step. "Lil' Marn, nuzzle that Kabutops while Chimery stuns the Crawdaunt!"
The Morpeko tackled the shellfish and gave a shock as the Crawdaunt made a blitz after Daphne and raised his claw to end her. Daphne jumped back as Chimery intercepted and unleashed a fast thunder wave. Kabutops pulsed in a dark aura and shock itself to normal as the Genesect stepped back and fired a fast flash cannon. Woosh! Suddenly, Yanmy rushed to shoot an air slash and force the Crawdaunt in a flinch, giving Chimery an opening for a single fairy powered multi attack. Genesect was calming down and noticed on a tree, a dark humanoid with a cross bow, aimed at the girl. The cyborg glided in the way, smacked a bolt and followed with an icy techno blast. The Bolt Sniper warped away as Daphne turned in a fast beat. "We got a sniper in the back?"
The Genesect kept her focus on the warping heartless and downloaded options. "Looks like it, you got a way to neutralize these two buddies of mine?" Daphne showed two net balls and tossed one at Crawdaunt.
Leaving Kabutops to make a leap after the girl, Daphne rolled as Charline ordered. "Come on, hypnotize this shellfish, stat!" The Yanma zipped to the Kabutops face and let loose a hypnotic wave, giving Lil' Marn the change at a fast seed bomb. The teenager brought out a net ball and gave it a toss, watching the net drag in the shadow pokemon and make the ball shake three times.

Daphne hurried to pick up the two capsules and spot the Bolt Sniper at aim. She grabbed the balls and back rolled. "Genesect, make an aim but don't fire!" The cyborg was confused but followed, she gave a shine of flash and saw the Bolt Sniper warp to get high up in the air. Firing a bolt off course. "Now!"
The Genesect unleashed a fast flash cannon as Daphne kept her eye on the bolt that condensed into an orb. "Bouncer?"
The bolt shot out to prove a point, going after the girls that side stepped. Chimery gave the Sniper a glare, waited for it to warp at the brawl and pounced for a finishing Multi Strike. The Shadow Swarm began to worsen, despite Litzia and Fae bringing upon a constant barrage of stars. Kroko and the ground types kept burying the dark swarm as Robbie noticed the girls hurrying. The Heartless Swarm flew together into an rotating orb and were ready to burst as a tide as Genesect rushed for a fast technoblast to the core. Leaving it unstable and giving Litzia time to back flip with Fae, charge up a meteor of light and toss it as a finisher. Leaving Earl as the one to witness the Net Smacker leaping out of the sea and unleashing a sharp hook net upon the Wayfinders that dodged out of the way. Torterra had the chance and fired a four seed barrage.
Doing enough damage to make the heartless lean and leave it open to the Great Tusk rushing to it's personal and engaging in close combat. Obstagoon laughed and joined in as Earl gave the order to Mudsdale and Sandslash. "Get same sand up and ram this suckah!"
Mudsdale stomped up a sand storm as Sandslash gave a vigorous dance, rolled up and used the speed to rush bellow the heartless and give a bulldozing stomp. Making it fall over and give Terra the opening for a finishing cleave. With that finished, the Walking Wake looked over to the band, especially to the girl with the net balls and set her focus on the erupting Volcano. Daphne saw the band had quite the rough time and asked. "Are you all okay? That heartless was looking pretty vicious." She tried to regain her breath and realize there was a witness. "Genesect, what was going on before all this happened?"
The Genesect saw more humans looking upon her and growled. "Grr. Minding our own business when these dark monsters shot at us from the shadows. Kabutops shoved me out of the way of one and Crawdaunt tried to fight it." She froze. "You know who did this? Are you gonna tell me what you did to them?"
It was a long story to tell and the Walking Wake heard lightning bolts by a distant woods. Her normally fierce face made way to a fear and she sprinted. The band felt it in their instinct to follow and Daphne had to answer the Genesect. "We got to haul it, we do and these balls will keep Crawdaunt and Kabutops from hurting themselves. Are you with us?" The cyborg nodded, shifted into her travel form and jetted to the woods as Daphne and her partners made a sprint.
Some time earlier
A four man band of vaguely cloaked Tree Pushers were under cover in the shrub of the woods, for a mission of surveillance against the unknown visitors. Oddly there wasn't many in the usual sights, only foot prints. They went deeper into the woods, where swamp water was making rise to a grove of flowerly bushes. Overlooking the center, at first glance, is a white bodied deer with light blue at the neck and head. Most noticeable is the antlers of golden yellow and multiple colors. Overlooking such bountiful nature and keeping in a serene calm. Sunbathing by her is a Meganium without much of a care and sitting by her to cloud watch is the Raging Bolt, a strange cross breed between a four leg long neck and a saber cat.
These weren't quite the monsters the Tree Pushers were looking for and looked to each other, questioning if they were given the correct information. Then from the distance, Mount Thunder erupted. The Raging Bolt turned in shock at the noise while Meganium nearly jumped awake. Xerneas heard the sound of demolition and turned to find a nine beast pack of ceratoids ripping the grass from the earth and flipping it over. The Tree Pusher that has resemblance to a turtle stepped out of hiding with his crew and tried to plea to the arrivals. "Hey, hey! We're suppose to spy on these guys and see what they're planning, not attack just-"
At the next second, he saw the ceratoids having more of a resemblance to a bull dozing machine, being earthy brown with yellow car light eyes and a particular red emblem. The Earth Rippers emit smog and charged as one, Meganium glowed green and took a stomp, calling out to the Tree Pushers.

BURST!
A mighty set of roots burst from the ground and lashed in a frenzy, giving the Dinosaurs time to make a run for it. The deer started to absorb a light from the earth as a great white and green serpent formed from out of nowhere to do battle. The Raging Bolt calmed his mind as the Tree Pushers hurried to get behind the Meganium. The Earth Rippers roared and ripped the plant from the earth as the deer shined in geomancy and unleashed a mighty gleam, blasting the Earth Rippers a great distance and giving Raging Bolt the chance to shoot thunder claps, Zygarde let loose a thousand green shock waves to break the heartless down.
The Tree Pushers felt they weren't out of danger yet and turned to see a shadow giving rise to a frosty giant. Then another. A pack surrounded and like in ritual, blocked out the sun with dark smoke, bringing a deathly chill across the land. The Deer was about to focus a moon blast as dark chains rushed from the shadows, snaring her and having a hook spear her in the chest. Causing her to stop in shock as Meganium tried to stomp an earthquake and was grappled by the chains. The Tree Pushers gasped and hurried to try and pull Meganium from the bindings, only to be lashed out by metal. The Raging Bolt fired a dragon pulse beam at the chains and rushed the beam across a path as Zygarde was torn into by the chains and broke apart.
The Deer was dragged into the darkness, with Zygarde diving into the void. Meganium saw a pack of shadows leaping at the fool hardy Tree Pushers and unleashed one more frenzy plant before getting yanked in. As the chaos grew, an icy techno blast vaporized the dark swarm and made way for a fast moving Walking Wake and Omastar that let loose a steam blast against a Darkside.
Then come Daphne on her Silvally, the girl saw enough and screamed. "Xerneas?! Meganium?!"
She jumped off for battle and stood before the Darkside Forest that began to resemble frozen trees. Following behind were a fast moving band of Wayfinders and their misfits of Jugulis, Togekiss, Obstagoon and Great Tusk. The Sinclair kids and their partners were right behind in a stand while Earl and a fast crawling Torterra were hating the exercise. The middle aged Dinosaur was huffing and panting, a Darkside shoot a blizzard at the out of shape duo.
Torterra and Great Tusk cringed at the coming pain as Ven hurried to bring out a Terra orb, making it shine and toss it at the turtle, making him take on a tera type of grass. Even if the damage was still significant, the turtle kept a stand. Terra signaled that Obstagoon gets back and let loose Annililape as Aqua and Abigale ascended to the dark sky and called upon rain. Half of the Darksides focused a barrage at the fliers as another half went for the ground dwellers, Terra, Annililape and Great Tusk charged through to take the bombardment and leaped at a particular foe for a mighty punch, obliterating it's head clean off.
Ven and Togekiss made a fast glide to the back field darksides and let loose a storm of sharp wind as Daphne sent out Wawae and barked. "The kicking bolt strikes down all in their path. Thunderous kick!"
The Zapdos heard and knocked a busy heartless down as the Great Tusk lunged for a finishing blow of close combat. Kroko kicked a sandy barrage as Yanmy tossed a barrage of ancient rocks. Fling! Then come Litzia warping in starlight and tossing a bright glowing Solrock, who crashed to the swamp and let loose rock slides. Giving Raging Bolt, Genesect, Walking Wake and Torterra time to push back the rear attacking foes. Aqua and Jugulis screamed out to bring about a hurricane that tore the Darkside Forest apart, the giants broke apart in dark winds and coalescing into a vortex of smoke and snow.
Ready to unleash devastation as Aqua free dived and was the first to catch a glimpse of something on the mountain side, a glowing red Y that blasted the vortex with red destruction. The dark red beam drained out of the Vortex and caused it to break down into simple snow.
Woosh!
The red Y dived after the Vortex and shattered it, revealing a red vulture like creature with horns and flat feathers of white. Having a deathly glow of blue in his eyes that showed rage. Daphne had a moment to gasp as Koraidon and Gouging Fire arrived, the mount used his power to bring back the sun. The girl took a stand on instinct. "No, no, no! Yvetal alert," She turned fast. "Yvetal alert!"
The bird was about to caw at the obvious as a pillar of cells slithered into a pile to reveal the calmer Zygarde core that called out. (Wait, they're trying to advert this crisis.) The Yvetal wasn't calming down, but demanded answers. (Where are they taking Xerneas?! Without her, nothing will regrow when destruction comes!)
The Tree Pushers froze in fear at the otherworldly power as Earl tugged at the turtle like man. "Sid what were you guys doing here?" Sid turned fast, then look back to the bird. "O..Our job, we were sent to spy on these big guys, found out they were doing nothing to wage war on us and then suddenly, all Hell broke loose."
Robbie asked fast. "You got a look at any of the monsters that showed up?" A horn nose recalled with some terror. "They kind of look like big tree pushers..." That did enough to convince Charline. "So Wesayso is behind this?! I'll bet they even caused the Volcano to erupt too!"
Yvetal understood the girls words and channeled his aura, warning the lot to not get in his way. (I've seen their kind before! They seek nothing more than to despoil the land and shatter the eternal cycle.)
He was ready to fly off as Daphne waved her hand. "Wait, wait!" The band were more startled that Daphne is interfering with the dark entity, the girl kept a courageous tone. "If you fly right over there, they'll have you trapped and turned into an attack monster! Let us get a look for their hideout. You'll know when it's time to dive after Xerneas." Litzia swallowed and pleaded. "Then, while they're busy with us, you can help nature take back what is hers." Yvetal was impressed by the will and nodded. (Very well, but do not fail. Your time must not be today.)
He flew off to a nearby mountain as a way to keep hidden while Robbie realized. "Darn it. They're gonna try to pin the blame on these Pokemon to cover their tracks." Terra remembered the concept of a news report. "You know where that news station is at? The one that was talking about those guys?"
Earl gasped to that idea. "It's on the other side of the city, DNN." Koraidon was nearing a state of over stressed panic as Daphne hurried to him and tried to calm him down. Having him go into mount mode, letting her get on his back, she invited the Sinclair kids to come along. "If you guys know the way, we'll need a guide. No stops until we make this part of the news!"
Chimery and Wawae took guard as the teenage dinosaurs called their partners back and got on the lizards back. Charline promised a thought out word. "Howard will let us roar if he hears it from us!" The Koraidon and the escort raced away while Gouging Fire asked the rest. (If we got more of you to join in the roar, we need them!) Earl understood and asked his tree pushers. "Come on, we got folks to call."
At the Home.
The Stay at Homes and their guards were watching a news update, show casing the volcanic eruption, the attack of the sea creatures and the small snow storm. Howard Handupme was keeping himself neutral in his stance as he shared what he was told. "In regards to the recurring disasters, Wesayso's CEO, BP Richfield has news in light of the subject."
Half the screen showed the ceratoid tycoon in his business suit, keeping a somber tone in regards to the disasters running amok. "Hello tv viewers, you might be wondering where all these sudden disasters are coming from." He sighed. "Yeah, ever since those starlights, all kinds of chaos has been building up. Biding its time before it can start a stampede. Well, worry more because there's isn't much stopping it."
He brought a crudely drawn picture of Heatran, spewing lava upon crudely drawn dinosaurs. "A bunch of varmints are invading and are making claims on our territory. Varmits with powers that can split all of Pangea if given a reason. We at Wesayso have been studying them for a while and are devising ways to get rid of every last one of them," Howard stared and asked. "Mr. Richfield, that may be a concern but earlier today we've been having show case of these creatures living in harmony with the local Dinosaurs. Surely there is more to them than just violent-" Kick!
The News reporter was caught of guard by the sound of a door kicking open. Daphne and the Sinclair kids that called out.
"Stop the news!"
"Wesasyo's lying to you!"
They were looking at something that shows Richfield, who was completely dumbfounded. "Who let these kids in here?!"
Daphne borrowed the Microphone and used her Phone to set up pictures, having the Ranch and it's works on display for all who are watching. "The creatures that came beyond the stars, the Pokemon, were brought here because someone messed around with the powers that make up the lights you watched. They're all lost, scared, confused and are trying to get by until help can come."
Robbie and Charline let out Kroko and Yanmy to show case creatures that at their core are friendly. Daphne let out Keahi the Incineroar, who is as fierce looking as he is camera shy. Daphne pet him on the shoulder and gave Richfield a crossed scowl. "Often, they don't just attack unless there's a reason. Most of the time it's because someone keeps setting them off."
The CEO growled. "So why didn't they move? Huh?" Charline gave a matching glare at the mogul. "There's no place for them to move to on their own. This world is the only one they got right now!"
Robbie added another factor that would agitate anyone. "With the tree pushers bulldozing into their settlements and being forced to face these guys without pay, fights are bound to happen." Daphne nodded and had her Phone ready to show something most dark. "Someone's been doing... very dangerous things to some of these pokemon and it makes attack everything around them, with the intent to kill. That's something known as turning them into Shadow Pokemon."
The Phone showed an old photo of a Togetic with a black aura, attacking someone in a desert. Then it showed a Mew that's been apart of her family and an old picture of a purple Mew with dead gray eyes.
Daphne looked to the phone with a terror and swallowed. "Normally friendly pokemon are turned into some weapon and pokemon that can be pretty dangerous are much, much, much more catastrophic. Someone that Wesayso has hired, is trying to inflict this and pin the blame on the Pokemon themselves."
Richfield's eyes widen, like he was backed into a corner, Charline chanted to the viewers. "Are we just going to let this happen?! How many times has Wesayso trampled over nature and get away with it? Taking everything we've worked for and stomp on it?" Richfield new a rising protest is happening and started to scream to a camera man. "Turn it off, turn it off!"
Outside on a roof.
An Alakazam and Solrock were glowing while Ven and Litzia had their blades merge into a satellite dish. Ven was using his phone to see the news while the orange haired girl smiled in mischief. "Turn it off huh?" She pressed a button and caused the dish to make a disrupting pulse. "Okay." As the pulse was getting to work, Richfield was roaring death threats. "I'll rip your heads off and eat your entrails in front of your-" His portion disappeared in static and Ven looked to Bursty, Shadey and the prehistoric beasts, who were keeping on patrol. Bursty and Shadey felt a strange sensation and looked a particular direction at something that should go elsewhere.
Without Richfield interfering, Robbie raised a fist and called a rally. "If you all want to actually make a difference, let's march over to Wesayso and let them know we've had enough! Are you with us?"
Kroko, Yanmy and Keahi gave a cheer, those on patrol were hearing the faint sound of someone chanting in protest. Howard was looking quite impressed and continued with his report. "Well, there you have it. A rally against the tyrannical rule of Wesayso is about to arise. Make your sign boards and practice your chants, this is going to be a long night."
Back at the Home.
Fran, Baby, Earl, Ethyl, the arrived Wayfinder Duo and a band of pokemon were quite surprised by who encourage the rally. They heard the sound of something warping and the door open to let in Robbie and Charline, who were celebrating like typical siblings. Leaving Fran both terrified and proud. Litzia gave a twirl and was quite impressed. "I can't believe you kids kicked his butt like that!"
Ven was near speechless at what transpired. "That's got him mad enough that he won't be able to hide anything now." Aqua agreed with him and shared Frans concern. "But, that also means Richfield is cornered and if he has Shadow Pokemon with him, we need to be at the front lines. The world finally takes a stand!"
Ethyl nodded with her and notice a particular someone missing. "It's enough to make your ancestors proud." She took her cane and lectured the band. "Try not to get killed, these looneys will bring out the big guns. Guards, dogs and hoses! You don't give them an inch, you hear me!"
The whole family was in a rally and Ethyl used her wheel chair to follow to the front yard, finding Earl looking up to the Volcano and the neighbors making protest signs. The elder called out in spite. "Hey we missed the part where you disagree with the kids and say something stupid." Earl heard his in law and groaned. "Not this time Ethyl."
He turned in frustration. "Now I'm never going to get my job back, Richfield's going to kill those kids if he gets the chance and I want a few words with him myself." Ethyl wasn't going to correct him on very likely facts. "You won't get another chance if you let yourself miss out. Time doesn't just rewind when you screw up." She tried to turn with her chair and invited him back in. "The guys are working in the ideas and you might want to listen." Earl went to pull a letter from the pocket of his shirt and gave it a silent read, being more and more concern. He hoped, deep with in his heart, that he's doing the right thing.
At the Wesayso office.
Richfield was frosted in rage and was scathing spite at Braig's comment. "I know they're coming! Every single Dinosaur with brains bigger than a walnut are on to us now!"
The crook shared that anger and spite with him. "Don't worry about them, with the kind of monsters we got twisted up and the sycophants you've fed to the darkness, we'll exterminate these bugs before they can even dream of stopping this deal from coming true." He gave a sinister smirk. "Everyone won't be bothering you again and you can get back to making that money."
Richfield blasted out heat from his nostrils. "Don't these idiots know that without Wesayso, society as we know it will collapse?! We own them, we own this whole continent and they can either kiss it up or jump off into the ocean." His expression matched with the cold aura. "When you got your eyes on those kids, you better make sure they whole crowd watches! You got me?"
Braig gave a small salute. "Ten four, Mr. Richfield." He faded into the darkness. "Ten four."
