Chapter 12: The scrolls true message
In the temple Moxxie looked up staring at the golden Angel statue, holding the scroll in its hands. The scroll has been in its hands for who knows how long, now the time has come for the scroll to be in the hands of the angelic warrior as Moxxie took a breath "So…I'm really ready for this?" Asked Moxxie confused "You are…Moxxie" Vaggie replied with a smile as Moxxie smiled at the fallen angel that she called him by his first name. Vaggie walked near the candles where Jesus staff was held as Vaggie took a deep breath and let it out as she picked up the staff. Everyone watched what there master was going to do as Vaggie looked up at the statue as she went near the pool as she gently spins the staff by using the power of wind to make the flower petals fly happily and gracefully in a dance upward above the water. The others watched in amazement as one of the petals as one of the petals landed on the side of the scroll gently…as suddenly from the tap the scroll moved as Vaggie watched as the scroll slid out of the hand and to the pool, as quickly she grabbed it by the staff with a small tap on the pool as ripples were created.
"Behold the angel scroll *Turns and gives it to Moxxie* its yours" she said as Moxxie took it feeling the slight paper and metal of the scroll as he felt nervous "What happens if I read it?" He asked a little anxious "No one knows but legends says that you will be able to hear a butterfish heartbeat" Vaggie explained as Moxxie shivered "Woah really?" He asked in excitement. "Yes and see light in the deepest caves" Vaggie continued "You will see the universe in motion around you" said Vaggie as Moxxie was in awe "Wow! Can I punch through walls? Can I quadruple back flip? Can I fly?" He said as he started to ramble in excitement "Focus" started Vaggie said but poor Moxxie kept going on and on "Focus" said Vaggie stopping moxxie "Huh? Oh yeah" said Moxxie "Read it Moxxie, and fulfill your destiny, read it and become the angelic warrior" said Vaggie as Moxxie was excited as he opened the lid…but it was tricky "Its impossible to open!" He said as he kept trying to open it with his mouth as Vaggie stared at him and held out her hand as Moxxie gave it to her as she opened the tube as the scroll was out of the container as he took it "Ok…here I go" he said as he slowly opened the scroll bracing himself for what will happen next as he opened the scroll as the light on it shone as he screamed without warning and in panic as everyone took a step back in surprise afraid of what will happen next.
"Its blank!" Yelled Moxxie surprising the others "What?!" Said Vaggie and the others surprised as he showed the scroll "here look" said Moxxie showing the fallen angel the scroll "*Looks away* no I am forbidden to look…" she said…but grabbed the scroll and looked at it as she closed and opened it a few times…but nothing "Blank I dont understand?" She asked as that really dampen Moxxie spirits "so Jesus was just a crazy fool after all!" He said in defeat "No he's wiser than all of us!" Said Moxxie seeing that it was truly a mistake that Jesus made about him. "Come on lets face it! He chose me by accident! Accept it! I'm not the angelic warrior after all!" Moxxie sat down sadly that he wasnt the angelic warrior as the scroll didnt reveal its secrets to him as Vaggie stared at her reflection in the pool concerned. Now that the scroll is blank, there's no hope that Velvette will be defeated.
"Who will stop Velvette?" Asked Loona worried "Loona we can still stop her" said Millie "we just need a stragity" started Millie but Vaggie shook her head "No evacuate the Vally!" Said Vaggie as she places the scroll inside the tube and gave it back to Moxxie "We must protect the villagers from Velvets rage" she said worrying the others "What about you master?" Asked Millie "I will fight her" said Vaggie firmly surprising everyone "I can hold her off long enough…for everyone to escape" explained Vaggie with a sad sigh "Have you lost your mind? He'll kill you" said Moxxie worried for the fallen angel.
Velvette looked away "Then I will finally pay for my mistake, listen to me all of you, its time for you to continue your journey without me, I am very proud to have been your master *To millie* Millie…I am sorry for how I have treated you, you were my proudest student" she said in respect as she bowed in respect as the others joined as well as Vaggie looked at the pool as Moxxie stared at her sadly seeing Vaggie was about to fight against her former student long ago.
At the village news about Velvette has spread to everyone as everyone started the evacuation before Velvette shows up and unleashed her rage as the ferocious warriors came to help out the villagers as Blitzo helped his father and twin evacuate the circus as Angel dust helped his husband husk and adopted children get out as Loona finding a hellhound pup crying picked her up "Come on lets hurry and find your dad" said Loona as Millie gave orders as the group obeyed and spread the word as Frizzaroli hurried to his husband Asmodus and there adopted children as he helped him evacuate the staff of Ozzies lounge as Moxxie watched sad wishing he could had done more as the angelic warrior as he walked next to his moms noodle cart sadly as he saw his moms looking sadly at there cart "Moms" he said running over as the two smiled happy to see there son is ok "Moxxie, oh praise my uncle you are ok" said Beth as she and Bella huge him "Its good to have you back Mox, our restaurant was almost a wreck without you" said Bella as Moxxie smiled and patted his moms back "yeah, good to be back" he said as he helped pulled the cart and joined the line of the others still leaving.
"Well I think for our new shop I thought the next big thing like Dice cut veggies, change it from sliced and maybe we can have a kitchen that you can stand up in Moxxie, do you like that?" Asked Bella but saw that poor Moxxie was still looking down very sad, still upset that he screwed up big time as the two females sighed and shared a look as they walked over "Moxxie listen we are sorry that things didnt turn out that way you wanted them to, we really do…it just want meant to be" said Beth as Moxxie let out a sad sigh as he leaned against the cart as Bella gently patted his head "Moxxie…just forget what happened your destiny is still waiting for you! We are noodle folk and broth runs through our veins" said Bella as Moxxie looked at his adopted moms.
"Mama Bella, Mama beth sometimes I cant believe I am your child" said Moxxie groaning sadly as the two were surprised at first but sighed as they shared a look "Moxxie…there's something I should have told you a long ago" she said as Moxxie was curious "Really?" He knows he was adopted maybe its something deeper as Bella looked back and forth to see if no one is here "The secret ingredient of my secret ingredient soup" said Bella confusing Moxxie but lean close.
"Come closely the secret ingredient is…nothing" said Bella as that confused Moxxie "What?" He wonders "What do you mean nothing?" Asked Moxxie confused "I mean there is no secret ingredient" said Beth "Its just…plain ordinary soup?" Asked Moxie confused "No special sauce, ingredient no anything?" Asked Moxxie "I dont need any, to make something special you just have to believe that its special" said Bella as Moxxie eyes widened as he opened the scroll that he still kept as he stares at the blank scroll, but taking a closer look he saw it was a mirror as he saw his reflection in the scroll as he realized what it means "There is no secret ingredient.
The true secret of the scroll…is that he has to believe in himself to truly believe that he is the angel warrior
Closing it he looked at his moms "I got to go set things right…alone" he said as he hugged his moms as Beth and Bella hugged him back "be careful son" said Beth as Moxxie nodded as he ran to the palace…ready to face his destiny as the angelic warrior and stop Velvette.
Authors note: even in death Jesus knows the true secret to strength…belief in ones self to make a great warrior, it also takes the wisdom of a fox sinner and fallen angel to also reinforce that as well
Next chapter is the climax battle as while Vaggie fights a good fight, Moxxie must step up to stop Velvette using all he learned and adapted to.
