Toru groaned and slowly moved his head upwards. His eyes crept open and he squinted from the bright light that was being flashed in his face.

"Wh…What's happening..?"

"You want to know what's happening you fucker?!" Kyoya grabbed ahold of Toru's cloak and lifted him so they were eye level. "We finally caught you and you're going to rot in fucking prision for the rest of your miserable life."

"Wh-What?"

Toru seemed to be finally gaining back his consciousness and began looking around where he was at. When he noticed Kyoya's police force guns were drawn on him, he began to panic.

"Wai-Wait! What do you mean?! I haven't done anything!"

"Bullshit! We caught you red handed." He leaned his face closer to Toru's. Their noses were just centimeters away from each other. Kyoya could see the fear in his eyes. The fear of him finally being caught. "Why did you do it? Why did you kill all those people?"

"I didn't kill anyone!"

"Stop lying!" Kyoya yelled at him, shaking Toru around. His grip on his black cloak tightened as Toru cried. He had no reason to cry! He did all of this to himself. Hurting so many people, for what? To be with Haruhi? To kill her? He barely even knew her? Was it because Haruhi kissed Kanako all those years ago? He had no idea what other reason he would want Haruhi. He needed to know!

"I'll ask again. Why did you kill all those people for Haruhi?!"

"I didn't!" Toru sobbed out. "I promise I didn't kill anyone! You have to believe me!"

Kyoya wanted to punch him. No, he wanted to kill him. He couldn't believe Toru was still trying to fight for his innocence and crying like a baby when doing so. He wasn't going to leave here until Toru finally admitted it!

Before Kyoya could berate Toru more, he felt the presence of Honda come up behind him.

"Sir, something isn't right." He said.

"What do you mean?"

"Look at his hands."

Kyoya did as Honda said and his eyes grew wide when he saw that Toru was bound to the chair by his arms with a thick rope. He then examined Toru's face and saw that he had scratches and was bruised up pretty bad, most likely from the car crash, but there seemed to be bruising forming around his neck as if he had been choked.

Kyoya lowered Toru so all four legs of the chair were back on the ground. "What is the last thing you remember?"

"I…I was in the restroom," Toru sniffed, trying to keep himself together. "There was this guy who kept staring at me and when I tried to move past him he attacked. The last thing I remember was him choking me before I blacked out."

Kyoya let go of Toru's cloak and told Hotta to untie him from the chair. Toru couldn't have been the killer. How else could he have been bound to the chair? He wouldn't have been able to do that himself. Also, what was his objective if he was the killer? Toru rarely ever talked to Haruhi, and if he did, it was usually in the presence of his fiance.

Kyoya then felt his body grow cold as the realization hit him when his eyes caught his photo pinned on the link board. The knife pierced dead center of his face and the message was clear to him. Toru wasn't the killer. He was a distraction!

Before he could alert his police force, the door to the bunker shut and was accompanied with a click indicating that it was locked.

"Fuck…" Kyoya rushed over to the door and tried to pry it open. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"

How could he have been so fucking stupid?! Of course this bunker was a fucking trap! He was so set on finding the killer that he didn't suspect anything of the sort since he thought he got the guy. While in reality, this was all part of his sick plan.

"Help me pry it open!" Kyoya barked the order at his force. "If we use enough force, we can get it open."

"Yes sir!"

A few of the police force began trying to help Kyoya pry open the door, but it was futile. The door wouldn't budge.

There was then the sound of something cranking and on the roof at the center of the bunker opened up. Bringing in the light from the street lamps outside. Kyoya rushed over towards the light and looked up to see the night sky, but it was soon covered by a dark figure, a figure that he knew all too well.

"Well, well, well." The dark sinister voice snickered as he stared down at all of them. "Aren't you guys in a pickle."

"You fucker!" Kyoya roared at him.

"That wasn't very nice, Ootori. Especially to the person who is in charge of everyone's lives in there."

The killer held up a remote in a toying manner. Kyoya had no idea what it could do, but seeing how there are a lot of small holes at the bottom of the bunker, he could only assume it was some type of gas.

"Let's play a game, Ootori. If you win, I let you live. If you lose." He let out a dark laugh. "Let's just say, things will sure 'lighten up.' If you know what I mean?"

Gas or fire, that's what Kyoya was sure the remote controlled. He clenched his jaw and he could feel a lump beginning to form in his throat. He knew the killer's tricks. Even if Kyoya won the game, not everyone was going to make it out alive.

"I take it, you're saying that you let me live, you only mean me. Don't you."

"Cheeky little guy, aren't you?" He let out a mocking sigh and was looking at his gloves as if he was bored. "Sadly yes, you caught on to my little plan. I can't let you all live. Wouldn't be fun for me."

"You sick bastard!" Toru cursed at him. He was trying to be threatening, but sadly it wasn't working. It was obvious that he had never tried confronting someone before, most likely being trained so by his parents to keep a good reputation for their family name. Even though their name was barely worth the amount of change in Kyoya's pocket.

The killer let out a snort. "Cute, what was that supposed to do? Scare me? I'm surprised you were able to keep a woman by being so 'scary' like that. Look, you almost made little old Kyoya there shit himself from your powerful roar." He let out a loud laugh and Kyoya could see that bright red blush beginning to form on Toru's face, but he refused to let his mask fall. He wasn't going to show the killer that he was getting to him. Once his laughter died down and he took a few moments to regain his breath, he looked back down at the duo. "Now, I would love to stay and chat, but I'm getting kinda bored of just talking to you two. Let's make this more exciting, shall we?"

He pushed the button on the remote and Kyoya could hear a slight hissing sound coming from multiple parts of the room.. As he suspected, it was gas.. A ten-minute time displayed on the bunker wall and began counting down The police force began to panic, and while some tried to find a way to block the gas pipes, others tried to pry open the door again.

"I'll leave this open since I'm feeling nice today. Also, I don't want to miss the show." He waved at them before leaving out of their view. "Ta ta."

He then left, leaving the hatch open. Giving them a clear way to get out through the roof. The only issue was, the hatch was small. The guards wouldn't be able to fit through with all their gear on, and by looking at the timer on the wall, there wouldn't be enough time to get everyone out in less than ten minutes.

"No, no, no! I don't want to die!" Toru sobbed out. He crouched down and held his head on the verge of a mental breakdown.

"Sir, you know what we have to do." Tachibana said to Kyoya. He could hear the trembling in his voice. Not from fear, but from sadness. "We can't let you two die in here."

"There has to be another way…" Tachibana shook his head, and Kyoya knew that he was right. About ten policemen were trying to force their way out of the bunker and the door wasn't even budging. If he wanted to live, the only way out was that small hole on the ceiling.

"Since the day we started working for the Ootori family. We have made a vow to protect you with our lives." Honda informed.

"And we took that pledge seriously, sir," Aijima added.

Kyoya felt tears begin burning his eyes, but quickly whipped them away with his sleeve and took a deep breath. He had to remain strong. He couldn't show weakness. Not right now. If he did, it would only halt things and could make things deadly.

"We need to get Toru out first," Kyoya told his guards. "Once he's safe, we can get me up."

"Yes sir." The three guards said.

Kyoya went over to Toru, who was still sobbing into his hands. Kyoya placed a hand on his shoulder to try and get his attention.

"Come on Toru, we have to get you out."

"I'm going to die!" He panicked. "I don't want to die."

"You're not going to die. We are going to save you, but only if you move." Toru still couldn't move. Kyoya looked over at the clock and saw that there were only seven minutes left on the clock. They had to start moving now. "Come on Toru. Think about Kanako. She wouldn't want you to die!"

That seemed to snap Toru out of his panic attack and he quickly got up and Kyoya led him to his guards. All four of them huddled together underneath the hatch and hoisted Toru up. Since he didn't have the best balance after getting beaten up, it took Toru a bit longer than Kyoya wanted to to get their balance stable, but within a few seconds he was able to get balanced.

With another hoist up, Toru used what little upper body strength he had to wiggle his way through the hatch. Now it was Kyoya's turn. He looked back at the clock. He had only three minutes to get out of here, but he couldn't leave before doing one last thing.

"Thank you," Kyoya told his guards. "For everything. For being there whenever I needed you…for being part of my family…"

Kyoya wasn't a physical person. No one other than his sister Fuyumi in the Ootori family was very physical, but he needed to say a proper goodbye to his bodyguards and they knew it. All three of them got around Kyoya and gave him a big hug, but sadly it couldn't last too long as the timer was down to a minute and a half. In one swift movement, they hoisted him up and he was able to climb through the hole. He grabbed the top and looked down at his bodyguards, who just smiled sadly at him and saluted him.

"It was an honor working for you, sir," Tachibana said.

Kyoya couldn't hold back the tears any longer and he saluted them back before saying,

"Thank you for your service to the Ootori family."

He then closed the hatch, and even though it was the hardest thing in his life he had to do, he knew he had to lock it. Once he heard the soft click, he felt a small vibration from underneath him, and heard muffled screams from inside. He covered his ears, he couldn't listen to it, but it was the only sound he could hear. It was surrounding him, like a swarm of bees that he couldn't escape from. Stinging him over and over again just to torture him. The sound was going to haunt him the rest of his life.

He felt someone grab onto his shoulder and the screams seemed to begin to vanish when he saw Toru had taken him some place away from the bunker without him realizing it. He felt like he should be mad at him, for some reason he felt like Toru was to blame, but he knew better. Toru was a victim as well.

"Kyoya, I'm…"

Before Toru could finish trying to comfort Kyoya, they heard the sound of someone slowly clapping. Kyoya whipped his head towards the direction and saw Ghostface.

"Wow, that was so beautiful." He pretended to wipe a tear from his eye. "Who knew watching them work together to help save their boss could be so…pathetic."

He laughed and Kyoya was blinded by range. How dare he fucking disrespect the men that put their lives on the line to protect them and the people he cared about as if they were some sick animal.

Without even thinking, Kyoya got up and charged towards the killer, who only seemed amused at the situation. Kyoya tried to lay a punch on him, but the killer kept blocking each blow with his arms and hands as he laughed, mocking him. Once Kyoya tried punching him again, the killer grabbed ahold of his arm and twisted him around until his back was pressed up against the killer's chest. He then felt the cold metal of the blade on his neck as the killer held his knife there.

"I guess those self defense classes haven't been going so well. You couldn't even lay a hand on me. How sad."

"Fuck you!" Kyoya hissed, but it only made the killer laugh again. His laugh was almost as crazy as he was.

"Aww, did you take that from Toru's playbook? How cute. However, I don't like copy cats."

Kyoya felt the blade swiftly move from his neck and before he could comprehend what was happening, he felt a terrible burning sensation in his side. It immediately clicked for him that he had been stabbed, but he wasn't going to show the killer he was in pain to give him the satisfaction.

"That's a lot coming from you," Kyoya grunted out. "A person who is literally copying a killer from a slasher movie. You should've been more original."

The killer hummed amusedly. He knew Kyoya was right, but was irritated that Kyoya pointed out his hypocrisy. He pulled the knife out of Kyoya's side and pushed him to the ground, knocking the wind out of him. Kyoya turned on his good side to face the killer, who was admiring his blood-stained knife.

"I know someone who would drink this, you know." The killer said. "Your blood. Never understood the hype of the glasses character. It's such a bore."

"How do you know?" Kyoya was able to roll on to his back, gripping his side that was oozing out blood. "How do you know all this shit about us?! The self defense, my type in the Host Club! How the fuck do you know this?!"

The killer cocked his head to the side as he took a few steps closer to him. "You tell me Ootori. How do I know this? You're the smartest person in your class and the youngest son of the Ootori family. You should be able to figure it out." He used his free hand to wipe the blood away in one quick movement. "I can't kill you sadly, but I sure am going to love torturing you."

Before Kyoya could react, a swift movement of black raced towards him and pinned him down on the ground. Kyoya tried fighting him off, but from the blood he was losing he was too weak. He tried to use the moves that Mori had taught him, but it was as if the killer knew them already and had made his legs in a position where he wouldn't be able to be flipped over. How did the killer know so much about what they had done? Did he have cameras, a secret recorder..? Could there be a spy? Kyoya was able to finally get a hand free and punched the killer in the face, but it only made the killer mad.

"You just made a mistake Ootori!" He seethed.

He grabbed Kyoya's arm and in a quick swift movement twisted it and immediately Kyoya felt a surge of pain course through his arm as he heard a sickening snap. He clenched his jaw tightly, trying his hardest to silence the pain-filled cries trying to escape him, and the killer could tell.

"Still trying to fight it, huh? Don't worry, I have all night." The killer raised his knife with a maniacal laugh. "Let's see what makes you scream!"

However, before he could try and stab him again, there was a loud bang sound. Almost deafening, and the killer's knife was launched out of his hand. Both Kyoya and the killer looked at the killer's hand where the knife was just a few seconds ago before looking at where the knife had flown a few feet away from them. They both then looked over towards the direction of the sound and were surprised to see Toru pointing a handgun at them. An expression Kyoya never thought he would ever see Toru make, especially while holding a gun. One of the guards must've given it to him before helping him out, knowing that it would be more beneficial since the killer was after Kyoya instead.

"Let him go," Toru ordered. "If you don't, the knife isn't only going to be the thing that is shot today."

The killer raised his hands in the air, but Kyoya knew what he was trying to do. He knew Toru was too much of a coward to actually shoot him, so once there was an opening, he was going to rush Toru and kill him.

"Put the gun down Toru." The killer commanded. "You don't want to hurt yourself with it."

Toru just continued to glare at the killer, barrel still locked on him. "You have ten seconds to grab your shit and leave before a fucking blow your brains out. Ten."

As if challenging him, the killer took a step closer. "Give me the gun Toru, and I'll let you go."

"Nine."

Another step the killer took. "You don't want to do this. You don't want to kill anyone. You wouldn't be able to live with it."

"Eight."

Another step. "Think about your fiancé. Do you think she would stay with you if you're a killer?"

The gun began shaking in Toru's hands. "Se…Seven."

Another step. "See, you're not a killer Toru. Now give me the gun and you can walk away."

"I'm…I'm not a killer…" Toru began to tear up and slowly began lowering the gun.

"No Toru! Don't listen to him!" Kyoya yelled out to him, but it fell on deaf ears.

"No, you're not. You're a coward and that's ok." He was now only a few feet from Toru and held out his hand for Toru to give him the gun. "Now hand me the gun and this can all be over soon."

Kyoya tried to call out to Toru again to get him to not listen, but he moved in an angle where the only thing that came out was a painful grunt. Toru looked at the eyes of the killer's mask and took a deep breath before saying.

"Fuck you."

Toru then quickly lifted the gun back up and shot the killer in the chest, making him stumble back a few feet. The killer grabbed onto his chest and rubbed it as his breathing was rough.

"You shot me! You actually fucking shot me!" The killer exclaimed in surprise. Then once the shock quickly vanished, it turned into fury. "You fucking bastard!" He reached to grab his knife where he usually held it, but it wasn't there. He had forgotten that Toru had shot it out of his hand.

Toru shot the gun again, but the killer quickly ducked out of the way. He was smart enough to know that there was no winning against Toru, especially if he had a gun. He cursed before quickly rushing down the opposite alley as Toru shot bullets after him until the bullets ran out. After a few empty clicks of the gun, Toru's legs seem to finally give out from underneath him and he collapsed.

"Oh my God, I actually did that…" He then noticed Kyoya on the floor again and quickly rushed over to him. "Ootori, oh God! Let me call for help!" He began checking his robe for his phone, but of course the killer took it.

"Use my phone." Kyoya used his good arm to retrieve his phone and hand it to Toru. He was beginning to feel sleepy, but was trying his best to stay awake as Toru began dialing the police. "You did well, Toru. I had no idea you could shoot like that."

"My father used to take my family and me on hunting trips in England all the time, but I'm used to shooting a rifle. I'm surprised that I was able to aim well with a pistol. Now save your energy alright."

Kyoya could see his vision beginning to grow black, but he refused to welcome the sweet comfort of sleep. Toru kept talking to him as they waited for the ambulance, and only when the ambulance arrived was when Kyoya finally gave in and let the darkness take him.

Haruhi bolted awake with a loud gasp and quickly looked around her to see where she was. When she realized she was in her bedroom, she began to calm down. She moved her hair out of her face and looked at the clock on her nightstand. It was around 3 a.m. Hikaru had driven her home after the horror scene at the party. She didn't remember the ride home. So much had happened that once she was safe in the car she had passed out. She didn't even remember arriving back at her apartment and changing into her pajamas.

She licked her lips, her mouth was dry. She really needed some water. She reached over to her water bottle that she kept by her bed, but as she lifted it, it felt light. She needed to refill it. She really didn't want to walk all the way to the kitchen. She knew that she still had security watching her almost 24/7, but after having that bad dream she was scared to leave her room. She wanted to try and go back to sleep, but she knew that would be almost impossible with how dry her mouth was.

With her water bottle in hand, she left her room to head towards the kitchen. She wanted to make the trip quick so she could be in the safety of her bed as soon as possible, but she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw a figure in the dark lying on her couch. She was frozen, not knowing what to do. Was that the killer? Was he here to torture her again? Or, was it someone else who knew her from the Ghostface stories in the news and wanted to hurt her?! She held the neck of her metal water bottle tightly and slowly began creeping towards the person. If she had to, she would use the water bottle as a weapon. It might not do much, but it would be good enough to at least stall them so she could get away.

However, as she crept closer, she noticed that it wasn't a random person that was on her couch. It was Hikaru.

He had stripped off his Phantom costume and was wearing some of Haruhi's father's clothes, that she doesn't remember letting him borrow. His hair wasn't slicked back anymore so she assumed he had taken a shower. He was sprawled out as much as he could on her tiny couch, but there was what seemed like a makeshift bed that was on the floor beside him. Did he get uncomfortable on the ground and move to the couch?

She turned on the kitchen light and filled her water bottle. She chugged it all down before filling it up again and walked back to the living room to where Hikaru was still sleeping. The faint light coming from the kitchen was hitting him and Haruhi could see his face more clearly now and she couldn't help but admire his beauty. He has changed his style a bit since high school. Both Kaoru and he did. They still dressed similarly at times, but now they had their own styles. The only thing similar about them was their hair. After many years, the twins decided to switch up their hair styles and went away from the side parts and decided on what they call a wolf cut style. Haruhi just said it looked like a K-pop haircut, which the twins took immense offence to. Hikaru had kept his hair dark, saying that it suited him better, and while they didn't have a side part anymore, they couldn't help but have a little more hair on one side of their middle part to give homage to their old style. Haruhi thought the style looked really good when the twins were trying it out last year, and it seemed so did the girls from their school.

Fuck, he really was a beautiful man. She's always known that, but she was blinded by her love for Tamaki for so long that she never noticed just how truly beautiful he really was. Inside and out. So, what were they? They obviously weren't dating. Were they, as Mei calls it, "Fuck Buddy?" Haruhi thought that term to use for Hikaru was crude, and they hadn't even had sex, so would that term even count? Maybe friends with benefits? They didn't do much, but she was open to doing so. Especially if it'll be as good as it was last night.

Hikaru turned his head and his face seemed to scrunch from the sudden light. His eyes opened slowly and he blinked tiredly for a bit as he stared at Haruhi, trying to get his eyes to focus.

"What time is it?" He groaned as he rubbed his eyes."

"Around 3," Haruhi answered. She moved over to the side of the couch and sat on the bedding that was laid out next to him.

Once he finished rubbing his eyes, he looked over at her and gave her a tired smile. He moved a stray of hair behind her ear before cupping her cheek. "How are you feeling?"

"Alright I guess. I don't remember coming home though."

"You passed out in the car from shock. You woke up when we got to your apartment, but I guess from everything that happened you went on autopilot and don't remember. You did seem numb."

"Yeah, most likely." She looked into his eyes and he continued to smile at her. She knew that they only fooled around once, but she had to ask him. "So…what are we?"

Hikaru's smile fell, but his hand remained on her cheek. "What do you mean?"

"After what we did at the party…are you willing to do it again or…was it a one time thing?" Her face was burning hot with embarrassment and she knew Hikaru could feel her cheeks burning up.

He shrugged. "I don't know. What do you want us to be? If it was a one-time thing, I would be a bit sad honestly, but it's up to you. I'm not going to pressure you into anything you don't want."

"No, I do want it." She blurted out, which shocked both her and Hikaru. He just stared at her, his eyes wide and then a huge smile spread across his face.

"You have no idea how my inner high school self is jumping for joy that you said that."

"I'm just worried."

"About ruining our friendship? I promise you that's not going to happen." He assured.

"It's not really that." Haruhi sighed out. "It's the killer. What if he finds out about us? He'd kill you."

"I promise nothing is going to happen to me, Haruhi." He grabbed ahold of her hand to comfort her. "He already tried to get me once and I survived. I'm not scared of him."

He leaned over to kiss her, before she could say another fear that may ruin the relationship they just established. The kiss wasn't too heated, but she did feel a chill run down her spine when she felt him bite her lip before ending the kiss.

'Fuck, that was hot!'

Just with that kiss, she was ready to pounce on him and finish what they had started at the party, and it seemed like Hikaru could read her mind from the smirk spreading across his face.

"I would love to do all the perverted things that's happening in your mind right now, but we can't do them while Kaoru is also here."

"Kaoru is also here?" Haruhi raised a brow.

"Yeah he's sleeping…" It then clicked for him that Haruhi was sitting on the sheets and blanket laid out on the floor. So this was where Kaoru was sleeping and not Hikaru. Haruhi must've been really out of it because she doesn't even remember Kaoru getting in the car when they left the party.

"Where is Kaoru?" Hikaru sat up and scanned Haruhi's dark apartment. He quickly sat up when he didn't see him in the room.

"I don't know. To be honest, I didn't even realize he was here."

Hikaru quickly shot the blanket off of him, and was about to tear down Haruhi's apartment to find his missing twin. Then, if on cue, the door to the bathroom opened and Kaoru walked out while doing a big stretch and yawning. He noticed Hikaru and Haruhi were up also and stared at them confused.

"What's up? Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"We were worried when we couldn't find you," Hikaru said, relieved. "I guess with everything that happened tonight the worst case scenario was playing in my mind."

"Nah, I get it. Tonight was pretty scary." He pulled out his phone from his back pocket. "Renge texted me that there was an update about the killer when we were asleep. I asked her what it was about when I was in the bathroom, but she hasn't…" His phone dinged and Kaoru looked at his screen. "Speak of the devil." Kaoru read the text message and his expression turned from confused to immediately horrified. "Oh my God…"

"What is it?" Haruhi asked as she and Hikaru immediately stood up.

"We have to go," Kaoru said as he rushed to get his coat.

"Wait Kaoru, what's going on?"

"I'll tell you both in the car. Just get a coat and shoes and meet me at the car."
